1In vivo theranostics with near-infraredemitting carbon dots—highly efficient photothermal therapy based on passive targeting after intravenous administration显示文摘Carbon dots that exhibit near-infrared fluorescence(NIR CDs)are considered emerging nanomaterials for advanced biomedical applications with low toxicity and superior photostability and targeting compared to currently used photoluminescence agents.Despite progress in the synthesis of NIR CDs,there remains a key obstacle to using them as an in vivo theranostic agent.This work demonstrates that the newly developed sulfur and nitrogen codoped NIR CDs are highly efficient in photothermal therapy(PTT)in mouse models(conversion efficiency of 59%)and can be readily visualized by photoluminescence and photoacoustic imaging.The real theranostic potential of NIR CDs is enhanced by their unique biodistribution and targeting.Contrary to all other nanomaterials that have been tested in biomedicine,they are excreted through the body’s renal filtration system.Moreover,after intravenous injection,NIR CDs are accumulated in tumor tissue via passive targeting,without any active species such as antibodies.Due to their accumulation in tumor tissue without the need for intratumor injection,high photothermal conversion,excellent optical and photoacoustic imaging performance,and renal excretion,the developed CDs are suitable for transfer to clinical biomedical practice.Xin Bao Ye Yuan Jingqin Chen Bohan Zhang Di Li Ding Zhou Pengtao Jing Guiying Xu Yingli Wang Kateřina Holá Dezhen Shen Changfeng Wu Liang Song Chengbo Liu Radek Zbořil Songnan Qu 2018Light(Science & Applications)2018,7,1:13

4One-step Synthesis of Shape-controllable Gold Nanoparticles and Their Application in Surface-enhanced Raman Scattering显示文摘Gold nanoparticles(NPs) of various shapes were synthesized by a one-step method at ambient temperature in the presence of NaCI.2-mercaptosuccinic acid(MSA) was used as both reducing agent and stabilizing agent.The shapes of gold NPs were controllable by simply tuning S/Au ratio(S is from MSA molecule,and S/Au ratio is controlled by tuning the volume of added MSA solution),and triangle,polygonal and spherical nanoparticles were obtained.This result suggested a new way to consider the effects of MSA on the growth of nanoparticles,which showed that MSA is a strong capping agent and facilitates more uniform growth of nanoparticles in every dimension.And other important factors on nanoparticles growth including NaCI and temperature were discussed.Furthermore,a typical probe molecule,4-aminothiophenol(4-ATP) was used to test the surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) activity of these gold NPs and the results indicated good Raman activity on these substrates.And the enhancement factor(EF) at 1078 cm^(-1)(a_1) was estimated to be as large as 6.3×10~4 and 5.5×10~4 for triangular plates and truncated particles,respectively.Lanlan Sun Dongxu Zhao Meng Ding Haifeng Zhao Zhenzhong Zhang Binghui Li Dezhen Shen 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,7:1

7Effect of Mg content on the structural and optical properties of Mg_xZn_(1-x)O alloys显示文摘Mgx Zn1–x O thin films with x = 0, 0.11, 0.28, 0.44, 0.51, and 0.65 were grown by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy on (0001) sapphire substrates. X-ray diffraction measurement reveals that phase separation of the Mgx Zn1–x O films occurred at x =0.44 and 0.51. Optical absorption spectra show that the absorption edges of the films shift to high-energy side with increasing Mg contents. In resonant Raman spectra, multiple-order Raman peaks originating from ZnO-like longitudinal optical phonons were observed. 13An airborne microwave radiometer and measurements of cloud liquid water显示文摘A single-channel (9.5 mm) airborne microwaveradiometer with one antenna is developed. The retrievalmethods and primary observation results of cloud liquidwater and super-cooled cloud liquid water are discussed. Theaircraft experiments show that the cloud liquid water andsuper-cooled liquid water can be sensitively monitored atsome level of accuracy by the radiometer. The results ofcloud liquid water content are reasonable and correspondwell with the surface radar echo intensity. 14Nonequilibrium hot-electron-induced wavelength-tunable incandescent-type light sources显示文摘The collective oscillation of electrons located in the conduction band of metal nanostructures being still energized,with the energy up to the bulk plasmon frequency,are called nonequilibrium hot electrons.It can lead to the state-filling effect in the energy band of the neighboring semiconductor.Here,we report on the incandescent-type light source composed of Au nano rods decorated with single Ga-doped ZnO microwire(AuNRs@ZnO:Ga MW).Benefiting from Au nanorods with controlled aspect ratio,wavelength-tunable incandescent-type lighting was achieved,with the dominating emission peaks tuning from visible to near-infrared spectral regions.The intrinsic mechanism was found that tunable nonequilibrium distribution of hot electrons in ZnO:Ga MW,injected from Au nanorods,can be responsible for the tuning emission features.Apart from the modification over the composition,bandgap engineering,doping level,etc.,the realization of electrically driving the generation and injection of nonequilibrium hot electrons from single ZnO:Ga MW with Au nanostructure coating may provide a promising platform to construct electronics and optoelectronics devices,such as electric spasers and hot-carrier-induced tunneling diodes.ZHIPENG SUN MINGMING JIANG WANGQI MAO CAIXIA KAN CHONGXIN SHAN DEZHEN SHEN 2020Photonics Research2020,8,1:0
