| 1 | Temperature-gradient induced microstructure evolution in heat-affected zone of electron beam welded Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy显示文摘The heat-affected zone(HAZ) of electron beam welded(EBW) joint normally undergoes a unique heat-treating process consisting of rapid temperature rising and dropping stages, resulting in temperature-gradient in HAZ as a function of the distance to fusion zone(FZ). In the current work,microstructure, elements distribution and crystallographic orientation of three parts(near base material(BM) zone, mid-HAZ and near-FZ) in the HAZ of Ti-6Al-4V alloy were systematically investigated. The microstructure observation revealed that the microstructural variation from near-BM to near-FZ included the reduction of primary α(αp) grains, the increase of transformed β structure(βt) and the formation of various α structures. The rim-α, dendritic α and abnormal secondary α(αs) colonies formed in the mid-HAZ, while the 'ghost' structures grew in the near-FZ respectively. The electron probe microanalyzer(EPMA) and electron back-scattered diffraction(EBSD) technologies were employed to evaluate the elements diffusion and texture evolution during the unique thermal process of welding. The formation of the various α structures in the HAZ were discussed based on the EPMA and EBSD results. | 3 | Entrapping multifunctional dendritic nanoparticles into a hydrogel for local therapeutic delivery and synergetic immunochemotherapy显示文摘Developing multifunctional nanoparticles to support new therapy models is apromising and challenging task to address the current dilemma on antitumortreatment. Herein, we incorporated multifunctional dendritic nanoparticles intoa poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide)-poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(D,Lqactide-co-glycolide)(PLGA-PEG-PLGA) triblock copolymers thermosensitive injectable hydrogelmatrix to construct a localized drug delivery system for combining chemotherapyand immunotherapy. The multifunctional dendritic nanoparticles were designedwith following expectations: i, Dendritic scaffolds provide a hydrophobic interiorto load the anticancer drug, doxorubicin (DOX), for chemotherapy; and ii,dendritic scaffolds are used to build arginine-rich molecules to provide theinducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) substrate, L-Arg, to M1 macrophages,which can produce the cytotoxic substance nitric oxide (NO) and subsequentlyinduce tumor cell destruction through immunotherapy. It is noteworthy that thedendritic nanoparticles-in-hydrogel delivery system is able to gel at physiologicaltemperature and serves as a warehouse for the sustained release of the drug.Ultimately, this system showed great efficacy in treating 4T1 cells-xenograftedBALB/C mice (86.62% tumor growth inhibition). | 4 | Fatigue crack tip plastic zone ofα+βtitanium alloy with Widmanstatten microstructure显示文摘The recent studies had focused on the fatigue crack propagation behaviors of α+β titanium alloys with Widmanstatten microstructure. The fascinated interest of this type of microstructure is due to the superior fatigue crack propagation resistance and fracture toughness as compared to other microstructures,which was believed to be related to the fatigue crack tip plastic zone(CTPZ). In this study, the plastic deformation in fatigue CTPZ of Ti-6 A1-4 V titanium alloy with Widmanstatten microstructure was characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM) and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD). The results showed that large-scale slipping and deformation twinning were generated in fatigue CTPZ due to the crystallographic feature of the Widmanstatten microstructure. The activation of twinning was related to the rank of Schmid factor(SF) and the diversity of twin variants developing behaviors reflected the influence of SF rank. The sizes of CTPZ under different stress intensity factors(K) were examined by the white-light coherence method, and the results revealed that the range of the plastic zone is enlarged with the increasing K(or crack length), while the plastic strain decreased rapidly with the increasing distance from the crack surface. The laser system, operating with typical pulse durations of 3–5 ns and beam diameter 60 mm, employs a sequence of successive rod amplifiers to achieve 100-J-level energy at 1053 nm at3 ns. The frequency conversion can provide energy of 50-J level at 351 nm. | 7 | Different role of second phase in the micro-galvanic corrosion of WE43 Mg alloy in NaCl and Na_(2)SO_(4) solution显示文摘Effect of the second phase in the micro-galvanic corrosion of a commercial Mg alloy containing rare earth elements, cast WE43 alloy,was investigated in 0.6 M NaCl solution and 0.6 M Na_(2)SO_(4)solution by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) observations, scanning Kelvin probe force microscopy(SKPFM) analysis, hydrogen evolution, weight loss measurement, and electrochemical techniques. It is confirmed that the second phase of cast WE43 alloy is more active than Mg matrix and exhibits an anodic role in the micro-galvanic corrosion with α-Mg matrix as cathode and dissolves preferentially in Na_(2)SO_(4)solution, in contrast to the situation in NaCl solution. | 12 | Advances in xylooligosaccharides from grain byproducts:Extraction and prebiotic effects显示文摘Xylooligosaccharides(XOS)are mainly derived from lignocellulosic materials,such as rice husk,corn cobs,straw,wheat bran,wheat straw and other grain by-products.XOS have become one of the functional oligosaccharides of great concern at home and abroad due to their beneficial functional properties,such as low calorie,high stability,poor digestibility and high performance in proliferating probiotics.At present,the XOS extraction methods from grain byproducts mainly include autohydrolysis,acidolysis and enzymolysis.Among them,autohydrolysis has high requirements for equipment for achieving higher extraction rate and higher purity of products;and acidolysis can cause environmental pollution due to the usage of harmful reagents.Enzymolysis is the most common method for the production of XOS because of its high convenience,high efficiency and no pollution;and the widely used enzyme is the xylanase from Aspergillus niger.Current researches have showed that XOS can be utilized by probiotics such as Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus to exert prebiotic effects,such as optimizing intestinal flora,promoting intestinal health,improving intestinal barrier,enhancing immune function,improving antioxidant capacity and so on.However,XOS extracted from the grain byproducts contain a large amount of impurities,which limits their industrial application and makes it dif-ficult to control the product quality.Therefore,XOS refining,separation and purification has become the key to their subsequent industrial application.This paper reviewed the current status of XOS extraction technologies from various grain by-products,and also summarized the prebiotic effect of XOS to provide reference for industrial production of XOS and its wide application in prebiotics market,thereby facilitating utilization and development of grain byproducts. | Feng Yan Shuangqi Tian Hu Chen Sensen Gao Xianyou Dong Ke Du | 2022 | Grain & Oil Science and Technology2022,5,2: | 1 |
