| 1 | Deep-learning-based phase control method for tiled aperture coherent beam combining systems显示文摘We incorporate deep learning(DL)into tiled aperture coherent beam combining(CBC)systems for the first time,to the best of our knowledge.By using a well-trained convolutional neural network DL model,which has been constructed at a non-focal-plane to avoid the data collision problem,the relative phase of each beamlet could be accurately estimated,and then the phase error in the CBC system could be compensated directly by a servo phase control system.The feasibility and extensibility of the phase control method have been demonstrated by simulating the coherent combining of different hexagonal arrays.This DL-based phase control method offers a new way of eliminating dynamic phase noise in tiled aperture CBC systems,and it could provide a valuable reference on alleviating the long-standing problem that the phase control bandwidth decreases as the number of array elements increases. | Tianyue Hou Yi An Qi Chang Pengfei Ma Jun Li Dong Zhi Liangjin Huang Rongtao Su Jian Wu Yanxing Ma Pu Zhou | 2019 | High Power Laser Science and Engineering2019,7,4: | 10 |
| 2 | Deep-learning-assisted, two-stage phase control method for high-power mode-programmable orbital angular momentum beam generation显示文摘High-power mode-programmable orbital angular momentum(OAM)beams have received substantial attention in recent years.They are widely used in optical communication,nonlinear frequency conversion,and laser processing.To overcome the power limitation of a single beam,coherent beam combining(CBC)of laser arrays is used.However,in specific CBC systems used to generate structured light with a complex wavefront,eliminating phase noise and realizing flexible phase modulation proved to be difficult challenges.In this paper,we propose and demonstrate a two-stage phase control method that can generate OAM beams with different topological charges from a CBC system.During the phase control process,the phase errors are preliminarily compensated by a deep-learning(DL)network,and further eliminated by an optimization algorithm.Moreover,by modulating the expected relative phase vector and cost function,all-electronic flexible programmable switching of the OAM mode is realized.Results indicate that the proposed method combines the characteristics of DL for undesired convergent phase avoidance and the advantages of the optimization algorithm for accuracy improvement,thereby ensuring the high mode purity of the generated OAM beams.This work could provide a valuable reference for future implementation of high-power,fast switchable structured light generation and manipulation. | TIANYUE HOU YI AN QI CHANG PENGFEI MA JUN LI LIANGJIN HUANG DONG ZHI JIAN WU RONGTAO SU YANXING MA PU ZHOU | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,5: | 8 |
| 3 | Progress and Strategies in Cross Breeding of Poplars in China显示文摘The advance in intrasection and intersection cross breeding of poplars in China over the past 50 years is reviewed. Great progress has been made in Sections Leuce and Aigeiros, and satisfactory results of intersection hybridization have been achieved in the crossing between Sections Tacamahaca and Aigeiros. The modes of hybridization include single cross, double cross, triple cross, backcross, etc. It is known that using hybrids as parents to cross with other species or hybrids is an effective and easy way to obtain heterosis. Fast growth, cold and drought tolerance, pest and disease resistance, narrow crowns and rootage, etc. are breeding goals. The conventional artificial crossing is still a major breeding method, and a combination of the conventional artificial crossing with physical radiation and chemical induction can create new triploid individuals that possess higher yield potential. The super clones cultivated have already displayed enormous socioeconomic and ecological benefits in practice. | 4 | Wall shear stress in portal vein of cirrhotic patients with portal hypertension显示文摘AIM To investigate wall shear stress(WSS) magnitude and distribution in cirrhotic patients with portal hypertension using computational fluid dynamics. METHODS Idealized portal vein(PV) system models were reconstructed with different angles of the PV-splenic vein(SV) and superior mesenteric vein(SMV)-SV. Patient-specific models were created according to enhanced computed tomography images. WSS was simulated by using a finite-element analyzer, regarding the blood as a Newtonian fluid and the vessel as a rigid wall. Analysis was carried out to compare the WSSin the portal hypertension group with that in healthy controls.RESULTS For the idealized models, WSS in the portal hypertension group(0-10 dyn/cm2) was significantly lower than that in the healthy controls(10-20 dyn/cm2), and low WSS area(0-1 dyn/cm2) only occurred in the left wall of the PV in the portal hypertension group. Different angles of PV-SV and SMV-SV had different effects on the magnitude and distribution of WSS, and low WSS area often occurred in smaller PV-SV angle and larger SMV-SV angle. In the patient-specific models, WSS in the cirrhotic patients with portal hypertension(10.13 ± 1.34 dyn/cm2) was also significantly lower than that in the healthy controls(P < 0.05). Low WSS area often occurred in the junction area of SV and SMV into the PV, in the area of the division of PV into left and right PV, and in the outer wall of the curving SV in the control group. | 8 | Unfolding the fast neutron spectra of a BC501A liquid scintillation detector using GRAVEL method显示文摘Accurate knowledge of the neutron energy spectra is useful in basic research and applications. The overall procedure of measuring and unfolding the fast neutron energy spectra with BC501 A liquid scintillation detector is described. The recoil proton spectrum of 241Am-Be neutrons was obtained experimentally. With the NRESP7 code, the response matrix of detector was simulated.Combining the recoil proton spectrum and response matrix, the unfolding of neutron spectra was performed by GRAVEL iterative algorithm. A MatLab program based on the GRAVEL method was developed. The continuous neutron spectrum of 241Am-Be source and monoenergetic neutron spectrum of D-T source have been unfolded successfully and are in good agreement with their standard reference spectra. | 9 | Effects of Ta Addition on NiTi Shape Memory Alloys显示文摘The effect of Ta addition on the martensitic transformation characteristics and the X-ray visibility on NiTi shape memory alloy have been studied in (Ni51Ti49)1-x Tax system. It was found that the transformation temperatures of the Ni51Ti49 binary alloy increased drastically by an addition of 0-4 at. pct Ta, but only slightly when the concentration exceeded 4 at. pct, the addition of Ta greatly decreases the sensitivity of the martensitic transformations to the variation in the Ni-Ti ratio. | 18 | Extraction of Flavonoids and Polyphenols from Coronatinetreated Mulberry Leaves and Evaluation of Their Antibacterial Activity against Pseudomonas syringae显示文摘Flavonoids and polyphenols are the main secondary metabolites in mulberry leaves,which have multiple biological functions such as antibacterial activity,free radical scavenging activity and antioxidant activity.In this paper,the parameters for the extraction of flavonoids and polyphenols from coronatine(COR)-treated mulberry leaves were optimized,and the components of the extracts were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),and their antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas syringae,which causes mulberry bacterial blight,was evaluated in vitro to explore the mechanism how COR acted as a plant immune elicitor to improve the resistance of mulberry to bacterial blight.The results showed that ethanol concentration of 70%,extraction temperature of 80℃,extraction duration of 6 h and solid-liquid ratio of 1∶40 were the optimal parameters for the extraction of flavonoids and polyphenols from mulberry leaves.Flavonoids and polyphenols were mostly distributed in ethyl acetate and n-butyl alcohol fractions which showed better antibacterial activity than petroleum ether,dichloromethane and water fractions.Meanwhile,the antibacterial activity of ethyl acetate and n-butyl alcohol fractions of COR-treated mulberry leaves were more evident than that of water-treated mulberry leaves.Scanning electron microscopy showed that flavonoids and polyphenols inhibited the growth of pathogenic bacteria by changing cell morphology,damaging cell wall structure and unbalancing cell osmotic pressure.HPLC analysis confirmed the contents of morin,quercetin,quercitrin,kaempferol,chlorogenic acid and rutin were increased to a different extent in COR-treated mulberry leaves.So it can be concluded that the increased contents of flavonoids and polyphenols induced by COR may be one of the reasons for the enhanced resistance to mulberry bacterial blight. | Na WANG Yanliang CHU Yurui PU Fu'an WU | 2017 | Agricultural Biotechnology2017,6,4: | 1 |
