| 1 | Low Complexity Joint Hybrid Precoding for Millimeter Wave MIMO Systems显示文摘In millimeter wave(mmWave) multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) systems, hybrid precoding has been widely used to overcome the severe propagation loss. In order to improve the spectrum efficiency with low complexity, we propose a joint hybrid precoding algorithm for single-user mmWave MIMO systems in this paper. By using the concept of equivalent channel, the proposed algorithm skillfully utilizes the idea of alternating optimization to complete the design of RF precoder and combiner. Then, the baseband precoder and combiner are computed by calculating the singular value decomposition of the equivalent channel. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can achieve satisfactory performance with quite low complexity. | 2 | Hybrid Precoder and Combiner Design with Finite Resolution PSs for mmWave MIMO Systems显示文摘Hybrid precoding and combining have been considered as a promising technology, which can provide a compromise between hardware complexity and system performance in millimeter wave multiple-input multiple-output systems. However, most existing hybrid precoder and combiner designs generally assume that infinite resolution phase shifters(PSs) are used to produce the analog beamformers. In a practical scene, the design with accurate PSs can lead to high hardware cost and power consumption. In this paper, we investigate the hybrid precoder and combiner design with finite resolution PSs in millimeter wave systems. We employ alternate optimization as the main strategy to jointly design analog precoder and combiner. In addition, we propose a low complexity algorithm, where the analog beamformers are implemented only by finite resolution PSs to maximize spectral efficiency. Then, the digital precoder and combiner are designed based on the obtained analog beamformers to improve the spectral efficiency. | 4 | Room-Temperature Superconductivity in Yb/Lu Substituted Clathrate Hexahydrides under Moderate Pressure显示文摘Room temperature superconductivity is a dream that mankind has been chasing for a century.In recent years,the synthesis of H3S,LaH10,and C-S-H compounds under high pressures has gradually made that dream become a reality.But the extreme high pressure required for stabilization of hydrogen-based superconductors limit their applications.So,the next challenge is to achieve room-temperature superconductivity at significantly low pressures,even ambient pressure.In this work,we design a series of high temperature superconductors that can be stable at moderate pressures by incorporating heavy rare earth elements Yb/Lu into sodalite-like clathrate hexahydrides.In particular,the critical temperatures(T_(c))of Y_(3)LuH_(24),YLuH_(12),and YLu_(3)H_(24)can reach 283 K at 120 GPa,275 K at 140 GPa,and 288 K at 110 GPa,respectively.Their critical temperatures are close to or have reached room temperature,and minimum stable pressures are significantly lower than that of reported room temperature superconductors.Our work provides an effective method for the rational design of low-pressure stabilized hydrogen-based superconductors with room-temperature superconductivity simultaneously and will stimulate further experimental exploration. | Mingyang Du Hao Song Zihan Zhang Defang Duan Tian Cui | 2022 | Research2022,,4: | 1 |

| 7 | Rational design of imine-linked three-dimensional mesoporous covalent organic frameworks with bor topology显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D)covalent organic frameworks(COFs)possess great potential applications in various fields.Constructing 3D COFs with large pore sizes is extremely challenging due to the interpenetration and collapse.Herein,we report a series of crystalline imine-linked 3D COFs(3D-bor-COF-1,3D-borCOF-2,3D-bor-COF-3)with mesoporous channels through rationally designing the topology configuration.These 3D-bor-COFs display permanent porosity and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET)surfaces of 3205.5,1752.7,and 2077.3 m2 g−1(SLangmuir=4277.7,2480.3,and 2698.0 m2 g−1),respectively.The pore sizes of 3Dbor-COFs were confirmed by the lattice fringes from high-resolution transmission electron microscopy,as well as structural simulation and nitrogen adsorption isotherm analysis.3D-bor-COFs display large pore sizes(3.8 nm for 3D-borCOF-3),which is among the highest record of 3D COFs.Owing to the unstackedaromatic pore environment and high specific surface area,3D-bor-COFs display excellent adsorption capacity for benzene vapor(1203.9 mg g−1 for 3D-bor-COF-3)under 298 K,which is three times higher than that of the best-reported 2D COF.This work not only provides inspiration for designing 3D mesoporous imineCOFs,but also demonstrates a strategy for constructing aromatics adsorption materials. | Zonglong Li Chouhung Hsueh Zhuozhuo Tang Jia Chen Xiaolin Wang Hao Cui Yang Yang Xiaodan Wang Dongsheng Ren Hongqiang Gao Mingyang Li Hong Xu Xiangming He | 2022 | SusMat2022,2,2: | 0 |
| 8 | Cosmogenic^(10)Be dating of the oldest moraine in the Hengduan Mountains显示文摘The Hengduan Mountains is in the transitional zone between the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP)and the YunnanGuizhou Plateau in China,and a key area for elucidating the Quaternary environmental changes in Asia.The paleo-Daocheng ice cap was located on the Shaluli Hilly Plateau in the northeastern Hengduan Mountains,the oldest moraines in the Hengduan Mountains region were found in the ice cap area.Such glacial landforms provide key evidence to study the timing when this area entered the cryosphere with the uplift of the QTP.However,it is difficult to collect suitable glacial boulders from these moraines for traditional terrestrial in-situ cosmogenic nuclide(TCN)exposure dating because of long-term severe moraine degradation.Here,we collected clast samples from the moraine surface and depth profile to constrain the age of the oldest moraine in Kuzhaori(moraine E)using TCN^(10)Be dating technique.The minimum^(10)Be ages of five clast samples from the moraine surface range from 187.4±1.5 to 576.8±4.3 ka,implying that the moraine has been seriously degraded since deposition.Based on the TCN^(10)Be concentrations of the samples from a depth profile and simulations,the exposure-erosion-inheritance history of the profile was obtained.By fitting to the profile^(10)Be concentrations using the chi-square test,the simulations yielded a reliable age of 626.0±52.5 ka for the moraine.Therefore,the oldest moraine(moraine E)in Kuzhaori was most likely formed at about 0.63Ma ago,corresponding to the marine isotope stage(MIS)16.This glaciation represents the maximum Quaternary glaciation after the QTP was elevated into the cryosphere by the Kunlun-Yellow River Tectonic Movement. | Zhigang ZHANG Jiahong ZHENG Haitao CUI Zhijun ZHAO Xinggong KONG Chaogang ZHENG Hong ZHANG Fei GUO Zhiyang CHANG Xue YUAN Mingyang YAN Jie ZHANG Jian WANG | 2023 | Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,10: | 0 |
