1Distribution of methylsiloxanes in benthic mollusks from the Chinese Bohai Sea显示文摘Methylsiloxanes are a class of silicone compounds that have been widely used in various industrial processes and personal care products for several decades. This study investigated the spatial distribution of three cyclic methylsiloxanes(D4–D6) and twelve linear methylsiloxanes(L5–L16) in mollusks collected from seven cities along the Bohai Sea. D4–D6(df = 71%–81%) and L8–L16(df = 32%–40%) were frequently detectable in the mollusk samples, while L5–L7 were not found in any mollusk samples. Cyclic methylsiloxanes(D4–D6) were found in mollusks with the mean concentrations of 15.7 ± 12.3 ng/g ww for D4,24.6 ± 15.8 ng/g ww for D5 and 34.0 ± 23.0 ng/g ww for D6. Among the seven sampling cities, the cyclic methylsiloxanes were predominant in mollusks, with the total cyclic methylsiloxanes(sum of D4–D6, ∑ CMS) accounting for 74.2%–80.7% of the total methylsiloxanes. ∑ CMS along the coastline demonstrated a clear gradient, with the highest concentrations in mollusks at the sampling sites located in the western part of the Bohai Sea and the lowest concentrations in mollusks from cities located in the eastern part of the Bohai Sea. 2Forensic investigation of 23 autosomal STRs and application in Han and Mongolia ethnic groups显示文摘A forensic validation study of the Early Access HuaxiaTM Platinum Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) kit was completed to document the performance capabilities and limitations.The genotyping of DNA samples was consistent across a large range of template DNA concentrations,with complete profiles obtained at 0.125 ng;however,no more than 2 mm× 1.2 mm punches of samples would be recommended for direct amplification.The size precision and accuracy test revealed the genotyping ability;while consistent results were obtained when comparing the kit with other commercially available systems.In addition,the whole PCR amplification can finish within approximately 45 min,making the system suitable for fastdetection.However,only partial profiles may be obtained with challenging samples,including DNA stored on Foam-Tipped Applicators (FTA) cards or some case samples.For the forensic application in ethnic groups,a total of 282 and 229 alleles were obtained in Han and Mongolia,respectively.Since the 23 short tandem repeats were independent from each other,the cumulative power of exclusion in duos was 0.999999157188 and the cumulative power of exclusion in trios was 0.999999999859 in the Han group while the cumulative power of exclusion in duos (CPEduo) was 0.999 998 848 26 and cumulative power of exclusion in trios (CPEtrio) was 0.999 999 999 79 in the Mongolia group.And good internal consistency was found between the two investigated groups and the Sichuan Han,Hui,Tibetan and Uygur according to available reference data.Xiang Sheng Yali Wang Jiashuo Zhang Liqin Chen Yuan Lin Zhenmin Zhao Chengtao Li Suhua Zhang 2018Forensic Sciences Research2018,3,2:4
3Development of Trusted Network and Challenges It Faces显示文摘As the information network plays a more and more important role globally, the traditional network theories and technologies, especially those related to network security, can no longer meet the network development requirements. Offering the system with secure and trusted services has become a new focus in network research. This paper first discusses the meaning of and aspects involved in the trusted network. According to this paper, the trusted network should be a network where the network's and users' behaviors and their results are always predicted and manageable. The trustworthiness of a network mainly involves three aspects: service provider, information transmission and terminal user. 4Two Ultraviolet Radiation Datasets that Cover China显示文摘Ultraviolet(UV) radiation has significant effects on ecosystems, environments, and human health, as well as atmospheric processes and climate change. Two ultraviolet radiation datasets are described in this paper. One contains hourly observations of UV radiation measured at 40 Chinese Ecosystem Research Network stations from 2005 to 2015. CUV3 broadband radiometers were used to observe the UV radiation, with an accuracy of 5%, which meets the World Meteorology Organization's measurement standards. The extremum method was used to control the quality of the measured datasets. The other dataset contains daily cumulative UV radiation estimates that were calculated using an all-sky estimation model combined with a hybrid model. The reconstructed daily UV radiation data span from 1961 to 2014. The mean absolute bias error and root-mean-square error are smaller than 30% at most stations, and most of the mean bias error values are negative, which indicates underestimation of the UV radiation intensity. These datasets can improve our basic knowledge of the spatial and temporal variations in UV radiation. 9Construction of one dimensional ZnWO4@SnWO4 core-shell heterostructure for boosted photocatalytic performance显示文摘The one-dimensional ZnWO4@SnWO4 photocatalyst with a core-shell heterostructure was successfully constructed by a simple two-step method. It is interesting to note that ZnWO4@SnWO4 composite photocatalyst owns a higher photocatalytic activity for Rh B degradation under visible light irradiation. The introduction of SnWO4 shell layer, which forms a clear heterogenous interface between ZnWO4 and SnWO4, increases the photo-absorption efficiency of ZnWO4 nanorods. In addition, its band-edge absorption evidently shifts toward the visible region. Based on the photoelectrochemical(PEC) and electron spin resonance(ESR) measurements, it is found that the photocatalytic activity was attributed to the efficient separation and transfer of photo-generated charge carriers. 16Insights into in-situ TiB/dual-phase Ti alloy interface and its high load-bearing capacity显示文摘To better understand the strengthening mechanism of in-situ formed TiB reinforcements in dual-phase Ti6 Al4 V alloy,the interface characters and properties ofα-Ti/β-Ti/TiB system were thoroughly investigated with the combined use of high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),abinitio calculations,and indentation tests.The ab-initio calculations suggest that the highly coherent(100)_(TiB)/(121)_(β-Ti)phase boundary(PB)has fairly low interface energy of 0.082 J/m^(2)with an exceptionally high adhesion strength of 6.04 J/m^(2),owing to the formation of strong interfacial Ti–B ionic bonds.The semi-coherent(201)_(TiB)/(0001)_(α-Ti)interface shows a relatively higher interface energy of 1.442 J/m^(2)but still with a fairly high adhesion strength of 4.95 J/m^(2).With the obtained interfacial energetics,thermodynamics analyses were further carried out to explore the nucleation mechanism ofα-Ti in TiB reinforced Ti6Al4V composite.Superior to the heterogeneous nucleation at TiB/β-Ti interface,the homogeneous nucleation ofα-Ti within theβ-Ti phase can be more energy-preferred,due to its lower nucleation energy barrier and critical radius.Further indentation tests under various loads of different modes confirmed a remarkably enhanced load-bearing capacity of dual-phase Ti6Al4V alloys,under the critical significance of the strong interfacial bonding achieved by reinforcements of in-situ formed TiB.Qi An Lujun Huang Qi Qian Yong Jiang Shuai Wang Rui Zhang Lin Geng Liqin Wang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,24:0

18Multi-frequency magnetic resonance elastography of the pancreas:measurement reproducibility and variance among healthy volunteers显示文摘Background Patients with chronic pancreatitis often have irreversible pancreatic insufficiency before a clinical diagnosis.Pancreatic cancer is a fatal malignant tumor in the advanced stages.Patients having high risk of pancreatic diseases must be screened early to obtain better outcomes using new imaging modalities.Therefore,this study aimed to investigate the reproducibility of tomoelastography measurements for assessing pancreatic stiffness and fluidity and the variance among healthy volunteers.Methods Forty-seven healthy volunteers were prospectively enrolled and underwent two tomoelastography examinations at a mean interval of 7 days.Two radiologists blindly and independently measured the pancreatic stiffness and fluidity at the first examination to determine the reproducibility between readers.One radiologist measured the adjacent pancreatic slice at the first examination to determine the reproducibility among slices and measured the pancreas at the second examination to determine short-termrepeatability.The stiffness and fluidity of the pancreatic head,body,and tail were compared to determine anatomical differences.The pancreatic stiffness and fluidity were compared based on sex,age,and body mass index(BMI).Results Bland–Altman analyses(all P>0.05)and intraclass correlation coefficients(all>0.9)indicated near perfect reproducibility among readers,slices,and examinations at short intervals.Neither stiffness(P=0.477)nor fluidity(P=0.368)differed among the pancreatic anatomical regions.The mean pancreatic stiffness was 1.45±0.09 m/s;the mean pancreatic fluidity was 0.83±0.06 rad.Stiffness and fluidity did not differ by sex,age,or BMI.Conclusion Tomoelastography is a promising and reproducible tool for assessing pancreatic stiffness and fluidity in healthy volunteers.Si-Ya Shi Liqin Wang Zhenpeng Peng Yangdi Wang Zhi Lin Xuefang Hu Jiaxin Yuan Li Huang Shi-Ting Feng Yanji Luo 2022Gastroenterology Report2022,10,1:0

20Semen extracellular vesicles mediate vertical transmission of subgroup J avian leukosis virus显示文摘Subgroup J avian leukosis virus(ALV-J) is a highly oncogenic retrovirus that has been devastating the global poultry industry since the late 1990s. The major infection model of ALV-J is vertical transmission, which is responsible for the congenital infection of progeny from generation to generation. Increasing evidence has suggested that extracellular vesicles(EVs) derived from virus-infected cells or biological fluids have been thought to be vehicles of transmission for viruses. However, the role of EVs in infection and transmission of ALV-J remains obscure. In the present study, semen extracellular vesicles(SE) were isolated and purified from ALV-J-infected rooster seminal plasma(SE-ALV-J), which was shown to contain ALV-J genomic RNA and partial viral proteins, as determined by RNA sequencing, reverse transcription-quantitative PCR and Western blotting. Furthermore, SE-ALV-J was proved to be able to transmit ALV-J infection to host cells and establish productive infection.More importantly, artificial insemination experiments showed that SE-ALV-J transmitted ALV-J infection to SPF hens, and subsequently mediated vertical transmission of ALV-J from the SPF hens to the progeny chicks.
