2Simulation of the spin-boson model with superconducting phase qubit coupled to a transmission line显示文摘Based on the rapid experimental developments of circuit QED,we propose a feasible scheme to simulate the spin-boson model with superconducting circuits,which can be used to detect quantum Kosterlitz-Thouless(KT) phase transition.We design the spinboson model by using a superconducting phase qubit coupled to a semi-infinite transmission line,which is regarded as a bosonic reservoir with a continuum spectrum.By tuning the bias current or the coupling capacitance,the quantum KT transition can be directly detected through tomography measurement on the states of the phase qubit.We also estimate the experimental parameters using the numerical renormalization group method.YU LongBao TONG NingHua XUE ZhengYuan WANG ZiDan ZHU ShiLiang 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,9:6

4FBG Arrays for Quasi-Distributed Sensing: A Review显示文摘Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) array is a powerful technique for quasi-distributed sensing along the entire length of sensing fiber with fast response and high precision. It has been widely used for temperature, strain, and vibration monitoring. In this review work, an overview on the recent advances of FBG arrays is conducted. Firstly, the fabrication methods of FBG array are reviewed, which include femtosecond laser system and online writing technique. Then, the demodulation techniques for FBG arrays are presented and discussed. Distributed static sensing can be performed by demodulating wavelength shift of each FBG, while phase demodulation techniques with low noise are employed for dynamic vibration sensing. Simultaneous distributed dynamic and static sensing system based on FBG array is also outlined. Finally, possible future directions are discussed and concluded. 5Quantum cloning with multicopy in d-dimensions显示文摘The explicit transformations of the 1→ 3 optimal universal quantum cloning and the optimal phase-covariant quantum cloning in d-dimensions are presented, and the dimensionalities of their ancillary systems are both d-dimensions. As d→∞ , their clone fidelities move toward 1/3, showing a classical limit for the fidelity of quantum cloning. 6Co-editing PINK1 and DJ-1 Genes Via Adeno-Associated Virus-Delivered CRISPR/Cas9 System in Adult Monkey Brain Elicits Classical Parkinsonian Phenotype显示文摘Whether direct manipulation of Parkinson’s disease(PD)risk genes in the adult monkey brain can elicit a Parkinsonian phenotype remains an unsolved issue.Here,we used an adeno-associated virus serotype 9(AAV9)-delivered CRISPR/Cas9 system to directly co-edit PINK1 and DJ-1 genes in the substantia nigras(SNs)of two monkey groups:an old group and a middle-aged group.After the operation,the old group exhibited all the classic PD symptoms,including bradykinesia,tremor,and postural instability,accompanied by key pathological hallmarks of PD,such as severe nigral dopaminergic neuron loss(>64%)and evidentα-synuclein pathology in the gene-edited SN.In contrast,the phenotype of their middle-aged counterparts,which also showed clear PD symptoms and pathological hallmarks,were less severe.In addition to the higher final total PD scores and more severe pathological changes,the old group were also more susceptible to gene editing by showing a faster process of PD progression.These results suggested that both genetic and aging factors played important roles in the development of PD in the monkeys.Taken together,this system can effectively develop a large number of genetically-edited PD monkeys in a short time(6–10 months),and thus provides a practical transgenic monkey model for future PD studies.Hao Li Shihao Wu Xia Ma Xiao Li Tianlin Cheng Zhifang Chen Jing Wu Longbao Lv Ling Li Liqi Xu Wenchao Wang Yingzhou Hu Haisong Jiang Yong Yin Zilong Qiu Xintian Hu 2021Neuroscience Bulletin2021,37,9:2

18Multicopy quantum state discrimination显示文摘In this paper, we study the problem of multicopy quantum two-state discrimination. By exploring the quantum hypothesis testing, i.e., the probabilistic quantum cloning, we derive the upper bounds of the minimal error discrimination (MED) and the optimal unambiguous discrimination (OUD), which coincides with the Helstrom theorem and the JS limit. Furthermore, when prior probabilities are unknown, we derive the minimax MED and the minimax OUD. Based on the optimal N→M probabilistic quantum cloning, we present the optimal strategies of collective measurements of the MED and the OUD.
