3转谷氨酰胺酶(mTG)改性明胶的物理性质研究显示文摘用来源于微生物的转谷氨酰胺酶(mTG)对不同品级和不同类型的明胶进行改性,并考察了改性产物的物理性质与酶用量的关系。结果表明:随着酶用量的增加,低强度明胶改性产物的凝胶强度有所提高,而高强度明胶改性产物的凝胶强度保持不变甚至有所降低;所有改性明胶的熔点都随酶用量的增加而提高,有些甚至达到90℃;所有改性产物在60℃时的粘度都随酶用量的增加而提高;改性产物的凝胶温度不仅受酶用量的影响,而且与明胶的品级和种类有关。这一实验结果显示出源自微生物的转谷氨酰胺酶在提高低品级明胶的使用性能及更充分利用制革废弃物等方面都有广阔的应用前景。丁克毅 刘军 Eleanor M.Brown Maryann M.Taylor 2006食品与生物技术学报2006,25,2:9
4Adult female syphilis prevalence,congenital syphilis case incidence and adverse birth outcomes,Mongolia 2000e2016:Estimates using the Spectrum STI tool显示文摘Introduction:Mongolia's health ministry prioritizes control of Sexually Transmitted Infections,including syphilis screening and treatment in antenatal care(ANC).Methods:Adult syphilis prevalence trends were fitted using the Spectrum-STI estimation tool,using data from ANC surveys and routine screening over 1997e2016.Estimates were combined with programmatic data to estimate numbers of treated and untreated pregnant women with syphilis and associated incidence congenital syphilis(CS)and CS-attributable adverse birth outcomes(ABO),which we compared with CS case reports.Results:Syphilis prevalence in pregnant women was estimated at 1.7%in 2000 and 3.0%in 2016.We estimated 652 CS cases,of which 410 ABO,in 2016.Far larger,annually increasing numbers of CS cases and ABO were estimated to have been prevented:1654 cases,of which 789 ABO in 2016thanks to increasing coverages of ANC(99%in 2016),ANC-based screening(97%in 2016)and treatment of women diagnosed(81%in 2016).The 42 CS cases reported nationally over 2016(liveborn infants only)represented 27%of liveborn infants with clinical CS,but only 7%of estimated CS cases among women found syphilis-infected in ANC,and 6%of all estimated CS cases including those born to women with undiagnosed syphilis.Discussion/Conclusion:Mongolia's ANC-based syphilis screening program is reducing CS,but maternal prevalence remains high.To eliminate CS(target:<50 cases per 100,000 live births),Mongolia should strengthen ANC services,limiting losses during referral for treatment,and under-diagnosis of CS including still-births and neonatal deaths,and expand syphilis screening and prevention programs.Erdenetungalag Enkhbat Eline L.Korenromp Jugderjav Badrakh Setsen Zayasaikhan Purevsuren Baya Enkhjargal Orgiokhuu Narantuya Jadambaa Sergelen Munkhbaatar Delgermaa Khishigjargal Narantuya Khad Guy Mahiane Naoko Ishikawa Davaalkham Jagdagsuren Melanie M.Taylor 2018Infectious Disease Modelling2018,3,1:4

9The Representation of Soil Moisture−Atmosphere Feedbacks across the Tibetan Plateau in CMIP6显示文摘Thermal processes on the Tibetan Plateau(TP)influence atmospheric conditions on regional and global scales.Given this,previous work has shown that soil moisture−driven surface flux variations feed back onto the atmosphere.Whilst soil moisture is a source of atmospheric predictability,no study has evaluated soil moisture−atmosphere coupling on the TP in general circulation models(GCMs).In this study,we use several analysis techniques to assess soil moisture−atmosphere coupling in CMIP6 simulations including:instantaneous coupling indices;analysis of flux and atmospheric behaviour during dry spells;and a quantification of the preference for convection over drier soils.Through these metrics we partition feedbacks into their atmospheric and terrestrial components.Consistent with previous global studies,we conclude substantial inter-model differences in the representation of soil moisture−atmosphere coupling,and that most models underestimate such feedbacks.Focusing on dry spell analysis,most models underestimate increased sensible heat during periods of rainfall deficiency.For example,the model-mean bias in anomalous sensible heat flux is 10 W m−2(≈25%)smaller compared to observations.Deficient dry-spell sensible heat fluxes lead to a weaker atmospheric response.We also find that most GCMs fail to capture the negative feedback between soil moisture and deep convection.The poor simulation of feedbacks in CMIP6 experiments suggests that forecast models also struggle to exploit soil moisture−driven predictability.To improve the representation of land−atmosphere feedbacks requires developments in not only atmospheric modelling,but also surface processes,as we find weak relationships between rainfall biases and coupling indexes.Joshua TALIB Omar V.MÜLLER Emma J.BARTON Christopher M.TAYLOR Pier Luigi VIDALE 2023Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,11:1

11Synchronization of Weighted Essentially Non-Oscillatory Methods显示文摘Weighted essentially non-oscillatory(WENO)methods have been developed to simultaneously provide robust shock-capturing in compressible fluid flow and avoid excessive damping of fine-scale flow features such as turbulence.Under certain conditions in compressible turbulence,however,numerical dissipation remains unacceptably high even after optimization of the linear component that dominates in smooth regions.Of the nonlinear error that remains,we demonstrate that a large fraction is generated by a“synchronization deficiency”that interferes with the expression of theoretically predicted numerical performance characteristics when the WENO adaptation mechanism is engaged.This deficiency is illustrated numerically in simulations of a linearly advected sinusoidal wave and the Shu-Osher problem[J.Comput.Phys.,83(1989),pp.32-78].It is shown that attempting to correct this deficiency through forcible synchronization results in violation of conservation.We conclude that,for the given choice of candidate stencils,the synchronization deficiency cannot be adequately resolved under the current WENO smoothness measurement technique.Ellen M.Taylor M.Pino Martin 2008Communications in Computational Physics2008,4,6:0
12Mind the “Gap”: A Comparison of the Weekly Training Loads of English Premier League Academy Soccer Players in Under 23, Under 18 and Under 16 Age-Groups显示文摘Purpose The transition into full-time training represents a key period in the development of young soccer players.Here we compared the weekly training loads(matches,field-,and resistance-training)of English Premier-League Academy soccer players from under-16(U16),under-18(U18)and under-23(U23)age-groups during a training meso-cycle.Methods Forty players(U16 n=13,U18 n=15 and U23 n=12)were monitored using global navigation satellite systems and differential ratings of perceived exertion(dRPE).External load metrics were total distance,high-speed running distance,[absolute:≥19.8 km/h,relative:≥87%of 30-15 final-velocity(vIFT)],sprint distance(absolute:≥25.2 km/h,relative:≥80%maximal sprint speed),and dynamic stress load.Internal load metrics were dRPE training loads.Results Other than relative sprint distance,overall weekly external training loads were substantially greater for U18s and U23s when compared with U16s[effect size range:1.09-1.99(moderate to large);±90%confidence limits~0.45].When compared with U16s,overall internal loads were substantially greater for U18s[0.69-0.95(moderate);±~0.40],but not U23s.Differences in weekly training loads between U18s and U23s were inconclusive.Conclusions Substantial differences in training loads between elite U16 players and their older counterparts,indicates the need for planned increases in training loads in anticipation of the transition into full-time training.Jonathan M.Taylor Jonathan L.Madden Frances Hunter Ben J.Thorne Shaun J.McLaren 2023Journal of Science in Sport and Exercise2023,5,1:0
