Orbit determination and time synchronization for a GEO/IGSO satellite navigation constellation with regional tracking network显示文摘Aiming at regional services, the space segment of COMPASS (Phase I) satellite navigation system is a constellation of Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO),Inclined Geostationary Earth Orbit (IGSO) and Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites.Precise orbit determination (POD) for the satellites is limited by the geographic distribution of regional tracking stations.Independent time synchronization (TS) system is developed to supplement the regional tracking network, and satellite clock errors and orbit data may be obtained by simultaneously processing both tracking data and TS data.Consequently, inconsistency between tracking system and TS system caused by remaining instrumental errors not calibrated may decrease navigation accuracy. On the other hand,POD for the mixed constellation of GEO/IGSO/MEO with the regional tracking network leads to parameter estimations that are highly correlated.Notorious example of correlation is found between GEO's orbital elements and its clock errors. We estimate orbital elements and clock errors for a 3GEO+2IGSO constellation in this study using a multi-satellite precise orbit determination (MPOD) strategy, with which clock error elimination algorithm is applied to separate orbital and clock estimates to improve numerical efficiency.Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) data are used to evaluate User Ranging Error (URE),which is the orbital error projected on a receiver's line-of-sight direction.Two-way radio-wave time transfer measurements are used to evaluate clock errors.Experimenting with data from the regional tracking network,we conclude that the fitting of code data is better than 1 m in terms of Root-Mean-Square (RMS),and fitting of carrier phase is better than 1 cm.For orbital evaluation, difference between computed receiver-satellite ranging based on estimated orbits and SLR measurements is better than 1 m (RMS).For clock estimates evaluation,2-hour linear-fitting shows that the satellite clock rates are about 1.E-10 s/s,while receiver clock rates are about 1×10 13-1×10 12 s/s.For the 72-hour POD experiment, the average differences between POD satellite clock rates estimates and clock measurements based on TS system are about 1×10 13 s/s,and for receiver clock rates, the differences are about 1×10 15 s/s. | ZHOU ShanShi HU XiaoGong WU Bin LIU Li QU WeiJing GUO Rui HE Feng CAO YueLing Wu XiaoLi ZHU LingFeng SHI Xin TAN HongLi | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,6: | 44

Risk factors of poor prognosis and portal vein tumor thrombosis after curative resection of solitary hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘BACKGROUND:Predictors of poor prognosis of solitary hepatocellular carcinoma(SHCC),a subgroup encompassing most patients with the malignancy, are still controversial.Hence, risk factors for portal vein tumor thrombosis(PVTT) in SHCC are obscure. The present study was designed to address this issue.METHOD:Clinicopathological and follow-up data for 156 consecutive patients with SHCC following curative hepatic resection were analyzed using uni-and multi-variate analyses.RESULTS:Univariate analysis showed that PVTT,tumornode-metastasis(TNM) stage,Edmondson-Steiner grade and preoperative serum alpha-fetoprotein(AFP) level were associated with the overall and disease-free survival, whereas tumor size only influenced the overall survival. In multivariate Cox regression tests,Edmondson-Steiner grade and TNM stage were independent prognostic markers for both overall and diseasefree survival. In addition, the Chi-square test showed that AFP level and Edmondson-Steiner grade were correlated with PVTT.Among them, only Edmondson-Steiner grade was shown to be of independent significance for PVTT in multi-variate logistic regression analysis.Additionally,AFP,the sole preoperative factor for PVTT,was not adequately sensitive and specific.CONCLUSIONS:Factors relating to post-surgical prognosis and PVTT in SHCC are all tumor-related.Of these,EdmondsonSteiner grade and TNM stage might be of particular importance in survival analysis. In addition, accurate prediction of PVTT by clinicopathological parameters before surgery remains difficult. | Li Zhou Jing-An Rui Shao-Bin Wang Shu-Guang Chen Qiang Qu | 2013 | Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2013,12,1: | 17
Distributed Power Control for Energy Conservation in Hybrid Cellular Network with Device-to-Device Communication显示文摘Device-to-Device(D2D) communication has been proposed as a promising implementation of green communication to benefit the existed cellular network. In order to limit cross-tier interference while explore the gain of short-range communication,we devise a series of distributed power control(DPC) schemes for energy conservation(EC)and enhancement of radio resource utilization in the hybrid system.Firstly,a constrained opportunistic power control model is built up to take advantage of the interference avoidance methodology in the presence of service requirement and power constraint. Then, biasing scheme and admission control are added to evade ineffective power consumption and maintain the feasibility of the system.Upon feasibility,a non-cooperative game is further formulated to exploit the profit in EC with minor influence on spectral efficiency(SE).The convergence of the DPC schemes is validated and their performance is confirmed via simulation results. | TANG Rui ZHAO Jihong QU Hua | 2014 | China Communications2014,11,3: | 13
Procalcitionin as a diagnostic marker to distinguish upper and lower gastrointestinal perforation显示文摘AIM To assess the accuracy of serum procalcitionin(PCT)as a diagnostic marker in verifying upper and lower gastrointestinal perforation(GIP).METHODS This retrospective study included 46 patients from the surgical intensive care unit(ICU)of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University who were confirmed to have GIP between June 2013 and December 2016.Demographic and clinical patient data were recorded on admission to ICU.Patients were divided into upper(n=19)and lower(n=27)GIP groups according to the perforation site(above or below Treitz ligament).PCT and WBC count was obtained before laparotomy and then compared between groups.Meanwhile, the diagnostic accuracy of PCT was analyzed.RESULTS Patients with lower GIP exhibited significantly higher APACHE II score,SOFA score and serum PCT level than patients with upper GIP(P=0.017,0.004,and0.001,respectively).There was a significant positive correlation between serum PCT level and APACHE II score or SOFA score(r=0.715 and r=0.611,respectively),while there was a significant negative correlation between serum PCT level and prognosis(r=-0.414).WBC count was not significantly different between the two groups, and WBC count showed no significant correlation with serum PCT level,APACHE II score,SOFA score or prognosis. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of PCT level to distinguish upper or lower GIP was 0.778.Patients with a serum PCT level above 17.94 ng/d L had a high likelihood of lower GIP,with a sensitivity of 100%and a specificity of 42.1%.CONCLUSION Serum PCT level is a reliable and accurate diagnostic marker in identifying upper or lower GIP before laparotomy. | Yang Gao Kai-Jiang Yu Kai Kang Hai-Tao Liu Xing Zhang Rui Huang Jing-Dong Qu Si-Cong Wang Rui-Jin Liu Yan-Song Liu Hong-Liang Wang | 2017 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2017,23,24: | 12

Characteristics and formation mechanism of regional haze episodes in the Pearl River Delta of China显示文摘To investigate the characteristics and the specific mechanism of continuous haze, comprehensive measurements were conducted from 15 October to 19 November in the Atmospheric Environment Monitoring Super-Station in Heshan of Guangdong province.Five haze episodes occurred in October and November 2014 in the Pearl River Delta(PRD)region. The meteorological parameters, gas data, chemical compositions, and optical parameters of the aerosols were obtained. Among these events, the second haze episode, with the highest concentration of PM2.5 of 187.51 μg/m^3, was the most severe. NO^3-was always higher than SO_4^(2-), which indicated that motor vehicles played an important role in the haze, even though the oxidation rate from SO_2 to SO_4^(2-)was faster than that of NOXto NO_3^-. The difference between the hourly averages of Na+and K+during the haze episode and clean days was small, implying that straw combustion and sea salt had no significant effect on the occurrence of haze, and the backward trajectories of the air masses also conformed with this result. The air pollutants were difficult to disperse because of the significant decrease in the planetary boundary layer(PBL) height. Relative humidity played a crucial role in the formation of haze by leading to hygroscopic growth of the diameter of aerosols. | Wenguang Li Xingang Liu Yuanhang Zhang Kang Sun Yusheng Wu Rui Xue Limin Zeng Yu Qu Junling An | 2018 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2018,30,1: | 11
Internet of Things to network smart devices for ecosystem monitoring显示文摘Smart, real-time, low-cost, and distributed ecosystem monitoring is essential for understanding and managing rapidly changing ecosystems. However, new techniques in the big data era have rarely been introduced into operational ecosystem monitoring, particularly for fragile ecosystems in remote areas. We introduce the Internet of Things(IoT) techniques to establish a prototype ecosystem monitoring system by developing innovative smart devices and using IoT technologies for ecosystem monitoring in isolated environments. The developed smart devices include four categories: large-scale and nonintrusive instruments to measure evapotranspiration and soil moisture, in situ observing systems for CO2 and d13 C associated with soil respiration, portable and distributed devices for monitoring vegetation variables, and Bi-CMOS cameras and pressure trigger sensors for terrestrial vertebrate monitoring. These new devices outperform conventional devices and are connected to each other via wireless communication networks. The breakthroughs in the ecosystem monitoring IoT include new data loggers and longdistance wireless sensor network technology that supports the rapid transmission of data from devices to wireless networks. The applicability of this ecosystem monitoring IoT is verified in three fragile ecosystems, including a karst rocky desertification area, the National Park for Amur Tigers, and the oasis-desert ecotone in China. By integrating these devices and technologies with an ecosystem monitoring information system, a seamless data acquisition, transmission, processing, and application IoT is created. The establishment of this ecosystem monitoring IoT will serve as a new paradigm for ecosystem monitoring and therefore provide a platform for ecosystem management and decision making in the era of big data. | Xin Li Ning Zhao Rui Jin Shaomin Liu Xiaomin Sun Xuefa Wen Dongxiu Wu Yan Zhou Jianwen Guo Shiping Chen Ziwei Xu Mingguo Ma Tianming Wang Yonghua Qu Xinwei Wang Fangming Wu Yuke Zhou | 2019 | Science Bulletin2019,64,17: | 10

Interaction between Schwann cells and other cells during repair of peripheral nerve injury显示文摘Peripheral nerve injury(PNI)is common and, unlike damage to the central nervous system injured nerves can effectively regenerate depending on the location and severity of injury.Peripheral myelinating glia,Schwann cells(SCs),interact with various cells in and around the injury site and are important for debris elimination, repair, and nerve regeneration.Following PNI,Wallerian degeneration of the distal stump is rapidly initiated by degeneration of damaged axons followed by morphologic changes in SCs and the recruitment of circulating macrophages.Interaction with fibroblasts from the injured nerve microenvironment also plays a role in nerve repair. The replication and migration of injury-induced dedifferentiated SCs are also important in repairing the nerve. In particular,SC migration stimulates axonal regeneration and subsequent myelination of regenerated nerve fibers. This mobility increases SC interactions with other cells in the nerve and the exogenous environment, which influence SC behavior post-injury.Following PNI,SCs directly and indirectly interact with other SCs,fibroblasts, and macrophages. In addition, the inter-and intracellular mechanisms that underlie morphological and functional changes in SCs following PNI still require further research to explain known phenomena and less understood cell-specific roles in the repair of the injured peripheral nerve. This review provides a basic assessment of SC function post-PNI,as well as a more comprehensive evaluation of the literature concerning the SC interactions with macrophages and fibroblasts that can influence SC behavior and, ultimately, repair of the injured nerve. | Wen-Rui Qu Zhe Zhu Jun Liu De-Biao Song Heng Tian Bing-Peng Chen Rui Li Ling-Xiao Deng | 2021 | Neural Regeneration Research2021,16,1: | 8
Study on intelligent control technology for forming steel pipe of pipeline with JCO process显示文摘Based on plastic bending engineering theory and machine vision technology, the intelligent control technology for forming steel pipe with JCO process is presented in this paper. By ‘twice pre-bending method’ in the first forming step, the springback law can be obtained. With the springback law and the target angle, the exact punch displacement which determines the formed angle in each bending step is predicted. In the succedent forming steps, the bending process is carried out with the exact punch displacement by real-time revising the springback law. And the angle error in each forming step is calculated by comparing the actual formed angle with the target angle. By conducting compensation for the last angle error in the next forming step, each precise bending process step is realized. A system of intelligent control technology for forming the steel pipe was developed. A calibration method is proposed to calculate the exterior parameters of the CCD camera, in which the equilateral triangle is em-ployed as the calibrating board and only one image needs to be captured. A mathematical model, which converts the angle in the image into the actual formed angle, is derived. The experimental results showed that the ellipticity of the formed pipes was less than 1.5% and the high-quality pipes can be manufactured without the worker's operating experience by employing the in-telligent control technology. | ZHAO Jun LI Jian QU XiaoYang WANG Gang SUN HongLei MA Rui | 2011 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,10: | 7
The ex vivo and in vivo biological performances of graphene oxide and the impact of surfactant on graphene oxide's biocompatibility显示文摘Graphene oxide(GO)displays promising properties for biomedical applications including drug delivery and cancer therapeutics. However,GO exposure also raises safety concerns such as potential side effects on health. Here, the biological effects of GO suspended in phosphate buffered saline(PBS)with or without 1% nonionic surfactant Tween 80 were investigated.Based on the ex vivo experiments,Tween 80 significantly affected the interaction between GO and peripheral blood from mice.GO suspension in PBS tended to provoke the aggregation of diluted blood cells, which could be prevented by the addition of Tween 80.After intravenous administration,GO suspension with or without 1% Tween 80 was quickly eliminated by the mononuclear phagocyte system.Nevertheless,GO suspension without Tween 80 showed greater accumulation in lungs than that containing 1% Tween 80.In contrast, less GO was found in livers for GO suspension compared to Tween 80 assisted GO suspension.Organs including hearts, livers, lungs, spleens, kidneys, brains, and testes did not reveal histological alterations. The indexes of peripheral blood showed no change upon GO exposure. Our results together demonstrated that Tween 80 could greatly alter GO's biological performance and determine the pattern of its biodistribution in mice. | Guangbo Qu Xiaoyan Wang Qian Liu Rui Liu Nuoya Yin Juan Ma Liqun Chen Jiuyang He Sijin Liu Guibin Jiang | 2013 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,5: | 7
IL-6 and INF-γ levels in patients with brucellosis in severe epidemic region,Xinjiang,China显示文摘Background:The incidence of brucellosis, which is caused by the Brucella species of bacteria,is rapidly rising worldwide;however, few studies have investigated the immune response to this pathogen and clinical biochemical features. In this paper,we examined the levels of various cytokines and inflammatory factors as well as clinical course characteristics in patients with brucellosis,in order to provide evidence for the diagnosis, assessment, and prognosis of this infectious disease. Methods:A total of 191 brucellosis inpatients(50 acute cases and 141 chronic cases),as well as 60 healthy control subjects, were included in the analysis. We investigated changes in the levels of six cytokines(IL-4,IL-6,IL-10,IL-17,TNF-α,INF-γ)and related clinical biochemical markers in patients with acute and chronic brucellosis in Xinjiang,China.Possible factors were statistically analyzed using the t test,χ2 test,z test and a multivariate logistic stepwise regression test. Results:We found that IL-4,IL-6,IL-10,IL-17,IFN-γ,and TNF-αlevels were higher in those with brucellosis than in controls(P<0.05).With regard to disease progression, procalcitonin(PCT)and C-reactive protein(CRP)levels were significantly higher in those with an acute infection compared to chronic cases(P<0.05).We found that the expression of all six cytokines tested was closely related to the degree of brucellosis using univariate logistic regression;however, only IL-6 and INF-γlevels were independent factors associated with the severity of brucellosis. Conclusions:Assessing cytokine levels in patients with acute and chronic brucellosis is not only useful for detecting the immune response, but can also be indicative of the severity of brucellosis. In particular,we propose IL-6 and INF-γlevels may be useful independent predictive factors in the clinical evaluation and diagnosis of brucellosis. | Zhi-Qiang Lin Guo-Yue Lin Wen-Wen He Chi Zhang Rui Zhang Yuan-Da Li Fan Wang Ying Qin Li Duan Dou-Dou Zhao Xiao-Juan Qu Hui Gao Hai Jiang | 2020 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2020,9,3: | 7
Characteristics and advantages of adeno-associated virus vector-mediated gene therapy for neurodegenerative diseases显示文摘Common neurodegenerative diseases of the central nervous system are characterized by progressive damage to the function of neurons, even leading to the permanent loss of function. Gene therapy via gene replacement or gene correction provides the potential for transformative therapies to delay or possibly stop further progression of the neurodegenerative disease in affected patients. Adeno-associated virus has been the vector of choice in recent clinical trials of therapies for neurodegenerative diseases due to its safety and efficiency in mediating gene transfer to the central nervous system. This review aims to discuss and summarize the progress and clinical applications of adeno-associated virus in neurodegenerative disease in central nervous system. Results from some clinical trials and successful cases of central neurodegenerative diseases deserve further study and exploration. | Yuan Qu Yi Liu Ahmed Fayyaz Noor Johnathan Tran Rui Li | 2019 | Neural Regeneration Research2019,14,6: | 6

Petroleum Geology in Deepwater Settings in a Passive Continental Margin of a Marginal Sea:A Case Study from the South China Sea显示文摘Deepwater oil and gas exploration has become a global hotspot in recent years and the study of the deep waters of marginal seas is an important frontier research area. The South China Sea(SCS)is a typical marginal sea that includes Paleo SCS and New SCS tectonic cycles. The latter includes continental marginal rifting, intercontinental oceanic expansion and oceanic shrinking, which controlled the evolution of basins, and the generation, migration and accumulation of hydrocarbons in the deepwater basins on the continental margin of the northern SCS.In the Paleogene, the basins rifted along the margin of the continent and were filled mainly with sediments in marine-continental transitional environments. In the Neogene–Quaternary, due to thermal subsidence,neritic-abyssal facies sediments from the passive continental margin of the SCS mainly filled the basins. The source rocks include mainly Oligocene coal-bearing deltaic and marine mudstones, which were heated by multiple events with high geothermal temperature and terrestrial heat flow, resulting in the generation of gas and oil.The faults, diapirs and sandstones controlled the migration of hydrocarbons that accumulated principally in a large canyon channel,a continental deepwater fan,and a shelf-margin delta. | ZHANG Gongcheng FENG Congjun YAO Xingzong JI Mo YANG Haizhang QU Hongjun ZENG Qingbo ZHAO Zhao SUN Rui | 2021 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,1: | 6
Joint Optimization of Channel Allocation,Link Assignment and Power Control for Device-to-Device Communication Underlaying Cellular Network显示文摘Device-to-Device(D2D) communication has been proposed to facilitate cellular network with system capacity(SC) and quality of service(QoS).We consider the design of link assignment(LA),channel allocation(CA)and power control(PC) in D2D-aided content delivery scenario for both user fairness(UF)and system throughput(ST) under QoS requirement.Due to the complexity of the problem,we decompose it into two components:CA is formulated from graph perspective to mitigate severe co-channel interference, which turns out to be the Max K-cut problem;LA and PC are jointly optimized to utilize the gain achieved from CA for supreme performance, and specifically, genetic algorithm(GA) is adopted to optimize LA,but when deriving the fitness of each chromosome,PC optimization will be involved. Thanks to numerical results,we elucidate the efficacy of our scheme. | TANG Rui ZHAO Jihong QU Hua | 2015 | China Communications2015,12,12: | 6

Effects of preventive acupuncture or moxibustion at the Guanyuan acupoint on expression of interleukin-2 and its receptors in hypothalamus, serum, and uterus of menopausal rats显示文摘BACKGROUND: Previous studies have indicated preventive acupuncture and moxibustion at the Guanyuan point have positive effects on the immune system of menopausal rats. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of preventive acupuncture or moxibustion at the Guanyuan point on interleukin-2 (IL-2) and its receptor (IL-2R mRNA) levels in hypothalamus, serum, and uterus of menopausal rats. DESIGN: Randomized control animal experiment. SETTING: School of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. MATERIALS: This study was performed at the Laboratory of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from November 2004 to July 2005. The vaginal smear method was used to determine the estrus cycle of 9.5-month-old Sprague Dawley (SD) female rats. Three continuous estrus cycles were measured, and 160 rats with estrus cycle disorder, weighing (300 ± 20) g, were included in this study. The rats were randomly divided into four groups: preventive acupuncture group (n =48), preventive moxibustion group (n =48), model groups (n =48), and 10-month-old group (n =16). Sixteen 3.5-month-old healthy SD female rats, weighing (240 ± 20) g, were also assigned to the young group. All rats were clean grade and were purchased from the Laboratory Animal Center, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. The experiment was in accordance with animal ethics standards. METHODS: Acupuncture was applied to the preventive acupuncture group at 10 months of age. The needle was inserted upward and perpendicularly two fen to a point that was two fen below the Guanyuan point. The rats freely moved around during needle retention (20 minutes). Acupuncture was administered twice a week and continued for eight weeks. A moxa cone (small) moxibustion was applied to the preventive moxibustion group at 10 months of age. The rats were caught gently and kept at the same position as the preventive acupuncture group. The moxa cone was ignited and held to the Guanyuan point directly. Only one moxa cone was used each time. After moxibustion, the local skin turned slightly red. Moxibustion was used twice a week and continued for eight weeks. Nothing except gently catching and lying was administered to the model group and the young group. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Radioimmunoassay, in situ hybridization, and similar methods were employed to detect IL-2 in serum and the uterus, as well as IL-2R mRNA expression in the hypothalamus and uterus arcuate nuclei, of the preventive acupuncture group, preventive moxibustion group, model groups (at 12, 14, and 16 months), 10 month old group (at 10 months), and the young group (at 4 months). RESULTS: All 176 rats were included in the final analysis. ① IL-2R mRNA: IL-2R mRNA expression decreased significantly in the uterus of 12-, 14-, and 16-month-old model groups and in the hypothalamus of 14- and 16-month-old model groups (P < 0.05-0.01). Compared to the same month-aged model groups, the expression of IL-2R mRNA increased significantly in the hypothalamus and uterus of 16-month-old preventive acupuncture or moxibustion groups (P < 0.05-0.01).② IL-2: IL-2 in serum of 12- and 14-month-old model groups and in the uterus of 12-, 14-, and 16-month-old model groups decreased significantly compared to the young group (P < 0.05-0.01). IL-2 serum levels increased significantly in the 16-month-old group with preventive moxibustion; in addition, IL-2 expression levels increased significantly in the uterus of the 12-month-old group with preventive moxibustion, as well as the 12- and 16-month-old groups with preventive acupuncture (P < 0.05-0.01). CONCLUSION: As a rat ages and becomes menopausal, IL-2R mRNA expression in the hypothalamus anduterus, as well as IL-2 levels in the serum and uterus, decrease. However, preventive acupuncture and preventive moxibustion can repress the decrease to some extent. This effect is even greater in the late stages of menopause (16-month-old rats). | Xiaohong Li Yuwei He Jieping Xie Lufen Zhang Dengfang Zhou Jinghui Zhai Rui Zhan Jun Zhou Limin Qu Yangchun Tian | 2008 | Neural Regeneration Research2008,3,1: | 5
