| 1 | MRI can reveal metabolic changes in lily bulbs in vivo during dormancy release显示文摘The factors influencing dormancy release in lily bulbs strongly affect commercialization success, but the mechanism of dormancy release is still unclear. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can detect changes in morphology and water status in a living plant bulb and aid in investigating release factors. To evaluate whether MRI could be used to detect intra-bulb metabolic changes during the dormant period in Oriental Lilies (Lilium 'Sorbonne'), a series of MRI and sugar concentration measurements were performed weekly on bulbs stored for 11 weeks at 4°C. The image quality of intra-bulb structure obtained using T 1-weighted imaging was superior to that obtained using T 2 -weighted imaging and had a higher signal-to-noise ratio (0.97±0.01). Magnetization transfer ratio values for the bud and basal plate declined during the first eight weeks of cold storage (P>0.05), and were well correlated with concentration of soluble sugar in the bud (R 2 =0.95) and basal plate (R 2 =0.93). Thus, MRI can serve as a valuable tool for observation and analysis of dynamic morphological and metabolic changes in vivo during dormancy release. | 2 | Gaussian process regression-based quaternion unscented Kalman robust filter for integrated SINS/GNSS显示文摘High-precision filtering estimation is one of the key techniques for strapdown inertial navigation system/global navigation satellite system(SINS/GNSS)integrated navigation system,and its estimation plays an important role in the performance evaluation of the navigation system.Traditional filter estimation methods usually assume that the measurement noise conforms to the Gaussian distribution,without considering the influence of the pollution introduced by the GNSS signal,which is susceptible to external interference.To address this problem,a high-precision filter estimation method using Gaussian process regression(GPR)is proposed to enhance the prediction and estimation capability of the unscented quaternion estimator(USQUE)to improve the navigation accuracy.Based on the advantage of the GPR machine learning function,the estimation performance of the sliding window for model training is measured.This method estimates the output of the observation information source through the measurement window and realizes the robust measurement update of the filter.The combination of GPR and the USQUE algorithm establishes a robust mechanism framework,which enhances the robustness and stability of traditional methods.The results of the trajectory simulation experiment and SINS/GNSS car-mounted tests indicate that the strategy has strong robustness and high estimation accuracy,which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method. | LYU Xu HU Baiqing DAI Yongbin SUN Mingfang LIU Yi GAO Duanyang | 2022 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2022,33,5: | 2 |
| 3 | Morphology analysis of tracks in the aerogels impacted by hypervelocity irregular particles显示文摘As an attractive collector medium for hypervelocity particles,combined with outstanding physical properties and suitable compositional characteristics,SiO2 aerogel has been deployed on outer space missions and laser shock-loaded collection experiments.In this paper,impact experiments were conducted to understand the penetration process of irregular grains,irregular Al_(2)O_(3) grains with two different sizes and speeds(~110μm@7 km/s,~251μm@2.3 km/s)at various density silica aerogels.By classifying the shapes of projectile residues and tracks,the morphology of tracks was analyzed.It was observed that there were several kinds of typical tracks in the penetration of irregular grains,accompanied by residues with the shapes of near-sphere,polyhedron,streamlined body wedge,and rotator.The rotational behavior was demonstrated by the final status of one flake projectile as direct evidence.In addition,there was no obvious relationship between the track length and experimental parameters,which may be caused by the uncertain interaction between aerogels and irregular particles.In addition,it confirmed the existence of fragmentation,melting situation by observing the shape of the impact entrance hole.At the same time,optical coherence tomography was used to observe the detail of tracks clearly,which provided a method to characterize the tracks nondestructively. | Ai Du Yi Ma Mingfang Liu Zhihua Zhang Guangwei Cao Hongwei Li Ling Wang Peijian Si Jun Shen Bin Zhou | 2021 | High Power Laser Science and Engineering2021,9,2: | 1 |

| 9 | Antagonism between abscisic acid and gibberellin regulates starch synthesis and corm development in Gladiolus hybridus显示文摘Understanding corm development in flower bulbs is of importance for securing the quality of cut flowers and propagation of commercial stocks.Gladiolus is one of the most popular bulb plants worldwide.Its corm development is characterized by starch accumulation.Previous research has shown that phytohormones(especially gibberellin(GA))are involved in tuber development.However,the relationship between abscisic acid(ABA)/GA and starch during corm development remains unclear.To gain deeper insights into the biological process of corm development,we performed a detailed anatomical characterization of different stages of corm development and analyzed phytohormone levels.Our study showed that corm development is linked to hormones(ABA and GA)and carbohydrates(sucrose and starch).Exogenous hormone treatment and silencing of endogenous hormone biosynthesis genes indicated that ABA positively regulates corm development,while GA acts as an antagonist of ABA function.A sucrose synthase gene(GhSUS2)was shown to be involved in the antagonism between ABA and GA.GhSUS2 was upregulated by ABA and downregulated by GA.The increase in the transcript level of GhSUS2 coincided with the development of corm/cormels.Silencing of GhSUS2 repressed corm development and starch accumulation.In conclusion,we propose that GhSUS2,an essential enzyme in sucrose degradation,is differentially regulated by ABA and GA and controls corm development in Gladiolus. | Jingru Li Shanshan Seng Donglei Li Fengqin Zhang Yixuan Liu Ting Yao Jiahui Liang Mingfang Yi Jian Wu | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 0 |

| 11 | Epicardial adipose tissue around the superior vena cava: A single center study of factors related to atrial fibrillation显示文摘The superior vena cava(SVC)is the main component of non-pulmonary vein(PV)ectopy in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF).Researchers have found that epicardial adipose tissue(EAT)volume is related to the AF substrate,which can be defined by the low voltage area(LVA).This study aimed to investigate the relationship between SVC-EAT and SVC-AF.Twenty-six patients with SVC-AF triggers were identified as the SVC-AF group.Other three groups were defined and included as the LVA-AF group(LVA>5%),non-LVA-AF group(LVA<5%),and physical examination(PE)group.EAT around left atrium(LA-EAT)and SVC-EAT volumes were obtained using a cardiac risk assessment module.According to the SVC/LA-EAT ratio,there are significant differences between the SVC-AF group and the three control groups(the SVC-AF group 0.092±0.041 vs.the LVA-AF group 0.054±0.026,the non-LVA-AF group 0.052±0.022,and the PE group 0.052±0.019,all P<0.001).Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis suggests the optimal cut-off point of SVC/LA-EAT ratio is 6.8%for detecting SVC-AF patients,with 81.1%sensitivity,73.1%specificity,and an area under the curve of 0.83(95%confidence interval,0.75-0.91).Those with SVC-AF have a higher SVC/LA-EAT ratio and empirical SVC isolation could be considered if the SVC/LA-EAT ratio was over 6.8%. | Xingxing Sun Jun Wang Qing Yan Weizhu Ju Fengxiang Zhang Gang Yang Kai Gu Hailei Liu Zidun wang Xiaohong Jiang Mingfang Li Di Xu Yi Xu Hongwu Chen Minglong Chen | 2022 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2022,36,6: | 0 |
