1Microsurgical resection of craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle via an improved transventricular approach显示文摘Background Craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle is difficult to treat and its therapeutic regimens and operative approaches have been controversial. This study was undertaken to probe indications for microsurgical resection of craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle via an improved transventricular approach, its surgical procedures and therapeutic effects, and prevention of postoperative complications.Methods Fifty-one patients with craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle were treated from January 2000 to October 2004 by an improved transventricular approach for removing the tumor via the interventricular foramen,the intermedius of the septum pellucidum or choroid fissure. Symptoms and signs of the patients, and results of imaging, operation, and follow-up were analyzed. Results Of the 51 patients who had received the improved transventricular resection, 4 underwent a combined approach with an entrance of the pterion. Forty patients (78.43%) underwent total resection and others subtotal resection, without an operative death. Epileptic seizures were found in 3 patients (5.88%) and subdural effusion in the operative field in 4 (7.84%). All patients showed good general conditions after operation, and follow-up for an average of 27.52 months showed relapse of the tumour in 8 patients (15.69%).Conclusions Microsurgical resection of craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle by an improved transventricular approach has advantages of operative safety and efficacy, lower mortality and disability, and less complications.XUJian-guo YOUChao CAIBo-wen JIANGShu SUNHong GUOFu-you YANGYong-bo WUBo 2005Chinese Medical Journal2005,,10:6
2Multiscale MRF-based Texture Segmentation of SAR Image显示文摘We propose a multiscale Bayesian segmentation algorithm for SAR image in this paper. A hierarchical two-level Markov random field (MRF) is applied to represent both texture and region label over the wavelet lattice. The high level uses an isotropic Multi-level logistic (MLL) random field to characterize the blob-like region formation process at each scale and the interscale dependencies over the corresponding multiresolution region. At lower level a novel Causal Gaussian autoregressive (CGAR) process is proposed to describe the fill-in of multiresolution region. Once the multiscale double MRFs model is established, in term of Sequential maximum a posteriori (SMAP), model parameter estimate and region segmentation are performed alternately from coarse to fine scale. 3Synthetic Aperture Radar Raw Signals Simulation of Extended Scenes显示文摘A synthetic aperture radar (SAR) raw signal simulation algorithm for extended scenes is presented. This algorithm is based on the SAR two\|dimensional system transform function (STF). To cope with range\|variant nature of SAR STF and increase the speed of this algorithm, new formulas for range\|variant phase corrections in range\|Doppler (RD) domain are developed. In this way, many azimuth lines can be simulated with the same SAR STF. It only needs two\|dimensional fast Fourier transform code and complex multiplications. Comparing with time\|domain simulation algorithm, it is very simple and thus efficient. 4Interleaver Design Method for Turbo Codes Based on Genetic Algorithm显示文摘This paper describes a new interleaver construction technique for turbo code. The technique searches as much as possible pseudo\|random interleaving patterns under a certain condition using genetic algorithms(GAs). The new interleavers have the superiority of the S\|random interleavers and this interleaver construction technique can reduce the time taken to generate pseudo\|random interleaving patterns under a certain condition. The results obtained indicate that the new interleavers yield an equal to or better performance than the S-random interleavers. 5Solid-phase Synthesis of Acyl-plasminogen-Streptokinase Activator Composite(APSAC) and Its Thrombolytic Properties显示文摘The dialysis method has been traditionally used for the conversion of native human plasminogen(Glu-Hpg) to lys-plasminogen(Lys-Hpg). Here is described a solid-phase synthesis method for the preparation of an acyl-plasminogen-streptokinase activator complex(APSAC) from Lys-Hpg, streptokinase(SK) and chemical modification (agent(4-amidinophenyl-4′-aminobenzoate hydrochloride)) with the L-lysine-Sepharose 4B Column as the carrier. The new method significantly increases the product yield and purity over the liquid-phase methods. 7Statistical multiresolution analysis in amplitude- frequency domain显示文摘A concept of statistical multiresolution analysis in amplitude-frequency domain is proposed, which is to employ the wavelet transform on the statistical character of a signal in amplitude domain. In terms of the theorem of generalized ergodicity, an algorithm to estimate the transform coefficients based on the amplitude statistical multiresolution analysis (AMA) is presented. 12Design and Implementation of a Wideband HF Channel Simulator显示文摘The paper presents a wideband high frequency (HF) channel simulator. The simulation consists of a software simulation of a direct-sequence spread-spectrum (DSSS) HF system with RAKE receiver. The validity of the HF channel simulator is demonstrated by the analysis of the scattering function and example results of the simulator. The performance of DS system under HF channel and noise are also presented. 14Application of transmit diversity for improved robust watermarking显示文摘Many common multimedia signal processing, including cropping, filtering, and perceptual coding, make watermark signal fading-like modification. A scheme that applies transmit diversity technique to improve robustness of digital watermarking is presented. First, the scheme decomposes the original image using wavelet pyramid algorithm and chooses the middle-frequency band for transmission channel that the watermark will be embedded into. Then the watermark is pseudo-randomly permuted. The scheme makes use of space-time coding and differential detection technique to embed and extract watermark. The extracting process has access to neither the original image nor channel state information. 15Apoptosis of human leukemic HL-60 cells induced to differentiate by treatment with RA or DMSO显示文摘In present study we studied the effect of all-trans retinoic acid(ATRA) and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) on the induction of apoptosis in HL-60 cell line. Based on morphological changes by Hochest 33342 staining and identification of internucleosomal DNA cleavage by gel electrophoresis, we observed aberrant nuclear chromatin eondensation and ladder-like pattern of DNA degradation. Using Flow Cytometric method, we found sub-G1 peak in RA-treated HL-60 cells starting 5 to 6 d after the initiation of the treatment. However, such an obvious apoptotic peak was not identified in DMSO-differentiated cells. 16Endoscopic sinus surgery plays an essential role in systematic treatment of odontogenic maxillary sinusitis显示文摘Purpose:Odontogenic maxillary sinusitis(OMS)is frequently encountered in otorhinolaryngologists'clinical practice.Endoscopic sinus surgery(ESS)instead of surgeries in intraoral approach has been widely applied among OMS.However appropriate treatments due to the causes of the OMS as well as the outcome have been less investigated,meanwhile the inherent incidence of OMS may be still on the rise.This study was designed to conclude our systematic treatment within follow-up examination.Materials and methods:In this retrospective study patients confirmed diagnosis of OMS who had systematic follow-up examinations were analyzed.Medical histories of otorhinolaryngologists and dentists were reviewed as well as preoperative examination protocols.Result:Consecutive 29 Patients(10 women,19 men)were included.41.4%(12/29)patients experienced facial pain as the most frequent symptom.69.0%(20/29)patients admitted firstly to otorhinolaryngologists,13 patients were treated with surgical procedure while 7 patients lacking of surgical indication were transferred to dentists.31.0%(9/29)patients were advised by dentist for being suspected of maxillary sinusitis,including 7 patients suffered from sinonasal complications of dental treatment(SCDT).Conventional dental treatment(root planning,root end surgery,extraction)was the most common cause.Follow up for a mean of 15.1(ranges from 6 to 96)months showed 29 patients maintaining open maxillary ostium on endoscopic examination or improving on CT except recurrence in one patient with SCDT.Conclusion:Patients should be inspected by dentists carefully when the patient has symptoms rather than sinusitis-like symptoms,the possibility of OMS should always be considered.Dental examination can help to determine whether a maxillary sinusitis has a dental origin,periodontitis and odontogenic radicular cysts still are the most common causes comparing with iatrogenic factors.Patients treated with ESS showed better tolerance and fewer postsurgical complications.Not all patients with OMS including SDCT need definitely surgery whether ESS or intraoral approach,removing dental focus followed with antibiotics would be optimistic choice.Jing Ye Sunhong Hu Minxia Bian Jie Yuan Jianguo Tang 2018Laparoscopic, Endoscopic and Robotic Surgery2018,1,1:0
17Comparison of endoscopic tympanoplasty to microscopic tympanoplasty in anterior tympanic membrane perforation显示文摘Objective:Tympanoplasty aims to eradicate lesions and restore middle ear function in chronic otitis media.This study was conducted to compare the surgical and functional outcomes of endoscopic tympanoplasty(ET)and microscopic tympanoplasty(MT)in anterior tympanic membrane perforation.Methods:The clinical data of 42 patients undergoing tympanoplasty with anterior quadrants tympanic membrane perforation between January 2018 and July 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.Patients were classified into the ET group(n?22)or the MT group(n?20).Patients’demographics,clinical characteristics,surgical and functional outcomes were assessed between the two groups.Results:External auditory canal widening was not necessary in the ET group and was performed in 55.0%of patients in the MT group.The operation time of the ET group was significantly shorter than that of the MT group(61.23±11.48 min vs.78.65±11.79 min,p=0.034).The pain scale score of the ET group at 24 hours after surgery was significantly lower than that of the MT group(0.86±0.64 vs.2.40±1.14,p=0.029).The grafting success rate was 95.5%(21/22)in the ET group and 95.0%(19/20)in the MT group.In the ET group,the pre-and postoperative air-bone gap were 35.60±8.43 dB and 18.79±5.80 dB,respectively,which was a significant improvement(p=0.016).The respective values in the MT group(33.33±7.88 dB and 19.58±6.24 dB)also represented a significant improvement(p=0.004).Conclusion:ET is more beneficial for patients with anterior tympanic membrane perforations,which helps minimize the surgical trauma and reduces operation time and postoperative pain.Jingna Zhang Sunhong Hu 2020Laparoscopic, Endoscopic and Robotic Surgery2020,3,3:0

Using matrix inversion lemma and Cholesky decomposition, a lowcomplexity implementation of JG equalizer is also presented. 20Research on Digital Watermark Using Pre-Processing Technology显示文摘We have realized a watermark embedding system based on audio perceptual masking and brought forward a watermark detection system using pre\|processing technology. We can detect watermark from watermarked audio without original audio by using this method.
