1Application of multi-stage dynamic magnetizing roasting technology on the utilization of cryptocrystalline oolitic hematite:A review显示文摘A large number of studies have shown that oolitic hematite is an iron ore that is extremely difficult to utilize because of its fine disseminated particle size, high harmful impurity content and oolitic structure.To recover iron from oolitic hematite, we developed a novel multistage dynamic magnetizing roasting technology. Compared with traditional magnetizing roasting technologies, this novel technology has the following advantages: firstly, the oolitic hematite is dynamically reduced in a multi-stage roasting furnace, which shortens the reduction time and avoids ringing and over-reduction;secondly, the novel dynamic magnetizing roasting technology has strong raw material adaptability, and the size range of raw materials can be as wide as 0–15 mm;thirdly, the roasting furnace adopts a preheating-heating process, and the low-calorific value blast furnace gas can be used as the fuel and reductant, which greatly reduces the cost. The actual industrial production data showed that the energy consumption in the roasting process can be less than 35 kg of standard coal per ton of raw ore. 2A review of systematic evaluation and improvement in the big data environment显示文摘The era of big data brings unprecedented opportunities and challenges to management research.As one of the important functions of management decision-making,evaluation has been given more functions and application space.Exploring the applicable evaluation methods in the big data environment has become an important subject of research.The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview and discussion of systematic evaluation and improvement in the big data environment.We first review the evaluation methods based on the main analytic techniques of big data such as data mining,statistical methods,optimization and simulation,and deep learning.Focused on the characteristics of big data(association feature,data loss,data noise,and visualization),the relevant evaluation methods are given.Furthermore,we explore the systematic improvement studies and application fields.Finally,we analyze the new application areas of evaluation methods and give the future directions of evaluation method research in a big data environment from six aspects.We hope our research could provide meaningful insights for subsequent research.Feng YANG Manman WANG 2020Frontiers of Engineering Management2020,7,1:3
3Catalytic hydrogenation performance of ZIF-8 carbide for electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide显示文摘The conversion of CO_(2) electrocatalytic hydrogenation into energy-rich fuel is considered to be the most effective way to carbon recycle.Nitrogen-doping carbonized ZIF-8 is proposed as carrier of the earth-rich Sn catalyst to overcome the limit of electron transfer and CO_(2) adsorption capacity of Sn.Hierarchically porous structure of Sn doped carbonized ZIF-8 is controlled by hydrothermal and carbonization conditions,which induces much higher specific surface area than that of the commercial Sn nanoparticle(1003.174 vs.7.410 m^(2)·g^(-1)).The shift of nitrogen peaks in X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy spectra indicates interaction between ZIF-8 and Sn,which induces the shift of electron cloud from Sn to the chemical nitrogen to enhance conductivity and regulate electron transfer from catalyst to CO_(2).Lower mass transfer resistance and Warburg resistance are investigated through EIS,which significantly improves the catalytic activity for CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR).Onset potential of the reaction is reduced from-0.74 V to less than-0.54 V vs.RHE.The total Faraday efficiency of HCOOH and CO reaches 68.9%at-1.14 V vs.RHE,which is much higher than that of the commercial Sn(45.0%)and some other Sn-based catalyst reported in the literature.Shuai Fan Huiyuan Cheng Manman Feng Xuemei Wu Zihao Fan Dongwei Pan Gaohong He 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,11:2
4In situ fabrication of Na3V2(PO4)3 quantum dots in hard carbon nanosheets by using lignocelluloses for sodium ion batteries显示文摘The rational assembly of quantum dots on two-dimensional(2 D) carbonaceous materials is very promising to produce materials, but remains a challenge. Here, we develop an assembly strategy of growing Na3 V2(PO4)3 quantum dots with superlattice structure(NVP-QDs-SL) for obtaining precise control of the size, distribution and crystallinity. The multifunctional lignocelluloses(LCs) used as a hard carbon source induce heterogeneous nucleation and confined growth of NVP-QDs-SL, leading to the uniform distribution of NVP-QDs-SL in H/S-doped hard carbon ultra-thin nanosheets(HCS). Detailed electrochemical analysis results from sodium-ion batteries of NVP-QDs-SL show that NVP-QDs-SL could trap the electrons inside HCS, significantly enhancing Na ion storage and transfer kinetics. Compared to the common Na3 V2(PO4)3 nanoparticle cathode, the NVP-QDs-SL/HCS cathode exhibits a high reversible capacity of 149.2 m A h g^-1 at a 0.1 C rate, which is far beyond the theoretical capacity of Na3 V2(PO4)3(117.6 m A h g^-1).At the ultrahigh current rate of 100 C, this cathode still remains a high discharge capacity of 40 m A h g-1.Even after cycling at 20 C over 3000 cycles, an ultrahigh coulombic efficiency close to 100% is still obtained,highlighting its excellent long cycling life, remarkable rate performance and energy density.Qihao Zhang Xudong Zhang Wen He Guogang Xu Manman Ren Jinhua Liu Xuena Yang Feng Wang 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,10:1

6Development of a Widely Applicable and Simple Prognostic Score for Patients with Acute-on-chronic Liver Failure显示文摘Background and Aims:Acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF)tends to progress rapidly with high short-term mortality.We aimed to create a widely applicable,simple prognostic(WASP)score for ACLF patients.Methods:A retrospective cohort of ACLF cases recruited from three centers in China were divided into training and validation sets to develop the new score.A prospective longitudinal cohort was recruited for further validation.Results:A total of 541 cases were included in the training set,and seven independent ACLF prognostic factors were screened to construct a new quantitative WASP-ACLF table.In the validation set of 671 cases,WASP-ACLF showed better predictive ability for 28-day and 90-day mortality than the currently used prognostic scores at baseline,day 3,week 1,and week 2.The predictive efficacy and clinical validity of the model improved over time.Patients were assigned to low-,intermediate-,and high-risk groups by their WASP-ACLF scores.Compared with the other two groups,intermediate-risk patients had a more uncertain prognosis,with a 90-day mortality of 44.4–50.6%.Sequential assessments at weeks 1 and 2 found the 90-day mortality of intermediate-risk groups was<20%forpatients with a≥2 point decrease in WASP-ACLF and was up to 56%for patients with a≥2 points increase.Similar results were observed in prospective data.Conclusions:The new ACLF prognostic score was simple,widely applicable,and had good predictive efficacy.Continuous assessments and trend of change in WASP-ACLF need to be considered,especially for intermediate-risk patients.Zhenjun Yu Yu Zhang Yuhan Li Feng Zhou Manman Xu Shaoli You Yu Chen Bing Zhu Ming Kong Fangjiao Song Shaojie Xin Zhongping Duan Tao Han China Network for Severe Liver Diseases 2022Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,5:1
7Quorum sensing-based interactions among drugs,microbes,and diseases显示文摘Many diseases and health conditions are closely related to various microbes,which participate in complex interactions with diverse drugs;nonetheless,the detailed targets of such drugs remain to be elucidated.Many existing studies have reported causal associations among drugs,gut microbes,or diseases,calling for a workflow to reveal their intricate interactions.In this study,we developed a systematic workflow comprising three modules to construct a Quorum Sensing-based Drug-Microbe-Disease(QSDMD)database(http://gffzz083eea51bee54f8dh9ccx6fkkcfbw69cb.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/),which includes diverse interactions for more than 8,000 drugs,163 microbes,and 42 common diseases.Potential interactions between microbes and more than 8,000 drugs have been systematically studied by targeting microbial QS receptors combined with a docking-based virtual screening technique and in vitro experimental validations.Furthermore,we have constructed a QS-based drug-receptor interaction network,proposed a systematic framework including various drug-receptor-microbe-disease connections,and mapped a paradigmatic circular interaction network based on the QS-DMD,which can provide the underlying QS-based mechanisms for the reported causal associations.The QS-DMD will promote an understanding of personalized medicine and the development of potential therapies for diverse diseases.This work contributes to a paradigm for the construction of a molecule-receptor-microbe-disease interaction network for human health that may form one of the key knowledge maps of precision medicine in the future.Shengbo Wu Shujuan Yang Manman Wang Nan Song Jie Feng Hao Wu Aidong Yang Chunjiang Liu Yanni Li Fei Guo Jianjun Qiao 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,1:0

10Characterization of bacterial communities during persistent fog and haze events in the Qingdao coastal region显示文摘Here,we report the characteristics of bacterial communities in aerosols with different particle sizes during two persistent fog and haze events in December of 2015 and 2016 in Qingdao,China.In the early stage of pollution,the accumulation of PM_(2.5) led to the accumulation of microorganisms,thus increasing the bacterial richness and diversity of fine particle sizes.With the persistence and aggravation of pollution,the toxic effect was strengthened,and the bacterial richness and diversity of each particle size decreased.When the particle concentration was highest,the richness and diversity were low for each particle size.Light haze had little influence on bacterial communities.The occurrence of highly polluted humid weather and heavy haze resulted in significant changes in bacterial community diversity,composition and structure,and air pollution exerted a greater influence than particle size on bacterial community structure.During persistent fog and haze events,with the increase of pollutants,bacteria associated with each particle size may be extensively involved in aerosol chemistry,but the degree of participation varies,which requires further study.Manman Ma Bo Zhang Ye Chen Wenrong Feng Tiezhu Mi Jianhua Qi Wenshuai Li Zhigang Yu Yu Zhen 2021Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,3:0
