2Seed metabolomic study reveals significant metabolite variations and correlations among different soybean cultivars显示文摘Soybean[Glycine max(L.) Merr.]is one of the world's major crops,and soybean seeds are a rich and important resource for proteins and oils.While 'omics' studies,such as genomics,transcriptomics,and proteomics,have been widely applied in soybean molecular research,fewer metabolomic studies have been conducted for largescale detection of low molecular weight metabolites,especially in soybean seeds.In this study,we investigated the seed metabolomes of 29 common soybean cultivars through combined gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.One hundred sixty-nine named metabolites were identified and subsequently used to construct a metabolic network of mature soybean seed.Among the 169 detected metabolites,104 were found to be significantly variable in their levels across tested cultivars.Metabolite markers that could be used to distinguish genetically related soybean cultivars were also identified,and metabolitemetabolite correlation analysis revealed some significant associations within the same or among different metabolite groups.Findings from this work may potentially provide the basis for further studies on both soybean seed metabolism and metabolic engineering to improve soybean seed quality and yield.Hong Lin Jun Rao Jianxin Shi Chaoyang Hu Fang Cheng Zoe A.Wilson Dabing Zhang Sheng Quan 2014Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2014,56,9:7

5Anti-VEGF therapy prevents Müller intracellular edema by decreasing VEGF-A in diabetic retinopathy显示文摘Background:Although vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGF-A)is known to play a key role in causing retinal edema,whether and how VEGF-A induces intracellular edema in the retina still remains unclear.Methods:Sprague-Dawley rats were rendered diabetic with intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin.Intravitreal injection of ranibizumab was performed 8 weeks after diabetes onset.rMC-1 cells(rat Müller cell line)were treated with glyoxal for 24 h with or without ranibizumab.The expression levels of inwardly rectifying K^(+)channel 4.1(Kir4.1),aquaporin 4(AQP4),Dystrophin 71(Dp71),VEGF-A,glutamine synthetase(GS)and sodium-potassium-ATPase(Na^(+)-K^(+)-ATPase)were examined using Western blot.VEGF-A in the supernatant of the cell culture was detected with ELISA.The intracellular potassium and sodium levels were detected with specific indicators.Results:Compared with normal control,protein expressions of Kir4.1 and AQP4 were down-regulated significantly in diabetic rat retinas,which were prevented by ranibizumab.The above changes were recapitulated in vitro.Similarly,the intracellular potassium level in glyoxal-treated rMC-1 cells was increased,while the intracellular sodium level and Na^(+)-K^(+)-ATPase protein level remained unchanged,compared with control.However,ranibizumab treatment decreased intracellular sodium,but not potassium.Conclusion:Ranibizumab protected Müller cells from diabetic intracellular edema through the up-regulation of Kir4.1 and AQP4 by directly binding VEGF-A.It also caused a reduction in intracellular osmotic pressure.Tianqin Wang Chaoyang Zhang Hai Xie Mengmeng Jiang Haibin Tian Lixia Lu Guo-Tong Xu Lin Liu Jingfa Zhang 2021Eye and Vision2021,8,1:3

12Clinical Study on the Treatment of Low Anal Fistula in Infants and Young Children by Anal Gland Excision and Virtual Hanging Procedure显示文摘Objective:To compare the efficacy of anal adenectomy with virtual hanging wire and anal fistulotomy in the treatment of low anal fistula in infants and children.Methods:60 children with low anal fistula who were admitted to our hospital from October 2021 to March 2022 and met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups of 30 cases each;the treatment group was treated with anal adenectomy and virtual hanging wire surgery,and the control group was treated with anal fistula resection.The clinical efficacy after treatment was compared.Results:The total effective rate of both groups was 96.67%and the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The postoperative pain score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The length of hospitalization and healing time of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The anal function of the patients in both groups was normal,and there was no adverse reaction.Conclusion:Anal gland excision and virtual hanging surgery for the treatment of low anal fistula in infants and children have the advantages of mild pain,reduced length of hospitalization,short healing time,and better patient experience as compared to anal fistula excision.Hongbo Su Linmei Sun Yimiao Liang Jiansheng Hu Yongli Zhang Ni Wei Chaoyang Li Lin Tang 2024Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2024,8,3:0
13Analysis of oil shedding and ligaments formation on bearing rotary elements显示文摘For designing efficient lubrication system of an aeroengine bearing chamber,sufficient knowledge on oil/air two-phase flow characteristics is required.When analyzing bearing chamber two-phase flow,the essential prerequisite is quantifying the oil ligaments,which are detached from bearing rotary elements and shed into the bearing chamber.Related investigations are mainly targeted at liquid shedding on the rotating disk as opposed to the bearing rotary elements.Moreover,the research based on bearing rotary elements is conducted by experiment.Due to the limited operating conditions,experimental studies cannot guide engineering applications.To overcome these limitations,a theoretical model is established in this paper,for revealing the mechanism of oil shedding from bearing rotary elements and quantifying the shedding ligaments.The theoretical model is validated against experimental results from classical studies.In addition,the correlation for shedding ligaments number based on aeroengine bearing structural and operational parameters is obtained via theoretical analysis.The analytical results demonstrate that oil shedding and ligaments formation appear at the edge of bearing inner race outer-periphery.The number of shedding ligaments increases with the rise of shaft rotational speed while decreases with the growth of oil viscosity.Donglei ZHU Guoding CHEN Yanjun LI Chaoyang ZHANG Lin WANG 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,2:0
14Are our clone detectors good enough?An empirical study of code effects by obfuscation显示文摘Clone detection has received much attention in many fields such as malicious code detection,vulnerability hunting,and code copyright infringement detection.However,cyber criminals may obfuscate code to impede violation detection.To date,few studies have investigated the robustness of clone detectors,especially in-fashion deep learning-based ones,against obfuscation.Meanwhile,most of these studies only measure the difference between one code snippet and its obfuscation version.However,in reality,the attackers may modify the original code before obfuscating it.Then what we should evaluate is the detection of obfuscated code from cloned code,not the original code.For this,we conduct a comprehensive study evaluating 3 popular deep-learning based clone detectors and 6 commonly used traditional ones.Regarding the data,we collect 6512 clone pairs of five types from the dataset BigCloneBench and obfuscate one program of each pair via 64 strategies of 6 state-of-art commercial obfuscators.We also collect 1424 non-clone pairs to evaluate the false positives.In sum,a benchmark of 524,148 code pairs(either clone or not)are generated,which are passed to clone detectors for evaluation.To automate the evaluation,we develop one uniform evaluation framework,integrating the clone detectors and obfuscators.The results bring us interesting findings on how obfuscation affects the performance of clone detection and what is the difference between traditional and deep learning-based clone detectors.In addition,we conduct manual code reviews to uncover the root cause of the phenomenon and give suggestions to users from different perspectives.Weihao Huang Guozhu Meng Chaoyang Lin Qiucun Yan Kai Chen Zhuo Ma 2023Cybersecurity2023,6,4:0

17A 3D CFD simulation of oil spray-collection and delivery process in an aeroengine inter-shaft bearing显示文摘Under-race lubrication applied to the inter-shaft bearing of aeroengine is characterized by spray oil collection and oil delivery to the bearing via flow-path structure. Droplet splashing induced by the collision between spray oil and the scoop as well as oil flowing characteristics in the flow-path influence bearing lubrication efficiency. In previous investigations, the spray oil collection and oil delivery analysis were separated, and the effect of droplet splashing on bearing lubrication efficiency was not considered. Moreover, time-varying characteristics of oil delivered to the bearing were not accounted for. This is caused by time variations of the circumferential position of rollers and under-race feed holes. To overcome these limitations, a numerical model which integrates the spray oil collection and oil delivery analysis is proposed in this paper. The model is embedded with the function of calculating the flow rate of splashing droplets and analyzing time-varying characteristics of the oil fed to the bearing. Furthermore, the numerical model is validated by experimental investigation.
