| 1 | N‑Doped Graphene‑Decorated NiCo Alloy Coupled with Mesoporous NiCoMoO Nano‑sheet Heterojunction for Enhanced Water Electrolysis Activity at High Current Density显示文摘Developing highly effective and stable non-noble metalbased bifunctional catalyst working at high current density is an urgent issue for water electrolysis(WE).Herein,we prepare the N-doped graphene-decorated NiCo alloy coupled with mesoporous NiCoMoO nano-sheet grown on 3D nickel foam(NiCo@C-NiCoMoO/NF)for water splitting.NiCo@C-NiCoMoO/NF exhibits outstanding activity with low overpotentials for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reaction(HER:39/266 mV;OER:260/390 mV)at±10 and±1000 mA cm^(−2).More importantly,in 6.0 M KOH solution at 60℃ for WE,it only requires 1.90 V to reach 1000 mA cm−2 and shows excellent stability for 43 h,exhibiting the potential for actual application.The good performance can be assigned to N-doped graphene-decorated NiCo alloy and mesoporous NiCoMoO nano-sheet,which not only increase the intrinsic activity and expose abundant catalytic activity sites,but also enhance its chemical and mechanical stability.This work thus could provide a promising material for industrial hydrogen production. | Guangfu Qian Jinli Chen Tianqi Yu Lin Luo Shibin Yin | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,5: | 7 |
| 2 | Three-Phase Heterojunction NiMo-Based Nano-Needle for Water Splitting at Industrial Alkaline Condition显示文摘Constructing heterojunction is an effective strategy to develop high-performance non-preciousmetal-based catalysts for electrochemical water splitting(WS).Herein,we design and prepare an N-doped-carbon-encapsulated Ni/MoO_(2) nano-needle with three-phase heterojunction(Ni/MoO_(2)@CN)for accelerating the WS under industrial alkaline condition.Density functional theory calculations reveal that the electrons are redistributed at the three-phase heterojunction interface,which optimizes the adsorption energy of H-and O-containing intermediates to obtain the best ΔG_(H*) for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and decrease the ΔG value of ratedetermining step for oxygen evolution reaction(OER),thus enhancing the HER/OER catalytic activity.Electrochemical results confirm that Ni/MoO_(2)@CN exhibits good activity for HER(ƞ_(-10)=33 mV,ƞ_(-1000)=267 mV)and OER(ƞ_(10)=250 mV,ƞ_(1000)=420 mV).It shows a low potential of 1.86 V at 1000 mA cm^(−2) for WS in 6.0 M KOH solution at 60℃ and can steadily operate for 330 h.This good HER/OER performance can be attributed to the three-phase heterojunction with high intrinsic activity and the self-supporting nano-needle with more active sites,faster mass diffusion,and bubbles release.This work provides a unique idea for designing high efficiency catalytic materials for WS. | Guangfu Qian Jinli Chen Tianqi Yu Jiacheng Liu Lin Luo Shibin Yin | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,1: | 4 |
| 3 | Comparative Study of the Disinfection Effects of Three Types of Conjunctiva Sac Irrigations显示文摘Purpose:The antiseptic effectiveness of 5% anerdian Ⅲ, 0.016% gentamicin,and 0.5% tobramycin solutions in pre-surgical irrigation of conjunctival sac were compared. Methods:A total of 295 cataract patients (302 eyes) who had undergone phacoemulsification aspiration combined with intraocular lens insertion. (IOL).were recruited in this prospective study.Operative eyes were given 0.3% levofloxacin eye drops for 3 days and then were randomized into three treatment groups:anerdian. (A), gentamicin (B) and tobramycin (C).The patients received conjunctival sac irrigation using the respective solutions at 10 minutes preoperatively.Conjunctival sac sampling was performed before and after irrigation and the samples were used for subsequent bacterial culture and swab tests. The positive culture rate was used as the main outcome. Results:The positive rates of bacterial culture before conjunctival sac irrigationwere 17.31% (18 eyes) in group A, 13.86% (14 eyes) in group B and 17.3% (14 eyes) in group C.Post irrigation,the positive rates in the three groups decreased to 5.76% . (6 eyes),5.94% . (6 eyes) and 7.22% (7 eyes), respectively. The positive rates among the three groups did not differ significantly.However,the positive rate in group A only significantly differed before and after the irrigation (P<0.05). No toxic or allergic reactions were observed on the ocular surface of any patient after irrigation. | 4 | Enhancement of oxygen reduction activity and stability via introducing acid-resistant refractory Mo and regulating the near-surface Pt content显示文摘Although Pt Ni catalyst possesses good oxygen reduction activity, its poor stability is the main obstacle for the commercialization of proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs). In this work, we introduce the acid-resistant refractory Mo to enhance the structure stability and modify the electronic structure of Pt in the prepared PtNi catalyst, improving the catalytic activity for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR). In addition, near-surface Pt content in the nanoparticle is also optimized to balance the ORR activity and stability. The electrochemical results show that the alloy formed by Mo and Pt Ni is obviously more stable than the PtNi alloy alone, because the acid-resistant Mo and its oxides effectively prevent the dissolution of Pt. Especially, the Pt3 Ni3 MoN/C exhibits the optimal ORR catalytic performance in O2-saturated 0.1 mol L^(-1) HClO4 aqueous solutions, with mass activity(MA) of 900 m A mg^(-1) Pt at 0.90 V vs. RHE, which is 3.75 times enhancement compared with the commercial Pt/C(240 mA mg^(-1) Pt). After 30 k accelerated durability tests, its MA(690 m A mg^(-1) Pt) is still 2.88 times higher than the pristine Pt/C. | 7 | Prevalence of intermittent exotropia among primary and secondary school students in Shantou,China显示文摘Background: Few prevalence studies on intermittent exotropia(IXT) based on Chinese populations. Furthermore, longitudinal change in this pattern within a local setting has not been reported in the past. This study aims to determine the profile of children with IXT in China.Methods: A total of 7,537 subjects from nine multi-layer primary and secondary schools participated in this investigation. The position of eyes was examined by using Hirschberg test and alternate cover test. The obtained results were classified according to respective features and analyzed statistically. Results: The prevalence of IXT among the participants was 7.98%, accounting for 73.04% of all types of strabismus. Junior high school students had a lower prevalence of IXT than elementary and senior high school counterparts. Logistic regression analysis showed that IXT was mainly found in male pupils at high grades in rural areas and in male secondary students at high grade in urban regions. Conclusions: IXT was shown to be more prevalent than other types of strabismus in Chinese children. Methods: Case report Results:A male patient aged 48 years had ghost for 1 year after acoustic neuroma resection.The patient was diagnosed with rectus paresis in the right eye. He successfully underwent medial rectus recession combined with pterygium resection. A corneoscleral dellen with a size of 2 ×2 mm was observed at 20 d postoperatively. The thinnest cornea was 147 um, diagnosed as corneoscleral dellen, which was cured after undergoing corneal limbal stem cell transplantation with conjunctival flap. Conclusion:Corneoscleral dellen is noninfectious corneoscleral ulcer caused by complex reasons.Most cases recovered by using artificial tears,antibiotic ointment and eye wrap,and other patients required corneal limbal stem cell transplantation with conjunctival flap, even keratoplasty. | 15 | A fault prediction method for catenary of high-speed rails based on meteorological conditions显示文摘Fault frequency of catenary is related to meteo-rological conditions. In this work, based on the historical data, catenary fault frequency and weather-related fault rate are introduced to analyse the correlation between catenary faults and meteorological conditions, and further the effect of meteorological conditions on catenary oper-ation. Moreover, machine learning is used for catenary fault prediction. As with the single decision tree, only a small number of training samples can be classified cor-rectly by each weak classifier, the AdaBoost algorithm is adopted to adjust the weights of misclassified samples and weak classifiers, and train multiple weak classifiers. Finally, the weak classifiers are combined to construct a strong classifier, with which the final prediction result is obtained. In order to validate the prediction method, an example is provided based on the historical data from a railway bureau of China. The result shows that the mapping relation between meteorological conditions and catenary faults can be established accurately by AdaBoost algorithm. | 16 | Highly active bifunctional catalyst: Constructing FeWO_(4)-WO_(3) heterostructure for water and hydrazine oxidation at large current density显示文摘Developing high performance anode catalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrazine oxidation reaction (HzOR) at large current density is an efficient pathway to produce hydrogen. Herein, we synthesize a FeWO_(4)-WO_(3) heterostructure catalyst growing on nickel foam (FeWO_(4)-WO_(3)/NF) by a combination of hydrothermal and calcination method. It shows good catalytic activity with ultralow potentials for OER (ζ_(10) = 1.43 V, ζ_(1.000) = 1.56 V) and HzOR (ζ_(10) = −0.034 V, ζ_(1.000) = 0.164 V). Moreover, there is little performance degradation after being tested for _(10)0 h at 1,000 (OER) and _(10)0 (HzOR) mA·cm−2, indicating good stability. The superior performance could be attributed to the wolframite structure and heterostructure: The former provides a high electrical conductivity to ensure the electronic transfer capability, and the later induces interfacial electron redistribution to enhance the intrinsic activity and stability. | 17 | Corneal Biomechanical Properties and Associated Factors in School-age Children显示文摘Purpose: To study and analyze the correlation among corneal biomechanical properties and associated factors including central corneal thickness (CCT), corneal curvature (CT), and intraocular pressure (IOP) in school-age children. Methods:A cross sectional investigation was conducted. An ocular response analyzer was utilized to assess the corneal biomechanical properties,such as corneal hysteresis and corneal resistance factors, in children of school age. Multivariate regression analysis was used to investigate the relationship between corneal biomechanical properties and other ocular parameters including CCT, corneal curvature (k1 and k2), and IOP. The right eyes of all subjects were selected for statistical analysis. Results: A total of 571 children were enrolled: 303 male and 268 female,with an average age of 10.47 ±1.0 years. The mean value of corneal hysteresis was 10.98 ±1.78 mmHg, corneal resistance factor was 11.46±1.69 mmHg,and CCT was 556.01±28.97 μm. Conclusion:The feasibility of corneal biomechanical detection in school age children was validated. This study provides fundamental data on corneal biomechanical properties in school-age children and associated factors.
