1Electric field soundings and the charge structure within an isolated thunderstorm显示文摘A strong electric (E) field sounding system was designed to measure the vertical component of the E-fields, temperature, relative humidity and GPS data along the sounding path. In the summer of 2008, in situ measurements of E-field inside the thunderstorms were conducted in Pingliang, Gansu Provience, with the cooperation of an X-band weather radar. One E-field profile inside a thunderstorm was successfully acquired. The sounding data indicated four charge layers along the sounding trajectory, three in-side the thuderstorm and one at its lower boundary. The lower cloud boundary charge layer was negative, acting as a screening layer, and laid between 4.3 to 4.5 km a.s.l. The lower positive charge center (LPCC) existed between 4.5–5.3 km a.s.l. (from 3°C to -2°C); the main negative charge area was present between 5.4–6.6 km a.s.l. (-3°C to -10°C); the upper positive charge layer was between 6.7–7.2 km a.s.l. (-11°C to -14°C). 2A multi-layered Ti3C2/Li2S composite as cathode material for advanced lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries with lithium sulfide(Li2S)as cathode have attracted great attention recently,because of high specific capacity(1166 mA h g^-1)of Li2S and potential safety of using Li metal-free anode.Li2S cathode has lower volume expansion and higher thermal stability than the traditional sulfur cathode.However,the problems of'shuttle effect'and poor electrical conductivity of the cathode material still need to be overcome.In this work,multi-layered Ti3C2/Li2S(ML-Ti3C2/Li2S)composite has been prepared and applied as a cathode in advanced Li-S batteries.The unique multi-layer sheet structure of Ti3 C2 provides space for the storage of Li2S,and its good conductivity greatly enhances the usage ratio of Li2 S and improves the conductivity of the whole Li2S cathode.Compared with commonly used graphene,ML-Ti3C2 can trap polysulfides effectively by chemical adsorption and also activate the reaction of Li2S to polysulfides by forming Ti-S bond.As a result,during the cycling of the batteries with ML-Ti3C2/Li2S cathodes,the activation voltage barrier of the first cycle has decreased to 2.8 V,and the'shuttle effect'has been suppressed effectively.The cycling and rate performances of the ML-Ti3C2/Li2S cathodes have been significantly improved compared to that of graphene/Li2 S cathodes.They maintain a capacity of 450 mAh g^-1 at 0.2 C after 100 cycles,and deliver attractive rate performances of 750,630,540,470 and 360 mAh g^-1 at 0.1 C,0.2 C,0.5 C,1 C,and 2 C,respectively.Xin Liang Jufeng Yun Kun Xu Hongfa Xiang Yong Wang Yi Sun Yan Yu 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,12:4
3Solid-state electrolytes for solid-state lithium-sulfur batteries:Comparisons,advances and prospects显示文摘Compared with other secondary batteries,lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)have unparalleled advantages such as high energy density,low cost,etc.In liquid LSB systems,it is extremely easy to cause severe‘‘shuttle effecto and safety issues.Hence,the development of solid-state LSBs(SSLSBs)has been attracting much more attention.As the most essential part of the SSLSBs,the solid-state electrolyte(SSE)has received significant attention from researchers.In this review,we concentrate on discussing the core of SSLSBs,which is the SSE.Moreover,we also highlight the differences in the properties of the different SSEs,which are polymer-based electrolytes and ceramic-based electrolytes.In addition,the challenges and advances in different types of SSEs are also compared and described systematically.Furthermore,the prospects for new SSE systems and the design of effective SSE structures to achieve highperformance SSLSBs are also discussed.Thus,this review is expected to give readers a comprehensive and systematic understanding of SSEs for SSLSBs.Xin Liang Lulu Wang Xiaolong Wu Xuyong Feng Qiujie Wu Yi Sun Hongfa Xiang Jiazhao Wang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10:2

5Free-standing vanadium pentoxide nanoribbon film as a high-performance cathode for rechargeable sodium batteries显示文摘Vanadium pentoxide(V_2O_5·nH_2O) nanoribbons are synthesized via a hydrothermal process. These ribbons are 20 nm thick, 200 nm to 1 μm wide and several tens of micrometers long. Free-standing binder-free films are prepared by using these nanoribbons with multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) and used as the cathode for rechargeable sodium batteries. The large interlayer space between the V_2O_5 bilayers can enhance the kinetics of sodium ion intercalation/deintercalation. In addition, the intertwining network of the V_2O_5·0.34 H_2O film provides efficient electron conduction pathways and shortens diffusion distances of sodium ion. The electrochemical tests prove that the freestanding V_2O_5 · 0.34 H_2O film cathode delivers high reversible specific capacities(190 mAh/g) and good cycling stabilities(170 mAh/g after 150 cycles) in the voltage range between 1.5 V and 3.5 V.Yi Sun Xin Liang Hongfa Xiang Yan YU 2017Chinese Chemical Letters2017,28,12:1

7Expression of Survivin in Early Villus and Decidua and Its Implication显示文摘Summary: To investigate the expression and implication of survivin protein and mRNA in decidua and villus and the effects of mifepristone on its expression, survivin levels in decidua and villus collected from 15 normal early pregnant women and 15 early pregnant women pretreated with 150 mg mifepristone and 400 μg misoprostol were assessed by immuno-histochemical techniques and reverse transcriptional-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Our results showed that survivin proteins were stained in the cytoplasm of trophoblasts and decidual cells and in the nuclei of some of the decidual glandular epithelial cells. The expression was strongest in the trophoblasts and decidual glandular epithelial cells. The expression values in the villus and decidua were (14.56±2.44) and (10.46±2.81) respectively for normal pregnant and (8.45±2.08), (7.33±1.91) for those pretreated with mifepristone respectively (P<0.05). The transcription of survivin mRNA in villus and decidua of those pretreated with mifepristone decreased significantly compared with those in the normal pregnant women (P<0.05). 9The influence of home environmental factors and life style on children's respiratory health in Xi'an显示文摘To assess associations between home indoor air environments and asthma,allergies and pneumonia,children aged 1–8 years were surveyed from 12 kindergartens in the city of Xi’an.2,020 questionnaires were responded with a response rate of 83.5%.The prevalences of doctor diagnosed asthma,hay fever,and pneumonia were 2.9%,3.6%,and 28.3%,respectively.Living close to a highway was a risk factor for current rhinitis(AOR 1.5,95%CI 1.2–1.8),eczema(AOR 1.7,95%CI 1.2–2.5),and diagnosed pneumonia(AOR 1.3,95%CI 1.0–1.6).Dampness problems in the home were associated with 50%–130%increases in the prevalences of asthma and allergy.Airing bed linen under sun-shine was protective,especially against rhinitis.Pet avoidance was consistently and significantly associated with asthma and allergy(AOR 1.3–2.4).Decoration of the home during children’s early life is a risk factor for current rhinitis(AOR 1.9,95%CI 1.3–2.9)and eczema(AOR 1.9,95%CI1.1–3.6).Risk factors for pneumonia were living in an apartment(AOR 1.4,95%CI 1.1–1.8),latex wall paint(AOR 1.3,95%CI 1.0–1.7),dampness(AOR 1.4–1.5),breast feeding\3 months(AOR 1.3,95%CI 1.0–1.7),never airing bed linen in sunshine(AOR 1.3,95%CI1.3–1.6),and cleaning children’s room less frequently than once per day(AOR 1.4,95%CI 1.1–1.7).This study demonstrates that home indoor environmental and life style factors may influence the health of children in Xi’an.Angui Li Yuexia Sun Zhijian Liu Xiaoxia Xu Hongfa Sun Jan Sundell 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,17:0

112-(Trifluoroacetyl) thiophene as an electrolyte additive for high-voltage lithium-ion batteries using LiCoO_(2) cathode显示文摘The development of high voltage electrolytes plays a critical role to achieve advanced lithium ion batteries with high energy density.Application of suitable electrolyte additives is a facile and effective way to achieve enhanced electrochemical perfo rmance at high voltage operation.In this work,2-(tri fluoroacetyl)thiophene(TFPN) was investigated as a functional electrolyte additive for high performance lithium ion batteries using high-voltage LiCoO2 cathode.When cycled between 3.0 V and 4.4 V at 0.5 C,the capacity retention of the LiCoO2 cathode significantly increases from 33.2 %-90.6 % by the addition of 0.5 wt%TFPN into the baseline electrolyte.Based on the measurements on impedance spectra and X-ray photoelectron spectra,the improved cycling performance is attributed to the preferential oxidation of TFPN on the cathode surface and thus form a protective layer to suppress the decomposition of both electrolyte solvent and lithium salt.This work presents that TFPN has great potential as functional additive for the development of high-voltage and high-energy-density lithium ion batteries.Yi Sun Jian Huang Hongfa Xiang Xin Liang Yuezhan Feng Yan Yu 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,52,20:0
