2Distribution and partition of polybrominated diphenyl ethers(PBDEs) in water of the Zhujiang River Estuary显示文摘The spatial,temporal,and vertical distributions of polybrominated diphenyl ethers(PBDEs) in water columns from the Zhujiang River Estuary were examined,and the partition behavior of PBDEs between particle and dissolved phases was investigated in the present study.The results show that the distributions of PBDEs concentrations in the water varied with the sampling seasons.The PBDEs concentrations in water samples were lower in May 2005,when the brackish water was dominant in the estuary,than in October 2005,when fresh water from river runoff dominated the estuary.The spatial distribution of PBDEs in October 2005 indicated that the river runoff was the major mode to input PBDEs to the estuary,and the concentration of PBDEs in water might be dissolved organic carbon(DOC) dependence.The spatial and vertical distributions of PBDEs in May 2005 were relatively homogeneous,and SPM was the major factor on controlling the levels of PBDEs in this sampling time.Both DOC and POC could play certain roles in determining the distribution and partition of PBDEs between particle and dissolved phases,but their effects varied with the water properties.LUO XiaoJun YU Mei MAI BiXian CHEN ShenJun 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,4:12
3The sampling apparatus of volatile organic compounds for wood composites显示文摘Terpenes, aldehydes, ketones, benzene, and toluene are the important volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted from wood composites. A sampling apparatus of VOCs for wood composites was designed and manufactured by Northeast Forestry University in China.The concentration of VOCs derived from wood based materials, such as flooring, panel wall, finishing, and furniture can be sampled in a small stainless steel chambers. A protocol is also developed in this study to sample and measure the new and representative specimens. Preliminary research showed that the properties of the equipment have good stability. 5Efficacy and Safety of Adding and Subtracting Decoction of Rehmanniae Combined with Western Medicine in the Treatment of Hypertension:A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis显示文摘Objective:Systematically evaluating the efficacy and safety of adding and subtracting decoction of rehmanniae combined with Western medicine in the treatment of hypertension.Methods:PubMed,The Cochrane Library,EMBASE,Web of Science,CNKI,Wanfang Database,VIP database and China Biomedical Literature Service System(CBM)were searched.All randomized controlled studies(RCTs)on adding and subtracting decoction ofrehmanniae combined with Western medicine in the treatment of hypertension were retrieved.The retrieval period is from the database construction to November 2021.Two investigators independently screened the literature,collected baseline data of patients and data on related indicators,and evaluated the risk of bias in the included randomized controlled trials.Meta-analysis was performed by RevMan5.3 software.Results:Five randomized controlled trials including 380 patients were obtained after screening by inclusing and exclusing criteria.Meta-analysis results showed that:In the experimental group,TCM syndrome score(MD=-4.08,95%CI:-5.32 to-2.84,P<0.00001),systolic blood pressure(SBP)(MD=-7.77,95%CI:-12.03 to-3.51,P=0.0003),diastolic blood pressure(DBP)(MD=-6.76,95%CI:-9.59 to-3.93,P<0.00001)were better than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant.Conclusion:The current evidence shows that compared with the simple use of Western medicine,adding and subtracting decoction of rehmanniae combined with Western medicine in the treatment of hypertension has more advantages in improving TCM syndromes and reducing systolic and diastolic blood pressure,and the conclusion is reliable.However,due to the limited number and low quality of included randomized controlled trials,more randomized,double-blind,large-sample clinical studies are needed to confirm the above conclusions.Rui Wang Yixuan Dong Wenna Zhang Yue Jing Liu Qian Xie Shenjun Wang 2022Asian Toxicology Tesearch2022,4,1:2

10Downregulation effects of beta-elemene on the levels of plasma endotoxin,serum TNF-alpha,and hepatic CD14 expression in rats with liver fibrosis显示文摘It has been demonstrated thatβ-elemene could protect against carbon tetrachloride(CCl_(4))-induced liver fibrosis in our laboratory work,and the aim of this paper is to reveal the protective mechanisms ofβ-elemene.The hepatic fibrosis experimental model was induced by the hypodermical injection of CCl_(4) in Wistar male rats.β-elemene was intraperitoneally administered into rats for 8 weeks(0.1 mL/100 g bodyweight per day),and plasma endotoxin content was assayed by biochemistry.The serum TNF-αlevel was detected using radioactive immunity.CD14 expression in rat livers was measured by immunohistochemistry and Western blot.The results showed thatβ-elemene can downregulate the levels of plasma endotoxins,serum TNF-α,and hepatic CD14 expression in rats with liver fibrosis.β-elemene plays an important role in downregulating the lipopolysaccharide signal transduction pathway,a significant pathway in hepatic fibrosis development.Jianguo LIU Zhe ZHANG Jiechang GAO Jiwen XIE Lin YANG Shenjun HU 2011Frontiers of Medicine2011,5,1:1

13Relationship between Thermal Metamorphism of Coal and the Periodic Variation Law of Geochemical Behavior of Elements:A Study on the C2 Coal Seam in the Fengfeng Mining Area of the Handan Coalfield in Hebei,China显示文摘This study highlights the response of the periodic variation of the geochemical behavior of elements to the thermal metamorphism of coal by considering the differentiation mode and differentiation degree of elements of the C2 coal seam in the Fengfeng mining area of the Handan Coalfield in Hebei,China.The periodic variation of the geochemical behavior of elements was observed to change towards a certain direction as the degree of metamorphism of a geological body increased.Based on the coincidence degree(or similarity degree)between the geochemical behavior of elements and periodic variation of elements,the 57 elements in this study were divided into two levels.The periodic variation of the geochemical behavior of first-level elements was largely synchronous with that of their first ionization energy,suggesting that only one differentiation mode exists and the elements are mainly inorganically associated.The differentiation mode of the second-level elements deviated to a certain extent from their first ionization energy;the larger the deviation,the more complicated and diverse was the differentiation mode.Among the second-level elements,the grade of coal metamorphism has evident and intuitive effects on the proportion of elements with particular structural features,such as the 4q+3 type of elements and the odd-odd elements.In addition,the distribution of elements in organic and inorganic matter within coal are subject to the structural features of the elements.The differentiation mode and differentiation intensity of elements could be characterized by the hierarchical parameter and differentiation intensity.The hierarchical parameter and differentiation intensity of certain elements showed a good positive or negative correlation with R_(max) in coal.The 57 elements in this study were quantitatively ordered according to the degree of magmatic hydrothermal fluid influence and thermal metamorphism of coal through graphs depicting the goodness of fit,correlation coefficient with R_(max),and differentiation intensity.The results of this study are consistent with the results of previous field research,illustrating the scientific significance and application value of this study on the periodic variation of the geochemical behavior of elements.YANG Jianye QIN Shenjun ZHANG Weiguo LIU Shande XU Fei 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,5:1

16Development background of Mesozoic high-quality source rocks: Evidence from microfossils in North Carnarvon Basin, Australia显示文摘Based on numerous microfossils in Mesozoic of North Carnarvon Basin in Australia,the Mesozoic paleoclimate and paleoenvironment were analyzed,the paleogeographic background and development model of Mesozoic high-quality source rocks were investigated and discussed.Variation of microfossil species and their relative contents in Mesozoic different intervals indicates changes of paleoclimate and paleoenvironment.The paleoclimate shows a cycle variation of aridehumidearidehumid,the regression occurred in the Early TriassiceLate Triassic and the transgression occurred in the Late TriassiceLate Cretaceous.Four sedimentary facieses including delta facies,littoral facies,restricted sea facies and open sea facies were developed in the Mesozoic.The open sea was mainly developed in the Early Triassic,the delta was distributed in the MiddleeLate Triassic,the restricted sea was especially well developed in the Jurassic,and the restricted sea and open sea were mainly distributed in the Cretaceous.Characteristics of microfossil assemblage in these four sedimentary facies are dramatically different.From the delta facies,littoral facies,restricted sea facies to open sea facies,content of pollen gradually decreases,but content of the dinoflagellate+acritarch gradually increases.The delta facies and littoral facies are dominated by the pollen.In the restricted sea facies,content of the pollen is equivalent to that of the dinoflagellate+acritarch.The open sea facies is dominated by the dinoflagellate and acritarch.Supply of sediment and formation of organic matter are influenced by the paleoclimate and paleoenvironment,and type of organic matter is controlled by the microfossil assemblage.Based on the palaeogeographic background,paleoclimatic condition and microfossil assemblage,two developmental models of the Mesozoic source rocks such as the development model of terrestrial organic matter under the background of large delta and the development model of mixed organic matter under the background of the restricted sea,were proposed.Xing Niu Xianghua Yang Detian Yan Xinguo Zhuang Bo Wang Shenjun Huo Xiaoming Xu 2019Petroleum Research2019,4,1:1

18Efficacy and safety of Guipi Decoction combined with conventional Western medicine in the treatment of insomnia with deficiency of heart and spleen:a meta-analysis显示文摘Objective:To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Guipi Decoction combined with Western medicine in the treatment of insomnia with deficiency of heart and spleen.Methods:English databases(PubMed,Web of Science,The Cochrane Library,EMBASE)and Chinese databases(CNKI,Wanfang database,China Biomedical Literature Service System,VIP database)were searched by computer.Randomized controlled trials of Guipi Decoction on insomnia with deficiency of heart and spleen were searched from the database construction to November 2021.After the first and second authors independently screened the literature,extracted the data and evaluated the risk of bias in the included studies,meta-analysis was performed using RevMan5.3 software.Results:A total of 9 RCTS were included after screening,including 914 patients.Meta-analysis results showed that:Total effective rate[RR=1.22,95%CI(1.16,1.30),P<0.00001],total PSQI score[MD=-3.05,95%CI(-3.96,-2.14),P=0.008],number of night awakening times[[MD=-1.18,95%CI(-1.42,-0.94),P<0.00001],adverse reaction rate[RR=0.32,95%CI(0.21,0.51),P<0.00001]were better than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant.Conclusion:The current evidence shows that,compared with pure using conventional western medicine,belongs to the spleen decoction combined western medicine therapy,cases both deficiency type of insomnia in the total effective rate,reducing the total PSQI score(improve sleep quality,sleep efficiency,sleep disorder,daytime function,etc.),reducing frequency of nighttime awakening,security,have more advantages.However,due to the limitation of the quality and quantity of articles included in the study,more randomized,double-blind,large-sample clinical studies are needed to confirm the above conclusions.Huixin Chen Zhogqing Dou Sirui Liu Hongchen Dong Di Zhang Shenjun Wang 2022Asian Toxicology Tesearch2022,4,1:1
