| 1 | Individualization of chronic hepatitis C treatment according to the host characteristics显示文摘Hepatitis C virus(HCV)infection is a global health problem that affects more than 170 million people worldwide.It is a major cause of cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma,making the virus the most common cause of liver failure and transplantation.The standardof-care treatment for chronic hepatitis C(CHC)has been changed during the last decade and direct acting antiviral drugs have already been used.Besides,understanding of the pathogenesis of CHC has evolved rapidly during the last years and now several host factors are known to affect the natural history and response to treatment.Recent genome-wide association studies have shown the important role of interleukin-28B and inosine triphosphatase in HCV infection.The present review article attempts to summarize the current knowledge on the role of host factors towards individualization of HCV treatment. | Nikolaos K Gatselis Kalliopi Zachou Asterios Saitis Maria Samara George N Dalekos | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,11: | 2 |

| 8 | Photodegradation and Removal of Diclofenac by the Green Alga Nannochloropsis oculata显示文摘The emerging contaminants(ECs)are organic compounds including pharmaceuticals.These products are consumed in large quantities,favoring their continuous entrance to the environment and affecting the health of living beings.Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with analgesic properties of prolonged release.It is the commonest postoperative analgesic,and it is highly consumed without prescription.In recent years,the capability of microalgae to remove pharmaceuticals in water has been tested as a promising tool.In this work,the removal efficiency of diclofenac(16µg/mL)by the microalga Nannochloropsis oculata CCAP 186/7 was evaluated.The major nutrient concentrations in Bold’s Basal Medium were modified(nitrogen and carbon:50 and 100%of their original concentration)to know their effect in the removal of diclofenac.Drug degradation by light was also evaluated.The maximum removal capacity of diclofenac in the medium was 68.8%.The percentage of diclofenac adsorbed on the cell wall was between 6 and 12.7%.Around 23.6%of diclofenac was degraded by light after 18 days.N.oculata did not show growth inhibition due to the presence of diclofenac.The results obtained point to the promissory application of N.oculata as a bioremediation system for diclofenac removal. | Danaé Samara Sánchez-Sandoval Omar González-Ortega Mara Fernanda Navarro-Martínez Juan Marcos Castro-Tapia Ramón Fernando García de la Cruz Ruth Elena Soria-Guerra | 2021 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,5: | 1 |
