1High-performance asymmetric electrodes photodiode based on Sb/WSe2 heterostructure显示文摘Two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdWs) metal-semiconductor heterostructures with atomically sharp interface and matched work functions have recently attracted great attention due to their unique electronic and optoelectronic properties. Here we report the vapor phase epitaxial growth of large-scale vertical Sb/WSe2 metal-semiconductor vdWs heterostructures with uniform stacking orientation. Compared with the growth on S1O2/S1 substrate, the thick ness of Sb nan osheet on WSe2 can be reduced effectively to mono layer. We con struct Sb-WSe2-Au asymmetric electrodes photodiode based on the Sb/WSe2 heterostructures. Electrical transport measurements indicate that the photodiode show obvious rectifying effect. Optoelectronic characterizations show prominent photoresponse with a high photoresposivity of 364 mA/W, a fast response time of less than 8 ms, a large open-circuit voltage of 0.27 V and a maximum electrical power output of 0.11 nW. 2Decadal variations in the season advancement of spring water cycle over Eastern China显示文摘Spring is the critical period for atmospheric circulation transition from winter to summer.The spring water cycle is very im-portant to agriculture in planting crop and the initial growth of crop.Note that there was a significant abrupt decadal change in the water budget increase during early spring over eastern China in the late 1970s.Studied here are the decadal variations of water budgets over the key regions and the associated change of water cycle over East Asia and atmospheric circulation over Asia-West Pacific region in early spring,using the observed(OBS) precipitation,the ECMWF(ERA) and NCEP/NCAR rea-nalysis(NRA),and the Mantua's Pacific decadal oscillation index(PDOI).The water budget increments from March to April exhibited a sharp decrease over the key region around Huaihe River basin(HHR)(111°-120°E;31°-36°N) after year 1978.Before 1977 the water vapor flux through south boundary of the HHR region increased greatly during March to April by 1.52 mm d 1 in ERA and 1.88 mm d 1 in NRA.Concurrently the moisture convergence and precipitation over the region also in-creased greatly.The increment for the moisture convergence was 1.11 mm d 1 in ERA and 1.22 mm d 1 in NRA,and for the precipitation was 1.08 mm d 1 in observation and 1.05 mm d 1 in ERA.April was the time that the water budgets over HHR increased most rapidly before 1977.But after 1978 the water budgets decreased conversely from Mach to April.The water vapor flux increment through the south boundary was 0.03 mm d 1 in ERA and 0.01 mm d 1 in NRA,the moisture conver-gence increment was 0.91 mm d 1 in ERA and 0.53 mm d 1 in NRA,and precipitation increment was 0.08 mm d 1 in ob-servation and 0.15 mm d 1 in ERA.Further investigation has shown that the large-scale atmospheric circulation in the early spring has correspondingly changed significantly after the late 1970s.During March to April,the weakening of the trough over East Asia became significantly slower,and the strengthening of the ridge over the west China became significantly faster in the middle troposphere after the late 1970s.At the same time,in the lower troposphere,the strengthening and northward extending of the west part of the subtropical high and the weakening of the trough over the southwest part of the Aleutian low in the early spring became slower,and the weakening of the main part of Asian high became slower,but the strengthening of its west part became faster.This significant decadal change of circulation caused a sharp decrease in the northward extending speed of wa-ter vapor transport,and in the water budgets increasing speed over the southeastern China during early spring after the late 1970s.ZHAO RuiXia ZHANG Hong WU GuoXiong LI WeiPing SHI AiLi 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,8:4
3Controllable synthesis of NiS and NiS2 nanoplates by chemical vapor deposition显示文摘Mulitipe stoichiometric ratio of two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)attracted considerable interest for their unique chemical and physical properties.Here we developed a chemical vapor deposition(CVD)method to controllably synthesize ultrathin NiS and NiS2 nanoplates.By tuning the growth temperature and the amounts of the sulfur powder,2D nonlayered NiS and NiS2 nanoplates can be selectively prepared with the thickness of 2.0 and 7.0 nm,respectively.X-ray diffraction(XRD)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)characterization reveal that the 2D NiS and N1S2 nanoplates are high-quality single crystals in the hexagonal and cubic phase,respectively.Electrical transport studies show that electrical conductivities of the 2D NiS and N1S2 nanoplates are as high as 4.6 x 10^5 and 6.3 x 10^5 S·m^-1,respectively.The electrical results demonstrate that the synthesized metallic NiS and NiS2 could serve as good electrodes in 2D electronics.Chen Dai Bo Li Jia Li Bei Zhao Ruixia Wu Huifang Ma Xidong Duan 2020Nano Research2020,13,9:3
4Direct van der Waals epitaxial growth of 1D/2D Sb2Se3/WS2 mixed-dimensional p-n heterojunctions显示文摘The mixed-dimensional integration of two-dimensional (2D) materials with non-2D materials can give rise to prominent advances in performance or function.To date,the mixed-dimensional one-dimensional (1D)/2D heterostructures have been fabricated using various physical assembly approaches.However,direct epitaxial growth method which has notable advantages in preparing large-scale products and obtaining perfect interfaces is rarely investigated.Herein,we demonstrate for the first time the direct synthesis of the 1D/2D mixed-dimensional heterostructures by sequential vapor-phase growth of Sb2Se3 nanowires on WS2 monolayers.X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern and Raman spectrum confirm the composition of the Sb2Se3/NS2 heterostructures.Transmission electron microscope (TEM) measurement demonstrates high quality of the heterostructures.Electrical transport characterization reveals that Sb2Se3 nanowire exhibits p-type characteristic and that WS2 monolayer exhibits n-type behavior,and that the p-n diode from 1D/2D mixed-dimensional Sb2Se3/WS2 heterostructure possesses obvious current rectification behavior.Optoelectronic measurements of the heterostructures show apparent photovoltaic response with an open-circuit voltage of 0.19 V,photoresponsivity of 1.51 A/W (Vds =5 V) and fast response time of less than 8 ms.The van der Waals epitaxial growth mode of Sb2Se3 nanowires on WS2 monolayers is verified by stripping the Sb2Se3 nanowire from the heterostructures using tape.Together,the direct van der Waals epitaxy opens a facile pathway to 1D/2D mixed-dimensional heterostructures for functional electronic and optoelectronic devices.Guangzhuang Sun Bo Li Jia Li Zhengwei Zhang Huifang Ma Peng Chen Bei Zhao Ruixia Wu Weiqi Dang Xiangdong Yang Xuwan Tang Chen Dai Ziwei Huang Yuan Liu Xidong Duan Xiangfeng Duan 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:2
5Quantitative Precipitation Forecasting Using Multi-Model Blending with Supplemental Grid Points:Experiments and Prospects in China显示文摘Quantitative Precipitation Forecast(QPF)is a challenging issue in seamless prediction.QPF faces the following difficulties:(i)single rather than multiple model products are still used;(ii)most QPF methods require long-term training samples not easily available,and(iii)local features are insufficiently reflected.In this work,a multi-model blending(MMB)algorithm with supplemental grid points(SGPs)is experimented to overcome these shortcomings.The MMB algorithm includes three steps:(1)single-model bias-correction,(2)dynamic weight MMB,and(3)light-precipitation elimination.In step 1,quantile mapping(QM)is used and SGPs are configured to expand the sample size.The SGPs are chosen based on similarity of topography,spatial distance,and climatic characteristics of local precipitation.In step 2,the dynamic weight MMB uses the idea of ensemble forecasting:a precipitation process can be forecast if more than 40% of the models predict such a case;moreover,threat score(TS)is used to update the weights of ensemble members.Finally,in step 3,the number of false alarms of light precipitation is reduced,thus alleviating unreasonable expansion of the precipitation area caused by the blending of multiple models.Verification results show that using the MMB algorithm has effectively improved the TS and bias score(BS)for blended 6-h QPF.The rate of increase in TS for heavy rainfall(25-mm threshold)reaches 20%-40%;in particular,the improvement has reached 47.6% for forecast lead time of 24 h,compared with the ECMWF model.Meanwhile,the BS is closer to 1,which is better than any single-model forecast.In sum,the QPF using MMB with SGPs shows great potential to further improve the present operational QPF in China.Yu WANG Kan DAI Zhiping ZONG Yue SHEN Ruixia ZHAO Jian TANG Couhua LIU 2021Journal of Meteorological Research2021,35,3:2

8Vapor phase growth of two-dimensional PdSe2 nanosheets for high-photoresponsivity near-infrared photodetectors显示文摘Palladium diselenide(PdSe2),a stable layered material with pentagonal structure,has attracted extensive interest due to its excellent electrical and optoelectronic performance.Here,we report a reliable process to synthesize PdSe2 via chemical vapor deposition(CVD)method.Through systematic regulation of temperature in the growth process,we can tune the thickness,size,nucleation density and morphology of PdSe2 nanosheets.Field-effect transistors based on PdSe2 nanosheets exhibit n-type behavior and present a high electron mobility of 105 cm^2·V^−1·s^−1.The electrical property of the devices after 6 months keeping in the air show little change,implying outstanding air-stability of PdSe2.In addition,PdSe2 near-infrared photodetector shows a photoresponsivity of 660 A·W^−1 under 914 nm laser.These performances are better than those of most CVD-grown 2D materials,making ultrathin PdSe2 a highly qualified candidate material for next-generation optoelectronic applications.Weiting Xu Jiayang Jiang Huifang Ma Zhengwei Zhang Jia Li Bei Zhao Ruixia Wu Xiangdong Yang Hongmei Zhang Bailing Li Weining Shu Zucheng Zhang Bo Li Yuan Liu Lei Liao Xidong Duan 2020Nano Research2020,13,8:1

10In-plane epitaxial growth of 2D CoSe-WSe2 metalsemiconductor lateral heterostructures with improved WSe2 transistors performance显示文摘The two-dimensional(2D)in-plane(lateral)heterostructures have attracted increasing interest for potential applications in the atomically thin electronics and optoelectronics.While most studies focus on semiconductorsemiconductor lateral heterostructures with highly similar lattice structures between the constituent components,the synthesis of metal-semiconductor lateral heterostructures is much less explored and usually more challenging due to more distinct lattice structures or chemical properties.Herein,a vapor phase epitaxy growth method of high-quality metal-semiconductor lateral heterostructures between tetragonal CoSe and hexagonal WSe2 is reported.The 2D CoSe can selectively nucleate at the edge of pre-grown WSe2 nanosheets to form CoSe-WSe2 metal-semiconductor lateral heterostructures.Optical microscopy(OM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and atomic force microscopy(AFM)studies reveal distinct contrast across the heterostructure interface.High-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)and selected area electron diffraction(SAED)studies further confirm the microstructure modulation across the heterostructure interface.The field-effect transistors(FETs)of CoSe-WSe2 lateral heterostructures show satisfactory Ohmic contacts and considerably better FET performance over those with deposited Cr/Au contacts,suggesting the in-plane metal-semiconductor junctions may function as improved contacts for the atomically thin electronics.Huifang Ma Kejing Huang Ruixia Wu Zhengwei Zhang Jia Li Bei Zhao Chen Dai Ziwei Huang Hongmei Zhang Xiangdong Yang BoLi Yuan Liu Xiangfeng Duan Xidong Duan 2021InfoMat2021,3,2:1
11Alleviating effects and mechanisms of action of large-leaf yellow tea drinking on diabetes and diabetic nephropathy in mice显示文摘Our previous study found that large-leaf yellow tea(LYT)had interesting hypoglycemic activity in high-fat diet-induced obese mice and highly safety in healthy mice. To study the anti-diabetic potential of LYT, the present study further investigated the preventive effects and mechanisms of action of LYT administration on diabetes and diabetic nephropathy in high-fat diet plus streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice. Results showed that LYT infusions(1/100 and 1/50, m/V)as drinking fluid for 4 weeks reduced diabetic polydipsia and polyuria, enhanced glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity, and lowered fasting blood glucose level. The underlying mechanisms involve downregulation of gluconeogenesis(lower protein levels of TXNIP and FBP and enzyme activity of FBP), upregulation of lipid catabolism(higher protein levels of CPT-1α and PPARα), downregulation of lipogenesis(lower protein level of SREBP-1), and modification of the structure and abundance of gut microbiota to modulate metabolic homeostasis. Moreover, LYT administration prevented diabetic nephropathy, possibly due to reduced glucose-caused osmotic diuresis and lowered levels of renal PKC-β2, NLRP3 as well as membrane PKC-α, AQP2 and glycosylated AQP2 proteins. Taken together, LYT exhibits the activities in alleviating diabetic symptoms, ameliorating glucose and lipid dysmetabolism and fatty liver, and preventing diabetic nephropathy in diabetic mice. 12Treatment of recalcitrant wastewater and hydrogen production via microbial electrolysis cells显示文摘A large amount of real complex wastewaters are generated every year,which leads to a great environmental burden.Various treatment technologies were deployed to remove the contaminants in the wastewaters.However,these actual wastewaters have not been sufficiently treated due to their complex properties,high-concentration organics,incomplete utilization of hard-biodegradable substrates,the high energy input required,etc.Recently,microbial electrolysis cells(MECs),a great potential technology,has emerged for various wastewater treatment,because not only do they demonstrate satisfactory performance during wastewater treatment,but they also generate renewable H2 as a clean energy carrier.Unlike previous reviews,this review introduced the characteristics of every complicated wastewater,and focused on analyzing and summarizing MEC development for wastewater treatment.The performances of MECs were systematically reviewed in terms of organics removal,H2 production,Columbic efficiency,and energy efficiency.MEC performances for treating actual complex wastewaters and producing H2 can be optimized through operation parameters,electrode materials,catalyst materials,etc.In addition,the challenges and opportunities including complexity of wastewaters,instability of H2 production,robust microorganisms,effect of membrane on two-chamber MEC,and integration of MEC with other treatment processes were deeply discussed.Except for the technical feasibility,both environmental feasibility and economic feasibility also need to meet social requirements.This review can indeed provide a basis for high-efficiency treatment and practical commercial applications of recalcitrant wastewaters via MECs in the future.Ruixia Shen Lixin Zhao Jianwen Lu Jamison Watson Buchun Si Xi Chen Haibo Meng Zonglu Yao Jing Feng Zhidan Liu 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,5:1

16Selective hydrogenation of citral over Au-based bimetallic catalysts in supercritical carbon dioxide显示文摘Selective hydrogenation of citral was investigated over Au-based bimetallic catalysts in the environmentally benign supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO_(2)) medium.The catalytic performances were different in citral hydrogenation when Pd or Ru was mixed (physically and chemically) with Au.Compared with the corresponding monometallic catalyst,the total conversion and the selectivity to citronellal (CAL) were significantly enhanced over TiO2 supported Pd and Au bimetallic catalysts (physically and chemically mixed);however,the conversion and selectivity did not change when Ru was physically mixed with Au catalyst compared to the monometallic Ru/TiO2,and the chemically mixed Ru-Au/TiO2 catalyst did not show any activity.The effect of CO_(2) pressure on the conversion of citral and product selectivity was significantly different over the Au/TiO2,Pd-Au/TiO2,and Pd/TiO2 catalysts.It was assumed to be ascribed to the difference in the interactions between Au,Pd nanoparticles and CO_(2) under different CO_(2) pressures.LIU RuiXia ZHAO FengYu 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,7:0
