2Simulating hydrological responses to climate change using dynamic and statistical downscaling methods: a case study in the Kaidu River Basin, Xinjiang, China显示文摘Climate change may affect water resources by altering various processes in natural ecosystems. Dynamic and statistical downscaling methods are commonly used to assess the impacts of climate change on water resources. Objectively, both methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. In the present study, we assessed the impacts of climate change on water resources during the future periods (2020–2029 and 2040–2049) in the upper reaches of the Kaidu River Basin, Xinjiang, China, and discussed the uncertainties in the research processes by integrating dynamic and statistical downscaling methods (regional climate models (RCMs) and general circulation modes (GCMs)) and utilizing these outputs. The reference period for this study is 1990–1999. The climate change trend is represented by three bias-corrected RCMs (i.e., Hadley Centre Global Environmental Model version 3 regional climate model (HadGEM3-RA), Regional Climate Model version 4 (RegCM4), and Seoul National University Meso-scale Model version 5 (SUN-MM5)) and an ensemble of GCMs on the basis of delta change method under two future scenarios (RCP4.5 and RCP8.5). We applied the hydrological SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) model which uses the RCMs/GCMs outputs as input to analyze the impacts of climate change on the stream flow and peak flow of the upper reaches of the Kaidu River Basin. The simulation of climate factors under future scenarios indicates that both temperature and precipitation in the study area will increase in the future compared with the reference period, with the largest increase of annual mean temperature and largest percentage increase of mean annual precipitation being of 2.4°C and 38.4%, respectively. Based on the results from bias correction of climate model outputs, we conclude that the accuracy of RCM (regional climate model) simulation is much better for temperature than for precipitation. The percentage increase in precipitation simulated by the three RCMs is generally higher than that simulated by the ensemble of GCMs. As for the changes in seasonal precipitation, RCMs exhibit a large percentage increase in seasonal precipitation in the wet season, while the ensemble of GCMs shows a large percentage increase in the dry season. Most of the hydrological simulations indicate that the total stream flow will decrease in the future due to the increase of evaporation, and the maximum percentage decrease can reach up to 22.3%. The possibility of peak flow increasing in the future is expected to higher than 99%. 3One-step synthesis of N-doped metal/biochar composite using NH_3-ambiance pyrolysis for efficient degradation and mineralization of Methylene Blue显示文摘A series of new biochar-supported composite based on the combination of biochar and metallic nanoparticles(NPs)were produced through single-step pyrolysis of FeCl_3–Ti(OBu)_4 laden agar biomass under NH_3 environment.The physiochemical properties of composites were characterized thoroughly.It has found that heating temperature and N-doping through NH_3-ambiance pyrolysis significantly influence the visible-light sensitivity and bandgap energy of composites.The catalytic activities of composites were measured by degradation of Methylene Blue(MB)in the presence or absence of H_2O_2 and visible-light irradiation.Our best catalyst(N–TiO_2–Fe_3O_4-biochar)exhibits rapid and high MB removal competency(99.99%)via synergism of adsorption,photodegradation,and Fenton-like reaction.Continuous production of O_2U^-and UOH radicles performs MB degradation and mineralization,confirmed by scavenging experiments and degradation product analysis.The local trap state Ti^(3+),Fe_3O_4,and N-carbon of the catalyst acted as active sites.It has suggested that the Ti^(3+)and N-doped dense carbon layer improve charge separation and shuttle that prolonged photo-Fenton like reaction.Moreover,the catalyst is highly stable,collectible,and recyclable up to 5 cycles with high MB degradation efficiency.This work provides a new insight into the synthesis of highly visible-light sensitized biocharsupported photocatalyst through NH_3-ambiance pyrolysis of NPs-laden biomass.Md Manik Mian Guijian Liu Balal Yousaf Biao Fu Rafay Ahmed Qumber Abbas Mehr Ahmed Mujtaba Munir Liu Ruijia 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,4:8
4NS1 antigen: A new beam of light in the early diagnosis of dengue infection显示文摘Objective: To evaluate NS1 antigen detection ELISA for the early laboratory diagnosis of dengue virus infection. Methods: The present study was conducted to evaluate the overall positivity of NS1 antigen detection ELISA and its comparison with viral RNA detection via real time PCR and Ig M antibodies detection by ELISA. Results: A total of 1 270 serum samples were tested 86%(1 097/1 270) were detected positive by one or more than one diagnostic test. 6不同生长阶段籽粒苋干草在奶牛瘤胃中的降解特性显示文摘试验选择4头健康的装有瘤胃瘘管的奶牛,采用尼龙袋方法评定籽粒苋干草在奶牛瘤胃中的降解率。评价指标包括干物质(DM)、粗蛋白质(CP)、中性洗涤纤维(NDF)和酸性洗涤纤维(ADF)。结果显示:1)现蕾期籽粒苋干草CP含量显著高于其他生长阶段(P<0.05),NDF含量最高的是成熟期。2)籽粒苋干草24h内DM降解较快,此后缓慢降解;现蕾期籽粒苋干草DM有效降解率显著高于其他时期(P<0.05)。72h时所有籽粒苋干草CP降解率在80%左右,盛花期干草显著高于初花期和成熟期(P<0.05),初花期时CP有效降解率显著低于其他生长阶段(P<0.05)。在瘤胃降解72h后,NDF降解率最高的是现蕾期,显著高于其他时期的干草(P<0.05)。而对ADF有效降解率而言,成熟期干草显著高于其他生长阶段(P<0.05)。3)籽粒苋干草36h的DM降解率和有效降解率相关性最强,R 2达到0.9942;而CP和NDF相关性最强的时间点是16h和24h。综上所述,现蕾期籽粒苋干草的营养价值、DM和NDF瘤胃有效降解率最高,CP和ADF有效降解率分别在盛花期和成熟期最高。孙国庆 马健 张文杰 Ali Mujtaba Shah 李胜利 余雄 2020中国草地学报2020,42,5:3
7The community structure and microbial linkage of rumen protozoa and methanogens in response to the addition of tea seed saponins in the diet of beef cattle显示文摘Background: This study investigated changes in rumen protozoal and methanogenic communities, along with the correlations among microbial taxa and methane(CH_4) production of six Belmont Red Composite beef steers fed tea seed saponins(TSS). Animals were fed in three consecutive feeding periods, a high-grain basal diet for 14 d(BD period) then a period of progressive addition of TSS to the basal diet up to 30 g/d for 20 d(TSS period), followed by the basal diet for 13 d without TSS(BDP post-control period).Results: The study found that TSS supplementation decreased the amount of the protozoal genus Entodinium and increased Polyplastron and Eudiplodinium genera. During BDP period, the protozoa community of steers did not return to the protozoal profiles observed in BD period, with higher proportions of Metadinium and Eudiplodinium and lower Isotricha. The addition of TSS was found to change the structure of methanogen community at the subgenus level by decreasing the abundance of methanogens in the SGMT clade and increasing the abundance of methanogens in the RO clade. The correlation analysis indicated that the abundance of SGMT clade methanogens were positively correlated with Isotricha, and Isotricha genus and SGMT clade methanogens were positively correlated with CH_4 production. 9Pneumomediastinum, pneumorachis, subcutaneous emphysema: An unusual complication of leukemia in a child显示文摘Pneumorrhachis(PR), or epidural emphysema, denotes the presence of air in the spinal epidural space. It can be associated with a variety of etiologies, including trauma; recent iatrogenic manipulations during surgical, anesthesiological and diagnostic interventions;malignancy and its associated therapy. It usually represents an asymptomatic epiphenomenon but also can be symptomatic by itself, as well as by its underlying pathology, and rarely can be fatal. The pathogenesis and etiology of PR are varied and can sometimes be a diagnostic challenge. As such, there are no standard guidelines for the management of symptomatic PR and its treatment is often individualized. Here, we present a case of a 14-year-old boy treated for leukemia who developed this complication and whether chemotherapy related or not, it proved to be fatal for him. 12不同去势程度对筠连黄牛生长性能、血清指标和瘤胃发酵的影响显示文摘本试验旨在对不同去势程度筠连黄牛的生长性能、血清指标和瘤胃发酵进行探究。选取18头年龄(9月龄)和体重[(184.46±17.37)kg]相近的健康筠连黄牛公牛,随机分为3组(双去势组、半去势组和假手术组),每组6头牛,饲喂相同饲粮,不同程度去势后,进行240 d的饲养试验。结果表明:1)与假手术相比,双去势能够显著降低筠连黄牛的体重和平均日增重(P≤0.05),而半去势对体重和平均日增重无显著影响(P>0.05);去势程度不会影响筠连黄牛的干物质采食量和营养物质摄入量(P>0.05)。2)双去势组筠连黄牛血清睾酮和生长激素浓度显著低于假手术组(P≤0.05),而血清雌二醇、胰岛素和生长抑素浓度则显著高于假手术组(P≤0.05);半去势对血清各激素浓度无显著影响(P>0.05)。3)与假手术相比,双去势导致筠连黄牛血清低密度脂蛋白浓度、谷草转氨酶和碱性磷酸酶活性显著升高(P≤0.05),血清游离脂肪酸、总蛋白和球蛋白浓度显著降低(P≤0.05)。4)与假手术组相比,双去势组筠连黄牛瘤胃液pH显著升高(P≤0.05),但瘤胃液氨态氮、微生物蛋白和挥发性脂肪酸(除丁酸和戊酸)浓度均显著降低(P≤0.05);半去势对筠连黄牛各瘤胃发酵参数均无显著影响(P>0.05)。综上可知,双去势导致筠连黄牛的生长性能降低,同时血清睾酮浓度下降,雌二醇浓度增加,降低瘤胃代谢,但能一定程度促进脂肪的合成;半去势由于睾丸激素的代偿性分泌,能够弥补单侧睾丸缺失所产生的不利影响,使其与假手术组无显著差异。李翔 ALI Mujtaba Shah 王之盛 胡瑞 黎光杨 姚小鹤 王艳阳 梁秀容 张祺琪 邹华围 彭全辉 薛白 王立志 2022动物营养学报2022,34,4:2
