| 2 | Desulfurization metabolite of Rhodococcus erythropolis LSSE8-1 and its related desulfurizational gene fragments显示文摘Rhodococcus erythropolis LSSE8-1 is a newly isolated biodesulfurizaion strain from the soil of Chishui gas field, Guizhou Province, China. The analysis of its metabo-lism product shows that the strain is a kind of biocatalyst able to oxidize dibenzothiophene (DBT) to 2-hydroxydi- phenyl (HBP), and therefore the sulfur in DBT is selectively removed. By using DBTO2 (dibenzothiophene 5,5-dioxide) as substrate, both DBT and HBP are found in the culture, which shows that the reaction from DBT to DBTO2 is re-versible in the cell. While using 0.5 mmol/L DBT as control, 0.01—0.4 mmol/L DBTO2 shows poisonous effect to the cell, which will explain why there is no DBTO2 accumulation in the process of biodesulfurization. After treatment by lysozme, the plasmid DNA of the strain is isolated by alkaline method to be used as the template of PCR reaction. Three dsz gene fragments of 1.3, 1.0 and 1.2 kb respectively were amplified. Each fragment is ligate with PGEM-T vector, and cloned into E. coli. DH5. The clone DNA is sequenced and the result shows that dsz related genes are highly conservative. | 3 | Performance of microbiological control by a point-of-use filter system for drinking water purification显示文摘Purification capacity of a faucet mounted type water filter for home use was evaluated,particularly with regard to microbiological performance under different running conditions.Biofilms were formed inside the filter,affecting the bacterial quality of the effuent water.Low flow rate,long stagnation period and high filter temperature were found favorable for bacterial growth inside.By commercial analytical profile index(API) kits,ten different bacterial species were identified in drinking water,four of which were probably contributed to the biofilm formation since they were also present in the biofilm.Fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH) was used to confirm the API identification results,and direct viable count(DVC) method was employed to improve the sensitivity of FISH for the isolated Acinetobacter spp.and Pseudomonas putida as models.Relationship between the filter operating condition and the bacterial community alteration was partly revealed,which could provide the basic knowledge for the filter design and its practical use. | SU Fengyi LUO Mingfang ZHANG Fei LI Peng LOU Kai XING Xinhui | 2009 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2009，21，9： | 4 |
| 4 | Effect of burden and origin sites of premature ventricular contractions on left ventricular function by 7-day Holter monitor显示文摘Recent studies have shown that premature ventricular contractions(PVCs) could enlarge the heart,but its risk factors are incompletely understood as a single 24-hour recording cannot reflect the true PVC burden due to day-to-day variability.Our purpose was to investigate the effect of burden and origin sites on left ventricular(LV) function in patients with PVCs by 7-day Holter electrocardiography(ECG).From May 2012 to August2013,112 consecutive patients with PVCs were recruited from the authors' affiliated hospital.All patients received2-dimensional transthoracic echocardiography,12-lead routing ECG and 7-days Holter ECG.Serum N-terminal probrain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP) levels were measured.A total of 102 participants with PVCs were included in the final analysis.Origin of PVCs from the tricuspid annulus had the highest burden and NT-proBNP level.LV papillary muscle had a higher LV ejection fraction(EF) level and a lower LV end-systolic dimension(ESD) than other PVC foci(P<0.05).The high burden group had a higher LV end-diastolic dimension(EDD) and LVESD but lower LVEF than the other two groups(P<0.05).Female,older age,physical work,and history of PVCs had a significantly positive correlation with symptoms.Male,older age,physical work,and high burden were positive predictors of enlarged LVEDD,LVESD and higher serum NT-proBNP level,but lower LVEF.Seven-day dynamic ECG Holter monitor showed the true PVC burden on patients with PVCs.PVCs with a lower burden or origin from the LV papillary muscle and the fascicle were relatively benign,while PVCs with a higher burden or origin from the tricuspid annulus may lead to cardiac dysfunction. | Wenhua Xu Mingfang Li Minglong Chen Bing Yang Daowu Wang Xiangqing Kong Hongwu Chen Weizhu Ju Kai Gu Kejiang Cao Hailei Liu Qi Jiang Jiaojiao Shi Yan Cui Hong Wang | 2015 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2015，29，6： | 4 |
| 5 | Study of the Toxicity of 1-Bromo-3-Chloro-5,5-Dimethylhydantoin to Zebrafish显示文摘Objective 1-Bromo-3-chloro-5,5-dimethylhydantoin (BCDMH) is a solid oxidizing biocide for water disinfection.The objective of this study was to investigate the toxic effect of BCDMH on zebrafish.Methods The developmental toxicity of BCDMH on zebrafish embryos and the dose-effect relationship was determined.The effect of BCDMH exposure on histopathology and tissue antioxidant activity of adult zebrafish were observed over time.Results Exposure to 4 mg/L BCDMH post-fertilization was sufficient to induce a number of developmental malformations,such as edema,axial malformations,and reductions in heart rate and hatching rate.The no observable effects concentration of BCDMH on zebrafish embryo was 0.5 mg/L.After 96 h exposure,the 50% lethal concentration (95% confidence interval (CI)) of BCDMH on zebrafish embryo was 8.10 mg/L (6.15-11.16 mg/L).The 50% inhibitory concentration (95% CI) of BCDMH on hatching rate was 7.37 mg/L (6.33-8.35 mg/L).Histopathology showed two types of responses induced by BCDMH,defensive and compensatory.The extreme responses were marked hyperplasia of the gill epithelium with lamellar fusion and epidermal peeling.The histopathologic changes in the gills after 10 days exposure were accompanied by significantly higher catalase activity and lipid peroxidation.Conclusion These results have important implications for studies on the toxicity and use of BCDMH and its analogs. | LI WanFang WEI JinFeng JIN HongTao HUANG MingFang ZHANG JingXuan LI ChengHe CHEN ChaoJie LIU Chang WANG AiPing | 2011 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011，24，4： | 2 |

| 17 | Morphology analysis of tracks in the aerogels impacted by hypervelocity irregular particles显示文摘As an attractive collector medium for hypervelocity particles,combined with outstanding physical properties and suitable compositional characteristics,SiO2 aerogel has been deployed on outer space missions and laser shock-loaded collection experiments.In this paper,impact experiments were conducted to understand the penetration process of irregular grains,irregular Al_(2)O_(3) grains with two different sizes and speeds(~110μm@7 km/s,~251μm@2.3 km/s)at various density silica aerogels.By classifying the shapes of projectile residues and tracks,the morphology of tracks was analyzed.It was observed that there were several kinds of typical tracks in the penetration of irregular grains,accompanied by residues with the shapes of near-sphere,polyhedron,streamlined body wedge,and rotator.The rotational behavior was demonstrated by the final status of one flake projectile as direct evidence.In addition,there was no obvious relationship between the track length and experimental parameters,which may be caused by the uncertain interaction between aerogels and irregular particles.In addition,it confirmed the existence of fragmentation,melting situation by observing the shape of the impact entrance hole.At the same time,optical coherence tomography was used to observe the detail of tracks clearly,which provided a method to characterize the tracks nondestructively. | Ai Du Yi Ma Mingfang Liu Zhihua Zhang Guangwei Cao Hongwei Li Ling Wang Peijian Si Jun Shen Bin Zhou | 2021 | High Power Laser Science and Engineering2021，9，2： | 1 |
