| 2 | Mycoplasma pneumoniae Macrolide Resistance and MLVA Typing in Children in Beijing,China,in 2016:Is It Relevant?显示文摘Objective The aim of this study is to investigate the macrolide resistance rate and molecular type with multiple-locus variable-number tandem-repeat analysis(MLVA)of Mycoplasma pneumoniae of Beijing in 2016 in pediatric patients.Methods Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(PCR)was used to identify M.pneumoniae,and MLVA was performed.The domain V of the 23 S rRNA was sequenced to detect macrolide-resistant point mutations.We also investigated the activities of antibiotics against M.pneumoniae isolates in vitro.Results The PCR detection rate of M.pneumoniae in children in Beijing was 40%,and the macrolide resistance rate was 66%.The A2063 G mutation in the 23 S rRNA V region is the dominant mutation(137/146,93.84%),whereas the A2064 G mutation is rare(9/146,6.16%).Seventy-three samples were typed successfully by MLVA typing,including 86.3%(63/73)were MLVA type 4-5-7-2,and 13.7%(10/73)were MLVA type 3-5-6-2.No other types were found.No strains were resistant to levofloxacin or tetracycline.Conclusion In 2016,a specific decrease in the macrolide resistance rate occurred in Beijing.The detection rate and macrolide resistance rate of outpatients are lower than those of inpatients.The A2063 G mutants M.pneumoniae have high levels of resistance to erythromycin and azithromycin.The primary MLVA type is 4-5-7-2,followed by 3-5-6-2.No other MLVA types were detected.No strains resistant to tetracycline or levofloxacin were found in vitro. | DOU Hai Wei TIAN Xiu Jun XIN De Li WEI Ran ZHOU Wei WANG Hong QIN Xuan Guang SHAO Jun Yan XU Bao Ping GE Li Xia SHI Da Wei | 2020 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2020,33,12: | 9 |
| 3 | Synthesis,structure and optical properties of novel thermally robust Dy^(3+)-doped Ca_(9)Sc(PO_(4))_(7) phosphors for NUV-excited white LEDs显示文摘The powder samples of Ca_(9)Sc(PO_(4))_(7):xDy^(^(3+))white emitting phosphors were prepared via a solid state reaction technique.The Ca_(9)Sc(PO_(4))_(7):Dy^(3+)samples were researched by using the GSAS Rietveld refinement and X-ray diffraction(XRD) methods,and SEM images and elemental maps were recorded.Under 350 nm excitatio n,the emission spectra of Ca_(9)Sc(PO_(4))_(7):xDy^(3+)samples have two obvious peaks and one weak peak at 484,572 and660 nm,corresponding to the characteristic electron transitions of(^(4)F_(9/2)→ ^(6)H_(15/2),blue),(^(4)F_(9/2)→ ^(6)H_(13/2),yellow) and(^(4)F_(9/2)→ 6 H11/2,red),respectively.The concentration quenching effect,decay lifetime and thermal quenching of the as-synthesized Ca_(9)Sc(PO_(4))_(7):Dy^(3+)samples were researched systematically.The Ca_(9)Sc(PO_(4))_(7):0.02 Dy^(3+)phosphor possesses a good thermal stability,of which the emission intensity at 423 K can maintain 79% of the initial value(273 K).In addition,through the study of the chro maticity coordinates of the Ca_(9)Sc(PO_(4))_(7):0.02 Dy^(3+)phosphor,it is found that it is located in the white region,and the Commission Internationalede L’Eclairage(CIE) chromaticity coordinates are(0.339,0.389),The above results show that Ca_(9)Sc(PO_(4))_(7):xDy^(3+)phosphors can be excellent candidate material for applications in NUV-excited white LEDs. | Haiyan Wu Huimin Li Lihong Jiang Ran Pang Su Zhang Da Li Guanyu Liu Chengyu Li Jing Feng Hongjie Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,3: | 4 |

| 20 | Mucosal immune responses and protective efficacy in yellow catfish after immersion vaccination with bivalent inactivated Aeromonas veronii and Edwardsiella ictaluri vaccine显示文摘Mucosal vaccination,which has the potential to induce both mucosal and systemic immune responses,is considered the most suitable method of preventing infectious diseases in farmed fish.Aeromonas veronii and Edwardsiella ictaluri are two pathogenic bacteria found in yellow catfish and often infect the fish through mucosal surfaces.Delivery of a bivalent inactivated vaccine by injection has been shown to induce a strong systemic immune response against both bacterial infections.However,mucosal immune responses and protective efficiency induced by this inactivated vaccine administrated via immersion are yet to be investigated.We developed a bivalent vaccine containing formalin-inactivated A.veronii and E.ictaluri and evaluated the immune response in yellow catfish after immersion vaccination using body fluids biochemistry indices,agglutinating antibody titers,and the expression level of immune-related genes in the skin,gills,spleen,and head kidney.The activities of innate immune-related enzymes and specific agglutination antibody titers in body fluids,as well as the expression of innate and adaptive immune-related genes in both the mucosal and systemic tissues of vaccinated fish,were significantly higher than that in control fish.Next,we assessed the protective efficacy by a challenge model of virulent strains of E.ictaluri and A.veronii.The relative survival percent of vaccinated fish was 80%and 87%after challenging fish with E.ictaluri and A.veronii,respectively,which was higher than unvaccinated control fish(43%and 57%).These results confirm that the bivalent inactivated vaccine administered via immersion induces a strong mucosal immune response and confers good protection against both E.ictaluri and A.veronii.Our results also reinforce the notion that immersion vaccination could stimulate both mucosal and systemic immunity contributing to protection against pathogens. | Wei Guang Kong Da Cheng Qin Qing Jiang Mu Zhao Ran Dong Yang Zhi Luo Tao Shan Ai Zhen Xu | 2022 | Water Biology and Security2022,1,2: | 0 |
