1Size and elemental composition of dry-deposited particles during a severe dust storm at a coastal site of Eastern China显示文摘Dry-deposited particles were collected during the passage of an extremely strong dust storm in March, 2010 at a coastal site in Qingdao(36.15°N, 120.49°E), a city located in Eastern China. The size, morphology, and elemental composition of the particles were quantified with a scanning electron microscope equipped with an energy dispersive X-ray instrument(SEM–EDX). The particles appeared in various shapes, and their size mainly varied from 0.4to 10 μm, with the mean diameters of 0.5, 1.5, and 1.0 μm before, during, and after the dust storm, respectively. The critical size of the mineral particles settling on the surface in the current case was about 0.3–0.4 μm before the dust storm and about 0.5–0.7 μm during the dust storm. Particles that appeared in high concentration but were smaller than the critical size deposited onto the surface at a small number flux. The elements Al, Si and Mg were frequently detected in all samples, indicating the dominance of mineral particles. The frequency of Al in particles collected before the dust storm was significantly lower than for those collected during and after the dust storm. The frequencies of Cl and Fe did not show obvious changes, while those of S, K and Ca decreased after the dust arrival. 2Evaluation of the Biodiversity Conservation Function in Liaohe Delta Wetland,Northeastern China显示文摘The scientific evaluation of the wetland biodiversity conservation function is the basis of balanced wetland protection and development. Our research sought to provide references for the protection of wetland ecological environments as well as the related planning and management policies. The study established a fitting model for evaluating the biodiversity conservation function in the Liaohe Delta, northeastern China. The new model, the Wetland Biodiversity Conservation Indicator(WBCI), was with four input factors, including the vegetation coverage(VC), habitat suitability index(HI), land use and land cover(LULC) index(LI), and threat factor index(TI) of the LULC type. The values assigned to HI and TI were based on Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs(In VEST)habitat quality models. The weights of all the factors in WBCI were valued with the Principal Component Analysis(PCA). We evaluated the wetland biodiversity conservation function of Panjin, Liaohe Delta, China, by using the WBCI model based on Gaofen-1(GF-1) satellite data in 2018, and the result was verified with In VEST and other models. It showed that the output map was similar to that of In VEST, with the higher-quality habitat including the wetland, tidal flat, water body, and forest, as well as the lower-quality land use types including the paddy field, crop field, construction land, and land used by traffic. The wetland biodiversity conservation function was better in areas less affected by human disturbance, with very abundant species and good-quality habitat. It was poor in areas impacted by more frequent human activities such as the land cultivation, housing, and traffic, which led to the landscape fragmentation. The WBCI model provided a more accurate reflection of the bird distribution than the In VEST model. The WBCI model was able to reflect the difference in quality of each habitat grade, in contrast to the net primary productivity(NPP) method and species distribution models(SDMs). 3Effect of potential HONO sources on peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN)formation in eastern China in winter显示文摘As an important secondary photochemical pollutant,peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN)has been studied over decades,yet its simulations usually underestimate the corresponding observations,especially in polluted areas.Recent observations in north China found unusually high concentrations of PAN during wintertime heavy haze events,but the current model still cannot reproduce the observations,and researchers speculated that nitrous acid(HONO)played a key role in PAN formation.For the first time we systematically assessed the impact of potential HONO sources on PAN formation mechanisms in eastern China using the Weather Research and Forecasting/Chemistry(WRF-Chem)model in February of 2017.The results showed that the potential HONO sources significantly improved the PAN simulations,remarkably accelerated the RO x(sum of hydroxyl,hydroperoxyl,and organic peroxy radicals)cycles,and resulted in 80%–150%enhancements of PAN near the ground in the coastal areas of eastern China and 10%–50%enhancements in the areas around 35–40°N within 3 km during a heavy haze period.The direct precursors of PAN were aldehyde and methylglyoxal,and the primary precursors of PAN were alkenes with C>3,xylenes,propene and toluene.The above results suggest that the potential HONO sources should be considered in regional and global chemical transport models when conducting PAN studies.Jingwei Zhang Yitian Guo Yu Qu Yong Chen Ruipeng Yu Chaoyang Xue Rui Yang Qiang Zhang Xingang Liu Yujing Mu Jing Wang Can Ye Haihan Zhao Qiangqiang Sun Ziwen Wang Junling An 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,8:3
4Dynamic Response of Phragmites australis and Suaeda salsa to Climate Change in the Liaohe Delta Wetland显示文摘Because of its unique geographical location and ecological function, the Liaohe Delta Wetland is important in maintaining regional ecological balance and security. Monitoring and evaluating changes in the wetland are therefore of great importance. We used medium-and high-resolution satellite data, meteorological station data, and site measurement data to analyze changes in the area and spatial distribution of Phragmites australis and Suaeda salsa in the Liaohe Delta Wetland from 1998 to 2017, as well as their growth response to the climate change. The results showed that during 1998–2017, the areas of both P. australis and S. salsa wetlands alternated through periods of decreasing,increasing, and then decreasing trends. The annual change in the area and spatial distribution range of S. salsa fluctuated more than that of P. australis. The annual variation of normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI) in P. australis wetland showed an upward trend from 1998 to 2017. The area of P. australis cover that was improved, unchanged, and decreased accounted for 81.8%, 12.3%, and 5.9%, respectively, of the total area;evaporation and wind speed were the main meteorological factors affecting the NDVI;and contribution rates of the climate change and human activities to the NDVI were 73.2% and 26.8%, respectively. The area with vegetation cover being mainly S.salsa that was improved, unchanged, and decreased accounted for 63.3%, 18.3%, and 18.4%, respectively, of the total area;and no meteorological factors significantly affected the NDVI of S. salsa in the region. 5Trophic Interaction in a Portunus rituberculatus Polyculture Ecosystem Based on Carbon and Nitrogen Stable Isotope Analysis显示文摘Trophic interaction among various biomass groups in a swimming crab Portunus trituberculatus polyculture pond was investigated using carbon and nitrogen stable isotope analysis. The polycultured animal species also included white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei, short-necked clam Ruditapes philippinarum, and redlip mullet Liza haematochila. The mean δ^(13)C value for all the biomass groups in polyculture ecosystem ranged from -25.61‰ to -16.60‰, and the mean δ^(15)N value ranged from 6.80‰ to 13.09‰. Significant difference in the δ^(13)C value was found between particulate organic matter(POM) and sediment organic matter(SOM)(P < 0.05), indicating that these two organic matter pools have different material sources. Assuming that a ^(13)C-enrichment factor of 1.00‰ and a ^(15)N-enrichment factor of 2.70‰ existed between consumer and prey, diets of the four cultured animals were estimated using a stable isotope mixing model. The estimated model results indicated that P. trituberculatus mainly feed on Aloidis laevis; L. vannamei mainly feed on shrimp feed; while A. laevis, R. philippinarum and L. haematochelia mainly feed on POM. Shrimp feed was also an important food source of R. philippinarum and L. haematochelia. The diets of P. trituberculatus, L. vannamei, R. philippinarum, and L. haematochila showed complementary effects in this polyculture ecosystem. 6Insights into the sandwich-like ultrathin Ni-doped MoS_(2)/rGO hybrid as effective sulfur hosts with excellent adsorption and electrocatalysis effects for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘The design of sulfur hosts with high conductivity,large specific surface area,strong adsorption and electrocatalytic ability is crucial to advance high performance lithium-sulfur batteries.Herein,a novel ultrathin sandwich-type Ni-doped MoS_(2)/reduced graphene oxide(denote as Ni-doped MoS_(2)/rGO) hybrid is developed as a sulfur host through a simple one-step hydrothermal route.The two-dimensional layered structure Ni-doped MoS_(2)/rGO hybrid with heterostructure and heteroatom architecture defects not only plays a key role in adsorption of lithium polysulfide but also catalyzes on redox kinetics of sulfur and polysulfide species.Meanwhile,it can contribute to the large specific surface area for Li_(2) S/S_8 deposition,fast Li-ion and electron transportation,thus enhancing the electrocatalytic properties,as confirmed firstly by cyclic voltammetry(CV) results.Due to the adsorption-catalytic synergistic effect,the Ni-doped MoS_(2)/rGO cathode exhibits high specific capacity(1343.6 mA h g^(-1) at 0.2 C,921.6 mA h g^(-1) at 1 C),high coulombic efficiency and an outstanding cycle stability(with the low attenuation rate of 0.077% per cycle over 140 cycles at 0.5 C and 0.11% per cycle over 400 cycles at 1 C,respectively).This work proposes some inspiration for exploring the construction of advanced lithium-sulfur batteries through the rational design defects of atomic structure and electronic states of MoS_(2) as sulfur host.Ran Zhang Yutao Dong Mohammed AAl-Tahan Yingying Zhang Ruipeng Wei Yuhang Ma Changchun Yang Jianmin Zhang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,9:2

8Hollow cubic MnS-CoS_(2)-NC@NC designed by two kinds of nitrogen-doped carbon strategy for sodium ion batteries with ultraordinary rate and cycling performance显示文摘In order to obtain an advanced anode material that exhibits excellent electrochemical performance in sodium ion batteries,a hollow nanocube MnS-CoS_(2)-NC@NC(NC=nitrogen-doped carbon)with two kinds of nitrogen-doped carbon was synthesized by simple one-step calcination.One of the two kinds of nitrogen-doped carbon comes from the organic ligands in the precursor being mixed in the sulfide after calcination,and the other comes from the calcination of the coated polydopamine(PDA)to form a carbon shell wrapped outside the sulfide.The characteristic nanostructure with two kinds of nitrogen-doped carbon can not only improve the overall conductivity of the electrode material,which is obviously beneficial to the rapid transmission of sodium ions and thus outstanding rate performance,but also can alleviate volume expansion to maintain battery cycle stability.In the half-cell,the MnS-CoS_(2)-NC@NC electrode not only provides an ultra-high specific capacity of 608.5 mA·h·g^(-1)at 0.2 A·g^(-1)for 100 cycles,but also shows an outstanding rate performance of 560.5 mA·h·g^(-1)at 5.0 A·g^(-1)for 1,100 cycles.Even in a full-cell composed with Na3V2(PO4)3 as the positive material,it can still maintain a capacity of 436.7 mA·h·g^(-1)after 900 cycles at 1.0 A·g^(-1).In order to explore its sodium storage mechanism,in-situ and ex-situ X-ray diffraction(XRD)tests were carried out to prove that CoS_(2)and MnS were reduced to produce metallic Co and metallic Mn during the discharging process,respectively,and reversibly returned during the charging process.Ruipeng Wei Yutao Dong Yingying Zhang Xiyang Kang Xia Sheng Jianmin Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1

12MOCVD derived double-sided YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-δ) films on Y_2O_3 /YSZ/CeO_2 buffered textured metal substrates显示文摘We have successfully employed metal-organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD)technique to simultaneously deposit double-sided YBa2Cu3O7-δ(YBCO)films on both sides of Y2O3/yttria-stabilized zirconia(YSZ)/CeO2(YYC)buffered biaxially textured Ni-5 at.%W substrates,which is of great prospect to cut the production cost of YBCO coated conductors.X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that both sides of YBCO film were purely c-axis oriented and highly textured.Theφ-scan of(005)YBCO andφ-scan of(103)YBCO yielded full width at half maximum(FWHM)values of 4.9°and 6.6°for one side of double-sided YBCO film,respectively,as well as 4.4°and 6.4°for the other side.The current transportation measurements performed on such double-sided 500 nm-thickness YBCO films showed the self-field critical current density(Jc)at 77 K of0.6 MA/cm2 and 1.2 MA/cm2,respectively.Further research is in the process of exploring new solution to improve the Jc in practice.XIONG Jie ZHANG Fei XIA YuDong LIU Xin ZHAO RuiPeng ZHAO XiaoHui TAO BoWan 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,4:0
13Fast electrochemical activation of the broadband saturable absorption of tungsten oxide nanoporous film显示文摘The on-demand modulation of defects in materials for the effective modulation of optical nonlinearity is desirable,while it remains a great challenge.In this work,we demonstrate that electrochemical activation is a facile and convenient approach to modulating the broadband third-order nonlinear absorption of nanoporous tungsten oxide(WO3-x)thin film.The film does not exhibit optical nonlinearity at the initial state,while shows a distinct saturable absorption under an applied voltage of-2.5 V with the excitation of 515,800,and 1,030 nm laser.The nonlinear absorption coefficient(β_(eff))is-766.38±6.67 cm·GW^(-1) for 1,030 nm laser,-624.24±17.15 cm·GW-1 for 800 nm laser,and-120.70±11.49 cm·GW^(-1) for 515 nm laser,and the performance is competitive among inorganic saturable absorbers.The activation is accomplished in 2 min.The performance enhancement is ascribed to the formation of abundant in-gap defect states because of the reduction of the tungsten atoms,and a Pauli-blocking effect occurs during the excitation of in-gap defect states.The small feature size of WO_(3-x)(-12 nm)enables the effective and fast introduction and removal of the defects in porous film,and accordingly the fast and broadband modulation of optical nonlinearity.Our results suggest a controllable,effective,and convenient approach to tuning the nonlinear absorption of materials.Ruipeng Hou Hui Li Mengjuan Diao Yanhui Sun Ying Liang Zhiyang Yu Zhipeng Huang Chi Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:0

15Determining an optimal control strategy for anthropogenic VOC emissions in China based on source emissions and reactivity显示文摘An evidence-based control strategy for emission reduction of VOC sources can effectively solve the regional PM2.5and O3compound pollution in China.We estimated the anthropogenic VOC emission inventory in China in 2018 and established a source profile database containing 129 sources based on localized detection and the latest research results.Then,the distribution of the ozone formation potential(OFP)and secondary organic aerosol formation potential(SOAFP)for emission sources was analyzed.Moreover,priority control routes for VOC emission sources were proposed for different periods.Anthropogenic VOC emissions in China reached 27,211.8 Gg in 2018,and small passenger cars,industrial protective coatings,biomass burning,heavy trucks,printing,asphalt paving,oil storage and transportation,coking,and oil refining were the main contributors.Industrial protective coatings,small passenger cars,and biomass burning all contributed significantly to OFP and SOAFP.Priority in emission reduction control should be given to industrial protective coatings,small passenger cars,heavy trucks,coking,printing,asphalt paving,chemical fibers,and basic organic chemical sources over the medium and long term in China.In addition,the priority control route for VOC emission sources should be adjusted according to the variations in VOC emission characteristics and regional differences,so as to obtain the maximum environmental benefits.Ruipeng Wang Xiaoqi Wang Shuiyuan Cheng Jiaxian Zhu Xinyu Zhang Long Cheng Kai Wang 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2:0

17Preparation of B_(2)O_(3)-ZnO-SiO_(2)Glass and Sintering Densification of Copper Terminal Electrode Applied in Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors显示文摘B_(2)O_(3)-Zn O-SiO_(2)(BZS)glass containing Cu O with excellent acid resistance,wetting properties,and high-temperature sintering density was prepared by high temperature melting method and then applied in copper terminal electrode for multilayer ceramic capacitors(MLCC)applications.The structure and property characterization of B_(2)O_(3)-Zn O-SiO_(2)glass,including X-ray diffraction,FTIR,scanning electron microscopy,high-temperature microscopy,and differential scanning calorimetry,indicated that the addition of CuO improved the glass’s acid resistance and glass-forming ability.The wettability and acid resistance of this glass were found to be excellent when CuO content was 1.50 wt%.Compared to BZS glass,the CuO-added glass exhibited excellent wettability to copper powder and corrosion resistance to the plating solution.The sintered copper electrode films prepared using the glass with CuO addition had better densification and lower sintering temperature of 750℃.Further analysis of the sintering mechanism reveals that the flowability and wettability of the glass significantly impact the sintering densification of the copper terminal electrodes.YUE Yi LI Hong CAO Xiuhua ZHANG Xuehui HUANG Jun HUANG Xuye ZHANG Yongqiang XU Ruipeng XIONG Dehua 2023Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2023,38,5:0
18Synthesis and characterization of carbon-bridged bis(phenolate) lanthanum alkoxides and their catalytic behavior for the polymerization of L-lactide显示文摘Four lanthanum alkoxides stabilized by a carbon-bridged bis(phenolate) ligand were synthesized and their catalytic behavior for the ring-opening polymerization of L-lactide was explored. Reactions of [(MBMP)LaCp(THF) 2 ] (MBMP 2 = 2,2′-methylene-bis(6-tert-butyl-4-methyl phenoxo)) with HOCH 2 Ph, HOCH 2 CF 3 , HOCH(CH 3 ) 2 , and HOCH 2 CH 2 N(CH 3 ) 2 , respectively, in a 1:1 molar ratio in THF gave the dimeric lanthanum alkoxo complexes [(MBMP)Ln(μ-OR)(THF) 2 ] 2 (OR = OCH 2 Ph(1), OCH 2 CF 3 (2), OCH(CH 3 ) 2 (3), OCH 2 CH 2 N(CH 3 ) 2 (4)]. These complexes were well characterized, and the definitive molecular structure of complex 1 was determined. It was found that complexes 1 to 4 are efficient initiators for the ring-opening polymerization of L-lactide.
