1Terrestrial carbon sinks in China and around the world and their contribution to carbon neutrality显示文摘Enhancing the terrestrial ecosystem carbon sink(referred to as terrestrial C sink) is an important way to slow down the continuous increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2)) concentration and to achieve carbon neutrality target.To better understand the characteristics of terrestrial C sinks and their contribution to carbon neutrality,this review summarizes major progress in terrestrial C budget researches during the past decades,clarifies spatial patterns and drivers of terrestrial C sources and sinks in China and around the world,and examines the role of terrestrial C sinks in achieving carbon neutrality target.According to recent studies,the global terrestrial C sink has been increasing from a source of (-0.2±0.9) Pg C yr^(-1)(1 Pg=1015g)in the 1960s to a sink of (1.9±1.1) Pg C yr^(-1) in the 2010s.By synthesizing the published data,we estimate terrestrial C sink of 0.20–0.25 Pg C yr^(-1) in China during the past decades,and predict it to be 0.15–0.52 Pg C yr^(-1) by 2060.The terrestrial C sinks are mainly located in the mid-and high latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere,while tropical regions act as a weak C sink or source.The C balance differs much among ecosystem types:forest is the major C sink;shrubland,wetland and farmland soil act as C sinks;and whether the grassland functions as C sink or source remains unclear.Desert might be a C sink,but the magnitude and the associated mechanisms are still controversial.Elevated atmospheric CO_(2) concentration,nitrogen deposition,climate change,and land cover change are the main drivers of terrestrial C sinks,while other factors such as fires and aerosols would also affect ecosystem C balance.The driving factors of terrestrial C sink differ among regions.Elevated CO_(2) concentration and climate change are major drivers of the C sinks in North America and Europe,while afforestation and ecological restoration are additionally important forcing factors of terrestrial C sinks in China.For future studies,we recommend the necessity for intensive and long-term ecosystem C monitoring over broad geographic scale to improve terrestrial biosphere models for accurately evaluating terrestrial C budget and its dynamics under various climate change and policy scenarios.Yuanhe Yang Yue Shi Wenjuan Sun Jinfeng Chang Jianxiao Zhu Leiyi Chen Xin Wang Yanpei Guo Hongtu Zhang Lingfei Yu Shuqing Zhao Kang Xu Jiangling Zhu Haihua Shen Yuanyuan Wang Yunfeng Peng Xia Zhao Xiangping Wang Huifeng Hu Shiping Chen Mei Huang Xuefa Wen Shaopeng Wang Biao Zhu Shuli Niu Zhiyao Tang Lingli Liu Jingyun Fang 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,5:32

3Optimal full-order filtering for discrete-time systems with random measurement delays and multiple packet dropouts显示文摘This paper is concerned with the estimation problem for discrete-time stochastic linear systems with possible single unit delay and multiple packet dropouts.Based on a proposed uncertain model in data transmission,an optimal full-order filter for the state of the system is presented,which is shown to be of the form of employing the received outputs at the current and last time instants.The solution to the optimal filter is given in terms of a Riccati difference equation governed by two binary random variables.The optimal filter is reduced to the standard Kalman filter when there are no random delays and packet dropouts.The steady-state filter is also investigated.A sufficient condition for the existence of the steady-state filter is given.The asymptotic stability of the optimal filter is analyzed.Shuli SUN Lihua XIE Wendong XIAO 2010控制理论与应用(英文版)2010,8,1:4
4Design of unballasted track bridges on Beijing——Tianjin intercity railway显示文摘Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway is the first newly-built passenger dedicated line with operating speed of 350 km/h in our country. During design,new ideas of bridge construction were carried out to ensure the requirements of safety,comfort and stability of the train under high-speed condition. At the same time,concepts of environmental adaptability,service to transportation and comprehensive benefits were observed. On the whole line,long-bridge schemes were adopted and the most advanced technologies of unballasted track were utilized on bridges,the length of which accounts for 87.7 % of the total line. 5Divergent biomass partitioning to aboveground and belowground across forests in China显示文摘Aims Belowground to aboveground biomass(BGB/AGB)ratio is a highly valued parameter of the terrestrial carbon cycle and productivity.However,it remains far from clear whether plant biomass partition-ing to aboveground and belowground is isometric(equal partition-ing)or allometric(unequal partitioning)at community levels and what factors are necessary in order to regulate the partitioning.This study aimed to comprehensively find out the patterns of biomass partitioning and their regulatory factors across forests in China.Methods The data of AGB and BGB were compiled from 1542 samples for communities across forests in China.Standardized major axis regression was conducted to examine whether AGB and BGB were allocated isometrically or allometrically at a community level.Redundancy analysis was used to analyze the relationships of BGB/AGB ratio with climatic factors and soil properties.Important Findings We found that the slopes of the relationship between logAGB and logBGB were not always comparable to 1.0(isometric allocation)at community levels,including primary forest,secondary forest,and planted forest.Meanwhile,samples in clay,loam,and sand soil types also presented the same phenomenon.Furthermore,the radically different allocations of AGB and BGB were found in northern and southern China.Environmental factors totally explained 3.86%of the variations in the BGB/AGB ratio at the community level,which include the mean annual precipitation,mean annual temperature,potential water deficit index,soil car-bon content,soil nitrogen content,soil clay,soil loam,soil sand,soil pH,and soil bulk density.In addition,the environmental fac-tors also have effects on the BGB/AGB ratio in other categories.The patterns revealed in this study are helpful for better under-standing biomass partitioning and spreading the carbon circle models.Jian Sun Shuli Niu Jinniu Wang 2018Journal of Plant Ecology2018,11,3:3
6Optimal linear estimators for systems with random measurement delays显示文摘This paper is concerned with the optimal linear estimation problem for linear discrete-time stochastic systems with random measurement delays. A new model that describes the random delays is constructed where possible the largest delay is bounded. Based on this new model, the optimal linear estimators including filter, predictor and smoother are developed via an innovation analysis approach. The estimators are recursively computed in terms of the solutions of a Riccati difference equation and a Lyapunov difference equation. The steady-state estimators are also investigated. A sufficient condition for the convergence of the optimal linear estimators is given. 7KLF7 promotes preadipocyte proliferation via activation of the Akt signaling pathway by Cis-regulating CDKN3显示文摘Krüppel-like transcription factor 7(KLF7)promotes preadipocyte proliferation;however,its target gene in this process has not yet been identified.Using KLF7 ChIP-seq analysis,we previously showed that a KLF7-binding peak is present upstream of the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 3 gene(CDKN3)in chicken preadipocytes.In the present study,we identify CDKN3 as a target gene of KLF7 that mediates the effects of KLF7 on preadipocyte proliferation.Furthermore,5′-truncating mutation analysis shows that the minimal promoter is located between nt–160 and nt–7(relative to the translation initiation codon ATG)of CDKN3.KLF7 overexpression increases CDKN3 promoter activity in the DF-1 and immortalized chicken preadipocyte(ICP1)cell lines.Deletion of the putative binding site of KLF7 abolishes the promotive effect of KLF7 overexpression on CDKN3 promoter activity.Moreover,CDKN3 knockdown and overexpression assays reveal that CDKN3 enhances ICP1 cell proliferation.Flow cytometry analysis shows that CDKN3 accelerates the G1/S transition.Furthermore,we find that KLF7 promotes ICP1 cell proliferation via Akt phosphorylation by regulating CDKN3.Taken together,our results suggest that KLF7 promotes preadipocyte proliferation by activating the Akt signaling pathway by cis-regulating CDKN3,thus driving the G1/S transition.Ziqiu Jia Zhao Jin Shuli Shao Hu Xu Wen Li Mahmood Khan Weiyu Wang Weiwei Zhang Yingning Sun 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,10:2

20Mesh Deformation Method Based on Mean Value Coordinates Interpolation显示文摘Mesh deformation technique is widely used in many application fields, and has received a lot of attentions in recent years. This paper focuses on the methodology and algorithm of algebraic type mesh deformation for unstructured mesh in numerical discretization. To preserve mesh quality effectively, an algebraic approach for two and three dimensional unstructured mesh is developed based on mean value coordinates interpolation combined with node visibility analysis.The proposed approach firstly performs node visibility analysis to find out the visible boundary for each grid point to be moved, then evaluates the mean value coordinates of each grid point with respect to all vertices on its visible boundary. Thus the displacements of grid points can be calculated by interpolating the boundary movement by the mean value coordinates. Compared with other methods, the proposed method has good deformation capability and predictable computational cost, with no need to select parameters or functions. Applications of mesh deformation in different fields are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
