| 1 | Spinal Circuits Transmitting Mechanical Pain and Itch显示文摘In 1905, Henry Head first suggested that transmission of pain-related protopathic information can be negatively modulated by inputs from afferents sensing innocuous touch and temperature. In 1965, Melzak and Wall proposed a more concrete gate control theory of pain that highlights the interaction between unmyelinated C fibers and myelinated A fibers in pain transmission. | 2 | Activation of extrasynaptic GABA_A receptors inhibits cyclothiazideinduced epileptiform activity in hippocampal CA1 neurons显示文摘Extrasynaptic GABA_A receptors(GABA_ARs)-mediated tonic inhibition is reported to involve in the pathogenesis of epilepsy.In this study,we used cyclothiazide(CTZ)-induced in vitro brain slice seizure model to explore the effect of selective activation of extrasynaptic GABA_ARs by 4,5,6,7-tetrahydroisoxazolo[5,4-c]pyridine-3-ol(THIP)on the CTZ-induced epileptiform activity in hippocampal neurons.Perfusion with CTZ dose-dependently induced multiple epileptiform peaks of evoked population spikes(PSs)in CA1 pyramidal neurons,and treatment with THIP(5 umol/L)significantly reduced the multiple PS peaks induced by CTZ stimulation.Western blot showed that the 5-subunit of the GABA_AR,an extrasynaptic specific GABA_AR subunit,was also significantly down-regulated in the cell membrane 2h after CTZ treatment.Our results suggest that the CTZ-induced epileptiform activity in hippocampal CA1neurons is suppressed by the activation of extrasynaptic GABA_ARs,and further support the hypothesis that tonic inhibition mediated by extrasynaptic GABA_ARs plays a prominent role in seizure generation. | Li Wan Xu Liu Zheng Wu Wanting Ren Shuzhen Kong Raya Abou Dargham Longzhen Cheng Yun Wang | 2014 | Neuroscience Bulletin2014,30,5: | 3 |
| 3 | Study on Growth,Serum Biochemical and Antioxidant Enzyme Indices of Juvenile Siganus guttatus Fed with Enteromorpha prolifra and Artificial Feed显示文摘In order to provide reference for using Siganus guttatus to control overgrowth of Enteromorpha prolifra,the growth,serum biochemical and antioxidant enzyme indices of juvenile S.guttatus respectively fed with E.prolifra and artificial feed were studied.One hundred and eighty individuals were cultivated for 90 days in six 2.5 m × 1.5 m × 1.5 m cages (30 ind.per cage) which mesh size were 0.5 mm.The experimental animals were divided into two dietary groups (three cages for each group) that were fed with E.prolifra and artificial feed respectively.During the culture period,temperatures ranged from 23.0 to 26.5℃,p H was between 7.8 and 8.2,dissolved oxygen was more than 5.0 mg/L.The weight gain rate,specific growth rate,relative growth rate,hepato-somatic index of juvenile S.guttatus fed with E.prolifra were significantly lowe than that fed with artificial feed (P<0.05).The total protein (TP),urea nitrogen (UN)and alkaline phosphatase (AKP) of juvenile S.guttatus fed with E.Prolifra were significantly higher than that fed with artificial feed (P<0.05),while glutamic oxalacetic transaminase (AST/GOT) and glutamic-pyruvic transaminase (ALT/GPT) of juvenile S.guttatus fed with E.prolifra were significantly lower than that fed with artificial feed (P<0.05).SOD,GPX and anti-superoxide anion radical activity in liver,kidney,gill and muscle of juvenile S.guttatus fed with E.prolifra were higher than that fed with artificial feed,and these antioxidant enzyme activities in kidney of juvenile S.guttatus fed with E.prolifra was significantly higher than that fed with artificial feed (P<0.05),while CAT and hydroxyl radical-inhibiting activity in liver of juvenile S.guttatus fed with artificial feed were significantly higher than that fed with E.prolifra (P<0.05).Juvenile S.guttatus fed with E.prolifra showed poor growth performance but better antioxidant defense system.S.guttatus is easily raised and has stronger ability of digestion and absorption of E.Prolifra.The technique that uses S.guttatus to control E.prolifra deserves deeply study. | Song Chao Hu Chengshuo Zhang Longzhen Zhao Feng Huang Xiaorong Wang Yu Liu Jianyi | 2016 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2016,8,5: | 2 |

| 5 | Solid-state cold spraying of FeCoCrNiMn high-entropy alloy:an insight into microstructure evolution and oxidation behavior at 700-900℃显示文摘About 3 mm thick five-element equimolar high-entropy alloy(HEA) FeCoCrNiMn was successfully deposited by solid-state cold spraying(CS).The high-temperature oxidation behavior of the CSed HEA was investigated at 700-900℃.Heat treatment was performed on the CSed HEA before oxidation to heal the incomplete interfaces between the deposited particles.Results show that the microstructure of the CSed HEA is characterized by grain refinement and abundant interparticle incomplete interfaces.Post-spray heat treatment promotes recrystallization and grain growth in the CSed HEA.After oxidation testing,the oxide scales are composed of multi-layers:a Mn_(2)O_(3)(or Mn_(3)O_(4)) outer layer,a Mn-Cr spinel intermediate layer and a Cr_(2)O_(3) inner layer.The CSed HEA exhibits higher parabolic rate constants and more favorable internal oxidation than the bulk HEAs that have similar compositions in the literature.Such a discrepancy becomes pronounced at higher temperatures.The grain refinement and numerous particle boundaries are responsible for such a distinctive performance of the CSed HEA. | Yaxin Xu Weny Li Longzhen Qu Xiawei Yang Bo Song Rocco Lupoi Shuo Yin | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,9: | 2 |

When fluorescent dyes are doped into the liquid crystal and heavily doped chiral agent system,we demonstrate a wavelength tuning random laser instead of a side-band laser, which is caused by the combined effect of multi-scattering of liquid crystal(LC) and band-gap control.
