1Network Pharmacology-based Approaches Capture Essence of Chinese Herbal Medicines显示文摘Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), a crucial component of the current medical system, has been extensively used in clinical practice due to its valuable therapeutic efficacy, and its potentials as an important source of new pharmacophores. TCM is characterized by holistic theory, which emphasizes maintaining the balance of the patient's whole body using herbal formulae(fangji in Chinese) composed of mixtures of herbs with multiple bioactive ingredients. Because of the complex nature of these formulae, it is necessary to develop systematic methods to identify their bioactive ingredients and to clarify their mechanisms of action. With the rapid progress in bioinformatics, systems biology, and polypharmacology, 'network pharmacology', which shifts the 'one target, one drug' paradigm to the 'network target, multi-component' strategy, has attracted the attention because it can not only reveal the underlying complex interactions between a herbal formula and cellular proteins but detect the influence of their interactions on the function and behavior of the system. Growing evidence shows that the network pharmacology strategy can be a powerful approach to modern research on TCM. 2Interaction between the gut microbiome and mucosal immune system显示文摘The gut microbiota, the largest symbiotic ecosystem with the host, has been shown to play important roles in maintaining intestinal homeostasis. Dysbiosis of the gut microbiome is caused by the imbalance between the commensal and pathogenic microbiomes. The commensal microbiome regulates the maturation of the mucosal immune system, while the pathogenic microbiome causes immunity dysfunction, resulting in disease development.The gut mucosal immune system, which consists of lymph nodes, lamina propria and epithelial cells, constitutes a protective barrier for the integrity of the intestinal tract. The composition of the gut microbiota is under the surveillance of the normal mucosal immune system. Inflammation, which is caused by abnormal immune responses,influences the balance of the gut microbiome, resulting in intestinal diseases. 3Exercise as a prescription for patients with various diseases显示文摘A growing understanding of the benefits of exercise over the past few decades has prompted researchers to take an interest in the possibilities of exercise therapy.Because each sport has its own set of characteristics and physiological complications that tend to occur during exercise training,the effects and underlying mechanisms of exercise remain unclear.Thus,the first step in probing the effects of exercise on different diseases is the selection of an optimal exercise protocol.This review summarizes the latest exercise prescription treatments for 26 different diseases:musculoskeletal system diseases(low back pain,tendon injury,osteoporosis,osteoarthritis,and hip fracture),metabolic system diseases(obesity,type 2 diabetes,type 1 diabetes,and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease),cardio-cerebral vascular system diseases(coronary artery disease,stroke,and chronic heart failure),nervous system diseases(Parkinson’s disease,Huntington’s disease,Alzheimer’s disease,depression,and anxiety disorders),respiratory system diseases(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,interstitial lung disease,and after lung transplantation),urinary system diseases(chronic kidney disease and after kidney transplantation),and cancers(breast cancer,colon cancer,prostate cancer,and lung cancer).Each exercise prescription is displayed in a corresponding table.The recommended type,intensity,and frequency of exercise prescriptions are summarized,and the effects of exercise therapy on the prevention and rehabilitation of different diseases are discussed.Xin Luan Xiangyang Tian Haixin Zhang Rui Huang Na Li Peijie Chen Ru Wang 2019Journal of Sport and Health Science2019,8,5:61
4An Exploratory Analysis of Vegetation Strategies to Reduce Shallow Landslide Activity on Loess Hillslopes, Northeast Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China显示文摘Heavy summer rainfall induces significant soil erosion and shallow landslide activity on the loess hillslopes of the Xining Basin at the northeast margin of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. This study examines the mechanical effects of five native shrubs that can be used to reduce shallow landslide activity. We measured single root tensile resistance and shear resistance, root anatomical structure and direct shear and triaxial shear for soil without roots and five root- soil composite systems. Results show that Atriplex canescens (Pursh) Nutt. possessed the strongest roots, followed by Caragana korshinskii Kom., Zygophyllum xanthoxylon (Bunge) Maxim., Nitraria tangutorum Bobr. and Lycium chinense Mill. Single root strength and shear resistance relationships with root diameter are characterized by power or exponential relations, consistent with the Mohr- Coulomb law. Root mechanical strength reflects their anatomical structure, especially the percentage of phloem and xylem cells, and the degree and speed of periderm lignifications. The cohesion force of root- soil composite systems is notably higher than that of soil without roots, with increasing amplitudes of cohesion force for A. canescens, C. korshinskii, Z. xanthoxylon, N. tangutorum and L. chinense of 75.9%, 75.1%, 36.2%, 24.6% and 17.0 % respectively. When subjected to shear forces, the soil without root samples show much greater lateral deformation thanthe root-soil composite systems, reflecting the restraining effects of roots. 9Developing the Science Product Algorithm Testbed for Chinese Next-Generation Geostationary Meteorological Satellites:Fengyun-4 Series显示文摘Fengyun-4A(FY-4A), the first of the Chinese next-generation geostationary meteorological satellites, launched in2016, offers several advances over the FY-2: more spectral bands, faster imaging, and infrared hyperspectral measurements. To support the major objective of developing the prototypes of FY-4 science algorithms, two science product algorithm testbeds for imagers and sounders have been developed by the scientists in the FY-4 Algorithm Working Group(AWG). Both testbeds, written in FORTRAN and C programming languages for Linux or UNIX systems, have been tested successfully by using Intel/g compilers. Some important FY-4 science products, including cloud mask, cloud properties, and temperature profiles, have been retrieved successfully through using a proxy imager, Himawari-8/Advanced Himawari Imager(AHI), and sounder data, obtained from the Atmospheric Infra Red Sounder, thus demonstrating their robustness. 12REE geochemistry of suspended sediments from the rivers around the Yellow Sea and provenance indicators显示文摘Rare earth element (REE) compositions of the suspended sediments from the rivers around the Yellow Sea were different in that Korean river sediments (Han, Keum and Yeongsan Rivers) yield stronger fractionations than Chinese river sediments (Changjiang, Huanghe and Yalujiang), shown by obvious enrichments of LREE (light rare earth element) relative to UCC (upper continental crust). Variations of source rock compositions in the drainage basins are responsible for the differences of REE compositions between the river sediments. 13Facile Synthesis and Application of Ag-Chemically Converted Graphene Nanocomposite显示文摘An in situ chemical synthesis approach has been employed to prepare an Ag-chemically converted graphene (CCG) nanocomposite. The reduction of graphene oxide sheets was accompanied by generation of Ag nanoparticles. The structure and composition of the nanocomposites were confirmed by means of transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X-ray diffraction. TEM and AFM results suggest a homogeneous distribution of Ag nanoparticles (5-10 nm in size) on CCG sheets. The intensities of the Raman signals of CCG in such nanocomposites are greatly increased by the attached silver nanoparticles, i.e., there is surface-enhanced Raman scattering activity. 14Paeonol inhibits tumor growth in gastric cancer in vitro and in vivo显示文摘AIM:To investigate the anti-tumor effects of paeonol in gastric cancer cell proliferation and apoptosis in vitro and in vivo.METHODS:Murine gastric cancer cell line mouse forestomach carcinoma(MFC) or human gastric cancer cell line SGC-7901 was cultured in the presence or absence of paeonol.Cell proliferation was determined by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay,and cell cycle and apoptosis by flow cytometry and TUNEL staining.Tumor growth after subcutaneous implantation of MFC cells in mice was monitored,and the effects of treatment with paeonol were determined.RESULTS:In vitro,paeonol caused dose-dependent inhibition on cell proliferation and induced apoptosis.Cell cycle analysis revealed a decreased proportion of cells in G0/G1 phase,with arrest at S.Paeonol treatment in gastric cancer cell line MFC and SGC-790 cells significantly reduced the expression of Bcl-2 and increased the expression of Bax in a concentration-related manner.Administration of paeonol to MFC tumor-bearing mice significantly lowered the tumor growth and caused tumor regression.CONCLUSION:Paeonol has signif icantly growth-inhibitory and apoptosis-inducing effects in gastric cancer cells both in vitro and in vivo.Na Li Lu-Lu Fan Guo-Ping Sun Xin-An Wan Zhang-Gui Wang Qiang Wu Hua Wang 2010World Journal of Gastroenterology2010,16,35:27

19Keyword Extraction Based on tf/idf for Chinese News Document显示文摘Keyword extraction is an important research topic of information retrieval. This paper gave the specification of key- words in Chinese news documents based on analyzing linguistic characteristics of news documents and then proposed a new key- word extraction method based on tf/idf with multi-strategies. The approach selected candidate keywords of uni-, bi-and tri-grams, and then defines the features according to their morphological characters and context information. Moreover, the paper proposed several strategies to amend the incomplete words gotten from the word segmentation and found unknown potential keywords in news documents. Experimental results show that our proposed method can significantly outperform the baseline method. We also applied it to retrospective event detection. 20Mineral chemistry and isotope geochemistry of pyrite from the Heilangou gold deposit, Jiaodong Peninsula, Eastern China显示文摘The Heilangou gold deposit is located in the northern QixiaePenglai gold belt, which is one amongst the three large gold belts in the eastern Shandong Province(Jiaodong Peninsula). The ore body has formed within the Guojialing granite. In this study, we report the mineral chemistry of pyrite, as well as the S, Pb,and HeO isotope data of the Heilangou gold deposit. The chemical composition of pyrite in the Heilangou gold deposit indicates that the associated gold deposit is a typical magmatic hydrothermal one. The geochemical signatures and crystal structure of pyrite show that the ore-forming materials have been derived from the crust. The S isotope data of the pyrites from Heilangou show an overall range from 5.5 to7.8& and an average of 6.7&. The S isotope data in this deposit are similar to those from the deposits in the Jiaodong gold belt. The Pb and S isotope variations are small in the Heilangou gold deposit. The206Pb/204Pb,207Pb/204Pb and208Pb/204Pb ratios are 17.4653-17.5958, 15.5105-15.5746 and 38.0749-38.4361, respectively. These data plot between the lower crust and the orogenic belt. The Pb isotope data in the Heilangou gold deposit are similar to those in the Linglong gold deposit. From the Qixia gold area(the Liukou and Majiayao gold deposits) to the MupingeRushan gold belt(Rushan gold deposit) to the ZhaoeYe gold belt(the Linglong, Sanshandao and Jiaojia gold deposits), the206Pb/204Pb ratios progressively increase. The DeO isotope data obtained from quartz separates suggest that the ore-forming fluid was similar to a mixture of magmatic and meteoric waters.
