1Contrasting trends of PM2.5 and surface-ozone concentrations in China from 2013 to 2017显示文摘Although much attention has been paid to investigating and controlling air pollution in China,the trends of air-pollutant concentrations on a national scale have remained unclear.Here,we quantitatively investigated the variation of air pollutants in China using long-term comprehensive data sets from 2013 to 2017,during which Chinese government made major efforts to reduce anthropogenic emission in polluted regions.Our results show a significant decreasing trend in the PM2.5 concentration in heavily polluted regions of eastern China,with an annual decrease of〜7%compared with measurements in 2013.The measured decreased concentrations of SO2>NO2 and CO(a proxy for anthropogenic volatile organic compounds)could explain a large fraction of the decreased PM2.5 concentrations in different regions.As a consequence;the heavily polluted days decreased significantly in corresponding regions.Concentrations of organic aerosol;nitrate;sulfate,ammonium and chloride measured in urban Beijing revealed a remarkable reduction from 2013 to 2017;connecting the decreases in aerosol precursors with corresponding chemical components closely.However;surface-ozone concentrations showed increasing trends in most urban stations from 2013 to 2017;which indicates stronger photochemical pollution.The boundary-layer height in capital c让ies of eastern China showed no significant trends over the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions from 2013 to 2017;which confirmed the reduction in anthropogenic emissions.Our results demonstrated that the Chinese government was successful in the reduction of particulate matter in urban areas from 2013 to 2017,although the ozone concentration has increased significantly;suggesting a more complex mechanism of improving Chinese air quality in the future.Yonghong Wang Wenkang Gao Shuai Wang Tao Song Zhengyu Gong Dongsheng Ji Lili Wang Zirui Liu Guiqian Tang Yanfeng Huo Shili Tian Jiayun Li Mingge Li Yuan Yang Biwu Chu Tuukka Petaja Veli-Matti Kerminen Hong He Jiming Hao Markku Kulmala Yuesi Wang Yuanhang Zhang 2020National Science Review2020,7,8:51
2Meteorological mechanism for a large-scale persistent severe ozone pollution event over eastern China in 2017显示文摘An intensive and persistent regional ozone pollution event occurred over eastern China from 25 June to 5 July 2017.73 out of 96 selected cities,most located in the Beijing-TianjinHebei and the surrounding area(BTHS),suffered severe ozone pollution.A north-south contrast ozone distribution,with higher ozone(199±33μg/m3)in the BTHS and lower ozone(118±25μg/m^3)in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD),was found to be dominated by the position of the West Pacific Subtropical High(WPSH)and mid-high latitude wave activities.In the BTHS,the positive anomalies of geopotential height at 500 hPa and temperature at the surface indicated favorable meteorological conditions for local ozone formation.Prevailing northwesterly winds in the mid-high troposphere and warm advection induced by weak southerly winds in the low troposphere resulted in low-moderate relative humidity(RH),less total cloud cover(TGC),strong solar radiation and high temperatures.Moreover,southerly winds prevailing over the BTHS aggravated the pollution due to regional transportation of O3 and its precursors.On one hand,the deep sinking motion and inversion layer suppressed the dispersion of pollutants.On the other hand,O3-rich air in the upper layer was maintained at night due to temperature inversion,which facilitated O3 vertical transport to the surface in the next-day morning due to elevated convection.Generally,temperature,UV radiation,and RH showed good correlations with O3 in the BTHS,with rates of 8.51(μg/m^3)/℃(within the temperature range of 20-38℃),59.54(μg/m^3)/(MJ/m^2)and-1.93(μg/m^3)/%,respectively.Jia Mao Lili Wang Chuhan Lu Jingda Liu Mingge Li Guiqian Tang Dongsheng Ji Nan Zhang Yuesi Wang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,6:18
3Environmental impact and health risk assessment of volatile organic compound emissions during different seasons in Beijing显示文摘Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are major contributors to air pollution.Based on the emission characteristics of 99 VOCs that daily measured at 10 am in winter from 15 December 2015 to 17 January 2016 and in summer from 21 July to 25 August 2016 in Beijing,the environmental impact and health risk of VOC were assessed.In the winter polluted days,the secondary organic aerosol formation potential(SOAP)of VOC(199.70±15.05 mg/m^3)was significantly higher than that on other days.And aromatics were the primary contributor(98.03%)to the SOAP during the observation period.Additionally,the result of the ozone formation potential(OFP)showed that ethylene contributed the most to OFP in winter(26.00%and 27.64%on the normal and polluted days).In summer,however,acetaldehyde was the primary contributor to OFP(22.00%and 21.61%on the normal and polluted days).Simultaneously,study showed that hazard ratios and lifetime cancer risk values of acrolein,chloroform,benzene,1,2-dichloroethane,acetaldehyde and 1,3-butadiene exceeded the thresholds established by USEPA,thereby presenting a health risk to the residents.Besides,the ratio of toluene-to-benzene indicated that vehicle exhausts were the main source of VOC pollution in Beijing.The ratio of m-/p-xylene-toethylbenzene demonstrated that there were more prominent atmospheric photochemical reactions in summer than that in winter.Finally,according to the potential source contribution function(PSCF)results,compared with local pollution sources,the spread of pollution from long-distance VOCs had a greater impact on Beijing.Chuanqi Li Qianqian Li Dongge Tong Qingliang Wang Mingge Wu Bohua Sun Guijin Su Li Tan 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,7:10
4Research of Step-down Stress Accelerated Degradation Data Assessment Method of a Certain Type of Missile Tank显示文摘The performance degradation rates of the missile tank are generally time-varying functions uneasily evaluated by general classical evaluation methods. This paper develops a segmented nonlinear accelerated degradation model (SNADM) based on the equivalent method of accumulative damage theory, which tackles the problem that product life is difficult to be determined with degradation rate being a function of the variable of time. A segmented expression of the function of population accumulative degradation is derived. And combined with nonlinear function, an accelerated degradation function, i.e., SNADM is obtained. The parameters of the SNADM are identified by numerical iteration, and the statistical function of degradation track is extrapolated. The reliability function is determined through the type of random process of the degradation distribution. Then an evaluation of product storage life is undertaken by combining the statistical function of degradation track, reliability function and threshold. An example of a missile tank undergoes a step-down stress accelerated degradation test (SDSADT), in which the results with the SNADM and the classical method are evaluated and compared. 5An unusual high ozone event over the North and Northeast China during the record-breaking summer in 2018显示文摘Under the background of global warming,the summer temperature of the North and Northeast China(NNEC)has significantly increased since 2017,which was accompanied by the aggravated ozone(O_(3))pollution.In 2018,the NNEC experienced a record-breaking summer of the past 40 years.Influenced by the abnormal high temperatures,a regional ozone event occurred on 2-3 August,over 63%of 79 selected cities in the NNEC were exposed to O_(3)pollution,and the maximum value of MDA8 O_(3)reached 268μg/m 3.Observations indicated that ozone concentrations agree well with the maximum temperature at 2 meters(MT2M)over NNEC with a correlation coefficient of 0.69.During the pollution episode,strong downdraft in the local high(35°N-42.5°N,112.5°E-132.5°E;LH)over the NNEC created the favourable meteorological conditions for O_(3)formation.By analyzing the horizontal wind and wave activity fluxes(WAFs)at 200 h Pa,we found that the LH formation was resulted from the Rossby wave propagation from upstream along the mid-latitude Asian jet.The split polar vortex intrusion further strengthened the amplitude of the Rossby wave and reinforced the LH.Moreover,a secondary circulation between Typhoon Jongdari and the LH contributed to the enhanced LH with strong subsidence.On the other hand,the stratospheric intrusions under the deep subsidence also contributed to the enhanced surface O_(3).In this study,the deep-seated meteorological dynamical mechanisms contributing to the abnormal high temperatures were investigated,which can lead to a better understanding of the regional O_(3)pollution over NNEC under the global-warming background.Chuhan Lu Jia Mao Lili Wang Zhaoyong Guan Guangna Zhao Mingge Li 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,6:7
6An Analysis of the Stretching Mechanism of a Liquid Bridge in Typical Problems of Dip-Pen Nanolithography By Using Computational Fluid Dynamics显示文摘A computational study of the stretching mechanism of a liquid bridge and the effect of the liquid properties on the DPN(dip-pen nanolithography)process is presented.The results show that the viscosity and contact angle can have an appreciable influence on these processes.The greater the viscosity,the harder the liquid bridge is to break,which allows more molecular transfer during the DPN spotting process.Besides,when the contact angle between the liquid and substrate is less than 60 degrees,the time required to stretch the bridge and break it grows with the contact angle.During the stretching process,the pressure in the midsection(along the vertical direction)of the liquid bridge is relatively unstable,with frequent changes in its value.Furthermore,this pressure increases sharply when the liquid bridge breaks.Cheng Zhang Mingge Wu 2019Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2019,15,4:5

8Preparation of PE/MMT nanocomposite by monomer intercalation and in situ copolymerization显示文摘The catalyst {[(2-ArN=C(Me))2C5H3N]FeCl3} (Ar = 2-C6H4(i-Pr)) with methylaluminoxane (MAO) as co-catalyst was intercalated between layers of montmorillonite (MMT) for ethylene oligomerization. Metallocene catalyst Me2Si(Ind)2ZrCl2 and MAO was then added to form a dual functional catalytic system. A PE/MMT nanocomposite was prepared by copolymerization of ethylene with α-olefins produced in situ from ethylene over the dual functional catalytic system. The catalytic system was of high polymeric activity. 10Edge detection of magnetic tile cracks,based on wavelet显示文摘In order to extract the defect edge information on the magnetic tile surface with low contrast and textured background,an edge detection algorithm based on image weighted information entropy and wavelet modulus maxima is proposed.At first,a new Butterworth high pass filter(BHPF) with adaptive cutoff frequency is produced,because the clarity and complexity of the textured background are described by the weighted information entropy of the image gradient variance quantitatively,and the filter can change its parameters through matching the non-linear relationship between the information entropy and the cutoff frequency.And then,the best decomposition scale is obtained by the level determination function to prevent edge information from missing.At last,edge points are got by double threshold after obtaining the wavelet modulus maxima,and then the edge image is linked by the edge points to ensure the edge continuity and veracity.Experiment results indicate that the proposed algorithm outperforms the conventional Canny and Sobel algorithm,and the edge detection algorithm can also detect other defects,and lays the foundation for defecting auto- recognition.林丽君 He Mingge Yin Ying Yin Xiangyun Yin Guofu 2015High Technology Letters2015,21,3:2
