1Major ozonated autohemotherapy promotes the recovery of upper limb motor function in patients with acute cerebral infarction显示文摘Major ozonated autohemotherapy is classically used in treating ischemic disorder of the lower limbs. In the present study, we performed major ozonated autohemotherapy treatment in patients with acute cerebral infarction, and assessed outcomes according to the U.S. National Institutes of Health Stroke Score, Modified Rankin Scale, and transcranial magnetic stimulation motor-evoked potential. Compared with the control group, the clinical total effective rate and the cortical potential rise rate of the upper limbs were significantly higher, the central motor conduction time of upper limb was significantly shorter, and the upper limb motor-evoked potential amplitude was significantly increased, in the ozone group. In the ozone group, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Score was positively correlated with the central motor conduction time and the motor-evoked potential amplitude of the upper limb. Central motor conduction time and motor-evoked potential amplitude of the upper limb may be effective indicators of motor-evoked potentials to assess upper limb motor function in cerebral infarct patients. 2Factors Associated with Thrombolysis Outcome in Ischemic Stroke Patients with Atrial Fibrillation显示文摘The outcome of early intravenous thrombolysis for ischemic stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF)is worse than that without thrombosis. How to increase the efficacy of intravenous thrombolysis for AF-related ischemic stroke remains largely unknown. In this study, we investigated factors that influence the effect of intravenous thrombolysis in these patients. Our results showed that thrombolysis was independently associated with a favorable outcome(P \ 0.001) and did not influence the mortality of AF-related ischemic stroke, although it increased the risk of hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. Risk factors for a poor outcome at admission were:heart failure(P = 0.045); high systolic pressure(P = 0.039); high blood glucose(P = 0.030); and a high National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) score(P \ 0.001). Moreover, high systolic pressure at admission(P = 0.007), high blood glucose(P = 0.027), and a high NIHSS score(P \ 0.001) were independent risk factors for mortality at 3 months. Besides thrombolysis, a high NIHSS score(P = 0.006) and warfarin taken within 48 h before stroke onset(P = 0.032) were also independent risk factors for symptomatic hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. 3Evolution of the CBM reservoir-forming dynamic system with mixed secondary biogenic and thermogenic gases in the Huainan Coalfield,China显示文摘The secondary biogenic gas is an important original type of the coalbed methane (CBM) in China. Based on the analyses of sedimentary and burial history of the Permian coal-bearing strata, combined with thermal history and gas generation process of coals, the CBM reservoir-forming dynamic system with mixed secondary biogenic and thermogenic gases in the Huainan Coalfield is subdivided into four evolutionary stages as follows: (i) shallowly-buried peat and early biogenic gas stage; (ii) deeply buried coal seams and thermogenic gas stage; (iii) exhumation of coal-bearing strata and adsorbed gas lost stage; and (iv) re-buried coal-bearing strata and secondary biogenic gas supplement stage. The Huainan CBM reservoir-forming model has the features of the basin-centered gas accumulation. The evolution of the reservoir-forming dynamic system proves that the thermogenic gas is not the main gas source for the Huainan CBM reservoir. Only the secondary biogenic gases as an additional source replenish into the coal bed after basin-uplift, erosional unroofing and subsequent scattering of thermogenic gases. 6Electroacupuncture reduces injury to the blood-brain barrier following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘This study used electroacupuncture at Renzhong (DU26) and Baihui (DU20) in a rat model of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. Neurological deficit scores, western blotting, and reverse transcription-PCR results demonstrated that electroacupuncture markedly reduced neurological deficits, decreased corpus striatum aquaporin-4 protein and mRNA expression, and relieved damage to the blood-brain barrier in a rat model of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. 7Simultaneous detection of enteroviruses from surface waters by real-time RT-PCR with universal primers显示文摘In order to realize simultaneous quantitative detection of various enteroviruses from water samples, a real-time reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction (real-time RT-PCR) method was developed with universal primer pairs designed based on the highly conserved non-coding region sequences of genome targeting poliovirus, coxsackievirus and enterovirus 71. The recombinant plasmid was constructed as enterovirus DNA standard by cloning poliovirus cDNA into a pMD18-T vector. The real-time RT-PCR method utilizing SYBR Green I was optimized. As a result of a series of examinations, the detection limit of the method was found to be 2.31 genome equivalent copy (GEC)/μL, the intraand inter-assay variations were lower than 2% and 5%, respectively, and enteroviruses were well distinguished from other microorganisms. There was a good linear relationship (r 2 = 0.997) between the logarithm of viral density and cycle threshold in a wide range of 2.31 × 10 0 to 2.31 × 10 9 GEC/μL. 8esveratrol inhibits necroptosis by mediating the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL pathway in myocardial hypoxia/reoxygenation injury显示文摘Resveratrol(RES)protects myocardial cells from hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R)-caused injury.However,the mechanism of this effect has not been clarified.Thus,in this study,we aimed to determine whether RES attenuates H/R-induced cell necroptosis by inhibiting the tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)/receptor-interacting protein kinase 1(RIP1)/RIP3/mixed-lineage kinase domain-like(MLKL)signaling pathway.Rat myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)models and H/R-injured cell models were constructed.Our study showed that myocardial H/R injury significantly increased the levels of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL by western blot analysis.Cell viability assay and 4,6-dianmidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI)-propidium iodide staining showed that the cell viability was decreased,and necroptosis was increased after myocardial H/R injury.The expressions of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL in H/R myocardial cells treated with different concentrations of RES were significantly downregulated.In addition,we also found that the cell viability was increased and necroptosis was decreased in dose-dependent manners when H/R-injured cells were treated with RES.In addition,the enhanced effect of TNF-αon necroptosis in myocardial H/R-injured cells was improved by RES,and the effect of RES was confirmed in vivo in I/R rats.This study also showed that RES suppresses necroptosis in H9c2 cells,which may occur through the inhibition of the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL signaling pathway.Our data suggest that necroptosis is a promising therapeutic target and may be a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of myocardial I/R injury.Yongjun Hu Hongwei Pan Jianqiang Peng Jin He Mingxiang Tang Sulan Yan Jingjing Rong Junshan Li Zhaofen Zheng Haijun Wang Yanfu Liu Xin Zhong 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,4:6
9Mineral phase and structure changes during roasting of fine-grained carbonaceous gold ores and their effects on gold leaching efficiency显示文摘While roasting has been widely applied to reduce the negative effect of carbonaceous matters on gold extraction from fine-grained carbonaceous gold ores, the phase and structure changes of minerals during roasting and their in fluences on the leachi ng rate of gold have not been fully understood. This limits the extraction of carbonaceous gold deposits. The current work examines the oxidation process of a fine-grained carbonaceous gold ore during roasting using a range of techniques including X-ray diffraction (XRD), seanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS) analysis and pore structure analysis together with gold leaching tests. The results show that during the process of oxidative roasting, the carbonaceous matters (organic carbon and graphitic carbon) and pyrite were completely decomposed at 600 ℃ with the carbonaceous components burned and pyrite oxidized into hematite. At 650 ℃, while dolomite was decomposed into calcia, magnesia, calcium sulfate etc., the calcine structure became loose and porous, leading to a high gold leaching rate from the roasted product. Above 750 ℃, the porous calcite structure started to collapse along with the agglomeration, leading to the secondary encapsulation of gold particles, which contributed to the sharp drop in the gold leaching rate of the roasted product. 10Staged angioplasty versus regular carotid artery stenting in patients with carotid artery stenosis at high risk of hyperperfusion:a randomised clinical trial显示文摘Background and purpose Hyperperfusion(HP)is a devastating complication associated with carotid artery stenting(CAS)or endarterectomy.The efficacy and safety of staged angioplasty(SAP)in patients with CAS at high risk of HP remains unclear.We sought to determine whether SAP is superior to regular CAS in patients with high risk of HP.Methods A randomised,multicentre open-label clinical trial with blinded outcome assessment(STEP)was conducted.Patients with severe carotid stenosis at high risk of HP were randomly assigned(1:1)to the SAP or regular CAS group.The primary endpoint was hyperperfusion syndrome(HPS)and intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH)within 30 days after the procedure.Results From November 2014 to January 2017,a total of 64 patients were enrolled in 11 centres.33 patients were allocated to the SAP group and 31 to the regular CAS group.At 30 days,the rate of primary endpoint was 0.0%(0/33)in the SAP group and 9.7%(3/31)in the regular CAS group(absolute risk reduction(ARR),9.7%;95%CI−20.1% to 0.7%;p=0.11).As one of the secondary endpoints,the incidence of HP phenomenon(HPP)was lower in the SAP group than the regular CAS group(0.0%vs 22.6%,ARR,−22.6%;95% CI−36.8%to−10.2%;p=0.04).Conclusion The rate of HPS and ICH was not significantly lower in SAP group;the extended secondary endpoint of HPP,however,significantly reduced,which suggested that SAP may be a safe and effective carotid revascularisation procedure to prevent HP.Dapeng Mo Baixue Jia Huaizhang Shi Yaxuan Sun Qingan Liu Chengzhe Fan Jianping Deng Jinglin Yuan Wei Wu Changchun Jiang Guilian Zhang Hanjun Du Ning Ma Feng Gao Xuan Sun Ligang Song Lian Liu Guangge Peng Yongjun Wang Yilong Wang Zhongrong Miao the STEP Study Group 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,1:3
11Comparison of outcome of patients with acute minor ischaemic stroke treated with intravenous t-PA, DAPT or aspirin显示文摘Background Whether to treat minor stroke with intravenous tissue plasminogen activator(t-PA)treatment or antiplatelet therapy is a dilemma.Our study aimed to explore whether intravenous t-PA treatment,dual antiplatelet therapy(DAPT)and aspirin have different efficacies on outcomes in patients with minor stroke.Methods A post hoc analysis of patients with acute minor stroke treated with intravenous t-PA within 4.5 hours from a nationwide multicentric electronic medical record and patients with acute minor stroke treated with DAPT and aspirin from the Clopidogrel with Aspirin in Acute Minor Stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack Database.Minor stroke was defined by a score of 0-3 on the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale at randomisation.Favourable functional outcome(defined as modified Rankin Scale(mRS)score of 0-1 or 0-2 at 3 months).Results Compared with those treated with intravenous t-PA,no significant association with 3-month favourable functional outcome(defined as mRS score of 0-1)was found neither in patients treated with aspirin(87.8%vs 89.4%;OR,0.83;95% CI,0.46 to 1.50;p=0.53)nor those treated with DAPT(87.4%vs 89.4%;OR,0.84;95% CI,0.46 to 1.52;p=0.56).Similar results were observed for the favourable functional outcome defined as mRS score of 0-2 at 3 months.Conclusions In our study,no significant advantage of intravenous t-PA over DAPT or aspirin was found.Due to insufficient sample size,our study is probably unable to draw such a conclusion that that intravenous t-PA was superior or non-superior to DAPT.Peng Wang Mengyuan Zhou Yuesong Pan Xia Meng Xingquan Zhao Liping Liu Hao Li Yongjun Wang Zhimin Wang Yilong Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2:3
12Dry Separation of Iron Minerals from Low-Grade Coal-series Kaolin显示文摘Dry separation of iron mineral from low-grade coal-series kaolin in Hubei Province of China was investigated. The structure and chemical composition of the kaolin ore were determined by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray Fluorescence(XRF) analyses. The narrow particle size range classification, dry magnetic separation and calcination were carried out to evaluate the particle size distribution, and the relation between the content of iron and the whiteness. Experimental results revealed that the highest content of iron(3.70%) in kaolin ore was in the particle size range from 60 to 74 μm, and pyrite was the main occurrence of iron in the kaolin ore. Dry magnetic separation showed that the removal rate of iron in kaolin ore could be increased obviously after calcination, and the rate of iron removal was 60% in the particle size range from 60 to 74 μm. 14Light-induced irreversible structural phase transition in trilayer graphene显示文摘A crystal structure has a profound influence on the physical properties of the corresponding material.By synthesizing crystals with particular symmetries,one can strongly tune their properties,even for the same chemical configuration(compare graphite and diamond,for instance).Even more interesting opportunities arise when the structural phases of crystals can be changed dynamically through external stimulations.Such abilities,though rare,lead to a number of exciting phenomena,such as phase-change memory effects.In the case of trilayer graphene,there are two common stacking configurations(ABA and ABC)that have distinct electronic band structures and exhibit very different behaviors.Domain walls exist in the trilayer graphene with both stacking orders,showing fascinating new physics such as the quantum valley Hall effect.Extensive efforts have been dedicated to the phase engineering of trilayer graphene.However,the manipulation of domain walls to achieve precise control of local structures and properties remains a considerable challenge.Here,we experimentally demonstrate that we can switch from one structural phase to another by laser irradiation,creating domains of different shapes in trilayer graphene.The ability to control the position and orientation of the domain walls leads to fine control of the local structural phases and properties of graphene,offering a simple but effective approach to create artificial two-dimensional materials with designed atomic structures and electronic and optical properties.Jianyu Zhang Jinsen Han Gang Peng Xi Yang Xiaoming Yuan Yongjun Li Jianing Chen Wei Xu Ken Liu Zhihong Zhu Weiqi Cao Zheng Han Jiayu Dai Mengjian Zhu Shiqiao Qin Kostya S.Novoselov 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:2
15Analysis of risk factors associated with endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography for patients with liver cirrhosis: a multicenter, retrospective, clinical study显示文摘Background:Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)is the endoscopic modality of choice for the treatment of biliary and pancreatic diseases.However,patients with cirrhosis,particularly those with decompensated cirrhosis,are believed to be at increased risk for complications associated with ERCP.There is a paucity of literature describing the outcomes of ERCP for patients with cirrhosis.This study aimed to investigate the outcomes of ERCP for cirrhosis patients,especially adverse events,and evaluated its safety and efficacy.Methods:We performed a multicenter,retrospective study of all patients at Beijing Friendship Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University,Xijing Hospital affiliated to Air Force Military Medical University,Beijing Youan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University,and the Fifth Medical Center of the People’s Liberation Army General Hospital from June 2003 to August 2019.The adverse events of inpatient ERCP for patients with(n=182)and without liver cirrhosis(controls;n=385)were compared.Results:A total of 567 patients underwent ERCP between January 2003 and December 2019 were enrolled in this study.Compared to patients without cirrhosis,patients with cirrhosis were at higher risk for postoperative complications(odds ratio[OR],4.172;95%confidence interval[CI],1.232–7.031;P<0.001)such as postoperative pancreatitis(OR,2.026;95%CI,1.002–4.378;P=0.001)and cholangitis(OR,3.903;95%CI,1.001–10.038;P=0.036).The main indications for ERCP for patients with cirrhosis in this study included choledocholithiasis(101 cases;55.5%),benign bile duct strictures(46 cases;25.3%),and malignant bile duct strictures(28 cases;15.4%).Among them,23 patients(12.6%)underwent balloon dilation and 79 patients(43.4%)underwent sphincterotomy.Of the patients with cirrhosis,delayed bleeding occurred in ten patients(5.5%),postoperative pancreatitis occurred in 80 patients(44.0%),and postoperative cholangitis occurred in 25 patients(13.7%).An additional multivariate analysis showed that the total bilirubin(TBIL)level(OR,4.58;95%CI,2.37–6.70)and Child-Pugh score of C(OR,3.11;95%CI,1.04–5.37)were risk factors for postoperative complications in patients with cirrhosis.Conclusions:Compared with the general population of patients undergoing ERCP,patients with cirrhosis were more prone to postoperative pancreatitis and cholangitis.TBIL levels and Child-Pugh scores were risk factors for postoperative complications in patients with cirrhosis.Jielin Li Jiexuan Hu Peng Li Yongdong Wu Yongjun Wang Ming Ji Haiyang Hua Wenbin Ran Yanglin Pan Shutian Zhang 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,19:2

20Effects of grain boundary diffusion of PrCu alloy on microstructure and coercivity of hot deformed(Nd,Ce)-Fe-B magnets显示文摘The technology of using high abundance rare earth element Ce in permanent magnets has attracted many concerns.In this work,the magnetic properties and microstructures of hot deformed(Nd_(1-x)Ce_(x))_(13.8)Fe_(76.1)Co_(4)Ga_(0.5)B_(5.6) magnets and a selective magnet treated with PrCu grain boundary diffusion process(GBDP) were investigated systematically.It is found that Ce is beneficial to improving the plastic deformation ability of NdFeB magnets.The strongest c-axis orientation is achieved in the HD magnets with Ce concentration of x=0.3,resulting in good comprehensive magnetic properties of B_(r)=13.00 kGs,H_(cj)=10.12 kOe,(BH)_(max)=38.42 MGOe.Based on that,the GBDP was implemented on the magnets with the best orientation using Pr_(68)Cu_(32) ribbons and the magnetic properties of B_(r)=12.87 kGs,H_(cj)=15.65 kOe,(BH)_(max)=37.48 MGOe were obtained.The results of composition distribution and Curie temperature test of the GBDPed magnets illustrate that Pr diffuses into the(Nd,Ce)_(2)(Fe,Co)_(14)B grains to substitute Ce,which not only improves the Curie temperature of the grains,but also enhances the magnetic performance of the magnets.Through GBDP,the thermal stability of magnets has also been improved.Haijun Peng Dunbo Yu Xinyuan Bai Xiao Lin Yongjun Mao Zilong Wang Yang Luo 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,8:1
