1γ-MnO2 nanorods/graphene composite as efficient cathode for advanced rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion battery显示文摘Aqueous Zn//MnO2 batteries are emerging as promising large-scale energy storage devices owing to their cost-effectiveness,high safety,high output voltage,and energy density.However,the MnO2 cathode suffers from intrinsically poor rate performance and rapid capacity deterioration.Here,we remove the roadblock by compositing MnO2 nanorods with highly conductive graphene,which remarkably enhances the electrochemical properties of the MnO2 cathode.Benefiting from the boosted electric conductivity and ion diffusion rate as well as the structural protection of graphene,the Zn//MnO2-graphene battery presents an admirable capacity of 301 mAh g^-1 at 0.5 A g^-1,corresponding to a high energy density of 411.6 Wh kg^-1.Even at a high current density of 10 A g^-1,a decent capacity of 95.8 mAh g^-1 is still obtained,manifesting its excellent rate property.Furthermore,an impressive power density of 15 kW kg^-1 is achieved by the Zn//MnO2-graphene battery.Chao Wang Yinxiang Zeng Xiang Xiao Shijia Wu Guobin Zhong Kaiqi Xu Zengfu Wei Wei Su Xihong Lu 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,4:13
2Mining the key regulatory genes of chicken inosine 5'-monophosphate metabolism based on time series microarray data显示文摘IMP(inosine 5'-monophosphate) is a compound that enhances the flavor of poultry meat.IMP has become a new breeding trait to improve poultry meat quality.We tried to identify several potential regulatory genes,and construct their predicted regulatory relationships.Time series gene expression profiles of thigh muscle tissues of Rugao chicken,a famous indigenous breed in China,were performed for analysis of genes that are co-expressed or correlated with the concentration of IMP.We found 15 crucial co-expression genes,which are Hspa2,Pten,Gabpa,Bpi,Mkl1,Srf,Cd34,Hspa4,Etv6,Bmpr2,Gde1,Igfbp5,Cd28,Pecam1 and Gja1,that may directly or indirectly regulate IMP metabolism.Eventually,we computed the correlation coefficient between 19 IMP Genes and 15 CGs(15co-expression genes),and we identified and constructed a predicted regulation network.In conclusion,variation of IMP concentration was primarily connected with the muscle development process.During this process,15 CGs were identified that may have significant influence on IMP metabolism.In particular,Bmpr2,Pten and co-expression genes correlated with Entpd8 might play important roles in regulating IMP de novo synthesis,decomposition and salvage synthesis.Teng Ma Lu Xu Hongzhi Wang Jing Chen Lu Liu Guobin Chang Guohong Chen 2015Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,3:6

4HERG K+ channels expression in gastric cancers and analysis of its regulation in tumor cell proliferation and apoptosis显示文摘Objective:To investigate the expression of herg1 gene in tumor tissues from gastric carcinomas and gastric carcinoma cell lines,and study the relationship between HERG K+ channel expressions and tumor cell proliferation and apoptosis. Methods:RT-PCR and PCR assays were used to detect the expression of herg1 gene in 64 gastric carcinomas and the gastric cancer cell line SGC-7901. Blocking the HERG K+ channels was used to evaluate their effects on tumor cell proliferation and apoptosis. Results:The statistically significant expression of herg1 gene was detected in all the gastric cancers and SGC-7901 cells,but not in normal tissues. The HERG K+ channel blocker,E-4031,increased the cell population in G0/G1(P < 0.05) and the number of apoptotic tumor cells(P < 0.05). 5An anti-freezing biomineral hydrogel of high strain sensitivity for artificial skin applications显示文摘Mineral hydrogels have caught a lot of attention for their strong competency as artificial skin-like materials.Nonetheless,it remains a great difficulty in fulfilling in one hydrogel system a range of key functionalities that are needed for practical artificial skin applications,i.e.,to be biocompatible,strain-sensitive,ion-conductive,elastic and robust,anti-swelling,and anti-freezing.Here we present a such type of versatile hydrogel that is not only capable to deliver all the above-mentioned key functionalities but also highly stable.This novel hydrogel is constructed by introducing a gelatinous and amorphous multi-ionic biomineral(denoted as Mg-ACCP,containing Mg^(2+),Ca^(2+),CO_(3)^(2−),and PO_(4)^(3−))into the network of biocompatible polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)and sodium alginate(SA).The presence of Mg^(2+)and PO_(4)^(3−)in this hydrogel helps prohibit the crystallization of the biominerals,leading to significantly improved stability.The hydrogel thus obtained delivers excellent mechanical performance due to the chelation between the mineral ions and the organic matrix,and high sensitivity even to subtle pressure and strain applied,such as slight finger bending and gentle tapping.Furthermore,the novel hydrogel features high ionic conductivity,high resistance to swelling,and extraordinary anti-freezing property,holding great promise for applications in different practical scenarios,particularly in aqueous or cold environments.Junda Shen Peng Du Binbin Zhou Guobin Zhang Xinxue Tang Jie Pan Bo Li Jingyang Zhang Jian Lu Yang Yang Li 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:1
6Isotopic evidence for soil water sources and reciprocal movement in a semi-arid degraded wetland:Implications for wetland restoration显示文摘Understanding water dynamics is a prerequisite for the restoration of degraded ecosystems in arid and semiarid regions.In this study,we carried out δD and δ^(18)O analyses of precipitation,unsaturated soil water,overland flow,surface runoff,and groundwater samples from a seasonally flooded wetland in the Momoge National Nature Reserve of the Songnen Plain,Northeast China,to identify the water sources and understand the mechanisms of unsaturated soil water movement.Unsaturated soil water content(W/W%)at every 20 cm along with a soil profile(0–100 cm)was collected during the growing season,and the HYDRUS-1D model was used to simulate temporal-spatial variations.The results showed that the local meteoric water line(δD=5.90δ18O-7.34,R2=0.95)had a smaller slope and intercept than the global meteoric water line because of strong evaporation at our study site under semi-arid climate.The groundwater was partly recharged by local precipitation via overland flow and unsaturated soil water infiltration.Unsaturated soil water was sourced from both precipitation and groundwater with variations at different depths.The upper soil layer at 0–15 cm was mainly sourced from limited precipitation,while the groundwater could move up to a 25 cm layer during the dry period.The unsaturated soil water content increased with soil depth in the top 40 cm,decreased at depths of 40 to 80 cm,and increased again at depths of 80 to 100 cm.The HYDRUS-1D model could simulate the unsaturated soil water dynamics well in the upper(0–40 cm)and lower(80–100 cm)sections,but poorly for depths of 40–80 cm due to the upward and downward flow.The bidirectional unsaturated soil water movement highlights the importance of capillary groundwater for wetland plants with similar climatic or hydrogeological conditions.Yuanchun Zou Sijian Zhang Xiaofei Yu Guobin Fu Xianguo Lu 2023Fundamental Research2023,3,6:1

11Electromagnetic modification of faceted-faceted Ni_(31)Si_(12)-Ni_2Si eutectic alloy显示文摘In an electromagnetic field, the morphology of a binary faceted-faceted (FF) Ni31Si12-Ni2Si eutectic microstructure and the alloy's mechanical properties were investigated. Hardness experiments demonstrated that the solidified ingots were significantly strengthened, and the hardness was improved to 63.1 and 786.6 on the Rockwell hardness C and Vickers hardness scales, respectively. Tests of friction and wear in stirred FF eutectic alloys showed excellent anti-fatigue and anti-adhesion wear performance. Alloy changed from an anomalous microstructure to a refined quasi-regular structure, and there was an increase in the lamellar microstructure fraction. 16Effects of surface nanostructure on boundary lubrication using molecular dynamics显示文摘Molecular dynamics simulations are used to study the boundary lubrication behaviors of squalane lubricant between two iron wall structures during shearing at different pressures and temperatures.Boundary lubrication models with a smooth iron wall and a nanostructured iron wall,respectively,are constructed,and the density distribution of the lubricating film and the velocity distribution in the shearing process are analyzed.The mechanical response of the solid wall is output,and the friction coefficient is calculated.A tribological test is performed with a UMT-2 tribometer under sliding conditions to evaluate the reliability of the simulation method.The results show that the surface nanostructure has a significant effect on the film thickness and delamination of the lubricating film but little effect on the velocity distribution of the lubricating film.The nano strip groove helps to reduce the friction coefficient of the boundary lubrication system.Ling Pan Hui Yu Shiping Lu Guobin Lin 2021Nanotechnology and Precision Engineering2021,4,3:0
