| 14 | A novel ceria hollow nanosphere catalyst for low temperature NOx storage显示文摘In this work,a highly active CeO_(2) catalyst with hollow nanosphere morphology for low temperature NO_(x) storage was prepared by a surfactant-assisted solvothermal reaction.The physicochemical properties of ceria samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),N_(2) adsorption–desorption,H_(2)-temperature programmed reduction(H_(2)-TPR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and in situ diffused reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS).The as-prepared CeO_(2) nanosphere possesses excellent NO oxidation capacity,smaller mesopores,better reducibility and more surface Ce^(3+)content.Compared with CeO_(2) with nanorod and nanoparticle morphologies,CeO_(2) nanosphere shows better intrinsic low temperature NO_(x) trapping performance,with a wide operating temperature window(150–300℃),high NO_(x) adsorption capacity(NAC,640–745μmol/g)and high NO_(x) storage capacity(NSC,250–350μmol/g).Two reaction pathways are speculated for NO_(x) adsorption on CeO_(2) nanosphere,including“nitrate route”and“nitrite route”.The thermally unstable surface nitrites formed on the CeO_(2) nanosphere allow ceria to release more NO_(x) during the desorption process.The present work provides a new ceria morphology for NO_(x) traps,which may become a potential excellent NO_(x) storage material. | Wenxu Liu Huiming Cao Zhongpeng Wang Chenchen Cui Liangran Gan Wei Liu Liguo Wang | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,4: | 0 |
| 15 | Crossover patterns under meiotic chromosome program显示文摘Repairing DNA double-strand breaks(DSBs)with homologous chromosomes as templates is the hallmark of meiosis.The critical outcome of meiotic homologous recombination is crossovers,which ensure faithful chromosome segregation and promote genetic diversity of progenies.Crossover patterns are tightly controlled and exhibit three characteristics:obligatory crossover,crossover interference,and crossover homeostasis.Aberrant crossover patterns are the leading cause of infertility,miscarriage,and congenital disease.Crossover recombination occurs in the context of meiotic chromosomes,and it is tightly integrated with and regulated by meiotic chromosome structure both locally and globally.Meiotic chromosomes are organized in a loop-axis architecture.Diverse evidence shows that chromosome axis length determines crossover frequency.Interestingly,short chromosomes show different crossover patterns compared to long chromosomes.A high frequency of human embryos are aneuploid,primarily derived from female meiosis errors.Dramatically increased aneuploidy in older women is the well-known“maternal age effect.”However,a high frequency of aneuploidy also occurs in young women,derived from crossover maturation inefficiency in human females.In addition,frequency of human aneuploidy also shows other age-dependent alterations.Here,current advances in the understanding of these issues are reviewed,regulation of crossover patterns by meiotic chromosomes are discussed,and issues that remain to be investigated are suggested. | Shunxin Wang Yongliang Shang Yanlei Liu Binyuan Zhai Xiao Yang Liangran Zhang | 2021 | Asian Journal of Andrology2021,23,6: | 0 |
| 16 | Early intervention improves clinical responses to seasonal allergic rhinitis by stimulation in sphenopalatine ganglion(Xinwu acupoint)显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To examine the efficacy of early intervention(4 weeks before pollen dispersal)with sphenopalatine ganglion(Xinwu acupoint)stimulation in patients with allergies after the onset of seasonal allergic rhinitis(SAR).METHODS:This is a prospective,randomized and unblinded half-open study.Forty-one SAR volunteers were randomly assigned to either the sphenopalatine ganglion(SPG)acupuncture plus supplementary acupuncture(SPG group)or the sham-SPG acupuncture plus supplementary acupuncture(SA group)stimulation 4 weeks before the onset of allergy season.The changes of the total nasal symptom score(TNSS)and the Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire(RQLQ)scores were measured on the first week in the onset of allergy season.RESULTS:Four patients dropped out due to local hematoma and pain in the SPG and SA groups.The remaining 37 patients continued through to the end of the trial.After early intervention 4 weeks before the onset of allergy season,the sneezing,nasal congestion and itchiness scores in the first week of onset time were significantly lower in the SPG group than in the SA group patients(P<0.001).The RQLQ score obtained at the onset of symptoms indicated that symptoms were more significantly ameliorated in the SPG group than in the SA group(P<0.001).CONCLUSIONS:The results of this study confirmed that early intervention by sphenopalatine ganglion(Xinwu acupoint)stimulation can effectively improve the symptoms and the quality of SAR patients'daily lives. | GUO Yuhao HUANG Liangran ZHANG Lei YANG Wei HUANG Lixia LIU Wei FAN Yuyan | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,4: | 0 |
