1INVESTIGATION OF RATTLING THRESHOLD IN GEAR SYSTEM显示文摘A lumped mass gear-rattling model with backlash is established by considering the time varying mesh stiffness, composite transmission error and the torque fluctuation. Based on the principle that no separation will occur if the response amplitude is not larger than the static response,the threshold is obtained by theoretical derivation. The validity of the theoretical derivation is verified by the numerical method. The results show that the time-varying mesh stiffness has little effect on the threshold. When the exciting frequency is less than the system natural frequency, the theoretical agrees well with the numerical one. The higher the exciting frequency or the smaller the average input torque is, the easier the separation will occur. When the exciting frequency is larger than the natural frequency by a certain value, the theoretical threshold does not agree with the numerical results. The numerical results show that the motion state will change from the meshing state to the separating state directly. 2A Day-ahead Economic Dispatch Method Considering Extreme Scenarios Based on Wind Power Uncertainty显示文摘As the intermittency of wind power is a growing concern in the day-ahead economic dispatch,this paper proposes a day-ahead economic dispatch method considering extreme scenarios of wind power by using an uncertainty set.The uncertainty set inspired by robust optimization is used to describe wind power intermittency in this paper.Four extreme scenarios based on the uncertainty set are formulated to represent the worst cases of wind power fluctuation.An economic dispatch method considering the costs of both load shedding and wind curtailment is proposed.The economic dispatch model can be easily solved by a quadratic programming method owing to the introduction of four extreme scenarios and the uncertainty set of wind power.Simulation is done using the IEEE 30-bus system and the results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.Jian Xu Bao Wang Yuanzhang Sun Qi Xu Ji Liu Huiqiu Cao Haiyan Jiang Ruobing Lei Mengjun Shen 2019CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2019,5,2:5
3Global behavior of gear system using mixed cell mapping显示文摘In some mechanical nonlinear systems, the transient motion will be undergoing a very long process and the attractor-basin boundaries are so complicated that some difficulties occur in analyzing the system global behavior. To solve this problem a mixed cell mapping method based on the point mapping and the principle of simple cell mapping is developed. The algorithm of the mixed cell mapping is studied. A dynamic model of a gear pair is established with the backlash, damping, transmission error and the time-varying stiffness taken into consideration. The global behaviors of this system are analyzed. 4Discovery of an orally effective double-stapled peptide for reducing ovariectomy-induced bone loss in mice显示文摘Stapled peptides with significantly enhanced pharmacological profiles have emerged as promising therapeutic molecules due to their remarkable resistance to proteolysis and performance to penetrate cells.The all-hydrocarbon peptide stapling technique has already widely adopted with great success,yielding numerous potent peptide-based molecules.Based on our prior efforts,we conceived and prepared a double-stapled peptide in this study,termed FRNC-1,which effectively attenuated the bone resorption capacity of mature osteoclasts in vitro through specific inhibition of phosphorylated GSK-3β.The double-stapled peptide FRNC-1 displayed notably improved helical contents and resistance to proteolysis than its linear form.Additionally,FRNC-1 effectively prevented osteoclast activation and improved bone density for ovariectomized(OVX)mice after intravenous injection and importantly,after oral(intragastric)administration.The double-stapled peptide FRNC-1 is the first orally effective peptide that has been validated to date as a therapeutic candidate for postmenopausal osteoporosis(PMOP).Wei Cong Huaxing Shen Xiufei Liao Mengjun Zheng Xianglong Kong Zhe Wang Si Chen Yulei Li Honggang Hu Xiang Li 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,9:0

7Fast Solution Method for the Large-scale Unit Commitment Problem with Long-term Storage显示文摘Long-term storage(LTS)can provide various services to address seasonal fluctuations in variable renewable energy by reducing energy curtailment.However,long-term unit commitment(UC)with LTS involves mixed-integer programming with large-scale coupling constraints between consecutive intervals(state-of-charge(SOC)constraint of LTS,ramping rate,and minimum up/down time constraints of thermal units),resulting in a significant computational burden.Herein,an iterative-based fast solution method is proposed to solve the long-term UC with LTS.First,the UC with coupling constraints is split into several sub problems that can be solved in parallel.Second,the solutions of the sub problems are adjusted to obtain a feasible solution that satisfies the coupling constraints.Third,a decoupling method for long-term time-series coupling constraints is proposed to determine the global optimization of the SOC of the LTS.The price-arbitrage model of the LTS determines the SOC boundary of the LTS for each sub problem.Finally,the sub problem with the SOC boundary of the LTS is iteratively solved independently.The proposed method was verified using a modified IEEE 24-bus system.The results showed that the computation time of the unit combination problem can be reduced by 97.8%,with a relative error of 3.62%.Bo Li Chunjie Qin Ruotao Yu Wei Dai Mengjun Shen Ziming Ma Jianxiao Wang 2023Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2023,9,3:0

9The spatial transcriptomic landscape of human gingiva in health and periodontitis显示文摘The gingiva is a key oral barrier that protects oral tissues from various stimuli.A loss of gingival tissue homeostasis causes periodontitis,one of the most prevalent inflammatory diseases in humans.The human gingiva exists as a complex cell network comprising specialized structures.To understand the tissue-specific pathophysiology of the gingiva,we applied a recently developed spatial enhanced resolution omics-sequencing(Stereo-seq)technique to obtain a spatial transcriptome(ST)atlas of the gingiva in healthy individuals and periodontitis patients.By utilizing Stereo-seq,we identified the major cell types present in the gingiva,which included epithelial cells,fibroblasts,endothelial cells,and immune cells,as well as subgroups of epithelial cells and immune cells.We further observed that inflammation-related signalling pathways,such as the JAK-STAT and NF-κB signalling pathways,were significantly upregulated in the endothelial cells of the gingiva of periodontitis patients compared with those of healthy individuals.Additionally,we characterized the spatial distribution of periodontitis risk genes in the gingiva and found that the expression of IFI16 was significantly increased in endothelial cells of inflamed gingiva.In conclusion,our Stereo-seq findings may facilitate the development of innovative therapeutic strategies for periodontitis by mapping periodontitis-relevant genes and pathways and effector cells.Zongshan Shen Ran Zhang Yunjia Huang Jiayao Chen Mengjun Yu Chunhua Li Yong Zhang Lingling Chen Xin Huang Jichen Yang Zhengmei Lin Songlin Wang Bin Cheng 2024Science China(Life Sciences)2024,67,4:0
