The structure and mechanical property of silane-graftedpolyethylene/SiO_(2) nanocomposite fiber rope显示文摘The effect of vinyltrimethoxysilane(VTMS)graft and SiO_(2) on the structure and mechanical properties of silane-grafted-polyethylene/SiO_(2)(VTMS-g-PE/SiO_(2))nanocomposite fibers and ropes was studied.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transfer infrared(FT-IR),differential scanning calorimetry analysis(DSC)and tensile mechanical tests were performed to characterize the morphology, thermal and mechanical properties of nanocomposite fibers and ropes. The results revealed that the SiO_(2) nanoparticles were well dispersed throughout the polymeric matrix. With increasing SiO_(2) content,T_(m),the melt peak width and X_(c),degree of crystallinity,of VTMS-g-PE/SiO_(2) nanocomposite fibers increased. The breaking load and breaking strength of the nanocomposite fiber ropes were remarkably improved compared to pure PE fiber ropes and elongation at break was also decreased.Wenwen Yu Jiangao Shi Lumin Wang Xiaoxue Chen Minghua Min Lei Wang Yongli Liu 2017Aquaculture and Fisheries2017,2,1:2
Isolation and Neuroprotective Activity of Phenolic Derivatives from the Marine-Derived Fungus Penicillium janthinellum显示文摘A new phenolic compound, 6-(2-acetyl-3,5-dihydroxybenzyl)-4-hydroxy-3-methyl-2H-pyran-2-one(1), along with other six known phenolic derivatives(2-7), were isolated from the mangrove rhizosphere fungus Penicillium janthinellum HK1-6 cultured in potato dextrose broth medium containing 30 g L^(-1) of natural sea salt. The structure of the new compound(1) was elucidated by comprehensive analysis of spectroscopic data including 1D and 2D NMR spectra. The proposed biosynthetic pathway of compound 1 was also studied in this research. Interestingly, a brominated phenolic derivative, aryl bromide(compound 8), was obtained from this fungal strain cultured in medium containing 30 g L^-1 of NaBr instead of natural sea salt. Compound 8 is proposed as a new natural product and formed through bromination of compound 7 when the fungus was cultured with NaBr. The neuroprotective effect of compound 1 on oxygen-glucose deprivation(OGD)-induced injury was investigated in rat spinal cord astrocytes. MTT assay demonstrated that compound 1 can attenuate OGD-induced cell viability loss in rat spinal cord astrocytes.ZHENG Yaoyao CHEN Xu CHEN Lumin SHEN Li FU Xiumei CHEN Qiuxia CHEN Min WANG Changyun 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,3:2
Recent Advances in Molybdenum-Based Materials for Lithium-Sulfur Batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries as power supply systems possessing a theoretical energy density of as high as 2600 Wh kg−1 are considered promising alternatives toward the currently used lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However, the insulation characteristic and huge volume change of sulfur, the generation of dissolvable lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)during charge/discharge,and the uncontrollable dendrite formation of Li metal anodes render Li-S batteries serious cycling issues with rapid capacity decay. To address these challenges, extensive efforts are devoted to designing cathode/anode hosts and/or modifying separators by incorporating functional materials with the features of improved conductivity,lithiophilic,physical/chemical capture ability toward LiPSs,and/or efficient catalytic conversion of LiPSs.Among all candidates,molybdenum-based(Mo-based)materials are highly preferred for their tunable crystal structure, adjustable composition, variable valence of Mo centers, and strong interactions with soluble LiPSs.Herein, the latest advances in design and application of Mo-based materials for Li-S batteries are comprehensively reviewed, covering molybdenum oxides, molybdenum dichalcogenides, molybdenum nitrides, molybdenum carbides, molybdenum phosphides, and molybdenum metal. In the end,the existing challenges in this research field are elaborately discussed.Henghan Dai Lumin Wang Yue Zhao Jialu Xue Ruicong Zhou Chenyang Yu Jianing An Jinyuan Zhou Qiang Chen Gengzhi Sun Wei Huang 2021Research2021,,1:1
Ca^(2+)-dependent TaCCD1 cooperates with TaSAUR215 to enhance plasma membrane H^(+)-ATPase activity and alkali stress tolerance by inhibiting PP2C-mediated dephosphorylation of TaHA2 in wheat显示文摘Alkali stress is a major constraint for crop production in many regions of saline-alkali land. However, little is known about the mechanisms through which wheat responds to alkali stress. In this study,we identified a calcium ion-binding protein from wheat,TaCCD1,which is critical for regulating the plasma membrane(PM)H^(+)-ATPase-mediated alkali stress response.PM H+-ATPase activity is closely related to alkali tolerance in the wheat variety Shanrong 4(SR4).We found that two D-clade type 2C protein phosphatases,TaPP2C.D1 and TaPP2C.D8(TaPP2C.D1/8),negatively modulate alkali stress tolerance by dephosphorylating the penultimate threonine residue(Thr926)of TaHA2 and thereby inhibiting PM H+-ATPase activity.Alkali stress induces the expression of TaCCD1 in SR4,and TaCCD1 interacts with TaSAUR215,an early auxin-responsive protein. These responses are both dependent on calcium signaling triggered by alkali stress.TaCCD1 enhances the inhibitory effect of TaSAUR215 on TaPP2C.D1/8 activity, thereby promoting the activity of the PM H^(+)-ATPase TaHA2 and alkali stress tolerance in wheat.Functional and genetic analyses verified the effects of these genes in response to alkali stress, indicating that TaPP2C.D1/8 function downstream of TaSAUR215 and TaCCD1.Collectively,this study uncovers a new signaling pathway that regulates wheat responses to alkali stress,in which Ca^(2+)-dependent TaCCD1 cooperates with TaSAUR215 to enhance PM H+-ATPase activity and alkali stress tolerance by inhibiting TaPP2C.D1/8-mediated dephosphorylation of PM H+-ATPase TaHA2 in wheat.Minghan Cui Yanping Li Jianhang Li Fengxiang Yin Xiangyu Chen Lumin Qin Lin Wei Guangmin Xia Shuwei Liu 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,3:1

Flexible,anti-damage,and non-contact sensing electronic skin implanted with MWCNT to block public pathogens contact infection显示文摘If a person comes into contact with pathogens on public facilities, there is a threat of contact(skin/wound)infections.More urgently, there are also reports about COVID-19 coronavirus contact infection, which once again reminds that contact infection is a very easily overlooked disease exposure route.Herein,we propose an innovative implantation strategy to fabricate a multi-walled carbon nanotube/polyvinyl alcohol(MWCNT/PVA,MCP)interpenetrating interface to achieve flexibility,anti-damage,and non-contact sensing electronic skin(E-skin).Interestingly,the MCP E-skin had a fascinating non-contact sensing function, which can respond to the finger approaching 0−20 mm through the spatial weak field. This non-contact sensing can be applied urgently to human–machine interactions in public facilities to block pathogen. The scratches of the fruit knife did not damage the MCP E-skin,and can resist chemical corrosion after hydrophobic treatment. In addition, the MCP E-skin was developed to real-time monitor the respiratory and cough for exercise detection and disease diagnosis.Notably, the MCP E-skin has great potential for emergency applications in times of infectious disease pandemics.Duan-Chao Wang Hou-Yong Yu Lurong Jiang Dongming Qi Xinxing Zhang Lumin Chen Wentao Lv Weiqiang Xu Kam Chiu Tam 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:1

Application of different molecular sieves in photothermal catalysis of Jatropha oil显示文摘The preparation of green and economical bio-aviation fuel is a priority for the sustainable development industry. In this study,Jatropha oil was used as a raw material to catalyze the conversion of raw material to aviation kerosene fraction by photothermal coupling under the conditions of light and low temperature. The correlations among conversion rate, target alkane selectivity, composition distribution, and catalyst microstructure were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),nitrogen(N2)adsorption and desorption,X-ray fluorescence(XRF),ammoniatemperature programmed desorption(NH3-TPD),ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry(UV-Vis),and other characterization. The correlation between conversion and target alkane selectivity and composition distribution and catalyst microstructure was investigated, and different modification methods and different molecular sieve materials were selected. The results showed that the molecular sieves modified with the solid dispersion method could retain the structural stability of titanium dioxide(TiO2)and molecular sieves to a great extent while slightly enhancing the pore capacity and pore size of the catalyst to make it easier to adsorb reactants;the introduction of active metal platinum(Pt)could reduce the forbidden bandwidth of the catalyst, increase the weak acid amount of the catalyst, improve the adsorption capacity of hydrogen(H2),and thus improve the catalytic ability, resulting in a suitable catalyst for this study:P-21.The photothermal catalytic reaction of Jatropha oil using P-21 catalyst obtained 97.21%conversion and 74.99%selectivity of the target alkanes under the optimal process parameters. The results of this study provide effective catalyst parameters for research in the field of clean energy.Yijie Yang Longlong Ma Lumin Sun Xinghua Zhang Chao Gui Yubao Chen 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,5:0
Numerical investigation of non-spherical particle deposition characteristics on filter media显示文摘In the building environment,PM2.5 seriously affects people’s health and quality of life,so it is necessary to study the particle deposition characteristics. In addition,it is essential for a thorough investigation of the dust removal mechanism to understand the non-spherical particles deposition characteristics. The stacking angle experiment was used to calibrate the discrete element simulation parameters. And four simulation methods(CFD-DPM,CFD-DEM,API interface loading drag model based on EDEM software and EDEM simulation)were used to numerically simulate the non-spherical particles deposition characteristics. The optimal simulation method EDEM was applied to study the non-spherical particles deposition characteristics in filter media, which saves the calculation time obviously. On this basis, the particle parameters on the particle deposition characteristics of filter media were investigated. The results show that the deposition rate of non-spherical(special shape)particles with the same volume is basically consistent on the filter media, hence it is more realistic that the dust actual shape is simplified into the triangular-shaped particles. As the particle size increases, the number of deposited particles on the filter media decreases. And the larger the particle size, the more dispersed the distribution. It has a significant impact on the number of particles deposited on the filter media when the particle velocity is 0.1 m/s.The particle deposits to the lower part of the filter media in the form of a parabola and deviates from the outlet seriously at 0.1 m/s.Moreover,it has little effect on the number of particle deposition at the other velocities, and most particles are deposited on the upper part of the filter media with the increase of particle velocity.Lumin Chen Ke Yuan Fuping Qian Zhimin Zheng Jinli Lu Yunlong Han 2023Building Simulation2023,16,8:0
An Experimental and Numerical Study on the Cleaning of Pleated Bag Filters Using Low-Pressure Pulsed-Jets显示文摘Pulsed-jet cleaning is recognized as the most efficient method to regenerate bag dust collectors traditionally used in industrial processes to control the emission of particulates. In this study,non-woven needle felt filter bags with and without a film coating material have been analyzed considering different geometries(different number N of pairs of pleated filter bag sides)in the frame of dedicated low-pressure pulsed-jet cleaning experiments. The flow structure inside the bag and the response characteristics of its wall have also been analyzed numerically through a computational fluid-dynamics/structural-dynamics(CFD-CSD)unidirectional fluid-solid coupling method. As shown by the experiments, the peak pressure(P_(0))on the wall of the filter bag with N=8 and 12 is higher, which indicates dust can be removed more effectively in these cases. The peak pressure on the wall increases first and then decreases along the direction of the bag length, while the peak pressure of the pleated filter bag with nonwoven needled felt film coating is greater than that without film coating.A comprehensive analysis of the time variation of acceleration, deformation, strain, stress and other factors, has led to the conclusion that the pleated filter bag with N=12 would be the optimal choice.Lumin Chen Wanying Sun Fuping Qian Can Fang Zhimin Zheng Qianshuang Zhuang Yunlong Han Jinli Lu 2022Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2022,18,1:0
