1Predicting geological hazards during tunnel construction显示文摘The complicated geological conditions and geological hazards are challenging problems during tunnel construction,which will cause great losses of life and property.Therefore,reliable prediction of geological defective features,such as faults,karst caves and groundwater,has important practical significances and theoretical values.In this paper,we presented the criteria for detecting typical geological anomalies using the tunnel seismic prediction(TSP) method.The ground penetrating radar(GPR) signal response to water-bearing structures was used for theoretical derivations.And the 3D tomography of the transient electromagnetic method(TEM) was used to develop an equivalent conductance method.Based on the improvement of a single prediction technique,we developed a technical system for reliable prediction of geological defective features by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of all prediction methods.The procedure of the application of this system was introduced in detail.For prediction,the selection of prediction methods is an important and challenging work.The analytic hierarchy process(AHP) was developed for prediction optimization.We applied the newly developed prediction system to several important projects in China,including Hurongxi highway,Jinping II hydropower station,and Kiaochow Bay subsea tunnel.The case studies show that the geological defective features can be successfully detected with good precision and efficiency,and the prediction system is proved to be an effective means to minimize the risks of geological hazards during tunnel construction.Shucai Li Shuchen Li Qingsong Zhang Yiguo Xue Bin Liu Maoxin Su Zhechao Wang Shugang Wang 2010Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2010,2,3:25
2Detecting and monitoring of water inrush in tunnels and coal mines using direct current resistivity method:A review显示文摘Detecting, real-time monitoring and early warning of underground water-bearing structures are critically important issues in prevention and mitigation of water inrush hazards in underground engineering.Direct current(DC) resistivity method is a widely used method for routine detection, advanced detection and real-time monitoring of water-bearing structures, due to its high sensitivity to groundwater. In this study, the DC resistivity method applied to underground engineering is reviewed and discussed,including the observation mode, multiple inversions, and real-time monitoring. It is shown that a priori information constrained inversion is desirable to reduce the non-uniqueness of inversion, with which the accuracy of detection can be significantly improved. The focused resistivity method is prospective for advanced detection; with this method, the flanking interference can be reduced and the detection distance is increased subsequently. The time-lapse resistivity inversion method is suitable for the regions with continuous conductivity changes, and it can be used to monitor water inrush in those regions. Based on above-mentioned features of various methods in terms of benefits and limitations, we propose a three-dimensional(3D) induced polarization method characterized with multi-electrode array, and introduce it into tunnels and mines combining with real-time monitoring with time-lapse inversion and cross-hole resistivity method. 3Bifurcation control of a fractional-order delayed competition and cooperation model of two enterprises显示文摘The competition and cooperation among enterprises has become a hot topic and focus issue in today’s world. How to manage the enterprise well so as to achieve the maximum output is an important problem for enterprise managers. Optimizing output of two enterprises plays a key role in operating enterprises. Many scholars pay much attention to this aspect. However, the reports on the stability and Hopf bifurcation for fractional-order delayed competition and cooperation model of two enterprises are very few. This paper is concerned with the stability, the existence of Hopf bifurcation and the bifurcation control issue of fractionalorder delayed competition and cooperation model of two enterprises. Firstly, some new sufficient conditions that guarantee the stability and the existence of Hopf bifurcation for fractional-order delayed competition and cooperation model of two enterprises are obtained by regarding the delay as bifurcation parameter. Then a suitable time delayed feedback controller is designed to control the Hopf bifurcation for involved model. The study shows that the delay and the fractional order have an important effect on the stability and Hopf bifurcation of involved model. Some simulations justifying the validity of the derived analytical results are given. At last, we end this paper with a concise conclusion. 4Inhibition of hematite on acid mine drainage caused by chalcopyrite biodissolution显示文摘Even though biodissolution of chalcopyrite is considered to be one of the key contributors in the formation of acid mine drainage(AMD),there are few studies to control AMD by inhibiting chalcopyrite biodissolution.Therefore,a novel method of using hematite to inhibit chalcopyrite biodissolution was proposed and verified.The results indicated that chalcopyrite biodissolution could be significantly inhibited by hematite,which consequently decreased the formation of AMD.In the presence of hematite,the final biodissolution rate of chalcopyrite decreased from 57.9%to 44.4%at 20 day.This in turn suggested that the formation of AMD was effectively suppressed under such condition.According to the biodissolution results,mineral composition and morphology analyses,and electrochemical analysis,it was shown that hematite promoted the formation and accumulation of passivation substances(jarosite and Cu2-xS)on chalcopyrite surface,thus inhibiting the biodissolution of chalcopyrite and limiting the formation of AMD.Baojun Yang Wen Luo Maoxin Hong Jun Wang Xueduan Liu Min Gan Guanzhou Qiu 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,4:2

6Cocoon Silk-Derived, Hierarchically Porous Carbon as Anode for Highly Robust Potassium-Ion Hybrid Capacitors显示文摘Potassium-ion hybrid capacitors(KIHCs) have attracted increasing research interest because of the virtues of potassium-ion batteries and supercapacitors.The development of KIHCs is subject to the investigation of applicable K+storage materials which are able to accommodate the relatively large size and high activity of potassium.Here,we report a cocoon silk chemistry strategy to synthesize a hierarchically porous nitrogen-doped carbon(SHPNC).The as-prepared SHPNC with high surface area and rich N-doping not only offers highly efficient channels for the fast transport of electrons and K ions during cycling,but also provides sufficient void space to relieve volume expansion of electrode and improves its stability.Therefore,KIHCs with SHPNC anode and activated carbon cathode afford high energy of 135 Wh kg-1(calculated based on the total mass of anode and cathode),long lifespan,and ultrafast charge/slow discharge performance.This study defines that the KIHCs show great application prospect in the field of high-performance energy storage devices.Haiyan Luo Maoxin Chen Jinhui Cao Meng Zhang Shan Tan Lei Wang Jiang Zhong Hongli Deng Jian Zhu Bingan Lu 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,9:2
7Condensation of eigen microstate in statistical ensemble and phase transition显示文摘In a statistical ensemble with M microstates, we introduce an M × M correlation matrix with correlations among microstates as its elements. Eigen microstates of ensemble can be defined using eigenvectors of the correlation matrix. The eigenvalue normalized by M represents weight factor in the ensemble of the corresponding eigen microstate. In the limit M →∞, weight factors drop to zero in the ensemble without localization of the microstate. The finite limit of the weight factor when M →∞ indicates a condensation of the corresponding eigen microstate. This finding indicates a transition into a new phase characterized by the condensed eigen microstate. We propose a finite-size scaling relation of weight factors near critical point, which can be used to identify the phase transition and its universality class of general complex systems. 8A new evaluation method for site selection of large underground water-sealed petroleum storage depots显示文摘Scientific site selection is the first step in constructing underground water-sealed petroleum storage depots, but no uniform standard and code for such activity has been established. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to propose an evaluation method for the site selection of an underground water-sealed petroleum storage depot. The first large underground water-sealed petroleum storage depot being built in China served as the background of this study. The following 12 indexes were used as evaluation factors based on comprehensive evaluation criteria and specifications for key project site selection: geographic structure development feature, topographic feature, lithostratic formation feature, crustal stress, strength of rock mass, joint development feature, hydrogeological conditions, long-term water sealing conditions, environmental/ecological vulnerability, regional stability, technical and economic conditions, and meteorological and hydrological conditions. The weight back analysis and power coefficient methods were also used to evaluate the site selected for the first underground water-sealed petroleum storage depot project. Petroleum site classification models based on the two aforementioned methods were established and used to verify the feasibility of the evaluation criteria and methods, and the evaluation results show the grade of the site selected for the underground water-sealed petroleum storage depot in Huangdao, China is good. 9The promises, challenges and pathways to room-temperature sodium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Room-temperature sodium-sulfur batteries(RT-Na-S batteries) are attractive for large-scale energy storage applications owing to their high storage capacity as well as the rich abundance and low cost of the materials.Unfortunately, their practical application is hampered by severe challenges, such as low conductivity of sulfur and its reduced products, volume expansion, polysulfide shuttling effect and Na dendrite formation,which can lead to rapid capacity fading. The review discusses the Na-S-energy-storage chemistry,highlighting its promise, key challenges and potential strategies for large-scale energy storage systems.Specifically, we review the electrochemical principles and the current technical challenges of RT-Na-S batteries, and discuss the strategies to address these obstacles.
