2Cooperative task assignment of multiple heterogeneous unmanned aerial vehicles using a modifed genetic algorithm with multi-type genes显示文摘The task assignment problem of multiple heterogeneous unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs),concerned with cooperative decision making and control,is studied in this paper.The heterogeneous vehicles have different operational capabilities and kinematic constraints,and carry limited resources(e.g.,weapons) onboard.They are designated to perform multiple consecutive tasks cooperatively on multiple ground targets.The problem becomes much more complicated because of these terms of heterogeneity.In order to tackle the challenge,we modify the former genetic algorithm with multi-type genes to stochastically search a best solution.Genes of chromosomes are different,and they are assorted into several types according to the tasks that must be performed on targets.Different types of genes are processed specifcally in the improved genetic operators including initialization,crossover,and mutation.We also present a mirror representation of vehicles to deal with the limited resource constraint.Feasible chromosomes that vehicles could perform tasks using their limited resources under the assignment are created and evolved by genetic operators.The effect of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated in numerical simulations.The results show that it effectively provides good feasible solutions and fnds an optimal one.Deng Qibo Yu Jianqiao Wang Ningfei 2013Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5:31
3Free return orbit design and characteristics analysis for manned lunar mission显示文摘A circumlunar free return orbit design model that satisfies manned lunar mission constraints is established. By combining analytical method with numerical method,a serial orbit design strategy from initial value design to precision solution is proposed. A simulation example is given,and the conclusion indicates that the method has excellent convergence performance and precision. 5Distribution management system framework based on security region for future low carbon distribution systems显示文摘In this paper,a new Distribution Management System(DMS)framework based on security region is proposed.First,the concept of Distribution System Security Region(DSSR)is introduced.DSSR is capable to describe the N-1 security boundary of the whole distribution network,including the secure output range of DGs.This new theoretic tool provides a chance for the implementation of real-time security analysis and active controls in DMS.Second,this paper proposes and describes five security states for distribution system.Third,an upgraded DMS enhanced with DSSR is proposed,which consists of advanced security functions such as preventive and predictive control of the trajectory of operating points.Finally,a practical case is presented to simulate the proposed DSSR-enhanced DMS,in which both the security region of network and the output range of DGs are calculated.Typical security functions are also demonstrated.In conclusion,the new DMS framework aims to help operate the system closed to its security boundary in order to improve the efficiency significantly within same security standard.This work is beneficial for future low carbon distribution systems with high penetration rate of DGs.Jun XIAO Qibo HE Guoqiang ZU 2015Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2015,3,4:10
6Multi-objective interplanetary trajectory optimization combining low-thrust propulsion and gravity-assist maneuvers显示文摘To expand mission capabilities needed without a proportional increase in cost or risk for exploration of the solar system,the multiple objective trajectory using low-thrust propulsion and gravity-assist technique is considered.However,low-thrust,gravity-assist trajectories pose significant optimization challenges because of their large design space.Here,the planets are selected as primal scientific mission goals,while the asteroids are selected as secondary scientific mission goals,and a global trajectory optimization problem is introduced and formulated.This multi-objective decision making process is transformed into a bi-level programming problem,where the targets like planets with small subsamples but high weight are optimized in up level,and targets like asteroids with large subsamples but low weight are optimized in down level.Then,the selected solutions for bi-level programming are optimized thanks to a cooperative Differential Evolution(DE) algorithm that is developed from the original DE algorithm;in addition,an sequential quadratic programming(SQP) method is used in low-thrust optimization.This solution approach is successfully applied to the simulation case of the multi-objective trajectory design problem.The results obtained are presented and discussed.SHEN HongXin ZHOU JianPing PENG QiBo LI HaiYang LI JiuTian 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,3:8
7Percutaneous absorption and brain distribution facilitation of borneol on tetramethylpyrazine in a microemulsion-based transdermal therapeutic system显示文摘In this study, we show that the percutaneous absorption and brain distribution of tetramethylpyrazine(TMP) is enhanced when combined with borneol(BN) in a microemulsionbased transdermal therapeutic system(ME-TTS). The formulation of the TMP and BN microemulsion(TEM-BN-ME) was optimized in skin permeation studies in vitro following a uniform experimental design. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were used for the in vivo pharmacokinetic and tissue distribution studies of TMP-BN-ME-TTS. In the pharmacokinetic study, the TMP-BN-ME-TTS treated rats had significantly higher( P < 0.05) C max and AUC of TMP than the TMP-ME-TTS treated rats, indicating that BN improves the rate and extent of TMP percutaneous absorption. In the tissue distribution study, the AUC of TMP in brain was significantly higher in the TMP-BN-ME-TTS group( P < 0.05), indicating that BN facilitates the distribution of TMP in brain. 8Enhancing Reliability via Checkpointing in Cloud Computing Systems显示文摘Cloud computing is becoming an important solution for providing scalable computing resources via Internet. Because there are tens of thousands of nodes in data center, the probability of server failures is nontrivial. Therefore, it is a critical challenge to guarantee the service reliability. Fault-tolerance strategies, such as checkpoint, are commonly employed. Because of the failure of the edge switches, the checkpoint image may become inaccessible. Therefore, current checkpoint-based fault tolerance method cannot achieve the best effect. In this paper, we propose an optimal checkpoint method with edge switch failure-aware. The edge switch failure-aware checkpoint method includes two algorithms. The first algorithm employs the data center topology and communication characteristic for checkpoint image storage server selection. The second algorithm employs the checkpoint image storage characteristic as well as the data center topology to select the recovery server. 10Strain Transfer Mechanism of Grating Ends Fiber Bragg Grating for Structural Health Monitoring显示文摘The grating ends bonding fiber Bragg grating(FBG)sensor has been widely used in sensor packages such as substrate type and clamp type for health monitoring of large structures.However,owing to the shear deformation of the adhesive layer of FBG,the strain measured by FBG is often different from the strain of actual matrix,which causes strain measurement errors.This investigation aims at improving the measurement accuracy of strain for the grating ends surface-bonded FBG.To fulfill this objective,a strain transfer equation of the grating ends bonding FBG is derived,and a theoretical model of the average strain transfer from the matrix to the optical fiber is developed.Moreover,parameters that influence the average strain transfer rate from the matrix to the optical fiber are analyzed.A selection scheme of bonding parameters by numerical simulation is provided,which is significantly advantageous over that of the grating bonding FBG.The theoretical equation is verified by finite element method(FEM).Compared with the existing model,the proposed model has higher measurement accuracy.Experimental tests are performed to validate the effectiveness of the proposed model on the equalintensity cantilever beam,whose surface is attached to the bare FBG with grating ends bonding and strain gauge by using epoxy glue.The results show that there is a great agreement between the outcome of the bare FBG and that of the strain gauge,and the corrected strain is closer to the true strain.The proposed model provides a theoretical basis for the design of the grating ends surface-bonded FBG strain sensor for health monitoring of large structures.Guang Chen Keqin Ding Qibo Feng Xinran Yin Fangxiong Tang 2019Structural Durability & Health Monitoring2019,13,3:4

14Urban land-use impacts on composition and spatiotemporal variations in abundance and biomass of earthworm community显示文摘Soil fauna can sensitively respond to alterations in soil environment induced by land-use changes.However,little is known about the impact of urban land-use changes on earthworm communities.In this study,three land-use types(i.e.,forest,nursery and abandoned lands)were chosen to identify differences in diversity,abundance and biomass of earthworm community in Kunming City.Urban land-use had a pronounced difference in species composition,evenness and diversity of earthworm communities.Forest land had the highest density,biomass and diversity of the earthworm communities.Total abundance was dominated by endogeic species in nursery land(70%)and abandoned land(80%),whereas in the forest land,the earthworm community comprised epigeic,endogeic and anecic species.Temporal changes in earthworm density and biomass were also significantly affected by land-use change.Total density and biomass of earthworms in the forest and nursery lands were highest in September,but highest in the abandoned land in October.The influence of soil physicochemical properties on the earthworm density and biomass also varied with land-use types.Soil temperature significantly affected earthworm density and biomass in the three land-use types.Soil pH was positively correlated with earthworm biomass in the forest land,but negatively associated with earthworm density in the abandoned land.Soil organic matter was positively correlated only with density and biomass of earthworms in the nursery and abandoned lands.Our results suggest that the species composition,abundance and biomass of earthworm communities can be determined by the modification of soil properties associated with urban land-use type.Jihang Li Zhe Zhang Hong Wang Shaojun Wang Qibo Chen 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,1:2
15Recent progress of precious-metal-free electrocatalysts for efficient water oxidation in acidic media显示文摘The realization of efficient oxygen evolution reaction(OER) is critical to the development of multiple sustainable energy conversion and storage technologies, especially hydrogen production via water electrolysis. To achieve the massive application of hydrogen energy and mass-scale hydrogen production from water splitting drives the pursuit of competent precious-metal-free electrocatalysts in acidic media, where the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) is more facilitated. However, the development of high-efficient and acid-stable OER electrocatalysts, which are robust to function stably at high oxidation potentials in the acidic electrolyte, remains a great challenge. This article contributes a focused, perceptive review of the up-to-date approaches toward this emerging research field. The OER reaction mechanism and fundamental requirements for oxygen evolution electrocatalysts in acid are introduced. Then the progress and new discoveries of precious-metal-free active materials and design concepts with regard to the improvement of the intrinsic OER activity are discussed.
