1Adsorption performance of CMK-3 and C-FDU-15 in NO removal at low temperature显示文摘CMK-3 and C-FDU-15 samples were synthesized using hard-templating and evaporationinduced self-assembly(EISA)methods,respectively.The pore structures of CMK-3 and CFDU-15 as well as commercial activated carbon were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction,field emission scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and N2 adsorption–desorption.Adsorption of NO was investigated by means of thermogravimetric analysis,temperature-programmed desorption of NO+O2,and in situ diffuse reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.The results show that the CMK-3 and C-FDU-15 materials possessed ordered and uniform structures.The coadsorption capacity of NO and O2 decreased in the sequence CMK-3(88.6 mg/g)>C-FDU-15(71.7 mg/g)>AC(25.3 mg/g).There were two main adsorption species on CMK-3 and CFDU-15:nitrite and nitrate.Nitrite is converted to nitrate easily.However,the adsorption species were more complex on AC,with nitrite being the main species.Moreover,CMK-3 and C-FDU-15 exhibit excellent regeneration efficiency compared with AC.The excellent NO adsorption performance of CMK-3 and C-FDU-15 was associated with their ordered mesoporous structures and high surface areas.The research provides more options for NO adsorption in the future.Runping Wu Qing Ye Kai Wu Shuiyuan Cheng Tianfang Kang Hongxing Dai 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,1:2
2A novel pulmonary fibrosis murine model with immune-related liver injury显示文摘Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis(IPF),characterized by aggravated alveolar destruc-tion and fibrotic matrix deposition,tendentiously experiences the stage called acute exacerbation IPF(AE-IPF)and progresses to multiple organ damage,especially liver injury.Recent studies have found a variety of immune microenvironment disorders associated with elevated IPF risk and secondary organ injury,whereas current animal models induced with bleomycin(BLM)could not completely reflect the pathologi-cal manifestations of AE-IPF patients in clinic,and the exact underlying mechanisms are not yet fully explored.In the current study,we established an AE-IPF model by tracheal administration of a single dose of BLM and then repeated administrations of lipopolysaccharide in mice.This mouse model successfully recapitulated the clinical features of AE-IPF,including excessive intrapulmonary inflammation and fibrosis and extrapulmonary manifestations,as indicated by significant upregulation of Il6,Tnfa,Il1b,Tgfb,fibronectin,and Col1a1 in both lungs and liver and elevated serum aspartate transaminase and alanine transaminase levels.These effects might be attributed to the regulation of Th17 cells.By sharing this novel murine model,we expect to pro-vide an appropriate experimental platform to investigate the pathogenesis of AE-IPF coupled with liver injury and contribute to the discovery and development of targeted interventions.Kexin Jia Jianzhi Wu Yijie Li Jia Liu Runping Liu Yajie Cai Yinhao Zhang Xiaojiaoyang Li 2023Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2023,6,3:1

5Improved Assimilation of Fengyun-3 Satellite-Based Snow Cover Fraction in Northeastern China显示文摘Assimilation of snow cover is an important method to improve the accuracy of snow simulation. However, the effects of snow assimilation are poor because satellite observed snow cover data contain erroneous information, such as cloud contamination. In this paper, an improved approach is proposed to reduce the effects of observational errors during assimilation of snow cover fraction acquired by the Fengyun-3(FY-3) satellite in northeastern China. A snow depth constraint was imposed on quality control of a snow depth product from a microwave radiation imager. The assimilation experiments were carried out before and after quality control(denoted as SCFDA and SCFDA_WSD, respectively). The snow cover fraction results were evaluated against the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS) snow cover products. When assimilating the snow cover fraction with the snow depth constraint(i.e., SCFDA_WSD), substantially larger improvement was obtained than that without such a constraint/quality control(SCFDA), and the deviation and root mean square error of the snow cover fraction were significantly reduced.The assimilation performance was also evaluated against in-situ snow depth observations. The SCFDA_WSD also showed greater improvements during the snow accumulation and snowmelt periods than the SCFDA. The SCFDA_WSD improvements in woodland and shrubland were the most obvious. At different altitudes, the effects of the SCFDA_WSD were basically equivalent, and the deeper the snow depth was, the better the effect. 12Carbon dioxide adsorption behaviors of aluminum-pillared montmorillonite-supported alkaline earth metals显示文摘The Al-pillared montmorillonite-supported alkaline earth metal 5M/Al-PILC(PILC = pillared clay, M = Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba) and x Mg/Al-PILC( x = 1, 3, 5, and 7 wt.%) samples were prepared using an impregnation method. Physical properties of the materials were determined by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD) and N2 adsorption-desorption, and their CO2 adsorption behaviors were investigated using the thermogravimetric analyzer(TG), CO2 temperatureprogrammed desorption(CO2-TPD), and in situ diffuse reflectance infrared transform spectroscopy(in situ-DRIFTS) techniques. It is shown that 5 Mg/Al-PILC possessed the highest CO2 adsorption capacity(2.559 mmol/g). The characterization results indicate that Alpillaring increased the specific surface area of montmorillonite, which was beneficial for the adsorption of CO2. The CO2 adsorption process on the sample was mainly chemical adsorption, and alkalinity was the main factor influencing its adsorption capacity. The alkalinity of the sample was enhanced by loading an appropriate amount of alkaline earth metal, and the adsorbed CO2 was present in the form of bicarbonate and carbonate. In addition, the 5Mg/Al-PILC sample exhibited an excellent regeneration efficiency. 14A novel Ag/ZnO core-shell structure for efficient sterilization synergizing antibiotics and subsequently removing residuals显示文摘The massive use of antibiotics has led to the aggravation of bacterial resistance and also brought environmental pollution problems.This poses a great threat to human health.If the dosage of antibiotics is reduced by increasing its bactericidal performance,the emergence of drug resistance is certainly delayed,so that there's not enough time for developing drug resistance during treatment.Therefore,we selected typical representative materials of metal Ag and semiconductor ZnO nano-bactericides to design and synthesize Ag/ZnO hollow core-shell structures(AZ for short).Antibiotics are grafted on the surface of AZ through rational modification to form a composite sterilization system.The research results show that the antibacterial efficiency of the composite system is significantly increased,from the sum(34.7%+22.8%-57.5%)of the antibacterial efficiency of AZ and gentamicin to 80.2%,net synergizes 22.7%,which fully reflects the effect of 1+1>2.Therefore,the dosage of antibiotics can be drastically reduced in this way,which makes both the possibility of bacterial resistance and medical expenses remarkably decrease.Subsequently,residual antibiotics can be degraded under simple illumination using AZ-self as a photocatalyst,which cuts off the path of environmental pollution.In short,such an innovative route has guiding significance for drug resistance.Wenmei Han Wenli Wang Jie Fan Runping Jia Xuchun Yang Tong Wu Qingsheng Wu 2024Green Energy & Environment2024,9,2:0
15Deep Sequential Feature Learning in Clinical Image Classification of Infectious Keratitis显示文摘Infectious keratitis is the most common condition of corneal diseases in which a pathogen grows in the cornea leading to inflammation and destruction of the corneal tissues.Infectious keratitis is a medical emergency for which a rapid and accurate diagnosis is needed to ensure prompt and precise treatment to halt the disease progression and to limit the extent of corneal damage;otherwise,it may develop a sight-threatening and even eye-globe-threatening condition.In this paper,we propose a sequentiallevel deep model to effectively discriminate infectious corneal disease via the classification of clinical images.In this approach,we devise an appropriate mechanism to preserve the spatial structures of clinical images and disentangle the informative features for clinical image classification of infectious keratitis.In a comparison,the performance of the proposed sequential-level deep model achieved 80%diagnostic accuracy,far better than the 49.27%±11.5%diagnostic accuracy achieved by 421 ophthalmologists over 120 test images.Yesheng Xu Ming Kong Wenjia Xie Runping Duan Zhengqing Fang Yuxiao Lin Qiang Zhu Siliang Tang Fei Wu Yu-Feng Yao 2021Engineering2021,7,7:0
16Low-temperature(NO + O_(2)) adsorption performance of alkaline earth metal-doped C-FDU-15显示文摘To improve the removal capacity of NO + O_(2) effectively, the alkaline earth metal-doped order mesoporous carbon(A-C-FDU-15(0.001)(A = Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba)) and Mg-C-FDU-15( x)( x = 0.001-0.003) samples were prepared, and their physicochemical and NO + O_(2) adsorption properties were determined by means of various techniques. The results show that the sequence in(NO + O_(2)) adsorption performance was as follows: Mg-C-FDU-15(0.001)(93.2 mg/g) > Ca-C-FDU-15(0.001)(82.2 mg/g) > Sr-C-FDU-15(0.001)(76.1 mg/g) > Ba-C-FDU-15(0.001)(72.9 mg/g) > C-FDU-15(67.1 mg/g). Among all of the A-C-FDU-15(0.001) samples, Mg-C-FDU-15(0.001) possessed the highest(NO + O_(2)) adsorption capacity(106.2 mg/g). The species of alkaline earth metals and basic sites were important factors determining the adsorption of NO + O_(2) on the A-C-FDU-15( x) samples, and(NO + O_(2)) adsorption on the samples was mainly chemical adsorption. Combined with the results of(NO + O_(2))-temperatureprogrammed desorption((NO + O_(2))-TPD) and in situ diffused reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS) characterization, we deduced that there were two main pathways of(NO + O_(2)) adsorption: one was first the conversion of NO and O_(2) to NO_(2) and then part of NO_(2) was converted to NO_(2)^(-) and NO_(3)^(-);and the other was the direct oxidation of NO to NO-2 and NO_(3)^(-).Runping Wu Qing Ye Kai Wu Hongxing Dai 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,5:0
