1Analysis of genetic architecture and favorable allele usage of agronomic traits in a large collection of Chinese rice accessions显示文摘Genotyping and phenotyping large natural populations provide opportunities for population genomic analysis and genome-wide association studies(GWAS). Several rice populations have been re-sequenced in the past decade;however, many major Chinese rice cultivars were not included in these studies. Here, we report large-scale genomic and phenotypic datasets for a collection mainly comprised of 1,275 rice accessions of widely planted cultivars and parental hybrid rice lines from China. The population was divided into three indica/Xian and three japonica/Geng phylogenetic subgroups that correlate strongly with their geographic or breeding origins. We acquired a total of 146 phenotypic datasets for 29 agronomic traits under multi-environments for different subpopulations. With GWAS, we identified a total of 143 significant association loci, including three newly identified candidate genes or alleles that control heading date or amylose content. Our genotypic analysis of agronomically important genes in the population revealed that many favorable alleles are underused in elite accessions, suggesting they may be used to provide improvements in future breeding efforts. 2Processes of dike-break induced flows:A combined experimental and numerical model study显示文摘Dike breaking is a disaster that could cause extensive damage. It could lead to flood flows outside the dike and induce water level fluctuations in the main channel. Numerical models are increasingly used to simulate flood flows due to dike-break, because direct observations from field surveys and physical models are rather limited. Existing knowledge concerning dam-break flows cannot be applied directly to dike-break flows because the effect of channel discharge cannot be neglected in the latter. In this study,physical experiments are done in a large laboratory flume to simulate the process of dike-break induced flood wave propagation in the floodplain and flow fluctuations in the main channel. The variations of water levels and velocities are measured and recorded using an array of pressure sensors and two acoustic Doppler velocimetry devices. A numerical model has been set up according to the experimental layout. The experiments have high repeatability and the numerical model predictions agree closely with the physical model data. 4Erianin suppresses constitutive activation of MAPK signaling pathway by inhibition of CRAF and MEK1/2显示文摘Constitutive activation of RAS-RAF-MEK-ERK signaling pathway(MAPK pathway)frequently occurs in many cancers harboring RAS or RAF oncogenic mutations.Because of the paradoxical activation induced by a single use of BRAF or MEK inhibitors,dual-target RAF and MEK treatment is thought to be a promising strategy.In this work,we evaluated erianin is a novel inhibitor of CRAF and MEK1/2 kinases,thus suppressing constitutive activation of the MAPK signaling pathway induced by BRAF V600E or RAS mutations.KinaseProfiler enzyme profiling,surface plasmon resonance(SPR),isothermal titration calorimetry(ITC),cellular thermal shift assay,computational docking,and molecular dynamics simulations were utilized to screen and identify erianin binding to CRAF and MEK1/2.Kinase assay,luminescent ADP detection assay,and enzyme kinetics assay were investigated to identify the efficiency of erianin in CRAF and MEK1/2 kinase activity.Notably,erianin suppressed BRAF V600E or RAS mutant melanoma and colorectal cancer cell by inhibiting MEK1/2 and CRAF but not BRAF kinase activity.Moreover,erianin attenuated melanoma and colorectal cancer in vivo.Overall,we provide a promising leading compound for BRAF V600E or RAS mutant melanoma and colorectal cancer through dual targeting of CRAF and MEK1/2.Penglei Wang Xuechao Jia Bingbing Lu Han Huang Jialin Liu Xuejiao Liu Qiong Wu Yamei Hu Pan Li Huifang Wei Tingting Liu Dengyun Zhao Lingwei Zhang Xueli Tian Yanan Jiang Yan Qiao Wenna Nie Xinli Ma Ruihua Bai Cong Peng Zigang Dong Kangdong Liu 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4:1
5The phosphorescence nanocomposite thin film with rich oxygen vacancy:Towards sensitive oxygen sensor显示文摘Organic room temperature phosphorescent(ORTP)materials provide an exciting research direction for phosphorescent oxygen(O_(2)) sensors due to their high sensitivity and rapid response to O_(2).However,most pure ORTP materials are tightly-packed aromatic compound crystals in a face-to-face manner,which largely prohibits effective O_(2) diffusion for sensing.Thus,how to solve this contradiction still faces huge challenges.Here,the use of organic phosphorescent indicator carbon dots(CDs),inorganic matrix layered double hydroxides(LDHs)and polymers(PVA)successfully prepared an ultra-long RTP composite film whose phosphorescence decay intensity is linearly related to O_(2) concentration.More importantly,the use of the abundant O_(2) defects(Vo)on the surface of the inorganic matrix LDHs to adsorb O_(2),which further accelerates the phosphorescence quenching of the thin film and improves the O_(2) response.This strategy will provide the possibility to develop high-sensitivity phosphorescent O_(2) sensors from a new perspective.Jian Yao Jian Kong Lingwei Kong Xinrui Wang Wenying Shi Chao Lu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8:0
6Diversity and Innovation: Progress and Exploration of Domestic Art Movies in 2016显示文摘One defining feature of domestic movies in 2016 is the outstanding performance made by art movies. In general, these art movies improved the overall quality of Chinese movies and the aesthetic appreciation of Chinese viewers. While highlighting the values of art and thought amid the commercial or entertainment movies, the art movies aroused public concern for domestic movies. Domestic art movies in 2016 are characterized by a close link between their art form and avant–garde style and their realist approach, affinity to the people and thought–provoking insight. Such characteristics enabled them to make new contributions to the development of realism. Some exhibited the producers' relentless exploration and pursuit of innovation, vividly demonstrating the diversity of contemporary art movies. For example, some delivered an impressive modern interpretation of traditional Chinese aesthetic philosophy–'the extraordinary lies in the ordinary;'some had a novel camera expression and unique space–time composition; some established an in–depth connection between laughter and critical thinking by combining comic and tragic elements; some rendered innovative presentations by integrating modern style with ethnic culture; and some adopted ideographic means to enhance the significance of art movies. At present, however, Chinese art movies still lack a grand spiritual vision, with their themes to be further enriched and their concepts and expressions to be better integrated. 7Unlocking the charge doping effect in softly intercalated ultrathin ferromagnetic superlattice显示文摘The electrolyte-assisted exfoliation strategy is widely employed to synthesize ultrathin two-dimensional(2D)materials.Yet,spins in 2D magnets are susceptible to the electrolyte due to the underlying charge doping effect.Hence,it is crucial to understand and trace the doping process during the delamination of 2D magnets.Taking the prototype Fe_(3)GeTe_(2),we utilized soft organic cations to exfoliate the bulk and obtain a freestanding organ-ic–inorganic hybrid superlattice with a giant electron doping effect as high as 6.9×10^(14)/cm^(2)(~1.15 electrons per formula unit).A remarkable ferromagnetic transition exceeding 385 K was revealed in these superlattices,together with unique anisotropic saturation magnetization.The doping enhanced the in-plane electron–phonon coupling and thus optimized originally poor indirect double-exchange scenario for spin electrons.The emerging vertical magnetization shift phenomenon served to evaluate the uniformity of charge doping.The above findings provide a new perspective for understanding the role of parasitic charge in 2D magnetism.Liang Hu Bingzhang Yang Zhipeng Hou Yangfan Lu Weitao Su Lingwei Li 2023eScience2023,3,3:0
8SrTiO_(3)-CaCr_(0.5)Nb_(0.5)O_(3) solid solutions as p-type photocatalysts for Z-scheme water splitting under visible light illumination显示文摘P-type semiconductivity has been observed in solid solution series(SrTiO_(3))_(1-x)(CaCr_(0.5)Nb_(0.5)O_(3))x(0.0≤x≤0.15),which all adopt cubic symmetry and own intense absorption in the visible light region.These solid solutions are superior H2 evolution photocatalysts under visible light illumination(λ≥400 nm).An AQE as high as 1.02%at 420±20 nm has been achieved at optimal composition(SrTiO_(3))_(0.85)(CaCr_(0.5)Nb_(0.5)O_(3))0.15 which significantly surpasses the parent compounds.Stoichiometric H_(2)/O_(2) production under visible light illumination has been successfully realized using Z-scheme system containing(SrTiO_(3))_(0.85)(CaCr_(0.5) Nb_(0.5) O_(3))_(0.15),WO_(3) and I^(-)/IO_(3)^(-)redox couple.Zeming Gu Qi Wang Xiaoqin Sun Lingwei Lu Yuwei Zhang Ran Wang Shu Jin Yinlin Shao Jun Qian Xiaoxiang Xu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,28:0
