| 1 | Reaction kinetics modeling for lithium and cobalt recovery from spent lithium-ion batteries using acetic acid显示文摘Lithium and cobalt recovery from spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) is a major focus because of their increased production and usage. The conventional method for recycling spent LIBs using inorganic acids produces harmful byproducts. In this work, the leaching agent was substituted with a less expensive and more environmentally friendly alternative—acetic acid—and a mathematical model was developed to describe the kinetics of the recovery process. The variables used were the pH value, temperature, H_2O_2 concentration, and the solid-to-liquid(S/L) ratio. The mathematical model used was the shrinking core model, which was modified to accommodate an equilibrium reaction. The experimental results show that the rate of recovery of Li and Co over time was only affected by temperature. The leaching behaviors of Li and Co were found to oppose each other. An increase in temperature resulted in increased recovery of Li but decreased recovery of Co because of the product-favoring endothermic reaction of Li and the reactant-favoring exothermic reaction of Co. The product of Li has a lower entropy value than the reactant as a free-moving ion, whereas the product of Co leaching has a higher entropy value as a stiff crystal complex. | 2 | An overview of 10-year observation of the South China Sea branch of the Pacific to Indian Ocean throughflow at the Karimata Strait显示文摘Besides the Indonesian throughflow(ITF), the South China Sea throughflow(SCSTF) also contributes to the water transport from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean. However, this South China Sea(SCS) branch at the Karimata Strait is poorly observed until 2007, even though its importance has been suggested by numerical studies for decades. In this paper, we review the nearly 10-year field measurement in the Karimata Strait by the execution of the projects of 'SCS-Indonesian Seas Transport/Exchange(SITE) and Impacts on Seasonal Fish Migration' and 'The Transport, Internal Waves and Mixing in the Indonesian Throughflow regions(TIMIT) and Impacts on Marine Ecosystem', which extend the observations from the western Indonesian seas to the east to include the main channels of the ITF, is introduced. | 3 | 生态型超高韧性水泥基复合材料力学性能试验研究显示文摘利用建筑垃圾再生砖粉制备生态型超高韧性水泥基复合材料(ECC),研究了再生砖粉取代率对生态型ECC抗压、抗折、弯曲及拉伸性能的影响。结果表明:生态型ECC的抗折、抗压强度均低于基准组,且随着再生砖粉取代率的增加总体呈降低趋势。抗弯试验中,基准组的开裂强度和抗弯强度均最高,生态型ECC的开裂强度均低于基准组;再生砖粉取代率为100%时,生态型ECC的弯曲性能最佳,开裂挠度和极限挠度较基准组分别提高了166.7%和38.0%。单轴拉伸试验中,随着再生砖粉取代率的增加,ECC的开裂应力逐渐降低;再生砖粉取代率为100%时,ECC的拉伸性能最佳,开裂应变和极限应变较基准组分别提高了250.7%和54.9%。 | 元成方 Haris Setiawan 楚留声 程站起 李春跃 | 2021 | 新型建筑材料2021，48，6： | 4 |
| 4 | Hernia mesh prevent dislocation after wide excision and reconstruction of giant cell tumor distal radius显示文摘Giant cell tumor(GCT) remains as major health problem. GCT which located at the lower end of the radius tends to be more aggressive. Wide excision and reconstruction of the wrist in stage 3 of distal radius GCT lesion is an optimal modality to prevent tumor recurrence. However, dislocation often occurs as its complication. We are reporting patient with GCT of distal radius treated with wide excision and reconstruction using nonvascularized fibular graft and the addition of hernia mesh. Circumferential non-absorbable polypropylene hernia mesh was applied, covered radioulnar joint and volar aspect of radius, and served as additional support to prevent dislocation. During five years and two months of follow-up, we found no dislocation in our patient. Furthermore, good functional outcome was obtained.
