2毛发研究的新模型——猪毛囊体外培养的研究显示文摘对猪毛囊体外无血清培养的条件和方法进行了研究,并就其在体外培养中对环孢素A(CsA)、胰岛素生长因子-I(IGF-I)和转化生长因子β-1(TGF-β1)的反应性进行观察。结果发现(1)猪毛囊在WilliamsE加L-谷酰氨等成分的培养基上生长良好,从而建立了猪毛囊体外无血清培养模型,并使毛囊分离和培养的方法标准化。建立的猪毛囊体外培养模型毛囊生长曲线与人毛囊非常相似。(2)体外培养的猪毛囊对CsA、IGF-I和TGF-β1均有敏感的反应性,反应浓度与人毛囊体外培养的浓度相似。(3)猪毛囊体外培养中CsA明显促进毛囊细胞分裂增殖和抑制毛囊细胞凋亡。所以猪毛囊体外培养模型是研究毛囊生理较好的方法。范卫新 Lars Mecklenburg Ralf Paus 2002临床皮肤科杂志2002,31,11:9
3Use of antibiotic-loaded cement in total knee arthroplasty显示文摘Bone cement has the capacity to release antibiotic molecules if any antibiotic is included in it, and these elution properties are improved as cement porosity is increased. In vitro studies have shown high local antibiotic concentration for many hours or few days after its use. Antibiotic loaded bone cement(ALBC) is helpful when treating an infection in total knee arthroplasty(TKA) revision surgery. The purpose of this paper was to review the evidence for the routine use of ALBC in TKA in the literature, its pros and cons. Many authors have recommended the use of ALBC also in primary TKA for infection prophylaxis, but the evidence based on data from National Registries, randomized clinical trials and meta-analysis suggest a protective effect of ALBC against infection when used in hips, but not(or only mild) in knees. A possible explanation to this finding is that the duration and quantity of locally elevated antibiotic levels after surgery are smaller in TKA, due to the smaller amount of cement used for fixation in TKA-only a layer in the bone surface. There are some concerns about the routine use of ALBC in primary TKA as prophylaxis against infection: Firstly, there is a risk of hypersensivity or toxicity even when the chance is highly improbable. Secondly, there is a reduction in the mechanical properties of the cement, but this can be probably neglected if the antibiotic is used in low doses, not more than 1 g per 40 g cement package. Another significant concern is the increased economic cost, which could be overlooked if there were enough savings in treating fewer prosthetic infections. Finally, there is also a risk of selection of antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria and this could be the main concern. If used, the choice of the antibiotic mixed in ALBC should consider microbiological aspects(broad antimicrobial spectrum and low rate of resistant bacteria), physical and chemical aspects(thermal stability, high water solubility), pharmacological characteristics(low risk to allergic reactions or toxicity) and economic aspects(not too expensive). The most commonly used antibiotics in ALBC are gentamicin, tobramycin and vancomycin. In conclusion, there is a paucity of randomized clinical trials in the use of ALBC in primary TKAs and the actual evidence of the effect of ALBC in reducing the risk of infection is insufficient. This, in addition to concerns about patient safety, risks of increase in the antibiotic resistance of microorganisms and the increase in costs in the procedure, lead us to recommend a cautious use of ALBC, perhaps only in high-risk patients(immunocompromised, morbidly obese, diabetic and patients with previous history of fracture or infection around the knee) unless the benefits of ALBC use were fully proven. 4环孢素对毛囊细胞凋亡和部分生长因子mRNA表达的影响显示文摘目的:探讨环孢素A(CsA)促毛发生长的作用机制。方法:应用小鼠触须毛囊体外培养模型,通过观察毛囊生长速度、细胞增殖、细胞凋亡和部分生长因子mRNA的表达,对CsA促毛发生长的机制进行研究。结果:CsA明显促进毛囊生长和抑制毛囊进入退行期。CsA促毛发生长的作用可以完全被抗血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)和抗肝细胞生长因子(HGF)受体中和抗体所阻断。CsA可促进Ki67抗原表达,抑制毛囊细胞的凋亡。逆转录-聚合酶链反应(RT-PCR)检测发现,培养的第4和(或)第6天,CsA处理组VEGF、HGF和神经生长因子(NGF)mRNA表达高于阴性对照组,而follistatinmRNA表达则明显低于阴性对照组。结论:小鼠触须毛囊体外培养为研究CsA促毛发生长机制的研究提供了一个较好的模型。CsA通过刺激毛囊细胞增殖和抑制细胞凋亡而刺激小鼠触须毛囊生长。该作用可能是通过影响VEGF、HGF、NGF以及follistatin的表达而发挥作用的。范卫新 Mecklenburg L 朱文元 Paus R 2003临床皮肤科杂志2003,32,8:4
5Modelling of tropospheric delays in geosynchronous synthetic aperture radar显示文摘As a direct consequence of the orbital height, the integration time in geosynchronous synthetic aperture radar(GEO SAR) with metric or decimetric azimuth resolutions is in the order of several hundreds or even thousands of seconds. With such long integration time, the compensation of residual tropospheric propagation terms poses one of the fundamental challenges associated with GEO SAR missions. In order to better characterise the impact of the propagation errors on GEO SAR imaging, we put forward a model for the simulation of the tropospheric delay appropriate for the accurate simulation of GEO SAR surveys. The suggested model, with a deterministic background component and a random turbulent one, incorporates some of the most recent meteorological data for the characterization of the troposphere. To illustrate the relevance of the derivation, the suggested model is used for performance estimation and raw data simulation of GEO SAR raw data. 9When Edge Computing Meets IoT Systems: Analysis of Case Studies显示文摘On a macroscopic level,an edge computing architecture looks like a distributed and decentralized IT(Information Technology)architecture.More in detail,it could be defined as a mesh network of micro data centers capable of processing and storing critical data locally,and to transmit all data received and/or processed to a central data center or a cloud storage repository.This network topology,also taking advantage of the availability on the market of cost-effective small form factor(SFF)electronic components and systems decreasing,brings the essential components of processing,storage,and networking closer to the sources that generate the data.The typical use case is that of Internet of Things(IoT)devices and implementations,which often face latency problems,lack of bandwidth,reliability,which cannot be addressed through the conventional cloud model.In this context,the edge computing architecture can reduce the size of data to be sent to the cloud,processing critical data,sensitive to latency,at the point of origin,via a smart device,or sending it to an intermediate server,located nearby.The aim of this paper is to report some of the main aspects and significant features of edge computing and analyzing several popular case studies.Fabio Arena Giovanni Pau 2020China Communications2020,17,10:3

11Positive Charge Region in Lower Part of Thunderstorm and Preliminary Breakdown Process of Negative Cloud-to-Ground Lightning显示文摘A new lightning locating technology,called Lightning Mapping Array(LMA),has been developed.The system takes advantage of GPS technology to measure the times of arrival(TOA) of lightning impulsive very high frequency(VHF) radiation events at each remote location.The spatiotemporal development processes of lightning are described in three-dimension by measurement of the system with high time resolution(50 ns) and space precision(50-100 m).The charge structures in thunderstorm and their relationship with lightning discharge processes are revealed.The temporal and spatial characteristics of preliminary breakdown process involved in negative cloud-to-ground(CG) lightning discharges are analyzed based on the data of lightning VHF radiation events.The effect of positive charge region in lower part of thunderstorm on the occurrence of negative CG lightning discharge is discussed.The results indicate that the preliminary breakdown process with longer duration in negative CG lightning discharges is an intracloud discharge process.It occurs between negative and positive charge regions located in middle and lower parts of thunderstorm respectively. 13Isolation of protein from Chlorella sorokiniana CY1 using liquid biphasic flotation assisted with sonication through sugaring-out effect显示文摘Microalgae,a sustainable source of multi beneficial components has been discovered and could be utilised in pharmaceutical,bioenergy and food applications.This study aims to investigate the sugaring-out effect on the recovery of protein from wet green microalga,Chlorella sorokiniana CY1 which was assisted with sonication.A comparison of monosaccharides and disaccharides as one of the phaseforming constituents shows that the monosaccharides,glucose was the most suitable sugar in forming the phases with acetonitrile to enhance the production of protein(52% of protein).The protein productivity of microalgae was found to be significantly influenced by the volume ratio of both phases,as the yield of protein increased to 77%.The interval time between the sonication as well as the sonication modes were influencing the protein productivity as well.The optimum protein productivity was obtained with 10s of resting time in between sonication.Pulse mode of sonication was suitable to break down the cell wall of microalgae compared to continuous mode as a lower protein yield was obtained with the application of continuous mode.The optimum condition for protein extraction were found as followed:200g/L glucose as bottom phase with volume ratio of 1:1.25,10s of resting time for ultrasonication,5s of ultrasonication in pulse mode and 0.25g of biomass weight.The high yield of protein about 81% could be obtained from microalgae which demonstrates the potential of this source and expected to play an important role in the future.CHIA Shir Reen CHEW Kit Wayne SHOW Pau Loke SIVAKUMAR Manickam LING Tau Chuan TAO Yang 2019Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,3:2
14Prognostic impact of atrial fibrillation on clinical outcomes of acute coronary syndromes,heart failure and chronic kidney disease显示文摘Atrial fibrillation(AF) is the most common type of sustained arrhythmia,which is now on course to reach epidemic proportions in the elderly population. AF is a commonly encountered comorbidity in patients with cardiac and major non-cardiac diseases. Morbidity and mortality associated with AF makes it a major healthcare burden. The objective of our article is to determine the prognostic impact of AF on acute coronary syndromes,heart failure and chronic kidney disease. Multiple studies have been conducted to determine if AF has an independent role in the overall mortality of such patients. 17Laplace plane and low inclination geosynchronous radar mission design显示文摘This study is inspired by the Laplace orbit plane property of requiring minimal station-keeping and therefore its potential use for long-term geosynchronous synthetic aperture radar(GEOSAR) imaging. A set of GEOSAR user requirements is presented and analysed to identify significant mission requirements. Imaging geometry and power demand are assessed as a function of relative satellite speed(which is determined largely by choice of orbit inclination). Estimates of the cost of station-keeping as a function of orbit inclination and right ascension are presented to compare the benefits of different orbit choices.
