1Progress and records in the study of endogenetic mineralization during collisional orogenesis显示文摘To develop and perfect the theory of plate tectonics and regional metallogeny, metal-logenesis during collisional orogenesis should be thoroughly studied and will attract increasing at-tention of more and more scientists. This paper presents the main aspects of research and discus-sions on metallogenesis during collisional orogenesis after the development of plate tectonics, and accordingly divides the study history into two stages, i.e. the junior stage during 1971-1990 and the senior stage after 1990. Beginning with the negation of mineralization in the collision regime by Guild (1971), the focus of study was put on whether there occurred any mineralization during collisional orogenesis at the junior stage. 2The crosstalk between autophagy and ferroptosis:what can we learn to target drug resistance in cancer?显示文摘Autophagy is a conserved intracellular degradation system that plays a dual role in cell death;thus,therapies targeting autophagy in cancer are somewhat controversial.Ferroptosis is a new form of regulated cell death featured with the iron-dependent accumulation of lethal lipid ROS.This pathway is morphologically,biochemically and genetically distinct from other forms of cell death.Accumulating studies have revealed crosstalk between autophagy and ferroptosis at the molecular level.In this review,we summarize the mechanisms of ferroptosis and autophagy,and more importantly,their roles in the drug resistance of cancer.Numerous connections between ferroptosis and autophagy have been revealed,and a strong causal relationship exists wherein one process controls the other and can be utilized as potential therapeutic targets for cancer.The elucidation of when and how to modulate their crosstalk using therapeutic strategies depends on an understanding of the fine-tuned switch between ferroptosis and autophagy,and approaches designed to manipulate the intensity of autophagy might be the key.Yulu Zhou Yong Shen Cong Chen Xinbing Sui Jingjing Yang Linbo Wang Jichun Zhou 2019Cancer Biology & Medicine2019,16,4:9
3Structures and catalytic performances of Me/SAPO-34(Me=Mn,Ni,Co)catalysts for low-tem perature SCR of NO_x by ammonia显示文摘Me/SAPO-34(Me=Mn,Ni,Co)series of catalysts were prepared by a wetness impregnation method and investigated for the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides with ammonia(NH 3-SCR).Among them,Mn/SAPO-34 catalyst was found as the most promising candidate based on its superior low-temperature activity.The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy images(TEM),nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),temperature programmed reduction and desorption(TPR and TPD),and diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transformed spectroscopy(DRIFTS)of NH_(3)/NO_(x)adsorption.Mn/SAPO-34 is obviously different from Ni/SAPO-34 and Co/SAPO-34 in the active species state and distribution.Surface MnO_(x)species which play an essential role in NO oxidation and NO_(2)adsorption,act as better active sites than nickel and cobalt mostly in the form of the aluminates and silicates.Xuesong Liu Zhiming Sui Hongfeng Chen Yong Chen Haigang Liu Peng Jiang Zhongyun Shen Wensheng Linghu Xiaodong Wu 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,6:8
4Precipitation Behavior and Microstructural Evolution of Ferritic Ti–V–Mo Complex Microalloyed Steel显示文摘Precipitation behavior of(Ti,V,Mo)C and microstructural evolution of the ferritic Ti–V–Mo complex microalloyed steel were investigated through changing coiling temperature(CT).It is demonstrated that the strength of the Ti–V–Mo microalloyed steel can be ascribed to the combination of grain refinement hardening and precipitation hardening.The variation of hardness(from 318 to 415 HV,then to 327 HV) with CT(from 500 to 600–625 °C,then to 700 °C) was attributed to the changes of volume fraction and particle size of(Ti,V,Mo)C precipitates.The optimum CT was considered as 600–625 °C,at which the maximum hardness value(415 HV) can be obtained.It was found that the atomic ratios of Ti,V and Mo in(Ti,V,Mo)C carbides were changed as the CT increased.The precipitates with the size of \ 10 nm were the V-rich particles at higher CT of 600 and 650 °C,while the Ti-rich particles were observed at lower CT of 500 and 550 °C.Theoretical calculations indicated that the maximum nucleation rate of(Ti,V,Mo)C in ferrite matrix occurred around 630 °C,which was consistent with the 625 °C obtained from experiment results.Ke Zhang Hui Wang Xin-Jun Sun Feng-Li Sui Zhao-Dong Li En-Xiang Pu Zheng-Hai Zhu Zhen-Yi Huang Hong-Bo Pan Qi-Long Yong 2018Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2018,31,9:4

10Near-infrared carbon nanodots for effective identification and inactivation of Gram-positive bacteria显示文摘An unacceptable increase in antibacterial resistance has arisen due to the abuse of multiple classes of broad-spectrum antibiotics.Therefore,it is significant to develop new antibacterial agents,especially those that can accurately identify and kill specific bacteria.Herein,we demonstrate a kind of perilla-derived carbon nanodots(CNDs),integrating intrinsic advantages of luminescence and photodynamic,providing the opportunity to accurately identify and kill specific bacteria.The CNDs have an exotic-doped andπ-conjugated core,vitalizing them near-infrared(NIR)absorption and emission properties with photoluminescence quantum yield of 21.1%;hydrophobic chains onto the surface of the CNDs make them to selectively stain Gram-positive bacteria by insertion into their membranes.Due to the strong absorption in NIR region,reactive oxygen species are in situ generated by the CNDs onto bacterial membranes under 660 nm irradiation,and 99.99%inactivation efficiency against Gram-positive bacteria within 5 min can be achieved.In vivo results demonstrate that the CNDs with photodynamic antibacterial property can eliminate the inflammation of the area affected by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA),and enabling the wound to be cured quickly.Wen-Bo Zhao Rui-Ting Wang Kai-Kai Liu Meng-Ru Du Yong Wang Yu-Qi Wang Rui Zhou Ya-Chuan Liang Ruo-Nan Ma Lai-Zhi Sui Qing Lou Lin Hou Chong-Xin Shan 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:3
11Ethnobotany and diversity of medicinal plants used by the Buyi in eastern Yunnan, China显示文摘The Buyi are a socio-linguistic group in Yunnan Province of southwest China that have a long history of using medicinal plants as part of their indigenous medical system.Given the limited written documentation of the Buyi indigenous medical system,the objective of this paper is to document the medicinal plants of the Buyi and associated traditional knowledge and transmission.Field research was conducted in four villages in Lubuge Township of Luoping County in Yunnan Province using ethnobotanical methodologies including participatory observation,semi-structured interviews,key informant interviews,and focus group discussions to elicit information on medicinal plants.In total,120 informants(including 15 key informants who are healers)were interviewed.This study found that a total of 121 medicinal plant species belonging to 64 families are used by the Buyi including by local healers to treat different diseases.Among the medicinal plants recorded in this study,56 species(46%)have not previously been documented in the scientific literature as having medicinal value,highlighting the pressing need for ethnobotanical documentation in indigenous communities.The most frequently used medicinal part was the leaf(24.9%of documented plants),and the most common preparation method was decoction(62.8%of medicinal).Medicinal plants were mainly used to treat rheumatism(12.4%of plants),trauma and injuries(9.6%).The documented plants are also used for other non-medicinal purposes including food,fodder,fencing,and ornamental.In addition,35 of the medicinal plants are considered poisonous and are used by local Buyi healers for medicine.The traditional Buyi beliefs and practices associated with the documented medicinal plants likely contributes to their conservation in the environments and around Buyi communities.This study further highlights that ethnomedicinal knowledge of the Buyi is at risk of disappearing due to increased introduction and use of modern medicine in Buyi communities,livelihood changes,rapid modernization,and urbanization.Research,policy,and community programs are urgently needed to conserve the biocultural diversity associated with the Buyi medical system including ethnobotanical knowledge towards supporting both environmental and human wellbeing.Yong Xiong Xueyi Sui Selena Ahmed Zhi Wang Chunlin Long 2020Plant Diversity2020,42,6:3
12Electron-phonon coupling-assisted universal red luminescence of o-phenylenediamine-based carbon dots显示文摘Due to the complex core-shell structure and variety of surface functional groups,the photoluminescence(PL)mechanism of carbon dots(CDs)remain unclear.o-Phenylenediamine(oPD),as one of the most common precursors for preparing red emissive CDs,has been extensively studied.Interestingly,most of the red emission CDs based on oPD have similar PL emission characteristics.Herein,we prepared six different oPD-based CDs and found that they had almost the same PL emission and absorption spectra after purifiication.Structural and spectral characterization indicated that they had similar carbon core structures but diffferent surface polymer shells.Furthermore,single-molecule PL spectroscopy confirmed that the multi-modal emission of those CDs originated from the transitions of different vibrational energy levels of the same PL center in the carbon core.In addition,the phenomenon of'spectral splitting'of single-particle CDs was observed at low temperature,which confirmed these oPD-based CDs were unique materials with properties of both organic molecules and quantum dots.Finally,theoretical calculations revealed their potential polymerization mode and carbon core structure.Moreover,we proposed the PL mechanism of red-emitting CDs based on oPD precursors;that is,the carbon core regulates the PL emission,and the polymer shell regulates the PL intensity.Our work resolves the controversy on the PL mechanism of oPD-based red CDs.These findings provide a general guide for the mechanism exploration and structural analysis of other types of CDs.Boyang Wang Zhihong Wei Laizhi Sui Jingkun Yu Baowei Zhang Xiaoyong Wang Shengnan Feng Haoqiang Song Xue Yong Yuxi Tian Bai Yang Siyu Lu 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,7:2

14Hydroxychavicol,a polyphenol from Piper betle leaf extract,induces cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in TP53-resistant HT-29 colon cancer cells显示文摘This study aims to elucidate the antiproliferative mechanism of hydroxychavicol(HC).Its effects on cell cycle,apoptosis,and the expression of c-Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK)and P38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)in HT-29 colon cancer cells were investigated.HC was isolated from Piper betle leaf(PBL)and verified by high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The cytotoxic effects of the standard drug 5-fluorouracil(5-FU),PBL water extract,and HC on HT-29 cells were measured after 24,48,and 72 h of treatment.Cell cycle and apoptosis modulation by 5-FU and HC treatments were investigated up to 30 h.Changes in phosphorylated JNK(pJNK)and P38(pP38)MAPK expression were observed up to 18 h.The half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC_(50))values of HC(30μg/mL)and PBL water extract(380μg/mL)were achieved at 24 h,whereas the IC_(50)of 5-FU(50μmol/L)was obtained at 72 h.Cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase in HC-treated cells was observed from12 h onwards.Higher apoptotic cell death in HC-treated cells compared to 5-FU-treated cells(P<0.05)was observed.High expression of pJNK and pP38 MAPK was observed at 12 h in HC-treated cells,but not in 5-FU-treated HT-29 cells(P<0.05).It is concluded that HC induces cell cycle arrest and apoptosis of HT-29 cells,with these actions possibly mediated by JNK and P38 MAPK.Aiysvariyah RAJEDADRAM Kar Yong PIN Sui Kiong LING See Wan YAN Mee Lee LOOI 2021Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2021,22,2:2
15Heavy Metal Pollution and Ecological Risk Assessment of Cultivated Land Soil in the Farming Areas of Coastal China:A Case Study of Donghai County,Jiangsu Province显示文摘Classical statistics,Inverse Distance Weighted and Hakasnson potential ecological index were used to study the distribution characteristics of 8 kinds of heavy metals( Cr,Ni,Cu,Zn,As,Cd,Pb and Hg) as well as their potential ecological risks in the topsoil( 0-20 cm) of cultivated land in Donghai County,a typical agricultural area along the Southeast Coast of China.The results showed that the average content of heavy metals in the cultivated soil of Donghai County was not over the risk screening values set in the Environmental Quality Standard for Soils.However,it was worth noting that in some of the sampling points,the content of Cr exceeded the risk screening value,and the standard exceeding points accounted for 24.74% of the total.In addition,the average content of Cr,Ni,As,Cd,Pb and Hg exceeded the soil background values of Jiangsu Province,and values for Cd,Cr and Pb were more than 1.5 times of the soil background value of Jiangsu Province.The heavy metals were at the medium integrated potential ecological risk level,and the potential ecological risk indices were high in the east and low in the west,and distributed in interlaced island shape.The potential ecological risk indices of the plains in the east were higher than those of the central gentle slope area and the western hillock area.The potential ecological risk was at a high level in Niushan Town which was situated the county center and in some regions with high urbanization levels.Ligang LYU Xiaorui WANG Xueyan SUI Zhenyu LIU Yong YUAN Chen LIN 2018Agricultural Biotechnology2018,7,6:2

18Dense skyrmion crystal stabilized through interfacial exchange coupling:Role fo in-plane anisotropy显示文摘A Monte Carlo simulated-annealing algorithm was used to study the magnetic state in an in-plane helimagnet layer on triangular lattice that exchange couples to an underlayer with strong out-of-plane anisotropy.In the single helimagnet layer with in-plane anisotropy(K),the formation of labyrinth-like domains with local spin spirals,instead of parallel stripes,is favored,and these domains rapidly transform into dense skyrmion crystals with increasing interfacial exchange coupling(J'),equivalent to a virtual magnetic field,and finally evolve to an out-of-plane uniform state at large enough J'.Moreover,with increasing K,the skyrmion crystal state can vary from regular 6-nearest-neighboring circular skyrmion arrangement to irregular squeezed skyrmions with less than 6 nearest neighbors when the in-plane anisotropy energy is higher than the interfacial exchange energy as the skyrmion number is maximized.Finally,we demonstrated that the antiferromagnetic underlayer cannot induce skyrmions while the chirality inversion can be achieved on top of an out-of-plane magnetization underlayer with 180°domain walls,supporting the experimental findings in FeGe thin film.This compelling advantage offers a fertile playground for exploring emergent phenomena that arise from interfacing magnetic skyrmions with additional functionalities.Ming-Xiu Sui Zi-Bo Zhang Xiao-Dan Chi Jia-Yu Zhang Yong Hu 2021Frontiers of physics2021,16,2:1

20Synthesis and surface activity of a novel heterodouble chained N-acyltaurate amphiphile显示文摘A novel double chained amphiphile,N-(α-4-hexylphenoxy)-lauroyltaurate(abbreviated as 10+6B-T),has been synthesized.
