1Aging behavior and fatigue crack propagation of high Zn-containing Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys with zinc variation显示文摘In the present work, the influence of two-step aging treatments on hardness, electrical conductivity and mechanical properties of two high Zn-containing Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys with zinc content variation was investigated and the detailed T76 aging parameters were proposed. The microstructure of the precipitates were studied by transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HREM) and then quantitatively investigated with the aid of an image analysis. The fatigue performances were researched by the fatigue crack propagation(FCP) rate test and fracture morphology was observed with scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The results show that the matrix precipitate size distributions of both alloys had significant difference, so as to fatigue crack propagation rates and fracture appearance. The shear and bypass mechanisms of dislocation-precipitate interactions were employed to explain the difference. Among the shearable precipitates, the proportion of larger size precipitates for the higher zinc content alloy is bigger than that for the lower zinc content alloy. The coarse shearable precipitates hinder the propagation of the fatigue cracks, leading to inferior FCP rate. 3Effect of Mg content on the structural and optical properties of Mg_xZn_(1-x)O alloys显示文摘Mgx Zn1–x O thin films with x = 0, 0.11, 0.28, 0.44, 0.51, and 0.65 were grown by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy on (0001) sapphire substrates. X-ray diffraction measurement reveals that phase separation of the Mgx Zn1–x O films occurred at x =0.44 and 0.51. Optical absorption spectra show that the absorption edges of the films shift to high-energy side with increasing Mg contents. In resonant Raman spectra, multiple-order Raman peaks originating from ZnO-like longitudinal optical phonons were observed. 7Residual stress with asymmetric spray quenching for thick aluminum alloy plates显示文摘Solution and quenching heat treatments are generally carried out in a roller hearth furnace for large-scale thick aluminum alloy plates.However,the asymmetric or uneven spray water flow rate is inevitable under industrial production conditions,which leads to an asymmetric residual stress distribution.The spray quenching treatment was conducted on self-designed spray equipment,and the residual stress along the thickness direction was measured by a layer removal method based on deflections.Under the asymmetric spray quenching condition,the subsurface stress of the high-flow rate surface was lower than that of the low-flow rate surface,and the difference between the two subsurface stresses increased with the increase in the difference in water flow rates.The subsurface stress underneath the surface with a water flow rate of 0.60 m^(3)/h was 15.38 MPa less than that of 0.15 m^(3)/h.The simulated residual stress by finite element(FE)method of the high heat transfer coefficient(HTC)surface was less than that of the low HTC surface,which is consistent with the experimental results.The FE model can be used to analyze the strain and stress evolution and predict the quenched stress magnitude and distribution.Ning Fan Zhihui Li Yanan Li Xiwu Li Yongan Zhang Baiqing Xiong 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,11:0
8Controls on the Gas Hydrate Occurrence in Lower Slope to Basin-Floor,Northeastern Bay of Bengal显示文摘High resolution seismic data and newly acquired logging data reveal the presence of gas hydrates in the deep-water area in the northeastern Bay of Bengal.Bottom Simulating Reflectors(BSRs)appear at 430 ms beneath the seafloor,with the features of typical gas hydrates reported elsewhere except for some discontinuity.The BSR distribution is closely related to the position of anticline structures and turbidite channels.Anticlines provide conduits for the upward migration of gases from deeper intervals,while the turbidite sands within channels act as reservoirs for gas hydrate accumulation.High sedimentation rates in the Bengal Fan were ge-nerally favorable to produce a great amount of methane gas,providing favorable preconditions for the formation of gas hydrates.The discovery of gases in adjacent area indicates the contribution of the biogenic gas to the formation of gas hydrates.Meanwhile,seismic sections provide the evidence for the potential thermogenic gas kitchen in deep intervals.The anticline structures and the associated vertical fractures may constitute vertical fluid flowing conduits,which hydraulically connect the two deeper thermogenic petroleum systems(i.e.,rifting and Eocene-Oligocene source rocks)with the turbidite reservoirs and thus facilitate the fluid migration from the sources to the reservoirs,generating favorable conditions for gas-hydrate accumulation in such foreland setting.LU Yintao LUAN Xiwu SHI Boqing FAN Guozhang RAN Weimin XU Ning WANG Haiqiang SHAO Dali DING Liangbo WANG Xingxing 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,4:0
9High Quality Zinc Sulfide Epitaxial Layers Grown by Metalorganic Chemical Vapour Deposition显示文摘ZnS films were successfully grown by metalorganic chemical vapour deposition (MOCVD) at atmospheric pressure on (100)GaAs substrates.The deposition was carried out at substrate temperature between 280~550℃ with optimisation of reactor de-sign and growth conditions,the gas phase prereaction is effectively restrained.These epilayers exhibit high crystallographic quali-ty and reveal a mirror surface morphology,the peak halfwidths of X-ray diffraction patterns from their (400) faces are within0.06~0.09°.The epilayers grown on (111) GaAs,(110) Al2O3 and (100) Si are proved single crystalline feature as well.The op-tical and electrical characteristics of ZnS epilayers are measured by photoluminescence,cathodeluminescence,and Van der Pauwmethod.The results indicate that there are not a large number of deep centers that could be detected both at 77K and at roomtemperature,a broad CL peak around 2.897eV and 2.672eV are observed only under very strong excitation,their origin has notbeen examined.All epilayers present high resistivities up to 1013Ω·cm.Fan, Guanghan Liao, Qiwei Fan, Xiwu Zhang, Zhishun Li, Mei Zhang, Jiying 1989Rare Metals1989,9,2:0
