1A review on tribology of polymer composite coatings显示文摘Self-lubricating polymer composite coatings,with tailorable tribological and mechanical properties,have been widely employed on mechanical parts to reduce friction and wear,which saves energy and improves the overall performance for applications such as aerospace satellite parts,shafts,gears,and bushings.The addition of functional fillers can overcome the limitations of single-polymer coatings and extend the service life of the coatings by providing a combination of low friction,high wear resistance,high load bearing,high temperature resistance,and high adhesion.This paper compares the heat resistance,and the tribological and mechanical properties of common polymer matrices,as well as the categories of functional fillers that improve the coating performance.Applicable scopes,process parameters,advantages,and limitations of the preparation methods of polymer coatings are discussed in detail.The tribological properties of the composite coatings with different matrices and fillers are compared,and the lubrication mechanisms are analyzed.Fillers reduce friction by promoting the formation of transfer films or liquid shear films.Improvement of the mechanical properties of the composite coatings with fillers of different morphologies is described in terms of strengthening and toughening mechanisms,including a stress transfer mechanism,shear yielding,crack bridging,and interfacial debonding.The test and enhancement methods for the adhesion properties between the coating and substrate are discussed.The coating adhesion can be enhanced through mechanical treatment,chemical treatment,and energy treatment of the substrate.Finally,we propose the design strategies for high-performance polymer composite coating systems adapted to specific operating conditions,and the limitations of current polymer composite coating research are identified.Yilong REN Lin ZHANG Guoxin XIE Zhanbo LI Hao CHEN Hanjun GONG Wenhu XU Dan GUO Jianbin LUO 2021Friction2021,9,3:13

3Mechanical and tribological properties of nanocomposites incorporated with two-dimensional materials显示文摘In recent years, attempts to improve the mechanical properties of composites have increased remarkably owing to the inadequate utilization of matrices in demanding technological systems where efficiency, durability, and environmental compatibility are the key requirements. The search for novel materials that can potentially have enhanced mechanical properties continues. Recent studies have demonstrated that two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials can act as excellent reinforcements because they possess high modulus of elasticity, high strength, and ultralow friction. By incorporating 2D nanomaterials in a composite, 2D nanomaterial-based composites (2DNBCs) have been developed. In view of this, a critical review of recent mechanical and tribological studies based on 2DNBCs has been undertaken. Matrices such as polymers, ceramics, and metals, as well as most of the representative 2D nanomaterial reinforcements such as graphene, boron nitride (BN), molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), and transition metal carbides and nitrides (MXenes) have been included in this review. Their preparation strategies, intrinsic mechanical properties, friction and lubrication performances, strengthening mechanisms, influencing factors, and potential applications have been comprehensively discussed. 4L_p shape deformation显示文摘Shape deformation is a fundamental tool in geometric modeling.Existing methods consider preserving local details by minimizing some energy functional measuring local distortions in the L 2 norm.This strategy distributes distortions quite uniformly to all the vertices and penalizes outliers.However,there is no unique answer for a natural deformation as it depends on the nature of the objects.Inspired by recent sparse signal reconstruction work with non L 2 norm,we introduce general L p norms to shape deformation;the positive parameter p provides the user with a flexible control over the distribution of unavoidable distortions.Compared with the traditional L 2 norm,using smaller p,distortions tend to be distributed to a sparse set of vertices,typically in feature regions,thus making most areas less distorted and structures better preserved.On the other hand,using larger p tends to distribute distortions more evenly across the whole model.This flexibility is often desirable as it mimics objects made up with different materials.By specifying varying p over the shape,more flexible control can be achieved.We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm with various examples.GAO Lin ZHANG GuoXin LAI YuKun 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,5:3
5Ultralow friction polymer composites incorporated with mono-dispersed oil microcapsules显示文摘Ultralow friction polymer composites were prepared by adding oil-loaded microcapsules into epoxy(EP)resin.Mono-dispersed polystyrene(PS)/poly alpha olefin(PAO)microcapsules with a diameter of~2μm and a shell thickness of~30 nm were prepared by solvent evaporation method in an oil-in-water emulsion.The lubrication behaviors of the EP resin composites with oil-loaded microcapsules have been investigated under different loads and sliding speeds.As compared with the pure EP resin,the friction coefficient of the composite could be reduced to 4%(from 0.71 to 0.028)and the wear rate could be decreased up to two orders of magnitude.It was demonstrated that the released PAO oil from the microcapsules during the friction process produced a boundary lubricating film,which could prevent the direct contact of two rubbing surfaces,and thus leading to an extremely low friction coefficient and wear rate.Moreover,the composites with microcapsules could achieve comparable lubrication properties to the case under the external lubrication condition,while the former case could effectively minimize the lubricant leakage and improve the lubrication efficiency.Lin ZHANG Guoxin XIE Shuai WU Shiguang PENG Xiaoqing ZHANG Dan GUO Shizhu WEN Jianbin LUO 2021Friction2021,9,1:3
6Impact of diabetes on prognosis of gastric cancer patients performed with gastrectomy显示文摘Objective: This study aimed to determine the impact of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2 DM) on clinical outcomes of gastric cancer(GC) patients and explore whether metformin use and good glycemic control could reverse it.Methods: Clinicopathologic data of consecutive GC patients who underwent gastrectomy at Nanfang Hospital between October 2004 and December 2015 were included. Propensity score matching(PSM) was performed to balance the important factors of the disease status between non-T2 DM and T2 DM group. The last follow-up time was January 2019.Results: A total of 1,692 eligible patients(1,621 non-T2 DM vs. 71 T2 DM) were included. After PSM, nonT2 DM group(n=139) and T2 DM group(n=71) were more balanced in baseline variables. The 5-year cancerspecific survival(CSS) rate in T2 DM group(47.0%) was inferior to that in non-T2 DM group(58.0%), but did not reach statistical significance [hazard ratio(HR)=1.319, 95% confidence interval(95% CI): 0.868-2.005, P=0.192].While the 5-year progress-free survival(PFS) rate of T2 DM group(40.6%) is significantly worse than that in nonT2 DM group(56.3%)(HR=1.516, 95% CI: 1.004-2.290, P=0.045). Univariate and multivariate analyses showed that T2 DM was an independent risk factor for PFS but not for CSS. In T2 DM group, metformin use subgroup was associated with superior 5-year CSS and PFS in compared with non-metformin use subgroup, although the difference was not statistically significant(5-year CSS: 48.0% vs. 45.4%, HR=0.680, 95% CI: 0.352-1.313,P=0.246;5-year PFS: 43.5% vs. 35.7%, HR=0.763, 95% CI: 0.400-1.454, P=0.406). The 5-year CSS rate was47.5% in good glycemic control subgroup and 44.1% in poor glycemic control subgroup(HR=0.826, 95% CI:0.398-1.713, P=0.605). And both two subgroups yielded a similar 5-year PFS rate(42.2% vs. 36.3%, HR=0.908,95% CI: 0.441-1.871, P=0.792).Conclusions: DM promoted disease progress of GC after gastrectomy but had not yet led to the significant discrepancy of CSS. 7Downregulation of HNRNPK in human cancer cells inhibits lung metastasis显示文摘Background: Lung cancer frequently occurs in the clinic, leading to poor prognosis and high mortality. Markers for early diagnosis of lung cancer are scarce, and further potential therapeutic targets are also urgently needed.Method: We established a new mouse model in which the specific gene HNRNPK(heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K) was downregulated after administration of doxycycline. 8Maximum Data Collection Rate in Rechargeable Wireless Sensor Networks with Multiple Sinks显示文摘In rechargeable wireless sensor networks, a sensor cannot be always benefi cial to conserve energy when a network can harvest excessive energy from the environment due to its energy replenished continually and limited energy storage capacity. Therefore, surplus energy of a node can be utilized for strengthening packet delivery efficiency and improving data collection rate. In this work, we propose an algorithm to compute an upper data generation rate that maximizes it as an optimization problem for a network with multiple sinks, which is formulated as a linear programming problem. Subsequently, a dual problem by introducing Lagrange multipliers is constructed, and subgradient algorithms are used to solve it in a distributed manner. The resulting algorithms are guaranteed to converge to an optimal data generation rate, which are illustrated by an example in which an optimum data generation rate is computed for a network of randomly distributed nodes. 10Heterojunction interface editing in Co/NiCoP nanospheres by oxygen atoms decoration for synergistic accelerating hydrogen and oxygen evolution electrocatalysis显示文摘Controllable designing of well-defined heterojunction nanostructures provides an insightful strategy for accelerating the kinetics of the hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions(HER/OER),but such task is still challenging.Herein,we proposed a protocol of heterojunction interface editing(HIE)strategy by oxygen atoms decoration for synergistic boosting electrocatalytic HER and OER performances.A novel Co/NiCoP nanospheres(NSs)heterojunction was synthesized by crystal seed template transformation method with Ni_(5)P_(4) microspheres as seeds.The effective oxygen atoms interface editing increased the oxidation state of Co atoms and prolonged the Co-P bond length of Co/NiCoP NSs heterojunction,thus the electron localization on P sites was enhanced,leading to the dramatically elevated HER and OER performances simultaneously.The as-constructed O-Co/NiCoP NSs show excellent electrocatalytic activity with 361 and 430 mV vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)to arrive high current density of 300 mA·cm^(-2)for HER and OER in 1 M KOH as well as good stability.The proposed HIE concept could provide a new perspective on the catalyst design for energy conversion systems.Yan Lin Xiaojiao Cui Yilin Zhao Zhicheng Liu Guoxin Zhang Yuan Pan 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:1

13Atomically Dispersed Fe-N_4 Modified with Precisely Located S for Highly Efficient Oxygen Reduction显示文摘Immobilizing metal atoms by multiple nitrogen atoms has triggered exceptional catalytic activity toward many critical electrochemical reactions due to their merits of highly unsaturated coordination and strong metal-substrate interaction.Herein,atomically dispersed Fe-NC material with precise sulfur modification to Fe periphery(termed as Fe-NSC) was synthesized,X-ray absorption near edge structure analysis confirmed the central Fe atom being stabilized in a specific configuration of Fe(N3)(N-C-S).By enabling precisely localized S doping,the electronic structure of Fe-N4 moiety could be mediated,leading to the beneficial adjustment of absorption/desorption properties of reactant/intermediate on Fe center.Density functional theory simulation suggested that more negative charge density would be localized over Fe-N4 moiety after S doping,allowing weakened binding capability to *OH intermediates and faster charge transfer from Fe center to O species.Electrochemical measurements revealed that the Fe-NSC sample exhibited significantly enhanced oxygen reduction reaction performance compared to the S-free Fe-NC material(termed as Fe-NC),showing an excellent onset potential of 1.09 V and half-wave potential of 0.92 V in 0.1 M KOH.Our work may enlighten relevant studies regarding to accessing improvement on the catalytic performance of atomically dispersed M-NC materials by managing precisely tuned local environments of M-Nx moiety.Yin Jia Xuya Xiong Danni Wang Xinxuan Duan Kai Sun Yajie Li Lirong Zheng Wenfeng Lin Mingdong Dong Guoxin Zhang Wen Liu Xiaoming Sun 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,9:1
14Diabetes mellitus promoted lymph node metastasis in gastric cancer: a 15-year single-institution experience显示文摘Background: Previous studies have revealed that diabetes mellitus (DM) promotes disease progress of gastric cancer (GC). This study aimed to further investigating whether DM advanced lymph nodes (LNs) metastasis in GC.Methods: The clinicopathologic data of GC patients with >15 examined LN (ELN) between October 2004 and December 2019 from a prospectively maintained database were included. The observational outcomes included the number (N3b status) and anatomical distribution (N3 stations) of metastatic LN (MLN).Results: A total of 2142 eligible patients were included in the study between October 2004 and December 2019. N3 stations metastasis (26.8% in DMvs. 19.3% in non-DM,P = 0.026) and N3b status (18.8% in DMvs. 12.8% in non-DM,P = 0.039) were more advanced in the DM group, and multivariate logistic regression analyses confirmed that DM was an independent factor of developing N3 stations metastasis (odds ratio [OR] = 1.771,P= 0.011) and N3b status (OR= 1.752,P= 0.028). Also, multivariate analyses determined DM was independently associated with more MLN (β = 1.424,P = 0.047). The preponderance of N3 stations metastasis (DMvs. non-DM, T1-2: 2.2%vs. 4.9%, T3: 29.0%vs. 20.3%, T4a: 38.9%vs. 25.8%, T4b: 50.0%vs. 36.6%;ELN16-29: 8.6%vs. 10.4%, ELN30-44: 27.9%vs. 20.5%, ELN ≥ 45: 37.7%vs. 25.3%), N3b status (DMvs. non-DM, T1-2: 0%vs. 1.7%, T3: 16.1%vs. 5.1%, T4a: 27.8%vs. 19.1%, T4b: 44.0%vs. 28.0%;ELN16-29: 8.6%vs. 7.9%, ELN30-44: 18.0%vs. 11.8%, ELN ≥ 45: 26.4%vs. 17.3%), and the number of MLN (DMvs. non-DM, T1-2: 0.4vs. 1.1, T3: 8.6vs. 5.2, T4a: 9.7vs. 8.6, T4b: 17.0vs. 12.8;ELN16-29: 3.6vs. 4.6, ELN30-44: 5.8vs. 5.5, ELN ≥ 45: 12.0vs. 7.7) of DM group increased with the advancement of primary tumor depth stage and raising of ELN.Conclusions: DM was an independent risk factor for promoting LN metastasis. 15Impact of preoperative therapy on surgical outcomes of laparoscopic total gastrectomy for gastric/gastroesophageal junction cancer显示文摘Objective: As laparoscopic surgery is widely applied for primarily treated gastric cancer(GC)/gastroesophageal junction cancer(GEJC) and gains many advantages, the feasibility of laparoscopic total gastrectomy(LTG) for GC/GEJC patients who have received preoperative therapy(PT) has come to the fore. This study aims to analyze the safety and feasibility of LTG after PT for GC/GEJC patients.Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data of 511 patients with GC/GEJC undergoing LTG, of which 405received LTG(LTG group) and 106 received PT+LTG(PT-LTG group) at Nanfang Hospital between June 2018and September 2022. The surgical outcomes were compared between the two groups.Results: The surgical duration was significantly longer in the PT-LTG group(P<0.001), while the incidence of intraoperative complications(P=1.000), postoperative complications(LTG group vs. PT-LTG group: 26.2% vs.23.6%, P=0.587), the classification of complication severity(P=0.271), and postoperative recovery was similar between two groups. Notably, the incidence of anastomotic complications of esophagojejunostomy was also comparable between the two groups(LTG group vs. PT-LTG group: 5.9% vs. 5.7%, P=0.918). The univariate and multivariate analysis confirmed that positive proximal margin [positive vs. negative: odds ratio(OR)=14.094, 95%confidence interval(95% CI): 2.639-75.260, P=0.002], rather than PT, has an impact on anastomotic complications after LTG(OR=0.945, 95% CI: 0.371-2.408, P=0.905).Conclusions: PT did not increase the surgical risk of LTG for GC/GEJC. 16Sensitively detecting antigen of SARS-CoV-2 by NIR-Ⅱ fluorescent nanoparticles显示文摘Early detection of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection is an efficient way to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).Detecting SARS-CoV-2 antigen can be rapid and convenient,but it is still challenging to develop highly sensitive methods for effective diagnosis.Herein,a lateral flow assay(LFA)based on fluorescent nanoparticles emitting in the second near-infrared(NIR-II)window is developed for sensitive detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen.Benefiting from the NIR-II fluorescence with high penetration and low autofluorescence,such NIR-II based LFA allows enhanced signal-to-background ratio,and the limit of detection is down to 0.01 ng·mL^(−1)of SARS-CoV-2 antigen.In the clinical swab sample tests,the NIR-II LFA outperforms the colloidal gold LFA with higher overall percent agreement with the polymerase chain reaction test.The clinical samples with low antigen concentrations(~0.015–~0.068 ng·mL^(−1))can be successfully detected by the NIR-II LFA,but fail for the colloidal gold LFA.The NIR-II LFA can provide a promising platform for highly sensitive,rapid,and cost-effective method for early diagnosis and mass screening of SARS-CoV-2 infection.Ruibin Hu Tao Liao Yan Ren Wenming Liu Rui Ma Xinyuan Wang Qihui Lin Guoxin Wang Yongye Liang 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:0

18Hypoglycemic mechanism of Tegillarca granosa polysaccharides on type 2 diabetic mice by altering gut microbiota and regulating the PI3K-akt signaling pathwaye显示文摘Type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)is a complex metabolic disease threatening human health.We investigated the effects of Tegillarca granosa polysaccharide(TGP)and determined its potential mechanisms in a mouse model of T2DM established through a high-fat diet and streptozotocin.TGP(5.1×10^(3) Da)was composed of mannose,glucosamine,rhamnose,glucuronic acid,galactosamine,glucose,galactose,xylose,and fucose.It could significantly alleviate weight loss,reduce fasting blood glucose levels,reverse dyslipidemia,reduce liver damage from oxidative stress,and improve insulin sensitivity.RT-PCR and Western blotting indicated that TGP could activate the phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase/protein kinase B signaling pathway to regulate disorders in glucolipid metabolism and improve insulin resistance.TGP increased the abundance of Allobaculum,Akkermansia,and Bifidobacterium,restored the microbiota abundance in the intestinal tracts of mice with T2DM,and promoted short-chain fatty acid production.This study provides new insights into the antidiabetic effects of TGP and highlights its potential as a natural hypoglycemic nutraceutical.Qihong Jiang Lin Chen Rui Wang Yin Chen Shanggui Deng Guoxin Shen Shulai Liu Xingwei Xiang 2024Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,2:0

20Evolution features of in-situ permeability of low-maturity shale with the increasing temperature,Cretaceous Nenjiang Formation,northern Songliao Basin,NE China显示文摘Temperature-triaxial pressure permeability testing at the axial pressure of 8 MPa and confining pressure of 10 MPa,closed shale system pyrolysis experiment by electrical heating and scanning electron microscopy analysis are used to study the evolution mechanism of in-situ permeability in the direction parallel to bedding of low-maturity shale from Member 2(K_(2)n_(2))of Cretaceous Nenjiang Formation in northern Songliao Basin with mainly Type I kerogen under the effect of temperature.With the increasing temperature,the in-situ permeability presents a peak-valley-peak tendency.The lowest value of in-situ permeability occurs at 375℃.Under the same temperature,the in-situ permeability decreases with the increase of pore pressure.The in-situ permeability evolution of low-maturity shale can be divided into 5 stages:(1)From 25℃to 300℃,thermal cracking and dehydration of clay minerals improve the permeability.However,the value of permeability is less than 0.01×10^(-3)μm^(2).(2)From 300℃to 350℃,organic matter pyrolysis and hydrocarbon expulsion result in mineral intergranular pores and micron pore-fractures,these pores and fractures form an interconnected pore network at limited scale,improving the permeability.But the liquid hydrocarbon,with high content of viscous asphaltene,is more difficult to move under stress and more likely to retain in pores,causing slow rise of the permeability.(3)From 350℃to 375℃,pores are formed by organic matter pyrolysis,but the adsorption swelling of liquid hydrocarbon and additional expansion thermal stress constrained by surrounding stress compress the pore-fracture space,making liquid hydrocarbon difficult to expel and permeability reduce rapidly.(4)From 375℃to 450℃,the interconnected pore network between different mineral particles after organic matter conversion,enlarged pores and transformation of clay minerals promote the permeability to increase constantly even under stress constraints.(5)From 450℃to 500℃,the stable pore system and crossed fracture system in different bedding directions significantly enhance the permeability.The organic matter pyrolysis,pore-fracture structure and surrounding stress in the different stages are the key factors affecting the evolution of in-situ permeability.HE Wenyuan MENG Qi'an LIN Tiefeng WANG Rui LIU Xin MA Shengming LI Xin YANG Fan SUN Guoxin 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,3:0
