| 1 | The Reference Genome of Tea Plant and Resequencing of 81 Diverse Accessions Provide Insights into Its Genome Evolution and Adaptation显示文摘Tea plant is an important economic crop,which is used to produce the world's oldest and most widely consumed tea beverages.Here,we present a high-quality reference genome assembly of the tea plant(Camellia sinensis var.sinensis)consisting of 15 pseudo-chromosomes.LTR retrotransposons(LTR-RTs)account for 70.38%of the genome,and we present evidence that LTR-RTS play critical roles in genome size expansion and the transcriptional diversification of tea plant genes through preferential insertion in promoter regions and introns.Genes,particularly those coding for terpene biosynthesis pro-teins,associated with tea aroma and stress resistance were significantly amplified through recent tandem duplications and exist as gene clusters in tea plant genome.Phylogenetic analysis of the sequences of 81 tea plant accessions with diverse origins revealed three well-differentiated tea plant populations,support-ing the proposition for the southwest origin of the Chinese cultivated tea plant and its later spread to western Asia through introduction.Domestication and modern breeding left significant signatures on hundreds of genes in the tea plant genome,particularly those associated with tea quality and stress resis-tance.The genomic sequences of the reported reference and resequenced tea plant accessions provide valuable resources for future functional genomics study and molecular breeding of improved cul-tivars of tea plants. | Enhua Xia Wei Tong Yan Hou Yanlin An Linbo Chen Qiong Wu Yunlong Liu Jie Yu Fangdong Li Ruopei Li Penghui Li Huijuan Zhao Ruoheng Ge Jin Huang Ali Inayat Mallano Yanrui Zhang Shengrui Liu Weiwei Deng Chuankui Song Zhaoliang Zhang Jian Zhao Shu Wei Zhengzhu Zhang Tao Xia Chaoling Wei Xiaochun Wan | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,7: | 51 |
| 2 | Multi-scale object detection by top-down and bottom-up feature pyramid network显示文摘While moving ahead with the object detection technology, especially deep neural networks, many related tasks, such as medical application and industrial automation, have achieved great success. However, the detection of objects with multiple aspect ratios and scales is still a key problem. This paper proposes a top-down and bottom-up feature pyramid network(TDBU-FPN),which combines multi-scale feature representation and anchor generation at multiple aspect ratios. First, in order to build the multi-scale feature map, this paper puts a number of fully convolutional layers after the backbone. Second, to link neighboring feature maps, top-down and bottom-up flows are adopted to introduce context information via top-down flow and supplement suboriginal information via bottom-up flow. The top-down flow refers to the deconvolution procedure, and the bottom-up flow refers to the pooling procedure. Third, the problem of adapting different object aspect ratios is tackled via many anchor shapes with different aspect ratios on each multi-scale feature map. | 3 | Virtual reality-based rehabilitation in patients following total knee arthroplasty:a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘Background:Physical therapy is regarded as an essential aspect in achieving optimal outcomes following total knee arthroplasty(TKA).The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has made face-to-face rehabilitation inaccessible.Virtual reality(VR)is increasingly regarded as a potentially effective option for offering health care interventions.This systematic review and meta-analysis investigate VR-based rehabilitation's effectiveness on outcomes following TKA.Methods:From inception to May 22,2021,PubMed/Medline,Embase,Web of Science,the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials,Scopus,PsycINFO,Physiotherapy Evidence Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,and Wanfang were comprehensively searched to identify randomized controlled trials(RCTs)evaluating the effect of VR-based rehabilitation on patients following TKA according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses statement and the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions.Results:Eight studies were included in the systematic review,and seven studies were included in the meta-analysis.VR-based rehabilitation significantly improved visual analog scale(VAS)scores within 1 month(standardized mean difference[SMD]:−0.44;95%confidence interval[CI]:−0.79 to−0.08,P=0.02),the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC)within 1 month(SMD:−0.71;95%CI:−1.03 to−0.40,P<0.01),and the Hospital for Special Surgery Knee Score(HSS)within 1 month and between 2 months and 3 months(MD:7.62;95%CI:5.77 to 9.47,P<0.01;MD:10.15;95%CI:8.03 to 12.27,P<0.01;respectively)following TKA compared to conventional rehabilitation.No significant difference was found in terms of the Timed Up and Go(TUG)test.Conclusions:VR-based rehabilitation improved pain and function but not postural control following TKA compared to conventional rehabilitation.More high-quality RCTs are needed to prove the advantage of VR-based rehabilitation.As the COVID-19 pandemic continues,it is necessary to promote this rehabilitation model. | Linbo Peng Yi Zeng Yuangang Wu Haibo Si Bin Shen | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,2: | 5 |
| 4 | Penumbral imaging and numerical evaluation of large area source neutron imaging system显示文摘The fusion neutron penumbral imaging system Monte Carlo model was established. The transfer functions of the two discrete units in the neutron source were obtained in two situations:Imaging in geometrical near-optical and real situation. The spatial resolutions of the imaging system in two situations were evaluated and compared. The penumbral images of four units in the source were obtained by means of 2-dimensional (2D) convolution and Monte Carlo simulation. The penumbral images were reconstructed with the same method of filter. The same results were confirmed. The encoding essence of penumbral imaging was revealed. With MCNP(Monte Carlo N-particle) simulation,the neutron penumbral images of the large area source (200 μm×200 μm) on scintillation fiber array were obtained. The improved Wiener filter method was used to reconstruct the penumbral image and the source image was obtained. The results agree with the preset neutron source image. | 5 | Cycle-by-Cycle Queue Length Estimation for Signalized Intersections Using Multi-Source Data显示文摘In order to estimate vehicular queue length at signalized intersections accurately and overcome the shortcomings and restrictions of existing studies especially those based on shockwave theory,a new methodology is presented for estimating vehicular queue length using data from both point detectors and probe vehicles. The methodology applies the shockwave theory to model queue evolution over time and space. Using probe vehicle locations and times as well as point detector measured traffic states,analytical formulations for calculating the maximum and minimum( residual) queue length are developed. The proposed methodology is verified using ground truth data collected from numerical experiments conducted in Shanghai,China. It is found that the methodology has a mean absolute percentage error of 17. 09%,which is reasonably effective in estimating the queue length at traffic signalized intersections.
