| 1 | Continued evolution of the Eurasian avian-like H1N1 swine influenza viruses in China显示文摘Animal influenza viruses continue to pose a threat to human public health. The Eurasian avian-like H1N1(EA H1N1) viruses are widespread in pigs throughout Europe and China and have caused human infections in several countries, indicating their pandemic potential. To carefully monitor the evolution of the EA H1N1 viruses in nature, we collected nasal swabs from 103,110pigs in 22 provinces in China between October 2013 and December 2019, and isolated 855 EA H1N1 viruses. Genomic analysis of 319 representative viruses revealed that these EA H1N1 viruses formed eight different genotypes through reassortment with viruses of other lineages circulating in humans and pigs, and two of these genotypes(G4 and G5) were widely distributed in pigs.Animal studies indicated that some strains have become highly pathogenic in mice and highly transmissible in ferrets via respiratory droplets. Moreover, two-thirds of the EA H1N1 viruses reacted poorly with ferret serum antibodies induced by the currently used H1N1 human influenza vaccine, suggesting that existing immunity may not prevent the transmission of the EA H1N1 viruses in humans. | 5 | Photon-counting distributed free-space spectroscopy显示文摘Spectroscopy is a well-established nonintrusive tool that has played an important role in identifying and quantifying substances,from quantum descriptions to chemical and biomedical diagnostics.Challenges exist in accurate spectrum analysis in free space,which hinders us from understanding the composition of multiple gases and the chemical processes in the atmosphere.A photon-counting distributed free-space spectroscopy is proposed and demonstrated using lidar technique,incorporating a comb-referenced frequency-scanning laser and a superconducting nanowire single-photon detector.It is suitable for remote spectrum analysis with a range resolution over a wide band.As an example,a continuous field experiment is carried out over 72 h to obtain the spectra of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))and semi-heavy water(HDO,isotopic water vapor)in 6 km,with a range resolution of 60 m and a time resolution of 10 min.Compared to the methods that obtain only column-integrated spectra over kilometer-scale,the range resolution is improved by 2-3 orders of magnitude in this work.The CO_(2)and HDO concentrations are retrieved from the spectra acquired with uncertainties as low as±1.2%and±14.3%,respectively.This method holds much promise for increasing knowledge of atmospheric environment and chemistry researches,especially in terms of the evolution of complex molecular spectra in open areas. | Saifen Yu Zhen Zhang Haiyun Xia Xiankang Dou Tengfei Wu Yihua Hu Manyi Li Mingjia Shangguan Tianwen Wei Lijie Zhao Lu Wang Pu Jiang Chengjun Zhang Lixing You Leigang Tao Jiawei Qiu | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,11: | 1 |

| 7 | Phase equilibria in low basicity region of CaO-SiO2-Nb2O5-(5 wt%,10 wt%,15 wt%) La2O3 system显示文摘The lack of thermodynamic information,such as primary phase fields and liquidus temperatures,in the CaO-SiO2-Nb2O5-La2O3 quaternary system phase diagram has restricted the comprehensive utilization of the niobium(Nb) and rare earth(RE) resources.In this work,the phase equilibria in low basicity region(w(CaO)/w(SiO2)<1) of CaO-SiO2-Nb2O5-(0-15 wt%)La2O3 system at 1373-1873 K were experimentally studied by thermodynamic equilibrium experiment,and then,the results were analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and energy dispersive spectrometry(EDS).Additionally,an optimized method was proposed to process the compositions of equilibrium liquid phases at different temperatures.According to the experimental results,the univariate line between CaNb2O6,SiO2 and LaNbO4 primary phase fields,interface between CaNb2O6 and SiO2 primary phase fields and isothermal liquidus surfaces in SiO2 primary phase field were determined.Finally,the spatial phase diagram of CaO-SiO2-Nb2O5-La2O3 within specific region was constructed,and furthermore,the phase diagram was also presented in CaO-SiO2-Nb2O5 pseudo-ternary system with w(La2O3)=5 wt%,10 wt% and 15 wt%.The research results have guiding significance for the improvement of related phase diagram and the comprehensive utilization of Nb and RE resources. | Jiyu Qiu Chengjun Liu Zhengyue Liu Zhe Yu | 2020 | Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,1: | 0 |
