Numerical Simulation on Fluid Flow in Hot Metal Pretreatment显示文摘Basing on the commercial CFD metho d ,several models are adopted to simulate water model. The numerical simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental data of water model under the same experimental conditions. Then the numerical simulation method is presented to investigate the flow field, the vortex on gas-liquid surface and the uniform mixing time in hot metal ladles. This research shows: the vortex depth increases with increasing of immersion depth and rotation speed; Overflow appears in N=120rpm and h=3.2m; the turbulent kinetic energy increases with increasing immersion depth and rotation speed; uniform mixing time decreases with the decreasing of immersion depth and the rotation speed of stirring ; the optimal uniform mixing time is 23.5s on the conditions of N=100rpm and h=3.2m within the allowable range. | SHAO Pin, ZHANG Ting-an, LIU Yan, ZHAO Hong-liang, HE Ji-cheng (Laboratory of Ecological Untilization of Multi-Metal Intergrown Ores of Education Ministry, Shenyang 110004, Liaoning, China) | 2011 | Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2011,18,S2: | 8
Association of Overlapped and Un-overlapped Comorbidities with COVID-19 Severity and Treatment Outcomes: A Retrospective Cohort Study from Nine Provinces in China显示文摘Objective Several COVID-19 patients have overlapping comorbidities. The independent role of each component contributing to the risk of COVID-19 is unknown, and how some non-cardiometabolic comorbidities affect the risk of COVID-19 remains unclear. Methods A retrospective follow-up design was adopted. A total of 1,160 laboratory-confirmed patients were enrolled from nine provinces in China. Data on comorbidities were obtained from the patients’ medical records. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to estimate the odds ratio(OR) and 95% confidence interval(95% CI) of the associations between comorbidities(cardiometabolic or non-cardiometabolic diseases), clinical severity, and treatment outcomes of COVID-19.Results Overall, 158(13.6%) patients were diagnosed with severe illness and 32(2.7%) had unfavorable outcomes. Hypertension(2.87, 1.30–6.32), type 2 diabetes(T2 DM)(3.57, 2.32–5.49),cardiovascular disease(CVD)(3.78, 1.81–7.89), fatty liver disease(7.53, 1.96–28.96), hyperlipidemia(2.15, 1.26–3.67), other lung diseases(6.00, 3.01–11.96), and electrolyte imbalance(10.40, 3.00–26.10)were independently linked to increased odds of being severely ill. T2 DM(6.07, 2.89–12.75), CVD(8.47,6.03–11.89), and electrolyte imbalance(19.44, 11.47–32.96) were also strong predictors of unfavorable outcomes. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease on admission(5.46,3.25–9.19), while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes(6.58, 1.46–29.64) within two weeks. Conclusion Besides hypertension, diabetes, and CVD, fatty liver disease, hyperlipidemia, other lung diseases, and electrolyte imbalance were independent risk factors for COVID-19 severity and poor treatment outcome. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease, while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes. | MA Yan ZHU Dong Shan CHEN Ren Bo SHI Nan Nan LIU Si Hong FAN Yi Pin WU Gui Hui YANG Pu Ye BAI Jiang Feng CHEN Hong CHEN Li Ying FENG Qiao GUO Tuan Mao HOU Yong HU Gui Fen HU Xiao Mei HU Yun Hong HUANG Jin HUANG Qiu Hua HUANG Shao Zhen JI Liang JIN Hai Hao LEI Xiao LI Chun Yan LI Min Qing LI Qun Tang LI Xian Yong LIU Hong De LIU Jin Ping LIU Zhang MA Yu Ting MAO Ya MO Liu Fen NA Hui WANG Jing Wei SONG Fang Li SUN Sheng WANG Dong Ting WANG Ming Xuan WANG Xiao Yan WANG Yin Zhen WANG Yu Dong WU Wei WU Lan Ping XIAO Yan Hua XIE Hai Jun XU Hong Ming XU Shou Fang XUE Rui Xia YANG Chun YANG Kai Jun YUAN Sheng Li ZHANG Gong Qi ZHANG Jin Bo ZHANG Lin Song ZHAO Shu Sen ZHAO Wan Ying ZHENG Kai ZHOU Ying Chun ZHU Jun Teng ZHU Tian Qing ZHANG Hua Min WANG Yan Ping WANG Yong Yan 无 | 2020 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2020,33,12: | 8
Improvement of Impeller Blade Structure for Gas Injection Refining under Mechanical Sirring显示文摘The impeller blade structure for gas injection refining under mechanical stirring has been explored by water model experiments.A sloped swept-back blade impeller is proposed for the purpose. The central part of the impeller is disk-or plate-shaped,and the blades are fitted to the side of the disk or plate. In addition,a disk is put on the top side of the impeller blades. The impeller can strengthen the radial and downward flow between the blades and weaken the swirl flow in the zone above the impeller. These effects on flow phenomena are favorable for disintegration and wide dispersion of bubbles which are injected from a nozzle attached to the center of the underside of the impeller. In addition, the sloped swept-back impeller requires less power consumption. The impeller shaft should be placed away from the vessel center so as to disperse the injected bubbles widely in the bath under mechanical stirring even with unidirectional impeller rotation and without installing baffles. The number of gas holes in the nozzle and the direction of gas injection have a little effect on the bubble disintegration and dispersion in the bath.Highly efficient gas injection refining can be established under the conditions of proper impeller size, larger nozzle immersion depth, larger eccentricity and rotation speed of the impeller. The sloped swept-back blade impeller can decrease the power consumption and yet improve the bubble disintegration and wide dispersion in the bath. | Yan LIU Zi-mu ZHANG Sano MASAMICHI Jun ZHANG Pin SHAO Ting-an ZHANG | 2014 | Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2014,21,2: | 3

The application of proton spectrometers at the SG-III facility for ICF implosion areal density diagnostics显示文摘Charged particle diagnostics is one of the required techniques for implosion areal density diagnostics at the SG-III facility.Several proton spectrometers are under development, and some preliminary areal density diagnostics have been carried out. The response of the key detector, CR39, to charged particles was investigated in detail. A new track profile simulation code based on a semi-empirical model was developed. The energy response of the CR39 detector was calibrated with the accelerator protons and alphas from a241 Am source. A proton spectrometer based on the filtered CR39 detector was developed, and D–D primary proton measurements were implemented. A step range filter spectrometer was developed, and preliminary areal density diagnostics was carried out. A wedged range filter spectrometer array made of Si with a higher resolution was designed and developed at the SG-III facility. A particle response simulation code by the Monte Carlo method and a spectra unfolding code were developed. The capability was evaluated in detail by simulations. | Xing Zhang Jianhua Zheng Ji Yan Zhenghua Yang Ming Su Yudong Pu Pin Yang Xufei Xie Li Chen Ming Chen Tianxuan Huang Shao'en Jiang Shenye Liu Jiamin Yang | 2015 | High Power Laser Science and Engineering2015,3,4: | 1

SG-II-Up prototype final optics assembly:optical damage and clean-gas control显示文摘The Shenguang-II Upgrade(SG-II Up) facility is an under-construction high-power laser driver with eight beams, 24 kJ energy, 3 ns pulse duration and ultraviolet laser output, in the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, China. The prototype design and experimental research of the prototype final optics assembly(FOA), which is one of the most important parts of the SG-II Up facility, have been completed on the ninth beam of the SG-II facility. Thirty-three shots were fired using 1-ω energy from 1000 to 4500 J and 3-ω energy from 500 to 2403 J with a 3 ns square pulse. During the experiments, emphasis was given to the process of optical damage and to the effects of clean-gas control. A numerical model of the FOA generated by the Integrated Computer Engineering and Manufacturing code for Computational Fluid Dynamics(ICEMCFD) demonstrated that a flux within 1–5 l s^(-1) and a 180 s period is effectual to avoid contaminant sputtering to the optics. The presence of surface ‘mooning' damage and surface spots located outside the clear aperture are induced by contaminants such as wire, silica gel and millimeter order fiber and metal. | Dongfeng Zhao Li Wan Zunqi Lin Pin Shao Jianqiang Zhu | 2015 | High Power Laser Science and Engineering2015,3,1: | 0
A Class Effect Network Meta-analysis of Lipid Modulation in Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis for Dyslipidemia显示文摘Background and Aims:Pharmaceutical therapy for NASH is associated with lipid modulation, but the consensus on drug treatment is limited and lacks comparative analysis of effectiveness.A network meta-analysis was conducted to compare NASH drug classes in lipid modulation. Methods:Online databases were searched for randomized controlled trails(RCTs)evaluating NASH treatments in biopsy-proven NASH patients.Treatments were classified into four groups:(1)inflammation,(2)energy,(3)bile acids,and(4)fibro-sis based on the mechanism of action.A Bayesian network analysis was conducted with outcome measured by mean difference(MD)with credible intervals(Crl)and surface un-der the cumulative ranking curve(SUCRA).Results:Forty-four RCTs were included in the analysis.Bile acid modulat-ing treatments(MD:0.05,Crl:0.03-0.07)were the best treatment for improvement in high-density lipid(HDL)cho-lesterol,followed by treatments modulating energy(MD:0.03,Crl:0.02-0.04)and fibrosis(MD:0.01,Crl:−0.12 to 0.14)compared with placebo. The top three treatments for reduction in triglycerides were treatments modulating energy(MD:−0.46,Crl:−0.49 to−0.43),bile acids(MD:−0.22,Crl:−0.35 to−0.09),and inflammation(MD:−0.08,Crl:−0.13 to−0.03)compared with placebo.SUCRA found treatment modulating fibrosis(MD:−1.27,Crl:−1.76 to−0.79)was the best treatment for reduction in low-density lipid(LDL)cholesterol followed by treatment modulating in-flammation(MD:−1.03,Crl:−1.09 to−0.97)and energy(MD:−0.37,Crl:−0.39 to−0.34)compared with placebo, but LDL cholesterol was worsened by treatments modulat-ing bile acids. Conclusions:Network analysis comparing the class effects of dyslipidemia modulation in NASH found that treatment targets can include optimization of athero-genic dyslipidemia.Future studies are required to evaluate the cardiovascular outcomes. | Jieling Xiao Cheng-Han Ng Yip-Han Chin Darren Jun Hao Tan Wen-Hui Lim Grace Lim Jingxuan Quek Ansel Shao Pin Tang Kai-En Chan Rou-Yi Soong Nicholas Chew Benjamin Tay Daniel Q.Huang Nobuharu Tamaki Roger Foo Mark Y.Chan Mazen Noureddin Mohammad Shadab Siddiqui Arun J.Sanyaland Mark D.Muthiah | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,6: | 0

CFD-PBM simulation of bubble coalescence and breakup in top blown-rotary agitated reactor显示文摘Gas–liquid flow and bubble coalescence and breakup behavior were studied in a top blown-rotary agitated reactor for steelmaking.Several important models of bubble coalescence and breakup mechanisms were considered and compared, and water model experiment was carried out to verify and optimize the mathematical models. The influence of different operating parameters including paddle arrangement, stirring speed and top blowing flow rate on the bubble size and distribution was revealed. The results show that the predicted bubble size and distribution present a good agreement with the experimental results using the improved Luo–Laakkonen combination model. As the position of the stirring paddle moves from the center to the side wall, the bubble distribution in the reactor becomes more uniform, and the bubble size gradually decreases. With the increase in the paddle rotation speed, the bubble size decreases. However, this effect begins to weaken when the paddle rotation speed exceeds 150 r/min.Increasing the top blowing flow rate will increase the bubble size in the reactor, but it has a weak effect on bubble dispersion. When the top blowing rate exceeds 2.0 m^(3)/h,the bubble size in the bath is basically not less than 5 mm. | Pin Shao Shi-xu Liu Xin-cheng Miao | 2022 | Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2022,29,2: | 0
Synthesis and Characterization of Dipolar Two-Photon Absorption Chromophores显示文摘 It is a new interest to explore novel organic two-photon absorption (TPA) chromophores with large TPA cross section for their potential applications in various fields, such as three-dimensional optical data storage, micro- and nano-fabrication, biological imaging and optical limiting, and so on. As far as asymmetrical D-π-A type chromophores were concerned, larger TPA cross section can be obtained with the enhancement of electron-donation/electron-acception ability.[1] Recently, we have synthesized a series of new D-π-A type compounds. In these chromophores, stilbene or phenyl cyclo-bridged hexatriene is served as π-bridge, which terminated with a number of amino groups and dicyanomethylene unit (Scheme 1). All the chromophores can be obtained by the condensation reaction of aldehydes and active methyl or methenyl groups in good yields (72%~81%). The chromophores have been characterized by 1H NMR,IR, UV-vis, PL and EA. All these five chromophores in dilute solutions show strong red fluorescence (Table 1). The studies on the TPA properties are in progress.…… | SHAO,Pin LUO,Jian-Lin GONG,Wei QIN,Jin-Gui | 2004 | 有机化学2004,24,z1: | 0
