| 2 | Controllable synthesis of highly crystallized mesoporous TiO2/WO3 heterojunctions for acetone gas sensing显示文摘Mesoporous semiconducting metal oxides(SMOs)heterojunctions are appealing sensors for gas detecting.However,due to the different hydrolysis and condensation mechanism of every metal precursor and the contradiction between high crystallinity and high surface area,the synthesis of mesoporous SMOs heterojunctions with highly o rdered mesostructures,highly crystallized frameworks,and high surface area remains a huge challenge.In this work,we develop a novel'acid-base pair'adjusted solvent evaporation induced self-assembly(EISA)strategy to prepare highly crystallized ordered mesoporous TiO2/WO3(OM-TiO2/WO3)heterojunctions.The WCl6 and titanium isopropoxide(TIPO)are used as the precursors,respectively,which function as the'acid-base pair',enabling the coassembly with the structure directing agent(PEO-b-PS)into highly ordered meso structures.In addition,PEO-b-PS can be converted to rigid carbon which can protect the meso structures from collapse during the crystallization process.The resultant OM-TiO2/WO3 heterojunctions possess primitive cubic mesostructures,large pore size(~21.1 nm),highly crystalline frameworks and surface area(~98 m2/g).As a sensor for acetone,the obtained OM-TiO2/WO3 show excellent re sponse/recovery perfo rmance(3 s/5 s),good linear dependence,repeatability,selectivity,and long-term stability(35 days). | Changyao Wang Yuhui Li Pengpeng Qiu Linlin Duan Wei Bi Yan Chen Dingyi Guo Yupu Liu Wei Luo Yonghui Deng | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,5: | 4 |

| 5 | A broadly neutralizing human monoclonal antibody against the hemagglutinin of avian influenza virus H7N9显示文摘Background:The new emerging avian influenza A H7N9 virus,causing severe human infection with a mortality rate of around 41%.This study aims to provide a novel treatment option for the prevention and control of H7N9.Methods:H7 hemagglutinin(HA)-specific B cells were isolated from peripheral blood plasma cells of the patients previously infected by H7N9 in Jiangsu Province,China.The human monoclonal antibodies(mAbs)were generated by amplification and cloning of these HA-specific B cells.First,all human mAbs were screened for binding activity by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Then,those mAbs,exhibiting potent affinity to recognize H7 HAs were further evaluated by hemagglutination-inhibiting(HAI)and microneutralizationin vitro assays.Finally,the lead mAb candidate was selected and tested against the lethal challenge of the H7N9 virus using murine models.Results:The mAb 6-137 was able to recognize a panel of H7 HAs with high affinity but not HA of other subtypes,including H1N1 and H3N2.The mAb 6-137 can efficiently inhibit the HA activity in the inactivated H7N9 virus and neutralize 100 tissue culture infectious dose 50(TCID_(50))of H7N9 virus(influenza A/Nanjing/1/2013)invitro,with neutralizing activity as low as 78 ng/mL.In addition,the mAb 6-137 protected the mice against the lethal challenge of H7N9 prophylactically and therapeutically.Conclusion:The mAb 6-137 could be an effective antibody as a prophylactic or therapeutic biological treatment for the H7N9 exposure or infection. | Jingxin Li Li Zhang Linlin Bao Yuxiao Wang Lin Qiu Jialei Hu Rong Tang Huiyan Yu Jun Shan Yan Li Chuan Qin Fengcai Zhu | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,7: | 1 |

| 8 | Interface behavior of chalcopyrite during flotation from cyanide tailings显示文摘The interface characteristics of cyanide tailings are different from those of the raw ore. In this study, valuable elements could not be thoroughly recovered via the flotation of cyanide tailings from Shandong, China. The interface and floatability of these tailings were investig- ated by phase analysis and flotation tests. The chalcopyrite in the cyanide tailings was fine and had a porous surface. The floatability of 68% chalcopyrite was similar to that of galena in the presence of a collector. A layer of fine galena particles compactly wrapped the chalcopyrite. The chalcopyrite recovery sharply decreased as the nonpolar oil residue in cyanide tailings was extracted using alcohol;however, this removal had no effect on the galena. | 10 | Ultra-broadband optical filter based on chirped long-period fiber grating using leaky mode coupling显示文摘An ultra-broadband optical filter was proposed and demonstrated based on leaky mode coupling in a coated chirped long-period fiber grating(CLPFG). The CLPFG was coated with a material whose refractive index(RI) was higher than that of the fiber cladding, enabling the coupling of the core mode to leaky modes, to achieve a desired coupling efficiency. Complex coupled-mode theory was used to investigate the power evolution of the core mode that resulted from the coupling. From this, the conditions in which the core mode power attenuates the most rapidly were identified. In addition, phase matching turning point(PMTP) was used in the design, to overcome the conflict between the range of grating period change and the grating length in the CLPFG. Finally, an optimized CLPFG-based filter with a length of 3.5 cm was obtained, which has a symmetrical attenuation band with an operating bandwidth over 300 nm. | 12 | Quantitative studies on charcoalification:Physical and chemical changes of charring wood显示文摘Charcoal is commonly preserved in both natural and artificial sediments,and is intensively used in paleontological,paleoenvironmental,and archaeological studies due to the abundant bio-information it contains.The biochemical properties of charcoal are also used for paleoclimatic reconstruction;however,the reliability of this approach has been challenged due to a lack of clarity on how physicochemical properties change during the charring process,as well as the temperatures required for charcoalification.To address this lack,in this study,Qinghai spruce and Chinese pine wood samples from the northeastern Tibetan Plateau were heated at different temperatures and for different lengths of time under restricted oxygen conditions.The reflectance;carbon,nitrogen,and oxygen content;and tracheid morphology were quantified before and after heating to assess changes related to the charring process.Archaeological charcoal remains were then evaluated to determine the charcoalification temperatures by comparing with the experimental results.The minimum temperature required for wood charcoalification was∼300℃,while temperatures recorded by archaeological charcoal were concentrated at 400-500℃.During the charring experiments,the tracheid cell walls gradually homogenized,and tracheid cell wall thickness and lumen area decreased by∼20%.On average,50%mass losses were observed;the carbon and oxygen content(%wt.)approximately changed from 47%to 60%and 48%to 35%respectively,while the nitrogen content(%wt.)fluctuated around 0.2%.The reflectance increased slightly from 0%to 0.5%.We propose that the charcoalification of wood tissue refers to charring(in restricted air)and carbonization(in the almost absence of air)when the wood is exposed to a heat source,which then finally transforms into a black,inert solid.This quantitative study provided valuable data and a thorough assessment of the process of wood charcoalification,as well as accurately estimated the feasibility of using charcoal physicochemical properties in paleoclimatic research. | Gang Li Linlin Gao Fengwen Liu Menghan Qiu Guanghui Dong | 2024 | Fundamental Research2024,4,1: | 0 |
| 13 | LHD3 Encoding a J-Domain Protein Controls Heading Date in Rice显示文摘Heading date is one of the most important agronomic traits of rice,which critically affects rice ecogeographical adaptation,yield and quality.In this study,a late heading date 3(lhd3)mutant was screened from the^(60)Co-γirradiation mutant library.The lhd3 delayed heading date in rice under both short day and long day conditions.Map-based cloning combined with Mutmap strategy was adopted to isolate the causal LHD3 gene.The LHD3 gene encodes a DNA_J domain protein,which was ubiquitously expressed in various plant organs,and dominant expressed in stems and leaves.Subcellular localization analysis showed that LHD3 was localized to nucleus,indicating that LHD3 may interact with other elements to regulate the expression of flowering genes.The transcriptions of the heading activators Ehd1,Hd3a and RFT1 significantly decreased in the lhd3 mutant,suggesting that LHD3 may control the heading date through the Ehd1-Hd3a/RFT1 photoperiodic flowering pathway.The variation and haplotype analyses of the genomic region of LHD3 showed that there were 7 haplotypes in the LHD3 region from 4702 accessions.The haplotypes of LHD3 can be divided into two classes:class a and class b,and the heading dates of these two classes were significantly different.Further study showed that two single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs),SNP10(G2100C)in Hap II and SNP3(C861T)in Hap VII,may be the functional sites causing early and late heading in accessions.Nucleotide diversity analysis showed LHD3 had been selected in the indica population,rather than in the japonica population.Therefore,the present study sheds light on the regulation of LHD3 on heading date in rice and suggests that LHD3 is a novel promising new target for rice molecular design and breeding improvement. | LIU Qiao QIU Linlin HUA Yangguang LI Jing PANG Bo ZHAI Yufeng WANG Dekai | 2023 | Rice science2023,30,5: | 0 |
