2Autologous CD34^+ and CD133^+ stem cells transplantation in patients with end stage liver disease显示文摘AIM:To assess the utility of an autologous CD34 + and CD133 + stem cells infusion as a possible therapeutic modality in patients with end-stage liver diseases.METHODS:One hundred and forty patients with endstage liver diseases were randomized into two groups.Group 1,comprising 90 patients,received granulocyte colony stimulating factor for five days followed by autologous CD34 + and CD133 + stem cell infusion in the portal vein.Group 2,comprising 50 patients,received regular liver treatment only and served as a control group.RESULTS:Near normalization of liver enzymes and improvement in synthetic function were observed in 54.5% of the group 1 patients;13.6% of the patients showed stable states in the infused group.None of the patients in the control group showed improvement.No adverse effects were noted.CONCLUSION:Our data showed that a CD34 + and CD133 + stem cells infusion can be used as supportive treatment for end-stage liver disease with satisfactory tolerability.Hosny Salama Abdel-Rahman N Zekri Abeer A Bahnassy Eman Medhat Hanan A Halim Ola S Ahmed Ghada Mohamed Sheren A Al Alim Ghada M Sherif 2010World Journal of Gastroenterology2010,16,42:16
3不同燃料的喷嘴内流动与喷雾形态可视化试验显示文摘采用高速可控闪光摄影技术搭建了喷油器喷孔内流动及近场喷雾可视化试验装置,针对柴油、汽油、乙醇柴油、生物柴油4种燃料,对实际尺寸的透明喷油器喷孔内的流动及近场喷雾进行了对比试验研究。试验研究结果表明:所有试验燃料喷孔内均呈现空穴流动,低运动粘度、高饱和蒸气压的燃料空穴生成时刻更早、空穴强度更强;喷孔空穴强度较大的燃料具有更大的近场喷雾锥角;喷射结束后喷孔内会产生气体倒流现象并形成初始气泡,初始气泡体积随燃料表面张力的减小而增大。同时发现,针阀运动会对压力室和喷孔内的流动产生极大的扰动并影响其流动形态。姜光军 张煜盛 Medhat Elkelawy 肖干 2014农业机械学报2014,45,5:13
4Maize response to elevated plant density combined with lowered N-fertilizer rate is genotype-dependent显示文摘Increasing plant density and improving N fertilizer rate along with the use of high density-tolerant genotypes would lead to maximizing maize(Zea mays L.) grain productivity per unit land area. The objective of this investigation was to match the functions of optimum plant density and adequate nitrogen fertilizer application to produce the highest possible yields per unit area with the greatest maize genotype efficiency. Six maize inbred lines differing in tolerance to low N and high density(D) [three tolerant(T); L-17, L-18, L-53,and three sensitive(S); L-29, L-54, L-55] were chosen for diallel crosses. Parents and crosses were evaluated in the 2012 and 2013 seasons under three plant densities: low(47,600),medium(71,400), and high(95,200) plants ha-1and three N fertilization rates: low(no N addition), medium(285 kg N ha-1) and high(570 kg N ha-1). The T × T crosses were superior to the S × S and T × S crosses under the low N–high D environment in most studied traits across seasons. The relationships between the nine environments and grain yield per hectare(GYPH) showed near-linear regression functions for inbreds L54, L29, and L55 and hybrids L18 × L53 and L18 × L55 with the highest GYPH at a density of47,600 plants ha-1and N rate of 570 kg N ha-1and a curvilinear relationship for inbreds L17, L18, and L53 and the rest of the hybrids with the highest GYPH at a density of95,200 plants ha-1combined with an N rate of 570 kg N ha-1. 6DME闪急沸腾喷雾特性的试验与数值模拟研究显示文摘在压力定容室内,利用数字粒子图像速度场仪(DPIV)对二甲醚(DME)闪急沸腾喷雾特性,以及DME和柴油的常规喷雾特性开展了试验研究;建立了适用于DME闪急沸腾喷雾的宏观现象学模型,并将该模型与KIVA程序相耦合,藉此对DME闪急沸腾喷雾特性进行了数值模拟。研究结果表明:与柴油常规喷雾相比,DME闪急沸腾喷雾贯穿距较短,但喷雾锥角较大;喷雾初始段的计算值与试验测量值吻合较好,但喷雾后期的吻合程度稍差。计算研究表明:DME闪急沸腾喷雾体前端两侧存在着明显的涡环结构,喷雾场中DME的气相浓度大幅度高于柴油喷雾的气相浓度,且其索特平均直径(SMD)比柴油小得多。余敬周 张煜盛 Medhat Elkelawy 张辉亚 2009内燃机工程2009,30,3:5

8Hydrodynamic Characteristics of Three Rows of Vertical Slotted Wall Breakwaters显示文摘In this study, we examine the hydrodynamic characteristics of three rows of vertical slotted wall breakwaters in which the front and middle walls are permeable and partially immersed in a water channel of constant depth, whereas the third wall is impermeable. The wave–structure interaction and flow behavior of this type of breakwater arrangement are complicated and must be analyzed before breakwaters can be appropriately designed. To study the hydrodynamic breakwater performance, we developed a mathematical model based on the eigenfunction expansion method and a least squares technique for predicting wave interaction with three rows of vertical slotted wall breakwaters. We theoretically examined the wave transmission, reflection, energy loss, wave runup, and wave force under normal regular waves. Comparisons with experimental measurements show that the mathematical model results adequately reproduce most of the important features. 9柴油乳化液喷雾闪急沸腾与微爆现象的激光阴影试验研究(英文)显示文摘在常压定容室内,应用ND:YAG激光阴影法、高分辨率CCD照相机和粒径分析软件,对不同含水量的柴油乳化液雾油滴的闪急沸腾与微爆现象以及油滴粒径分布进行了试验测量与变参数对比分析,探讨了在130℃温度条件下,乳化油含水量对乳化油喷雾液滴闪急沸腾和微爆的影响,揭示了微爆效应在喷雾雾化和液滴碎化中的作用机理。试验结果表明,包覆于油中的水相颗粒受热闪急沸腾所形成的高压蒸气团冲破无水边界层是导致油滴发生微爆和进一步破碎分裂的首要原因;微爆现象随乳化油含水量的增高而趋强;喷雾索特平均直径(SMD)的细化率随乳化油含水量和喷雾贯穿距的增加而增大,且乳化油含水量对喷雾SMD细化率的影响程度也随喷雾贯穿距的增加更加显著。MEDHAT Elkelawy 张煜盛 Alm El-Din Hagar 余敬周 El Zahaby A M El Shenawy E A Khalil A 2009内燃机学报2009,27,4:3
10Aspartate transaminase to platelet ratio index in hepatitis C virus and Schistosomiasis coinfection显示文摘AIM: To assess the diagnostic accuracy,of aminotransferase-to-platelet ratio index(APRI) alone and with antischistosomal antibody(Ab) in patients with hepatitis C virus(HCV) and schistosomiasis coinfection. METHODS: This retrospective study included medical records of three hundred and eighty three Egyptianmen patients who had undergone percutaneous liver biopsy between January 2006 to April 2014 in tertiary care hospital in Qatar for diagnosis or monitoring purpose were selected. Data of patients > 18 years of age were included in the study. The values of HCV RNA titer and antischistosomal antibody titer were also taken into consideration. Patients were excluded from the study if they had any other concomitant chronic liver disease,including; history of previous antiviral or interferon therapy,immunosuppressive,therapy,chronic hepatitis B infection,human immunodeficiency virus co-infection,autoimmune hepatitis,decompensated liver disease,hepatocellular carcinoma,prior liver transplantation,and if no data about the liver biopsy present. RESULTS: Median age of patients was 46 years. About 7.1% had no fibrosis,whereas 30.4%,37.5%,20.4%,and 4.6% had fibrosis of stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,and Ⅳ respectively. In bivariate analysis,APRI score,levels of AST,platelet count and age of patient showed statistically significant association with liver fibrosis(P < 0.0001); whereas antischistosomal antibody titer(P = 0.52) and HCV RNA titer(P = 0.79) failed to show a significant association. The respective AUC values for no fibrosis,significant fibrosis,severe fibrosis and cirrhosis of APRI score were 63%,73.2%,81.1% and 88.9% respectively. This showed good sensitivity and specificity of APRI alone for grading of liver fibrosis. But the inclusion of anti-Schistosoma antibody did not improve the prediction of fibrosis stage. CONCLUSION: The study results suggest that noninvasive biochemical markers like APRI are sensitive and specific in diagnosing the degree of fibrosis and cirrhosis in patients with coinfection of HCV and schistosomiasis as compared to biopsy. 20Production of geopolymer composites enhanced by nano‐kaolin material显示文摘Nowadays kaolin raw material is usually used to produce nano-kaolin for geopolymer enhancement by using firing method.In the present study,kaolin used was taken from the Naqus Formation(Cambro-Ordovician age),west of Gabal El Gunna,Sinai,Egypt.Nano-kaolin material is an ultrafine material and was prepared from the taken kaolin by the firing process at 800 for 2℃h with a heating rate of 5/min.Six mixes were prepared and their laboratory specimens were made℃and cured up to 90 days.Water cooled slag was used as starting material,and sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate were used in the study as activators for the used kaolin.The formed geopolymer mixes with different ratios(1%,1.5%,3%,5%,and 7%)of nano-kaolin as a partial replacement for the raw kaolin were investigated.Gelenium Ace super plasticizer was added in the ratio of 4%from the dry weight to ensure good dispersing of the used nano clay.Results showed that increasing the percentage of nano-kaolin up to 3%results in an enhancement in the mechanical properties as compared with the control mix up to 90 days of curing,while higher ratios are not preferable where they lead to agglomeration of the added nano materials and matrix dilution.Mahmoud M.HASSAAN Hisham M.KHATER Medhat S.EL-MAHLLAWY Abdeen M.EL NAGAR 2015Journal of Advanced Ceramics2015,4,4:1
