1Structure and governance model of rural social space quality:A case study of Longxi County in the Loess Hilly Area of China显示文摘The rural social space quality is an important indicator to measure the living standard and thinking ideas and so forth of rural residents in a certain region.In this paper,213 administrative villages in Longxi County of the Loess Hilly Area,China are taken as evaluation units to construct the evaluation model of the rural social space quality.This paper deeply analyzed the variation patterns and their formation mechanism of the rural social space quality at a village scale,and proposed a governance model based on the rural social space quality.The results show that:(1)the social space quality levels of individual administrative villages show a gradually decreasing trend from the township seats to outward.The eastern part of Longxi County has a relatively high education level and living standard,and the western part has a relatively high population stability level and income level.(2)The rural social space quality is mainly in a ring structure,supplemented by the interlaced structure.The core area is the towns and their surrounding areas,while the transition area,marginal area,and other areas are expanded around the core area.(3)Social forces and spatial effects jointly shape the variation of the rural social space quality.Social organizations provide a driving force for the allocation of elements,and interweaving with the spatial effects lead to the differences in the social space quality.(4)The governance models of the rural social space quality are constructed based on the principles of retaining the rural“people”,optimizing the rural“land”,and developing the rural“industry”,so as to improve the rural centripetal force,core force,inner thrust,and source power.WU Shanshan MA Libang TAO Tianmin DOU Haojian 2022Journal of Geographical Sciences2022,32,7:2

4Fibers reinforced composite hydrogels with improved lubrication and load-bearing capacity显示文摘Hydrogels as one kind of soft materials with a typical three-dimensional(3D)hydrophilic network have been getting great attention in the field of biolubrication.However,traditional hydrogels commonly show poor tribology performance under high-load conditions because of their poor mechanical strength and toughness.Herein,pure chemical-crosslinking hydrogels mixed with different types of the micron-scale fibers can meet the requirements of strength and toughness for biolubrication materials,meanwhile the corresponding tribology performance improves significantly.In a typical case,three kinds of reinforcement matrix including needle-punched fibers,alginate fibers,and cottons are separately combined with Poly(n-vinyl pyrrolidone)-poly 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate(PVP-PHEMA)hydrogels to prepare fibers reinforced composite hydrogels.The experimental results show that the mechanical properties of fibers reinforced composite hydrogels improve greatly comparable with pure PVP-PHEMA hydrogels.Among three kinds of fibers reinforced composite hydrogel,the as-prepared composite hydrogels reinforced with needle-punched fibers possess the best strength,modulus,and anti-tearing properties.Friction tests indicate that the fibers reinforced composite hydrogels demonstrate stable water-lubrication performance comparable with pure PVP-PHEMA hydrogels.Besides,the hydrogel-spunlace fiber samples show the best load-bearing and anti-wear capacities.The improved tribology performance of the composite hydrogels is highly related to mechanical property and the interaction between the fibers and hydrogel network.Finally,spunlace fibers reinforced hydrogel materials with high load-bearing and low friction properties are expected to be used as novel biomimetic lubrication materials.Jiawei LI Luyao GAO Rongnian XU Shuanhong MA Zhengfeng MA Yanhua LIU Yang WU Libang FENG Meirong CAI Feng ZHOU 2022Friction2022,10,1:1

8Ecological Land Suitability for Arid Region at River Basin Scale:Framework and Application Based on Minmum Cumulative Resistance(MCR) Model显示文摘As an important and typical arid inland region in China,Shiyang River Basin plays an important role in maintaining the sustainable development of eco-environment,whose ecological land suitability restricts the development of the local human activities.Therefore,Shiyang River Basin was selected as the case study,the minimum cumulative resistance(MCR)model and GIS technique were integrated to create land suitability evaluation map.We calculated the MCR value of ecological source and living source,and divided the whole basin into five partitions according to the difference between ecological source and living source,and analyzed the patterns and characteristics of the ecological land suitability evaluation(ELSE)regions,respectively.The results showed that:1)The suitable ecological land includes prohibited development region and restricted development region,which accounts for 15.45%and 23.35%of the total land area of the Shiyang River Basin,respectively.These two regions mainly distributed high altitude region in the southern Qilian Mountain and low altitude region where had high density of rivers.2)The protection of ecological land requires not only conserving existing ecological land but also focusing on ecological buffer belts around ecological sources and improving ecological land service ability.3)Ecological networks should be constructed through artificial planting trees around the boundary of oasis and ecological restoration region.Buffer greenbelts should also be established between optimized development region and ecological restoration region.WEI Wei LIU Congying MA Libang ZHANG Xueyuan XIE Binbin 2022Chinese Geographical Science2022,32,2:0
9Deletion of COM donor and acceptor domains and the interaction between modules in bacillomycin D produced by Bacillus amyloliquefaciens显示文摘Bacillomycin D is a cyclic lipopeptide produced by Bacillus amyloliquefaciens fmbJ.At present,no relevant report has described the combinatorial biosynthesis of bacillomycin D.Due to the strong biosynthetic potential of the communication-mediating(COM)domains,its crosstalk between NRPS subunits has been studied to some extent,but the interaction of COM domain between modules is rarely reported.Therefore,in this study,we conducted the combinatorial biosynthesis of bacillomycin D through the deletion of the COM donor and acceptor domains between the modules and elucidated the interaction between the NRPS modules.The results showed that the deletion of the donor domain between modules 2 and 3 did not affect catalysis by upstream modules,but prevented downstream modules from catalysing the extension of the lipopeptide product,ultimately resulting in mutant complexes that could form linear dipeptides with the sequenceβ-NH_(2)FA-Asn-Tyr.However,the engineered hybrid bacillomycin D NRPSs lacking the donor domains between modules 3 and 4 and modules 6 and 7 could form multiple assembly lines that produced bacillomycin D and its analogs(linear tripeptides,cyclic hexapeptides and linear hexapeptides).In addition,all the acceptor domain deletion strains failed to produce bacillomycin D,only truncated peptides produced by module interruption(except for the acceptor domain deletion strains between modules 3 and 4,which also produced cyclic hexapeptides).In conclusion,deletion of the inter-module donor domains led to a more flexible hybrid biosynthetic system for the production of diverse peptide products;compared with the inter-subunit donor domain deletion strains that could only produce truncated peptides,the former had a greater biosynthetic capacity.Meanwhile,the acceptor domains between modules were an important part of module-module interactions and efficient communication within bacillomycin D synthetase.Ziyan Lv Wenjie Ma Ping Zhang Zhaoxin Lu Libang Zhou Fanqiang Meng Zuwei Wang Xiaomei Bie 2022Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2022,7,3:0
