1Thermal physical properties and key influence factors of phase change emulsion显示文摘Latent functionally thermal fluids (LFTF) are a novel kind of heat storage and heat transfer fluids that in- clude phase change microcapsule slurry and phase change emulsion (PCE). They have much greater apparent specific heats and higher heat transfer abilities in the phase change temperature range than conventional single-phase heat transfer fluids such as water. Thus they are advantageous in the field of the convective heat transfer enhancement and energy transport. In this paper, some thermal physical prop- erties such as viscosity, fusion heat and apparent specific heat (cp) are measured, and the influences of some factors (such as selection of surfactants, preparation method, temperature, mixing ratio of surfactants and mass concentration of phase change material) on them are discussed. The study shows that: 1) the viscosity of the PCE prepared in the present work is lower than that reported in the literature; 2) its ap- parent specific heat value for the phase change temperature region is high and proportionally increases with the concentration of phase change material.XUHui YANGRui ZHANGYinping HUANGZhe LINJia WANGXin 2005Chinese Science Bulletin2005,50,1:9
2Cd uptake in rice cultivars treated with organic acids and EDTA显示文摘A pot experiment was conducted to examine the activity of antioxidant enzymes, the content of malondialdehyde (MDA), proline and protein, and Cd uptake in different rice cultivars exposed to Cd (0, 1 and 5 mg/kg) in the presence of organic acids and ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA). The results showed the increase in activity of dismutase (SOD), contents of proline and protein but a decline in activities of peroxidase (POD) and catalase (CAT), and MDA content for cultivars Xiushui63 and IIyou527. The resistance to Cd was higher in Xiushui63 than that in IIyou527 under the same Cd treatment. Cadmium contents in grain, straw and roots of both cultivars were markedly reduced in the presence of organic acids and EDTA. 3Tapering-induced enhancement of light extraction efficiency of nanowire deep ultraviolet LED by theoretical simulations显示文摘A nanowire(NW) structure provides an alternative scheme for deep ultraviolet light emitting diodes(DUV-LEDs)that promises high material quality and better light extraction efficiency(LEE). In this report, we investigate the influence of the tapering angle of closely packed Al Ga N NWs, which is found to exist naturally in molecular beam epitaxy(MBE) grown NW structures, on the LEE of NW DUV-LEDs. It is observed that, by having a small tapering angle, the vertical extraction is greatly enhanced for both transverse magnetic(TM) and transverse electric(TE) polarizations. Most notably, the vertical extraction of TM emission increased from 4.8% to 24.3%,which makes the LEE reasonably large to achieve high-performance DUV-LEDs. This is because the breaking of symmetry in the vertical direction changes the propagation of the light significantly to allow more coupling into radiation modes. Finally, we introduce errors to the NW positions to show the advantages of the tapered NW structures can be projected to random closely packed NW arrays. 4Cloning of Small Heat-shock Protein (sHSP) Gene from Sugarcaneand Analysis of Its Expression under Drought Stress显示文摘The present experiment was conducted to clone small heat-shock protein(sHSP)in sugarcane to explore mechanism of stress resistance in sugarcane.sHSP was amplified using RT-PCR from sugarcane leaves,the characteristics of the deduced protein wereanalyzed using bioinformatics software,and its expression was analyzed using quantitative real-time PCR.The results showed that the cDNA of HSPgene obtained by RT-PCR which was 659 bp in full length with a 459 bp open reading frame,encodes a putative sHSP protein with 152 amino acids.Homology comparison between the amino acid sequences of the sHSP protein and 14 different species indicated that the sHSP protein had 69%to 96%identity in amino acid sequence with other plants.The deduced amino acid sequence not only contained a typical sHSPdomain,but also was very conservative.The results of quantitative real-time PCR analysis showed that the mRNA of sHSPdecreased initially and then increased with time under drought stress.These results suggested that sHSPis expressed under induction of drought stress,anddrought resistance in sugarcane is enhanced by Si application.Panxia LIANG Jiangtao ZHOU Xing HUANG Yangrui LI 2017Agricultural Biotechnology2017,6,2:2
5Brillouin scattering spectrum for liquid detection and applications in oceanography显示文摘The Brillouin scattering spectrum has been used to investigate the properties of a liquid medium.Here,we propose an improved method based on the double-edge technique to obtain the Brillouin spectrum of a liquid.We calculated the transmission ratios and deduced the Brillouin shift and linewidth to construct the Brillouin spectrum by extracting the Brillouin edge signal through filtered double-edge data.We built a detection system to test the performance of this method and measured the Brillouin spectrum for distilled water at different temperatures and compared it with the theoretical prediction.The observed difference between the experimental and theoretical values for Brillouin shift and linewidth is less than 4.3 MHz and 3.2 MHz,respectively.Moreover,based on the double-edge technique,the accuracy of the extracted temperatures and salinity is approximately 0.1°C and 0.5‰,respectively,indicating significant potential for application in water detection and oceanography.Yuanqing Wang Jinghao Zhang Yongchao Zheng Yangrui Xu Jiaqi Xu Jiao Jiao Yun Su Hai-Feng Lü Kun Liang 2023Opto-Electronic Advances2023,6,1:2

7Combustion study with synchrotron radiation single- photon ionization technique显示文摘Here we report a combustion endstation at National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory (NSRL) and some primary experimental results. Synchrotron radiation can provide the tunable vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) photon with the high intensity and the good collimation. VUV photoioni-zation is a single-photon ionization process. Combined with molecular-beam mass spectrometry (MBMS), the VUV single-photon ionization can be applied to detect the combustion products, especially the intermediates and free radicals produced from combustion process. 11Energy aware hierarchical cluster-based routing protocol for WSNs显示文摘Wireless sensor networks(WSNs) are emerging as essential and popular ways of providing pervasive computing environments for various applications. Unbalanced energy consumption is an inherent problem in WSNs, characterized by multi-hop routing and a many-to-one traffic pattern. This uneven energy dissipation can significantly reduce network lifetime. In multi-hop sensor networks, information obtained by the monitoring nodes need to be routed to the sinks, the energy consumption rate per unit information transmission depends on the choice of the next hop node. In an energy-aware routing approach, most proposed algorithms aim at minimizing the total energy consumption or maximizing network lifetime. In this paper, we propose a novel energy aware hierarchical cluster-based(NEAHC) routing protocol with two goals: minimizing the total energy consumption and ensuring fairness of energy consumption between nodes. We model the relay node choosing problem as a nonlinear programming problem and use the property of convex function to find the optimal solution. 16Polyphenol based hybrid nano-aggregates modified collagen fibers of biological valve leaflets to achieve enhanced mechanical,anticoagulation and anti-calcification properties显示文摘Glutaraldehyde(Glut)-crosslinked porcine pericardium and bovine pericardium are mainly consisted of collagen and widely used for the preparation of heterogenous bioprosthetic heart valves(BHV),which play an important role in the replacement therapy of severe valvular heart disease,while their durability is limited by degeneration due to calcification,thrombus,endothelialization difficulty and prosthetic valve endocarditis.Herein,we develop a novel BHV,namely,TPly-BP,based on natural tannic acid and polylysine to improve the durability of Glut crosslinked bovine pericardium(Glut-BP).Impressively,tannic acid and polylysine could form nanoaggregates via multiple hydrogen bonds and covalent bonds,and the introduction of nanoaggregates not only improved the mechanical properties and collagen stability but also endowed TPly-BP with good biocompatibility and hemocompatibility.Compared to Glut-BP,TPly-BP showed significantly reduced cytotoxicity,improved endothelial cell adhesion,a low hemolysis ratio and obviously reduced platelet adhesion.Importantly,TPly-BP exhibited great antibacterial and in vivo anti-calcification ability,which was expected to improve the in vivo durability of BHVs.These results suggested that TPly-BP would be a potential candidate for BHV.Shufen Li Shiying Lang Zhiqian Chen Jingruo Chen Weihua Zhuang Yangrui Du Yawen Yao Gongyan Liu Mao Chen 2022Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2022,4,1:0
17Estimation of Production Amount of Livestock and Poultry Manure and Environmental Impact Assessment in Guangxi显示文摘This study was intended to estimate production of major livestock and poultry manure and contaminant content,and find out current situation of manure pollution,so as to provide reference for pollution control of livestock and poultry breeding industry in Guangxi.Based on the related statistic data in 2010 and the excretion coefficient of different livestock and poultry,the manure and its contaminant production amount of main livestock and poultry in Guangxi were estimated.Then the annual livestock and poultry manure load of farmland and the loss of contaminant were also calculated to analyze the ecological pressure resulted from livestock and poultry breeding in Guangxi.Following results were obtained:in 2010,the production amount of the livestock and poultry manure in Guangxi was 9141.30×104tons,including nutrient TN42.07×104tons and TP 13.62×104tons;the annual livestock and poultry manure and N,P pure nutrient load of farmland was 21t/hm2,98kg/hm2,and 32 kg/hm2respectively;the production amount of manure contaminants was BOD5383.43×104tons,COD Cr435.42×104tons,and NH3-N 42.08×104tons;according to 30%loss rate,the loss amount of COD Cr and NH3-N was higher than the sum of industrial and life waste water.It was concluded that the livestock and poultry breeding industry had little impact on soil environment,but posed a grave threat to water environment.Qing LIAO Dongliang HUANG Zepu JIANG Guangpo WEI Panxia LIANG Yuning WANG Yangrui LI 2013Asian Agricultural Research2013,5,11:0
18Identification of Monitoring Organ in Bivalves for Early Warning of Paralytic Shellfish Toxins Accumulation显示文摘Bivalve farming plays a dominant role in mariculture in China.Paralytic shellfish toxins(PSTs)can be accumulated in bivalves and cause poisoning the consumers.A sensitive detection of PSTs can provide early warning to decrease poisoning events in bivalve consuming.PSTs are traditionally examined using the whole soft-tissues.However,PSTs accumulation varies dramatically in different tissues of bivalves.Some tough tissues/organs(such as mantle),which account for a large proportion of the total soft body,exhibit a lower accumulation of PSTs and make the toxin extraction time-and reagent-consuming,potentially decreasing the accuracy and sensitivity of PSTs monitoring in bivalves.To develop a sensitive and cost-effective approach for PSTs examination in massively farmed bivalves,we fed three commercially important bivalves,Yesso scallop Patinopecten yessoensis,Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas,and blue mussel Mytilus edulis with PSTs-producing dinoflagellate Alexandrium catenella,and detected PSTs concentration in different tissues.For all three bivalve species,the digestive gland accumulated much more PSTs than other tissues,and the digestive gland’s toxicity was significantly correlated with the PSTs toxicity of the whole soft-tissues,with r^(2)=0.94,0.92,and 0.94 for Yesso scallop,Pacific oyster,and blue mussel,respectively.When the toxicity of the whole soft-tissues reached 80μgSTXeq(100g)^(−1),the regulatory limit for commercial shellfish,the digestive gland’s toxicity reached 571.48,498.90,and 859.20μgSTXeq(100g)^(−1) in Yesso scallop,Pacific oyster,and blue mussel,respectively.Our results indicate that digestive gland can be used for the sensitive and cost-effective monitoring of PSTs in bivalves.MENG Deting SHI Jiaoxia LI Moli WEI Zhongcheng WANG Yangrui XU Yiqiang LI Yubo BAO Zhenmin HU Xiaoli 2023Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,1:0

20A Survey Report on Sugarcane Production in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2013显示文摘In order to fully understand sugarcane production in Guangxi in 2013,the sample survey combined with data collection and field survey was carried out in sugarcane production areas in Nanning,Hechi,Liuzhou,Chongzuo,Baise and Laibin from May 28 to June 36 in2013. It was found that the sugarcane growing area in Guangxi in 2013 declined compared with that in 2012; the rate of emergence remained the same as previous year,and as for the plant number of plant crop and ratoon crop per hectare,there was a decline of 4000 and 2000 seedlings respectively compared with the figure in 2012; borer damage rate declined on the whole while the incidence of sugarcane smut increased.Due to the growth in the cost of planting,the growers were less enthusiastic for management.
