1Genomic and genetic alterations influence the progression of gastric cancer显示文摘Gastric cancer is one of the leading causes of cancerrelated deaths worldwide, although the incidence has gradually decreased in many Western countries. Two main gastric cancer histotypes, intestinal and diffuse, are recognised. Although most of the described genetic alterations have been observed in both types, different genetic pathways have been hypothesized. 4Effects of Urechis unicinctus Juveniles on Chemical Characteristics of Organically Contaminated Coastal Sediment显示文摘Biological activities of marine benthos such as burrowing and feeding may change sediment characteristics.We conducted three experiments to examine the potential of using juveniles of a spoon worm Urechis unicinctus to improve the quality of organically contaminated coastal sediment.Sediment samples were collected from a site that was heavily contaminated with organic matter (Seonso) and two sites that were clean (Myo-do,Dolsan-do).Urechis juveniles,obtained by artificial fertilization and cultured in the laboratory,were introduced to the sediment (weight 3 kg,depth 10 cm) at a density of 500 individuals per aquarium (length 50 cm,width 35 cm,height 30 cm) (Experiment 1),or at densities ranging from 100 to 900 individuals per beaker (Experiment 2).To examine how sediment contamination can be modified by the effects of Urechis,500 individuals (per aquarium) were exposed to the Seonso contaminated sediment that had been mixed with 0-100% clean sand (Experiment 3).Each experiment lasted two months and sediment samples were collected every 15 d to determine the several indexes of sediment quality,which included acid volatile sulfide (AVS),chemical oxygen demand (COD) and total ignition loss (TIL).In Experiment 1,the existence of Urechis did not result in significant changes in quality indexes in the sediments collected from Myo-do,Dolsan-do.However,AVS,COD and TIL of the Seonso sediment all decreased significantly after co-incubation with Urechis juveniles for 30 to 45 d.Experiment 2 showed that a density of at least 300 juveniles per beaker was necessary to significantly reduce all three quality indexes,and the magnitude of reduction was positively correlated with juvenile density.Experiment 3 revealed that Urechis juveniles were effective in reducing the AVS,COD and TIL of the Seonso sediment that had been mixed with 60%,80%,and 80% of clean sand,respectively.The results of the present study therefore indicated that juveniles of this spoon worm have the potential to be used to improve the quality of organically contaminated sediment in coastal waters.KANG Kyoung Ho ZHANG Zhifeng KIM Jae Mini SEON Seung Chun SHAO Mingyu 2010Journal of Ocean University of China2010,9,1:5

6Effects of Different Application Methods and Application Rates of Biological Nano-Selenium on the Quality of Passion Fruit显示文摘[Objectives]To study the effects of different application methods and application rates of biological nano-selenium on the quality of passion fruit.[Methods]In this experiment,passion fruit Tainong 1 was sprayed with biological nano-selenium.The concentration of spraying refers to the recommended application rate of biological nano-selenium manufacturers.Three treatments with different concentrations were carried out:3,4.5 and 6 L/ha biological nano-selenium was sprayed on 100%root,(50%root+50%leaf surface)and 100%leaf surface of passion fruit,respectively.[Results]From the aspects of economic cost and rational utilization of resources,spraying 3 L/ha selenium fertilizer on the leaves of passion fruit played the best role in improving the quality of passion fruit.[Conclusions]To study the selenium-rich production technology of agricultural products and improve the quality of agricultural products is of great significance for improving human health and producing high-quality agricultural products.Wei HUANG Minying SHEN Zhaoliang LIU Yu ZHANG Daobo WANG 2020Medicinal Plant2020,11,3:5
7ERODIBILITY CRITERION FOR AUXILIARY SPILLWAYS OF DAMS显示文摘The ability to reliably design auxiliary spillways has become a pressing requirement because of the very large number of dams involved. An empirical classification index representing the erosional resistance of the overall range of particulate, jointed, and intact earth materials is presented and correlated for a number of practical cases from Arkansas and Kansas in the United States of America and from South Africa with the specific stream power of flows observed to be associated with various degrees of erosion. The United States Department of Agriculture data base and the format in which the dare were prepared for the purposes herein, are deseribed in detail. The modes of erosion that occur in spillways are defined.Guidelines are provided for evaluating the failure status of an erosion damaged spillway that enables determination of whether the incident specific stream power exceeded, equalled, or fell below the erosional resistance of various sections of the ground profile affected. 9Effects of temperature on the mechanical properties of Ti6Al4V powder compacts prepared by magnetic pulse compaction显示文摘The effects of temperature (0-500°C) on the compressive strength,hardness,average relative density,and microstructure of Ti6Al4V powder green compacts prepared by magnetic pulse compaction were investigated.The results show that with increasing heating temperature,the compressive strength first increases and then decreases with the maximum value of 976.74 MPa at 400°C.The average relative density and hardness constantly increase,and their values reach 96.11% and HRA 69.8 at 500°C,respectively.The increase of partial welding is found among the junctions of particles inside the compacts;there is no obvious grain growth inside the compacts within the temperature range.LI Mini YU Haiping LI Chunfeng 2010Rare Metals2010,29,3:3

11Effects of chitosan-TPP nanoparticles on hepatic tissue after severe bleeding显示文摘Recently, chitosan nanoparticles have been an attractive biomaterial for their unique properties. Chitosan nanoparticles are mainly used as drug delivers. However, they are seldom used in wound healing after severe bleeding. In the present paper, chitosan nanoparticles with an average size of 60.2 nm were prepared through ionic gelation and characterized by X-ray diffraction and FT-infrared spectrometry. A new animal model of severe bleeding was made to evaluate its effects on wound healing besides hemostasis. The results showed that it can achieve well hemostatic effects and also induce wound healing after severe bleeding. Blood cells can be absorbed by chitosan nanoparticles and the bleeding is treated. Furthermore, the chitosan nanoparticles sustains longer than other materials in wound healing. At the 15th day after operation, the chitosan nanoparticles with the size of 58.3 nm can still be seen in the new-regenerated hepatic tissue. It can induce the formation of a clear granulation around the wound site. Through histological observation, we find out that chitosan-TPP nanoparticles can induce wound healing through migration of the inflammatory cells and synthesis of collagen.
