5Effect of nitrogen on deposition and field emission properties of boron-doped micro-and nano-crystalline diamond films显示文摘In this paper,we report the effect of nitrogen on the deposition and properties of boron doped diamond films synthesized by hot filament chemical vapor deposition.The diamond films consisting of micro-grains(nano-grains) were realized with low(high) boron source flow rate during the growth processes.The transition of micro-grains to nano-grains is speculated to be strongly(weekly) related with the boron(nitrogen) flow rate.The grain size and Raman spectral feature vary insignificantly as a function of the nitrogen introduction at a certain boron flow rate.The variation of electron field emission characteristics dependent on nitrogen is different between microcrystalline and nanocrystalline boron doped diamond samples,which are related to the combined phase composition,boron doping level and texture structure.There is an optimum nitrogen proportion to improve the field emission properties of the boron-doped films.L.A.Li S.H.Cheng H.D.Li Q.Yu J.W.Liu X.Y.Lv 2010Nano-Micro Letters2010,2,3:1

8Plasticity-induced stacking fault behaviors ofγ'precipitates in novel CoNi-based superalloys显示文摘Implementation of novelγ/γ'Co-based superalloys with higher strength and improved creep durability is a challenging task for researchers.The lack of atomic-level understanding of plastic deformation behavior has seriously limited the exploration of the full capacity of Co-based alloys.We put forward a comprehensive study of generalized stacking fault energies by first principles to explore the effect of Ni and Al/W on the plastic deformation mechanism ofγ'precipitates in Co-based superalloys.It is found that alloying Ni and adjusting Al/W obviously change the dislocation glide and twinning nucleation in theγ'precipitates by altering the stable fault energies and the unstable fault energy barriers.Excessive addition of either Ni or W deteriorates the strength even the stability of alloys.The ratio of effective planar fault energy(ΔEp)bridges intrinsic energy barriers and various deformation mechanisms of superalloys at elevated temperatures.Except for alloying effects,the grain orientation also significantly governs the operation of the plastic deformation of superalloys.Our theoretical results agree with the available measurements and well capture the observed phenomena in experiments.W.-W.Xu G.H.Yin Z.Y.Xiong Q.Yu T.Q.Gang L.J.Chen 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,31:0
9Tensile Elastic Behavior of a Zr-Cu-Ag-Al Bulk Metallic Glass显示文摘Tensile elastic behavior of bulk Zr46(Cu4.5/5.5Ag1/5.5)46Al8metallic glass was experimentally investigated. It exhibited linear and non-linear time-independent elastic deformation with a demarcative stress of approximately 500 MPa within the timescale in the present work, and repeated loadingeunloading before yielding did not alter stressestrain relationship. The pure linear elastic strain limit is 0.6%, significantly lower than 2% as generally reported, but still much higher than 0.1% observed for typical crystalline alloys.Deviation from linear elastic behavior at stresses higher than 500 MPa is explained here as a macroscopic manifestation of local fluctuations in elastic strain, which becomes pronounced at stresses higher than the critical value. 10Fast magnetic energy dissipation in relativistic plasma induced by high order laser modes显示文摘Fast magnetic field annihilation in a collisionless plasma is induced by using TEM(1,0) laser pulse. The magnetic quadrupole structure formation, expansion and annihilation stages are demonstrated with 2.5-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations. The magnetic field energy is converted to the electric field and accelerate the particles inside the annihilation plane. A bunch of high energy electrons moving backwards is detected in the current sheet.
