2Piezoelectric ceramics with high piezoelectricity and broad temperature usage range显示文摘There is a general observation that the Curie temperature and piezoelectric property of the ferroelectric ceramics can be enhanced only at the expense of each other,i.e.,higher piezoelectricity,lower Curie temperature,thus,limits their applications over broad temperature range.In this research,Sm-modified 0.15 Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)-(0.85-x)PbZrO_(3)-xPbTiO_(3) ceramics have been studied,where excellent piezoelectric coefficients d33¼720 pC/N,d_(33)*=950 pm/V and high Curie temperature T_(C)=293℃ were simultaneously achieved for x=0.42 composition by designing the morphotropic phase boundary(MPB)with local structural heterogeneity.Of particular significance is that a high thermal stability was observed with piezoelectric variation below 20%with temperature up to 280℃,demonstrating that the x=0.42 composition is a good candidate for piezoelectric application over broad temperature range where high temperature stability is required.This work provides a good paradigm for designing highperformance piezoelectric ceramics with high thermal stability via a combination of MPB and local structural heterogeneity.Qinghu Guo Fei Li Fangquan Xia Pengbin Wang Xiaoyi Gao Hua Hao Hanxing Liu Huajun Sun Shujun Zhang 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,4:0
3Propofol-controlled infusion technique in assessing the safe dosage for sedation during epidural anesthesia显示文摘BACKGROUND: Epidural anesthesia requires a convenient and accurate method to determine the plasma concentration of the given subsidiary drug. The target-controlled infusion (TCI) technique, controlling infusion pump by computer, has been used. Intravenous injection of propofol was given for the purpose of measuring plasma concentrations and to observe the effects of different target concentrations on the memory, consciousness, hemodynamics and blood gases of patients, in order to find a safe dosage for sedation in epidural anesthesia. OBJECTIVE: To observe the influence of different target concentrations on the memory, consciousness, hemodynamics and blood gases of patients accepted epidural anesthesia. DESIGN: A randomized and controlled study. SETTING: Department of Anesthesiology, the Second Affiliated Hospital, Medical College of Xi’an Jiao Tong University. PARTICIPANTS: The experiment was conducted in the Department of Anesthesiology, the Second Affiliated Hospital, Medical College of Xi’an Jiao Tong University from June 2005 to June 2006. Fifty patients underwent surgery for lower abdomen and lower limbs were selected, including 30 males and 20 females, 30-60 years old with an average of (46±6) years, weighing (65.8±8.5) kg, and American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) grading of Ⅰ-Ⅱ. All the patients were informed and agreed with the items for detection. METHODS: All the patients were given diazepam (10 mg) and atropine (0.5 mg) intramuscularly 30 minutes before surgery. They were placed supinely and given oxygen inhalation, their blood pressure, heart rate and blood oxygen saturation were determined, then an epidural puncture was made in the left lateral decubitus position with hands crossed over knees. The patients were in a horizontal position and a radial artery puncture was done, after the epidural catheter was positioned into epidural space. Blood of radial artery was drawn to get a blood gas, a linked HP multi-functional monitor was used to monitor blood pressure (radial artery), pulse, oxygen saturation and electrocardiogram continuously. TCI instillation begun and plasma concentrations with 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 mg/L were set up. Epidural anesthesia was discontinued and the operation was completed. When target concentrations were achieved the state of consciousness, the blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation and blood gas results were recorded immediately, and compared with the measurements taken before surgery. The length of time to awakening after surgery was noted and a follow-up survey was done on the next day to record the patients’ memory about the surgery. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① Effects of different target concentrations of propofol on consciousness, memory, blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory frequency, oxygen saturation and blood gases; ② Recovery of orientation after surgery. RESULTS: All the 50 enrolled patients were involved in the analysis of results. ① Effects of different target concentrations of propofol on consciousness and memory: When the target concentration of propofol reached 1.0 mg/L, 30 cases (60%) lost consciousness, 5 cases (10%) had consciousness at that time, but could not remember anything about the surgery afterwards, and the other 15 cases (30%) could remember the conditions about the surgery, which was significantly different from those before the surgery. When the target concentration of propofol reached 1.5 mg/L, 45 cases (90%) lost consciousness, and all had complete amnesia. When the target concentration of propofol reached 2.0 mg/L, all the patients were unconscious and amnesia. ② Effects of different target concentrations of propofol on blood pressure and heart rate: When the target concentration of propofol reached 1.5-3.0 mg/L, the systolic pressures were (100.34±9.76), (94.32±6.58), (85.12±6.98) and (78.56±4.76) mm Hg(1 mm Hg=0.133 kPa) respectively, which were all lower than that before surgery[(129.00±10.18) mm Hg, P < 0.05-0.01]; The diastolic pressures were (56.44±7.67), (50.72±9.72), (49.78±4.80) and (40.34±6.98) mm Hg respectively, which were all lower than that before surgery [(78.88±9.76) mm Hg, P < 0.05-0.01]; The heart rates were (98.78±8.76), (108.34±7.85), (110.56±4.72) and (112.56±9.87) beats/min, which were all higher than that before surgery [(87.87±8.88) beats/min, P < 0.05-0.01]. ③ Effects of different target concentrations of propofol on respiratory rate, oxygen saturation and blood gases: When the target concentration of propofol was 1.0 and 1.5 mg/L, the oxygen saturations were higher than that before surgery[(97.65±4.67)%, (97.64±7.23)%, (97.34±5.87)%, P < 0.05]; When the target concentration of propofol was 2.5 and 3.0 mg/L, the oxygen saturations were lower than that before surgery [(88.67±14.73)%, (86.76±16.78)%, (97.34±5.87)%, P < 0.05]. When the target concentration of propofol was 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 mg/L, the respiratory frequencies were (18.62±4.52), (18.76±5.98) and (18.46±4.87) beats/min, which were all higher than that before surgery [(13.23±2.45) beats/min, P < 0.05]; When the target concentration of propofol was 3.0 mg/L, the pH value was lower than that before surgery (7.28±9.68, 7.36±9.67, P < 0.05), the partial pressure of oxygen was also lower than that before surgery [(86.45±9.27), (113.34 ±24.54) kPa, P < 0.05]. When the target concentration of propofol was 2.5 and 3.0 mg/L, the partial pressures of carbon dioxide were higher than that before surgery [(45.51±9.18), (46.73±11.63), (36.34±15.71) kPa, P < 0.05]. ④ Recovery of orientation: Drug was withdrawn before the end of the surgery, and all the patients became oriented within 5 minute after the surgery. 4A self-power photodetector based on controlled growth of single crystal MAPbBr_(3)/WO_(3) heterojunction显示文摘Compared with polycrystalline films, perovskite single crystal is considered as a promising photoelectric material due to its unique advantages in quantum efficiency and carrier diffusion length. In this work, the micron-thickness MAPbBr_(3) single crystal was prepared through a highly repeatable process based on the crystal seed dissolution-growth method. A heterojunction of MAPbBr_(3)/WO_(3) single crystal was realized through a simple thermal evaporation process, and the integrated C/MAPbBr_(3)/WO_(3)/C device demonstrated self-powered characteristics and high photoelectric performance, which showed good responsivity of about 111 mA/W, detectivity of 9.64×10^(11) Jones and fast response speed(0.11/0.56 ms). Meanwhile, the device exhibited good rectification performance(ratio of 125 at ±2 V) and reduced dark current due to the built-in electric field formed in the heterojunction. 5An Efficiency and Ranking Analysis of EMBA Programs in China显示文摘Even though ranking scores help business schools to build their own reputation,they lack of guidance to assess the actual efficiency of operations.Based on the data of the best MBA ranking in China selected by Manager Magazine,DEA was used to evaluate the efficiency of EMBA programs of top 36 business schools in China.This paper also compared the efficiency score of each business school with the rank score assigned by the traditional ranking.The results show that the overall EMBA programs have a high value on technical efficiency due to the high pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency.Different business schools have different efficiency.The findings reveal areas of incoherence between efficiency measures and rankings.Pengbin Gao Guangjian Zhang Congshu Liu 2019教育研究前沿(中英文版)2019,9,4:0
6Demonstration of a manufacturable SOT-MRAM multiplexer array towards industrial applications显示文摘We have successfully demonstrated a 1 Kb spin-orbit torque(SOT)magnetic random-access memory(MRAM)multiplexer(MUX)array with remarkable performance.The 1 Kb MUX array exhibits an in-die function yield of over 99.6%.Additionally,it provides a sufficient readout window,with a TMR/RP_sigma%value of 21.4.Moreover,the SOT magnetic tunnel junctions(MTJs)in the array show write error rates as low as 10^(-6)without any ballooning effects or back-hopping behaviors,ensuring the write stability and reliability.This array achieves write operations in 20 ns and 1.2 V for an industrial-level temperature range from-40 to 125℃.Overall,the demonstrated array shows competitive specifications compared to the state-of-the-art works.Our work paves the way for the industrial-scale production of SOT-MRAM,moving this technology beyond R&D and towards widespread adoption.Chuanpeng Jiang Jinhao Li Hongchao Zhang Shiyang Lu Pengbin Li Chao Wang Zhongkui Zhang Zhengyi Hou Xu Liu Jiagao Feng He Zhang Hui Jin Gefei Wang Hongxi Liu Kaihua Cao Zhaohao Wang Weisheng Zhao 2023Journal of Semiconductors2023,44,12:0
7Cognitive function correlations with apolipoprotein Eε4 single nucleotide polymorphism in 1000 elderly patients following general anesthesia A randomized controlled study显示文摘BACKGROUND:Cognitive dysfunction occurs in elderly patients following general anesthesia, and this might be associated with genetics.Studies have shown that theε4 allele gene is closely associated with senile dementia. OBJECTIVE:To compare and analyze the correlations between cognitive dysfunction and single nucleotide polymorphism of apolipoprotein E(ApoE) following inhalation or intravenous anesthesia. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled study was performed.The patients were recruited from the Department of Anesthesia,Second Affiliated Hospital,Medical College, Xi'an Jiaotong University,China between May 2005 and December 2008.Genetic analyses were conducted at the Departments of Neuroanatomy and Forensic Medicine,Medical College,Xi'an Jiaotong University,China. PARTICIPANTS:A total of 1 000 patients of ASAⅠ-Ⅱgrade,without genetic connection,were enrolled in this study,comprising 520 males and 480 females,aged(70.1±4.6) years and weighing(57.3±7.5) kg.No patients suffered from cognitive dysfunction. METHODS:The patients were equally and randomly divided into intravenous anesthesia and gas anesthesia groups.Total intravenous anesthesia and inhaled anesthesia were used.Genomic DNA from whole blood was extracted.The ApoE gene was amplified by PCR.Restriction fragment length polymorphism of ApoE gene was analyzed.Cognitive function was evaluated by Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE).Patients scoring<25 points were diagnosed with cognitive dysfunction. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Correlation of ApoE gene frequency and ApoEε4 allele to MMSE scores was measured. RESULTS:MMSE scores in patients from the gas anesthesia group significantly decreased 3 days after surgery,compared with the intravenous anesthesia group.The proportion of patients that scored<25 points was significantly greater in the gas anesthesia group compared with the intravenous anesthesia group 3 days after surgery.Reduced MMSE scores closely correlated with expression of the ApoEε4 allele in the gas anesthesia group(odds ratio = 2.83;95%confidence interval was 1.25-6.39,P<0.05).However,decreased MMSE scores did not closely correlated with expression of the ApoEε4 allele in the intravenous anesthesia group(odds ratio = 0.96;95% confidence interval was 0.37-2.39,P>0.05). CONCLUSION:Results demonstrated a correlation between cognitive dysfunction and ApoE single nucleotide polymorphism in elderly patients after gas anesthesia.However,no relationship between cognitive dysfunction and ApoE single nucleotide polymorphism was determined in elderly patients following intravenous anesthesia.Therefore,elderly patients,especially those expressing the ApoEε4 gene,should be cautiously exposed to gas anesthesia.Yingmin Cai Haitao Hu Rongliang Xue Pengbin Liu Gaifeng Feng Weijiang Dong Bin Yu Minggang Zhao 2009Neural Regeneration Research2009,4,4:0
8Measuring the Efficiency of Executive MBA Programs in China显示文摘Based on the data of the best EMBA ranking in China selected by Manager Magazine,DEA and Malmquist index were used to evaluate the efficiency of EMBA programs of top 17 business schools in China.The results show that the overall EMBA programs have a high value on technical efficiency due to the high pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency.As the technical regress deepened,the total factor productivity of EMBA program presents a dropped tendency.According to the cross analysis of technical efficiency and total factor productivity,different business schools should adopt different development strategies.Pengbin Gao Congshu Liu Guangjian Zhang 2019经济管理学刊(中英文版)2019,8,2:0
9piRT-IFC:Physics-informed real-time impedance flow cytometry for the characterization of cellular intrinsic electrical properties显示文摘Real-time transformation was important for the practical implementation of impedance flow cytometry.The major obstacle was the time-consuming step of translating raw data to cellular intrinsic electrical properties(e.g.,specific membrane capacitance C_(sm) and cytoplasm conductivityσ_(cyto)).Although optimization strategies such as neural network-aided strategies were recently reported to provide an impressive boost to the translation process,simultaneously achieving high speed,accuracy,and generalization capability is still challenging.To this end,we proposed a fast parallel physical fitting solver that could characterize single cells’C_(sm)andσ_(cyto)within 0.62 ms/cell without any data preacquisition or pretraining requirements.We achieved the 27000-fold acceleration without loss of accuracy compared with the traditional solver.Based on the solver,we implemented physics-informed real-time impedance flow cytometry(piRT-IFC),which was able to characterize up to 100,902 cells’C_(sm) andσ_(cyto)within 50 min in a real-time manner.Compared to the fully connected neural network(FCNN)predictor,the proposed real-time solver showed comparable processing speed but higher accuracy.Furthermore,we used a neutrophil degranulation cell model to represent tasks to test unfamiliar samples without data for pretraining.After being treated with cytochalasin B and N-Formyl-Met-Leu-Phe,HL-60 cells underwent dynamic degranulation processes,and we characterized cell’s C_(sm)andσ_(cyto)using piRT-IFC.Compared to the results from our solver,accuracy loss was observed in the results predicted by the FCNN,revealing the advantages of high speed,accuracy,and generalizability of the proposed piRT-IFC.Xiaofeng Luan Pengbin Liu Di Huang Haiping Zhao Yuang Li Sheng Sun Wenchang Zhang Lingqian Zhang Mingxiao Li Tian Zhi Yang Zhao Chengjun Huang 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,3:0
