1High performance decoupled active and reactive power control for three-phase grid-tied inverters using model predictive control显示文摘Finite control set-model predictive control (FCS-MPC) is employed in this paper to control the operation of a three-phase grid-connected string inverter based on a direct PQ control scheme. The main objective is to achieve high-performance decoupled control of the active and reactive powers injected to the grid from distributed energy resources (DER).The FCS-MPC scheme instantaneously searches for and applies the optimum inverter switching state that can achieve certain goals, such as minimum deviation between reference and actual power;so that both power components (P and Q) are well controlled to their reference values.In addition, an effective method to attenuate undesired cross coupling between the P and Q control loops, which occurs only during transient operation, is investigated. The proposed method is based on the variation of the weight factors of the terms of the FCS-MPC cost function, so a higher weight factor is assigned to the cost function term that is exposed to greater disturbance. Empirical formulae of optimum weight factors as functions of the reference active and reactive power signals are proposed and mathematically derived. The investigated FCS-MPC control scheme is incorporated with the LVRT function to support the grid voltage in fulfilling and accomplishing the up-to-date grid codes. The LVRT algorithm is based on a modification of the references of active and reactive powers as functions of the instantaneous grid voltage such that suitable values of P and Q are injected to the grid during voltage sag.The performance of the elaborated FCS-MPC PQ scheme is studied under various operating scenarios, including steady-state and transient conditions. 11Urinary Continence after Orthotopic Detubularized Ileocaecal Pouch Versus Ileal Neobladder:Does it Differ?显示文摘Objective:To compare both techniques of detubularized ileocaecal and ileal neobladder post radical cystectomy with regards to functional results in the form of continence(day and night)with the use of urodynamics(for assessment of voiding volume and pouch capacity).Methods:This is a prospective randomized clinical trial that was done at the National Cancer Institute,Cairo University from August 2016 and January 2018.Sixty-two patients presented with muscle invasive urinary bladder cancer and no history of urinary incontinence or urethral stricture were included in this study.All patients underwent preoperative cystoscopic examination.Radical cystectomy was done,and patients were divided into two groups according to the type of diversion.Group A included 31 patients with orthotopoic detubularized ileal neobladder and group B included 31 patients with orthotopic detubularized ileocaecal neobladder.Urodynamic studies were done to 27 patients in group A and 27 patients in group B at just 6 and 12 months postoperatively.Results:The mean age in group A was 59.2±8.0 while in group B was 57.8±6.6.In each group,we compared day and night continence in a period of 3 and 6 months.Postoperatively in group A,day continence after 3 months was 81.5% which improved to 96.3% after 6 months postoperatively with significant P-value(0.025).Night continence after 3 months was fair in 66.7%,unsatisfactory in 33.3% and 0% for good state which improved to 70% for fair state,18% unsatisfactory and 11% for good state after 6 months with significant P-value(0.035)while in group B,day continence after 3 months and 6 months postoperatively was 100% and night continence after 3 months was good in 0.0%,fair in 78.6% and unsatisfactory in 21.4% which improved to 10.7% for good state,85.7% for fair state and 3.6% for unsatisfactory after 6 months with significant P-value(0.005).Conclusion:There are no significant differences between detubularized ileocaecal and ileal neobladder in relation to continence.However,there is significant change in each type of diversion separately with time.Abdalla El Azab Sameh Kotb Amro Mostafa Ahmed Mahmoud Shouman Mohamed Salama 2018Advances in Modern Oncology Research2018,4,5:0
12Chlorine as an integrated approach for environmental health and hygiene:A case study on evaluation of the performance of waste stabilization ponds located at 11 governorates in Egypt显示文摘The current study summarizes the current status of wastewater stabilization ponds(WSPs)treatment plants that have already been built in 11 governorates throughout Egypt.Moreover,this study aims to determine the most appropriate chlorine dose for waste stabilization ponds(WSPs)effluents to ensure the treated effluents are suitable for reuse in unrestricted irrigation and to comply with the current legislation on direct discharge onto water bodies.According to the findings,the chlorine doses used as a disinfectant in the treated effluents of the majority of WSP treatment plants ranged from 3 to 13 mg/L.Meanwhile,two of the WSPs treatment plants effluents,the Qus WSPs treatment plant in Qena governorate and the Al Zarabii WSPs treatment plant in Asyut governorate used high chlorine doses reached to 17 and 19 mg/L,respectively.This is due to the fact that both the Qus and Al Zarabii WSPs treatment plants have a high organic load,which necessitated the use of more chlorine to achieve the optimum chlorine dose at 13 mg/L for Qus and 11mg/L for Al Zarabii.The findings demonstrated that chlorine has a powerful effect in completely removing bacteria.Furthermore,in most chlorine-treated wastewater final effluents,as the chlorine doses increased,the chlorophyll-a reading decreased.The amount of trihalomethanes(THMs)produced as disinfectant byproduct was measured.The results proved that the water can be used in unrestricted irrigation,and after adding chlorine,it can be dumped on water bodies without health risks.Sayeda M.Abdo Mohamed Azab El-Liethy Hala S.Doma Gamila E.El Taweel Gamila H.Ali 2022Emerging Contaminants2022,8,1:0
13DNA Binding and Antitumor Activity of a New Fluores cent ProbeEu(Ⅲ)-Complex Containing 4-Methyl-Coumarin Moiety显示文摘A new europium(Ⅲ)complex containing(4-Methyl-2-oxo-2 H-chromen-7-yloxy)-acetic acid moiety(CMMC)was synthesized,characterized,and confirmed as antitumor agent and fluorescent probe.The spectroscopic measurements of Eu(Ⅲ)in the presence of CMMC were obtained in different solvents.The results show that the strongest Eu(Ⅲ)emission bands were monitored in iso-propyl alcohol while the weakest Eu(Ⅲ)emission band was observed in acetonitrile.The interaction of Eu(Ⅲ)-(CMMC)2 complex with DNA was monitored using absorption and emission techniques.From fluorescence titration measurements,the binding constants of DNA with Eu(Ⅲ)-(CMMC)_2 complex were found to be 1.04×10~5 L·mol^(-1) in Tris-HCl and 1.17×10~7 L·mol^(-1) in DMSO-Tris-HCl buffer(9∶1 V/V).Hypochromism was observed from the absorption titration experiment which indicates the intercalation of Eu(Ⅲ)-complex between the base pair of DNA.This result further confirmed by fluorescent Ethidium bromide displacement assay.The fluorescence calibration curve was used for the determination of DNA with LOD of 1.2 ng in DMSO-Tris-HCl buffer(9∶1 V/V)and 5 ng in Tris-HCl buffer.The preliminary antitumor investigation shows promising cytotoxicity against MDA-MB-231,MCF-7(mammary cancer),and PC-3(prostate carcinoma)cell lines with IC50 values of 40.63,25.42 and 30.25μmol·L^(-1),respectively.Belal H M Hussein Mostafa A Gouda Omer Sakin Abdulla Faluji Mohamed Gomaa Hassan A Azab Walid Fathalla Sherin Arabi Sa wsan Mosa 2018光谱学与光谱分析2018,38,11:0
